An unusual place, they have tried to make it homely, with the different types of seating areas, and quirky displays. So doesn't matter if you are popping in for coffee with friends, or a meal. If you've time, there are plenty of books to browse through
The Shak Shuka is always lovely for breakfast, and the slow cooked Angus Beef is wonderful for lunch. Although, we have never had a bad meal.
Staff always friendly and efficient, and offer a warm welcome each visit.
Nice place, the atmosphere is friendly and cosy ,amazing staff, shelves full of different kind of books and they have the tastiest brownies ever.

I wasn’t able to go inside the cafe due to Quarantine. They were only taking orders on the Whatsapp. I placed my order for the Tiramisu. 40 dhs for a neatly packed dessert. Very nicely designed box. Kept my Tiramisu cold all the way home. Dessert was delicious 😋 I haven’t tried any of their coffee, so will definitely be going back to try some.

Yesterday we went to @thirdplaceuae in abudhabi. It was a cozy place to have dinner or coffee, my friend suggested me to try their cheesecake, trust me it was the best cheese cake that i have ever tried and the sandwich was also good.we also ordered mixed grill and tiramisu...loved each n everything...the chef did amazing hardwork on his dishes...My hubby and our lovely kids had an amazing time.They have alot of vegan and gluten-free options.
The decor and the furniture was so cozy and comfortable, a very comfortable place to catch up with friends or just hang out by yourself.
They also have a study area, alot of people come here and work on their laptops while enjoying a cup of coffee.
Prices are good but on a high side a little bit but if you are a food lover than it's nice place for you. I would highly recommend and would love to go again..

The menu was very creative, it’s not the usual type of paper waste jar actually written in an entire wall. I appreciate this fact. The waiters were very friendly and cooperative with me. The food was served in a desirable time, and the food was delicious first time trying a crème brûlée’s type of French toast in top of bananas, highly recommended it.
Third place will always be one of my favorite cafes in Abu Dhabi. Their food is a bit pricey but has a great quality. The ambience is very quiet and good for studying or meeting with a friend.
Nice cozy place in a very nice location.
I like that they have a big menu with so many dishes and appetizers.
You can go there alone to study or read books and enjoy a nice meal or a cup of coffee with a group
Humans spend their life striking a balance between Work and Home. They wake up after snoozing the alarm a couple of times, make a coffee, drive to the office, sit on the work desk for a day, and drive back home. Upon arriving from work at evening, they spend time with family, eat dinner, set the alarm, and hit the bed. Next day, the cycle repeats itself. To seek solace, humans need a place which is neither Home nor Work, the third place. A place where Humans can spend time with themselves, away from the hustle-bustle of the first two places. Choice of third place is subjective and depends on the priorities in the life of an individual. For someone, it is a place that offers a feeling of home away from home and office away from the office. It is comforting to seat at such a place with strangers and no obligation to speak or greet. The Third Place Cafe at Capital is the place where you will find solace, serenity, and a time for self.
Undoubtedly, the best Cafe Restaurant in the city. The food's delicious and the staff are very friendly. Located near the Corniche road, the ambience is lovely. Note: There is plenty of parking in front of the cafe, so for those with cars, that is one headache to avoid.
Third place cafe should be called the first place cafe because its the first place that comes to my mind when i want to have a quite place to study or work. Their library room upstairs is meant just for that and trust me its perfect, well lighted, well spaced, comfy seating and the right amount of silence. For those who are fond of reading they also have good collection of books to read :)
Downstairs is a great place to catch up with pals..play the board games they have. They even have an outdoor seating place which is amazing during UAE winters and evenings.
Coming to food..its just amazing though pricy but the quantity served and taste justifies the price!
So far the items that ive liked and would definitely recommend include chia pudding, roasted pumpkin soup, spanish omlette, crispy chicken strips with amazing dip, grilled chicken with couscous, capuccino, frappe, bullet coffee, chicken caesar wrap/sandwich, french toast and their third place mochachino.
Very nice place with chilled ambience. Food quality is very consistent, best menu items include the Beef brisket, the Mexican salad and the Bullet Proof Coffee. The Bullet Proof Coffee is one of my favourite coffees in UAE. Only thing I don't like is that they rarely offer new interesting main items.
The ambience of the place is lovely ! It's a great place if you want to spend some time catching up with friends or just go there and enjoy having a cup of coffee and eat some good food. Also a special mention for the tagline they have mentioned below their name board which I thought was quite apt, "That neutral corner that is neither your work, nor your home."
