I had tried so many times this restaurant and from different branches and I liked it all the time. This time I tried their biryiani with prawns and is was delicious. The size of the meal it is quite big and there are a lots of prawns. I like this restaurant because the staff is nice all the time, food is tasty and the prices are really good.

The worst motton biryani i ever eat , i make takeaway from food court yesterday, i reheat n eat , no taste at all . I was regular customer in yas mall food court , but this time is worse one .

Its one of our to go to places each time we visit a mall. But sad to know that the quality and quantity has not lived up to the taste they previously offered. Visited this outlet and was really sad to see the size of the chicken tikka which was offered. Seems like it has gotten smaller and smaller over the years. Quantity on all dishes are not up-to their price levels. Through the see-through glass window, I did report an unhigienic situation to the manager on duty who did take a quick action to ensure that the staff involved was informed.. Don't want to give details, however it would be nice to consider these small observant details.. All in all, I hope this is just a passing phase and wishing that our Shamiana, goes beyond expectations..

I been there recently. I loved the food. I ordered grilled chicken with the rice which was full of flavour and grilled chicken was awesome,perfection to grill and I tried their biryani also which was very tasteful.. Overall I enjoyed my Lunch

I hate the places who messed up with take awzy orders coz you pick n when u open at home items are missing for which you have already paid. Same happened here. Y these guys r so careless.. you are not that busy to forget putting items in the bag.

Got a free voucher for my birthday which was expiring soon. Hence thought of have a quick Indian food while in Abu Dhabi mall. We ordered the veg kabab guldasta. It is basically a combination of 3 starters - paneer tikka, veg kabab and corn roll. All of them were delicious. We loved their green chutney and could not have enough of refills. Only hitch was they provide naan bread along with it, but it is not suitable to eat with the kababs. Have a order a seperate curry.

Tasty Indian food I like Indian food a lot, and I tried also this restaurant several times. Usually I have only butter chicken, because is my favorite Indian dish, but my husband had also mutton/ chicken biryani and it was tasty. Recently I had some new combo: butter chicken with plan biryiani rice, onions and sauces, and masala chicken tikka with plain biryiani rice onions and sauces, with a great price 25 AED. Both were very tasty. Prices are really good for the quality of the food. Even is food court restaurant, food is pretty good, nice job guys!

tried various dishes from their menu but chole bhatoore are the real good ones specially with pickle it tastes amazing. the bhatoora are soft and tasty too

Their snacks are quite good. Samosas, chats, aloo tikki and spinach cutlets are good. Masala Pav Bhaji is my favourite along with Chole bature. I always order their masala chai which comes piping hot and is one of the best I have had here. Vegetarian options are good. I do find their chicken -especially in biryani's to be very dry. My husband does like their veg-combo quite a lot. I would recommend this for light food.

Wanted somewhere for a quick meal. was very quiet day when I went so not sure what it would be like if it was busy. The staff were so polite and attentive. It made the whole dining experience really relaxing. The food was great, just the right amount (I find sometimes in UAE the portions are rather large), the best orange juice I have ever had. I really wanted to get back to try something else but never got the chance, my one regret with my visit there. Try it when you are there, you wont be disappointed.

Amazing Indian restaurant! Food tastes great! Many items all full of different flavors! But what separates it from the rest, is the Service!! There is a guy who works there, Raji.. This guy is unbelievable! He made me so loyal to this place and I tell you I go daily now and I don't give it a second thought to try another restaurant though it's in a foodcourt! I really had to thank this man in public for the efforts he does with me, he basically go to the extra mile, offers me the latest they have, care for my order, strive to prepare the best quality for me.. We were roaming around in Abu Dhabi Mall the other day and thought of grabbing a cup of Chai to invigorate us. My sister suggested Shamiana's Masala Tea. Freshly boiled tea, with adequate amount of sweetness and just enough, completely blended masalas to add a flavour was refreshing and delicious. Will definitely come back for more.

Excellent Chicken Tikka Roll!! Fully loaded with chicken and egg this is like a bomb of flavour exploding in your mouth. Lovely food, though rest of the things are average but tikka roll is a must try.

The tandoori combos are noteworthy, chola bathura is also good, Mango lassi is good, however a little expensive considering it is in food court.

Though I have posted pics of shamiana, I have not reviewed it yet and I think it's time I do. I love indian food and Shamiana serves good indian food. My favorite is the tandoori chicken poori . I have also tried the chicken Tikka biriani, seekh kabab and kheema tikki (mutton) . They have good choices of veg and non veg and best to have it at the food court served hot. It is reasonably priced and this out of shamiana hasn't let me down taste wise on the items I ordered till now. The staff are friendly and a special good job to Robin roy at the counter.

u can find shamiana at the newly refurbished food court of abu dhabi mall..usually my husband and i love tp have their combos as to butter chicken, chicken tikka, with rice or with nan or can have both. their foods were inexpensive and surely bring u a full stomach after.. they got choices from vegetarian to non vegetarian foods.. we love indian cuisines and will surely be coming here next time..

Nothing special, had the non veg combo and the pav bhaji. The breads were hard and super dry. The orange juice and lassi were no different and nothing special or tasty. Service is slow as well. Not a recommend at all !

When you are in any food court and search something Indian, this will catch your eyes. But as far as i am concerned its highly priced for the kinda food they offer. The food is ok, butter chicken can be a bit sweet for some, Chole, Battura is yum..

I had their Rashmi kebab and Chicken Tikka Naan...the Tikka was fabulous..perfect and tasty Masala and was served hot..only thing I didn't like was the French fries they gave was old o something.. Apart from that the kebab and Tikka was amazing :D must try..
