لا شيء جيد في هذا المطعم سوى المكان .. الطعام سيء للغاية .. يمكن القول بأنه قد يكون مؤذي صحياً Nothing good in this restaurant except the view .. food was very bad.

انا لا أوصي بهذا المطعم على الإطلاق، مع الأسف الشديد تراجع مستوى المطعم لحد كبير جدا منذ أكثر من عام الا انه وصل إلى مستوى غير مقبول. ما يميز هذا المطعم هو انه مطعم متخصص في السمك وعندما يفشل المطعم بتقديم سمك طازج نوعا ما وإعداده بالطريقة الصحيحة فإن ذلك دليل على فشل المطعم. مع الأسف فإنه قد تم استبدال الطاقم الناطق بالعربية واستبداله بطاقه آسيوي، ليس هنالك اي إنقاص من حق اي احد، ولكن هذا مطعم سمك بطريقة عربية واذا لم يكن العاملون على دراية بذوق الناس فإن ذلك يعتبر مشكلة. لا أعلم اذا ما تم استبدال الطاهي الرئيسي ايضا ام لا ولكن اخمن ذلك نظرا لتدني مستوى الطهي.

هادئ وجميل، أخطأت باختيار سمك السلطان ابراهيم كثير الحسك بناءا على نصيحة غير موفقة، ولم استمتع به. ربما في زيارة اخرى احظى بنصيحة أفضل.

الاكل فيه زنخة صراحة ( السمك المقلي و الكلماري ) + الاسعار بحاجة دراسة اكثر مقارنة بالأماكن الثانية السلطات و المتبل و الغنوج كويسة، بس الاسعار عامة مرتفعة مقارنة بأماكن ثانية

Looking for an evening with great outdoor seating, amazing shisha, Beirut beer and amazing food? Head out to Flooka! It's one of those hidden gems 💎 that makes you think, why we didn't visit this place earlier. We tried their Batata Harra 🥔 for starters, it was flavourful. For the main course we tried Sayadiyeh and Spinach Ricotta Ravioli, both were scrumptious. The portion is good and they do provide you sides to munch on. For drinks we ordered Beirut beer and shisha to accompany. Great food and service made our evening wonderful. We will surely visit again. Cheers!! 🍻

Flooka is always our favourite seafood place in abu Dhabi. We always enjoy sheesha over there this time as its summer we couldn't enjoy that, but generally very good ambiance and good seafood especially the prawns grill and their staff Mr. SANDEEP took very good care and very attentive.

Amazing seafood restaurant in Eastern Mangorves. A bit overpiced, but food is nice and the outdoor seating is too good when the temp is low. the only issue i faced was they took long time to serve the food we had asked for, rest all was good.

The hummus was good, the battara Harra was ok. For my main I ordered the ravioli with a pomodoro sauce. The ravioli was insulting and charging AED 73 for frozen store bought pasta is a disgrace. The sauce lacked flavor and I could almost taste the jar it was poured out of.

If you want a nice setting by the mangroves in Abu Dhabi, with amazing seafood sipping a cold beer, then defiantly this is the place to be. Amazing food amazing ambiance, LOVE THE PLACE

It is one of the best experience in Abu Dhabi. Location is amazing, food is really Good. The band that was performing on Saturday made the atmosphere great. If you are visiting Abu Dhabi, it is a must to go to Flooka.

If you’re looking for the best seafood place in town then look no further! Plus it’s worth trying even for some drinks by the water, one of my most favorite places in town.

It’s very nice place and great location. It was our second visit to this place and we were happy last time. This visit, unfortunately didn’t go really well as the waiter didn’t get the request on the removing any spices from the food and 2 out of 3 dishes were spicy. Also, we requested to change the side dish, which was done after some time. Luckily the restaurant manager got involved and helped us to replace the very spicy dish completely. Overall, I recommend this place, but be cautious / double check with the waiter on the details.

There was a band performing when we went to Flooka on a Saturday. The atmosphere was so nice, the staff are friendly and the view is relaxing. The seafood was yummy.

If you feel like eating seafood with a great view and nice ambience on a Saturday afternoon, Flooka is the place to be at. Every Saturday a live band preforms there during lunch time from 3:00 to 5:30. It literally feels like home and it’s a very comfortable restaurant and that’s why we are more than customers there. My family and I literally go there every Saturday. The staff are so friendly the management is beyond amazing the food is great the view is beautiful, what else can we ask for? <br/>I like restaurant’s management who cares about the tiniest details, for example yesterday we were having lunch there and we ordered fillet of the day, and surprisingly it took more than an hour to arrive due to miscommunication between the staff, however we told them to cancel it as we had to leave by then, so they sent us complimentary ice cream as a gesture/ apology for that action in addition they apologized many times themselves to us. This was really thoughtful and extremely nice of them. Thank you Flooka team, keep up the good work.

One of the best seafood places u can visit. You can pick fresh raw fish to be cooked for u. It takes bit more time than but totally worth the wait as long as u r eating something really fresh! Appetizers are also good.<br/>Ambience is really nice at the outdoor viewing by the seaside and at the indoor u will be fascinated by the Fish Squadron chandelier.

1st time here, i have ordered fish shish tawook, sayadia and fish and chips.. Fish shish tawook is really tasty and moutg watering.. Fish and chips normal nothing special, sayadia i didn't like it at all! Rice not well cooked. Outdoor setting area with mangrove views its really wow. Staff unwelcomed and helpless. Its over priced specially with small portions!!<br/><br/>I would give 5 stars if price reduced, more friendly staff and enlarge the food portions.

I visited this place for their Saturday brunch and must admit it was really great. The chef made amazing Jumbo prawns .. The outdoor terrace has an excellent view of the mangroves along with the live music band. With the weather kicking in, its perfect time to enjoy and relax at this venue. Thank you team for your great food and service. I will be back soon. Highly recommend it for the seafood lovers..

I went for iftar buffet in Ramadan, very poor buffet, one glass of juice on the table, one kind of soup, one small plate of dessert on the table, we paid 165 AED for person it really doesn't worth 50 Dirham. Big loss of money

This is the worst iftar i have been. Ruined my dinner experience. Food was bad quality. No ambience at all. Service very slow. No dessert station.

Very bad experience. I had Ramadan Iftar with family. I was expecting high-quality seafood but guess what, three basic dishes, no varieties of options. Even it is a buffet, there is no dessert available. The waiter brought a small dish to our table with his own choice of desserts !! Honestly, I would not come back again and would not recommend it to anyone.

We went to Flooka for Ramadan buffet. You can't even call it buffet, the meal options are so limited. The worst buffet in entire Abu Dhabi. No option for drinks, they serve only water or Ramadan drink. No buffet for sweets, it's coming directly from the kitchen on the plate<br/>

Flooka, presented a lot of promise with a great location, but failed to deliver. We made the trip based on a timeout write up and do I regret it. The hostess made us feel welcome and our table was in a prime spot. When it came to get some food from the Iftar Buffet it was bedlam. It was a race to the buffet, Children and Women were not first and queuing was non existent. A word of advice Management, change the name to UNHCR Aid Station and issue a Tent and Blanket after patrons have left the premises. It was so bad that when we joined the huddle we realized very quickly that we were more likely to get an elbow to the face rather than a meal and left hungry and disappointed. <br/>

We went for a table of 4 for dinner with an outside view to the mangroove with an amazing weather. We ordered mezza of fattoush, moutabbal, batata 7arra, cheese rkakat, samak tajin and the chef was kind enough to cater our order which was not on the menu, fried aubergine. as main we selected fresh seafood with the options of fried and grilled and we ordered both. We ended our meal with a traditional turkish lokoum and biscuits. I highly recommend this place.

Had a meal here with the family and everyone left satisfied with the experience, the fish is delicious and the outdoor seating is great! Would recommend.

This place is great, so calm facing the mangrooves. Good for Arabic cuisine. Babghanoush and the breads are so yumm and fresh that it is good for one and stomach filling. I enjoy going there. They have good music and nice place to visit. Staff is very nice and humble.

The small fried fish are very nice, we love the Mama Ganoush (Aubergine & beetroot mixture), the rest is just the same ordinary grilled seafood with same old sauces.

The food is average and The service is ok. The side dishes were very good though, did like the mama ghanoush. There are options to sit outside or inside.

Lovely experience from start to finish. The waiters were all very accomodating fron start to finish, the setting was really quite something on the water overlooking the mangroves, and the fish on offer was fresh and very tasty.<br/><br/>We had fish sojouk, fattouch salad and pumpkin kibbeh to start - all really delicious - and shared a grilled Hammour (grouper) for our main. Good atmosphere and friendly staff! The food is also good and the view is breathtaking. Vegetarians may however not find too many things on the menue. Fishlovers on the other hand will be spoilt.

We were hesitant between flooka and the neighboring restaurants in the Eastern Mangroves but after stopping by to see the menu and the atmosphere it was a no brainer to try this out! The manager was so pleasant as well, explaining us the menu and when we mentioned we have the entertainer he was so accommodating, informing us where it could be used. We had grilled fish and prawns, I have to admit it wasn’t all ‘wow’ like I have tried in other seafood restaurants. Rating it 4 mainly because we were so well taken care of and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Delicious seafood with an amazing view. We went for the lunch set menu. It includes 3 mezzes each. Any mezze from a large list can be selected so we ended up sharing 6 between 2 of us. They are quite a large portion and I love that they had so many seafood options. Fish kebbeh, prawn crunchy vermicelli, prawn croquettes were excellent. For the main course we had the grilled hammour. The meal ended with some refreshing sorbets. The staff is very friendly. We were able to spend a long time by the water and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Tried their iftar open buffet on Thursday , the overall experience was unpleasant , starting with the booking over the phone ,with a staff that can barely communicate and provide any information, the staff confirmed over phone that it's a full seafood open buffet , clearly it wasn't.<br/>The buffet itself was kinda small, the dishes were decent , the best dishes on the list were not related to seafood itself ,kinda ironic.<br/>Ramadan drinks were horrible taste wise , and just when you think the experience was half way good and bad , the dessert time comes.<br/>It's kinda difficult to be pleased when you feel you're being served leftovers of desserts , if you can call it that.<br/>I'm not sure about the restaurant experience outside Ramadan ,but I know that we paid aed 450 as 3 people for , and let's be honest here , something I wouldn't go for if it was for free, if I knew the situation in advance.<br/>The restaurant is well reputable ,but I'm no longer keen on trying it outside Ramadan.

They are serving fresh fish that they will cook based on your preference but it is too costly 😉. Serving size is quite small and the taste is just okay. But you will definitely enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant.

Flooka is situated on the Easten mangroves promenade which is a great area for watching people and boaters, especially those fun donut boats. They specialize is Arabic seafood and everything is very fresh. I went specifically for the Saturday brunch which should really be called a "set menu" but the word brunch is just too popular here in the UAE. <br/>You begin with an array of great starters. My favorites were the smooth creamy hummus, the pumpkin kibbe and the crispy spicy potatoes. They really know how to do crispy potatoes! The mezze are generous with a spectrum of dishes arriving to your table. The next course would have been the Seafood Paella, but it was not available for some reason, so we continued on to the mains of grilled prawns, and whole roasted fish. You can choose your fresh fish when you walk in the door, so we chose the Red Snapper and the Farideh. Both are served flat roasted with a selection of sauces. <br/>The dessert course was a bit lacking as we were only served one small bowl each of mango and raspberry ice cream, even though the menu read "A selection of Arabic Desserts". Regardless the ice cream was heavy on the fruit and fresh and light.<br/>Overall, Flooka is a calm and relaxing place for a drawn out Arabic style seafood lunch. The service is swift and friendly and the dining room is light and airy. The ala carte menu is vast, which is nice, but the benefit of the set menu is that you are not overwhelmed with all of the choices.

The Best place to eat Fish and Seafood. So delicious so clean and the service is very good. <br/>With a very nice view of the east mangroves. <br/>I love this place, so much relaxing and feel happy while eating such tasty yummy food. <br/>It's very difficult for me to like a restaurant but this one it's really a very good choice. <br/>Note that you it's more oriental Lebanese recipes, so if your a fan of Lebanese food you will love it.

Lovely location by the mangroves. Perfect for a lazy Friday afternoon outdoors while the weather is still nice. The menu is quite creative. We loved the Mama Ghanouj and fish falafel particularly. The naan was more like paratha but still nice. Would like to go there again.

We had read great reviews about Flooka and booked for 24th Dec for 4 people. Oh dear what a disappointment. Ordering several meza starters and fish main courses our expectations were high. Starters arrived and lacked flavour but swam in various non-descript sauces. Then several minutes later and before we had finished starters the main courses arrived. The generally non-attentive staff seemed surprised when we complained as though this was the norm. One person did try to save the day with apologies and free ice cream!!!  Free meal or a reduced bill would have been appropriate.

Hmm... where to begin. We came here for brunch. The view is lovely and so was the weather. Service was slow, seems they forgot about us. We didn't get many of the dishes on their set brunch menu, no paella ever made it to our table, even though we saw the guy making it, no grilled jumbo shrimp (which I really wanted) and the desert seemed to skip our table as well. The manger offered to serve us the missing items after we finished eating. Sorry but too late. Also please beware, as it is not mentioned, written or verbal, that it is one fish per two persons. We were changed for the extra fish from the main course selection. Won't be back.

What a pity for this restaurant with such a beautiful outdoor view to serve a low level food. The impression you get when you enter the restaurant is exciting, the sea theme decor is very nice but as soon as you taste their food you will feel disappointed. Unfortunately none of the appetizers were good but the tabbouleh and their fresh tannour bread. For the main course all fish and sea food was over cooked the red snapper fish was very dry and their jumbo shrimps were like rubber I couldn't even swallow them as if you're swallowing cotton and besides all that you will pay a lot of money for this disaster. I really wonder who is managing this place how could they accept this to happen. Sometimes public restaurants serve a way better food than those who call themselves ( fine dining restaurants). I don't recommend this place to anybody unless they only want to take a drink with shisha and enjoy the view of the sea.

My family and I decided to go to Flooka for my brothers birthday. To start off with the place, it's clean and its interior design is very beautiful especially their chandelier which was fishes swimming. The staff were very kind and helpful. Now we talk food! I tried the moules mariniere, salmon dish, hummus and fatoush, they all deserve 5.0! And their fresh bread is to die for! We also ordered the Icecream selection, it was the best.

Nothing is memorable about Flooka except for the view and lovely décor.<br/><br/>Apart from a couple of innovative mezza (makanek samak and kibbe samak) everything we tasted here (we visited 5 times) was average and below. Whether over cooked, dry or bland. The service is very slow, and staff doesn’t seem to be a bit bothered by the delays. <br/><br/>Sadly a not well-managed restaurant in beautiful location.<br/><br/>

Decided to have lunch here one day and we were not sorry. The food was amaazimggg. We went all out on our orders. The spicy potatoes were so good that i wouldnt share them with the rest of the table. The saayiadiya was amazing as well. Staff is very friendly and hospitable.

Quite a nice seafood restaurant. Food are reasonable except the mussels. Simply it is not fresh. Bread are warm and nice. A reasonably good mid price range restaurant

The location and view was nice, appetizers were good too, especially the shrimps, and the rakakat cheese. The assorted fish dish and salmon were fine. The saydiye was not that tasty, it was like any other cheap restaurant and i font recommended at all. I believe a new receipe should be used for this dish. Definitely i am not ordering it again

We came a few times to Flooka because of the view, yet we have not had once a great meal. Often a few items among the mezza we order are OK, but there are always some hit and miss items that reach the table. Like very dry and over cooked shrimps, over oily calamari, blunt salad, etc. The service can also be horrendous here, and everytime there was something wrong in our order. But the waiters don't seem to be much bothered about it.

Floods has always had a great rep- the place is a landmark for Arabic style seafood. I must say that it was but bad at all but the mussels were definitely the best surprise. With all the places you can get moules this place has even the Belgian Cafe in their freshness and flavour! Very impressive.

I & my wife went and tried Saturday branch at Flooka, the branch is not a buffet style however it's a set menu to be served.<br/><br/>Personally I prefer this style than to have buffet.<br/><br/>Food presentation was nice and the food quantity is much as well, because we felt full from the hot & cold appetizer...

Thé location of thé restaurant is perfect for a date . I went to thé restaurant With my wife and she loved thé décor and hospitality of Flooka. <br/>The service was impeccable and were very comforting .<br/>One of the best hummus in town and the grilled prawns were simply amazing kudos to the chef . I loved the Sheesha too . <br/>Would be back soon .

I was stolen in this falooka restaurant.. on Thursday 11/02/2016 I went to have my dinner, and by chance I saw my manager & his wife in the next table, so I went to greet them and I sat down with them  for about 15 minutes ,and when I returned back to my table, I  found out that y bag has been disappeared., they searched every where but nothing, police came,, still nothing...i lost my cell phone, money, IDs, keys of my house car & office.the worst thing is THERE IS NO CAMERA IN THE RESTURANT !!!I hope if I didn't go....sara_egy_queent@yahoo.comEsra..

Visited the place few times already. Ambience and atmosphere is probably the best in town for outside seating. Service is very good and they do serve shisha and alcohol. Food is generally very good but they need to work harder on the appetiser part as the variety is nice but taste is average. <br/>Abit over priced, but recommended as a nice and enjoyable sea food restaurant. <br/>Note: avoid Saturdays if you want peace and quite, as they have a live band every sat

Im not a big fan of seafood but i have to admit that this place has really good food ! Everything was good ! Appetizers are excellent especially the fried mini sardines! Must try specially now while the weather is still nice to enjoy the outdoor terrace and shisha.

Amazing outdoor seating esp in this great weather making u so relaxed ... The waiters were attentive to some point the food was good snd there were a small section with coloring and face painting for kids to enjoy... The fish as well as the appetizers were good. The hot bread they served was also very yummy. Nice place to enjoy moment of peace while eating.

Me and my family went there for dinner, as much as the view was beautiful and gorgeous , their food was the total opposite, we ordered MANY things and i cant remember all of them but most were disappointing, i ordered the fish and chips , and there was nothing so special about it, which was unexpected from a high standard fish restaurant

I loved the fish , apitizers could be better . The view is amazing . Staff are welcoming and friendly. Everything else was very good . Recommend for sea food fans .

Decided to go to eastern mangroves as I work nearby. As our guest wanted to have seafood, entered this fancy place called flooka.<br/>Since we could not understand the menu, asked the staff serving us to help.<br/>Food was just OK, croquette were amazing.<br/>Grilled hamour wasn't upto our expectations.<br/>Go there only to enjoy the ambience and weather during the winter months.<br/>(Also I think they serve sheesha) <br/>And the place is normally empty.<br/>

The view is lovely at the beach espically during the cold weather. Food and service not so lovely. We opt for 1 kg grilled shrimps, tabouleh, hummos, and lemon with mint drink.  Tabouleh was okay unsalted. we had to add salt and lemon as disered. Service was very slow and the place was empty. Waiters were lost while we were punching in our order. And they didnt know anything about the menu. Shrmip came with 2 kinds of sauces, the shrimp was very smelly that made us wanted to puke. I took one bite of the shrimp and it was very HARD, BLANT, AND JUST HORRIBLE. poor shrimps had to die for this bad dish. So basically our dinner was hummos and tabouleh with lemon mint juice. NOT RECCOMENDED.

Eastern mangrove is a very good place for families, kids can have fun by the sea and lots of activities can be done such as the doughnut boats which gave our trip a nice added sparkle. Flooka serves fresh fish and their menu variety is very generous. The mezze is pretty much lebanese from fatouche which is amazing to homos. And it is one of few restaurants in mangrove that also serves alcohol which is a must with fish :)

Been there a couple of times but yesterdays dinner was really great everything was absolutely spot on, you know a good lebo restaurant when the hommos and taboule are great☺ the service was also super friendly.

We went to Flooka Thursday evening. I ordered the Fish and Chips. Really good. Great service, amazing outdoor setting. Service was really good. The other people ordered Fillet of the day, everyone said their food was really tasty. I also gave a Flooka voucher to my friend the next day. The also went there and loved the place. Would definitely go there again.

If I could rate it a -5 I would. The moment I entered I felt the negativity. The service extremely horrible. Very rude people. We asked for a furnace to keep us warm they said no we don't have extra. Then 2 mins later they got one for another family. We asked the waiter for advise with regards to their food and he said in the most condescending way its in the menu. Yes, we know there's food on the menu. We just stood up took our belongings and left. Not looking back. Never again. I hated it and thanks for ruining our special evening out. <br/>

I did the Saturday brunch where the food was okay, a set fish menu with an Arabic twist. Location is ace, right next to the lake where you can enjoy sitting outside to dine. A chilled vibe with Shisha on the terrace.

Being a sea food lover,wanted to try this restaurant since it opened here in Anantara.On the recommendations of my friend went there on a Wednesday evening.They have an excellent outdoor seating area facing the lake,the weather was good hence we sat there.We only had the mezzes(starters) with some beers(Peroni),the mezzes were enough to fill us up,We were 5 and ordered Bizri(small fish),kibbe samak,croquettes,makanek samak,fish taouk,fish shawarma,fish felafel and sojouk samak with some hommous,tabouleh and batata harra.They only serve sea food in different varieties.The food was excellent and honestly never thought fish could be cooked in such different varieties.The service was excellent and the bread basket also was never empty.Highly recommended.

We have been thrice to this place and all the times, they have been consistent with service and food. The ambiance is great with mangroves view. They have good vegetarian options for Mezze to emphasize. There are various options in non vegetarian starters that are must try that includes fish sausages, fish shawarma, Hummus, Prawns. They serve naan just out of tandoor along with the food, just perfect. <br/><br/>The pricing is competitive and this place is definitely good visit. Try out Fridays, its bit different with few activity that will keep kids busy.

The food is fine, the staff are not really friendly specially when welcoming you if you didn't book a Reservation already. The place is over rated
