It's my first time just the other day along with my band mates and some friends and a birthday celebrant. Although we asked for samgyeupsal at first but unfortunately we're not seated at the vip room. The food was all tasteful although I don't really have the true idea of what authentic Korean food tastes like as only I have experienced eating in restos from Philippines. But I just relied from recommendations from friends, the staff and other reviews. At the rate of 1-5 I will give a 4. Thanks. I'm just a bit sad there's no karaoke and soju hahahaha

The food is not that good. The service is bad. One of the waitress looks so annoyed and don't have manners at all. She was like so rude to us. Didn't even greet us when we arrived. Anyway the food is affordable. I'm not gonna recommend this to my friends unless you train your staff well. Some are good tho too.

My all-time favorite Korean restaurant here in Abu Dhabi. Even if there are other Korean restaurants that have opened, I always come back to where my palate looks for the real authentic taste of Korean cuisine. It's yukhaejang , my favorite, tastes exactly as what I often had for lunch before when I was still living in Korea. Kamsahamnida.

I had bulgogi for grills which comes with complimentary Kimchi, radish, green veggies and rice. I also had fried chicken and japchae(which are starchy noodles with beef and mushrooms). I loved them all! The portions are really good and the service is fantastic! I will definitely come back for more

Hankook is such a great go-to place for authentic korean food in the city. They have the best yangnyeom chicken. Prices are not too expensive too, so great value for money. They have private rooms for bigger groups but I suggest calling to make a reservation, bec they’re always full! They are also conveniently located so you can pop by anytime. If you don’t know what to order, I highly recommend giving yangnyeom chicken, bulgogi and tteokbokki a try! Friendly and accommodating staff is also a nice added bonus.

We looove Hankook!<br/>We never missed a month without eating at Hankook before the community quarantine.<br/>Now that almost everyone works from home, we opt for delivery and Hankook is very reliable in such a way that the food was delivered fast and fresh. The staff is always polite and accommodating. <br/>Food servings are generous.<br/>We love CHICKEN YANG NYEOM, TTEOKBOKKI and KIMCHI ZIGE!! They're the best! Very friendly staff and service

We ate there 6 months ago. When we are about to finish our kimchi jige, I noticed there is something black in the soup. I checked it and only to find out that it is a fly! How disgusting! We would never come back.

Although it looks a bit shaby from the outside don't let that fool you, it has delicious food that although a bit unreasonably priced deserves credit. Most of the staff are friendly and don't mind explaining things and it doesn't take long to serve food. Overall, the place is really clean including the bathrooms. I would highly recommend this place for a family gathering or family events.

Just tried their samgyupsal and it was okay. Not the best but it was okay. Servings are plenty too. The only downside is that, even though you're in a separate room, you can hear super loud noises from the other rooms and it's irritating. You could hear what they're actually talking about tbh. So the ambience is a low for us. Plus, the drinking cups are dirty. It's disgustingly oily. We pour water into it and saw oil floating. Lol. I think they don't clean the utensils that good. And yeah, the staff who assists us doesn't even bother to smile even for a fake smile. She looks angry whenever we hit the call button. Anyway, thanks for the experience!

This review is going to be a work in progress.<br/><br/>I’ve always wanted to try authentic Korean food, and there is no place better to jump into Korean cuisine than at Hankook.<br/><br/>The restaurant itself looks deceptively small from the outside, but is quite large on the inside. There is a section with tables and chairs, but there are also private rooms with a raised platform and low tables with flat pillows on the floor where you would have to remove your shoes and sit on the floor. <br/><br/>Once you enter, you are quickly ushered to a table and I’m pleasantly surprised at how friendly all the staff are in the restaurant. My server was extremely patient while she guided me through the intricacies of ordering Korean food for the first time. Even though there are pictures of all the dishes, I still appreciate the effort she took in ensuring I had a good dining experience. She even guided me on what the side dishes were and how best to eat them.<br/><br/>Service is 5/5<br/><br/>For my first visit, I ordered the ‘Jjamppong’, which is a bowl of spicy seafood soup. The broth though spicy is very refreshing and light. The broth is not at all fishy and is extremely delicious. The soup contains generous amounts of shrimps, mussels, squid and crabs along-with shiitake mushrooms, cabbage and capsicum. All of this sits on a bed of wonderfully Al Dente noodles. This dish is served piping hot and gets 5/5<br/><br/>Along with the soup is served four complimentary dishes. They are Kimchi, fish cakes, Korean spinach and pickled radishes.<br/><br/>We also ordered the ‘Yukgea Jang’, which is a hearty spicy beef soup made with shredded beef brisket, tons of scallions, beansprouts, radishes, scrambled eggs and “gosari’ which is a fern stem that I’m trying for the first time. The soup is served piping hot and has great depth of flavour. The soup is beefy, nutty and earthy in taste.The soup is extremely satisfying and not in the least bit heavy on the stomach. I had the spicy version and completely enjoyed it. 5/5<br/><br/>Update:<br/><br/>Had to go back to try the Bibimbab<br/><br/>The dish comes pretty as a picture. I ordered the soup version where you get a lightly flavored beef broth soup on the side. It also comes with a sunny side egg on the top. <br/><br/>Once mixed the dish is truly delicious with a taste of rice, fresh vegetables and beef all coated in the egg makes for a taste explosion in your mouth. The dish also comes with Korean Chili sauce to increase the spice level, but I found that even generous amounts do little to add to the spice, but it does enhances the taste. 5/5<br/>Two thumbs up and worth many many repeat visits.<br/><br/>Update:<br/><br/>Went back to treat a cold and runny nose with some spicy seafood soup. <br/><br/>I also tried the Nyeom, which is boneless chicken in sweet and spicy sauce. The 1/2 portion is huge in itself and is quite generous as far as portion size is concerned.. <br/><br/>The chicken though flavorful lacked any spice at all and was mostly sticky sweet with no heat whatsoever. I am really beginning to question what the Koreans consider as spicy. <br/><br/>The chicken 3.5 / 5

This year my fiancé decided to celebrate my birthday in one of our favorite restaurants, Hankook! We really enjoyed the food and everything about the restaurant; their staffs were so accommodating, their food is always tasty and delicious, their private room is clean and will really give you privacy.<br/><br/>Really happy to rent this restaurant as a venue for my last birthday as single! kamsahamnida Hankook!

I’ve been visiting this restaurant for about 5 years, best food and best service, the staff are very friendly and welcoming! I get AED 50 off on my bill from time to time, which is very good. I just wish if they could offer delivery service on Zomato

Authentic Korean restaurant. I always bring my friends here and they love the ambiance , the food it is very tasty and flavourful. My favorite food are kimbap,potato pancake, jajang meuon, chicken sweet and spicy (taste like bonchon ) and so gal bi . their kimchi is authentic and the side dishes? It is very awesome! They have 4 kinds of side dishes you can order without any penny and free rice too!😅 ( sometimes no seats available especially on weekends so you better make a reservation if you'd like to visit on weekends.

Went out with my friends to have Korean Food so we decided to try Hankook Korean Restaurant. Our cravings were immensely satisfied by their good food. I would definitely come back, specially for the Jajangmyeon and Cheese Tteokbokki.

One of the finest Korean restaurants in Abu Dhabi we must admit. Not very pricey and the ambiance is calm and peaceful to enjoy a perfect weekend meal.<br/><br/>Went here on a weekend and i must say they totally had us by the end of the day. We ordered their Yuk-Gea Jang which comes out to serving in a hot pot. Really spicy but delicious and there was enough quantity for 3-4 people. Then came the Kimichi Kalbi zi-ge which was a plate of noodles to which they give you additional toppings like sausage, meat and other vegetables hence you eat make it your own meal according to your flavors. It was something really different and is a must try.<br/><br/>Yang Nyeom Chicken and Chicken Pulgoki stole the show during our visit as they had a perfect proportion of seasoning and flavor. Cabbage Kimichi and Radish Kimichi was also part of our order however the taste was just average but a good try if you are trying Korean Food for the first time.<br/><br/>Staff here are really friendly and nice as they helped us cope up with the order and suggested us dishes according to our tastes. Probably one of the finest Korean restaurants in UAE. Quality , taste and portions are what you expect from this price bracket. A family friendly atmosphere. All the dishes can be customised to your taste. Even vegetarians can enjoy certain foods. I absolutely loved the flavour of all the dishes we ordered . There is also some twisty dishes along with authentic ones to accommodate a variety of demographics. A brilliant restaurant well worth for your time and money. A must try !!

Very impolite staff. Overpriced dishes though delicious. We wanted a private room for 4 persons but that lady said very impossible..so? Just coz we are 4 we cannot have a private room? You should have posted the minimum quantity of persons to avail that room. But to glare at me is a NO NO! Im still a customer.

This place is located in al nahyan. The prices are really affordable. I went with my colleague and loved the private seating. I am not a big fan of Asian food but I loved their dishes. Everything was arranged in a traditional way which I think was cute. I recommend their noddles.

If you want the worst korean food in UAE ever. Come to this place. They have private rooms. I am korean. I sat in private room. I even heard Emirati ladies in the other room saying "This is the worst korean food ever", in Korean. Me and my wife (i am korean), did not eat anything and asked for the check. Some korean fat dude at the cash register said "Thank you!" as we walked out. Not thanks dude. Stop watching tv. Ur food is gross.

I was around and searched for a nearby Korean food. This was the best Korean food I ever had! It’s a small place but have a good area for groups. It looks so simple yet everything is perfect. For sure going with friends next time.

OMG, speaking of korean food, I am a fan of their cuisine, i can called it also my ''home'' samgyupsal was superb, Even i am at my home town i used to have this thrice a month it was unlimitted with a free korean popsicle which was really tasty 🤤 but then, I used to go here as i only knew this place and it was nearby to mE as well but the portion was not suit in the price. It is expensive tho.. for that im visiting once in awhile.

Im sorry i wasn’t able to get the name of the Filipina girl who helped/served us tonight. I forgot to check her name tag bec i was so excited with all the foods in front of me. She was so beautiful btw and tall like a model. She was very helpful when I don’t know what to do with the stove. The order was quick and wow the food is amazing. I will definitely comeback to try some more and try the other food i am seeing on korean tv😁. The place is clean, small but cozy. But really, the food. I can’t help but exaggerate. I am so full right now but i still want to eat the duk boki and so galbi. This is a great place for korean BBQ, and it has private dining rooms where you can enjoy grilling your own food. Their ramen is a must try also. This restaurant is open even on Ramadan.

My first time trying out Korean BBQ and I was not disappointed. I had mixed feelings before I opened my heart and tummy to a totally new cuisine and now I can't wait to go back for more.<br/><br/>What we tried: <br/>Kimchi Kalbi Jeongol Hot Pot -  which was least favourite as it had more kimchi and very little beef rib <br/>La Gal Bi BBQ - Beef in sweet soy sauce which was the best of all and is a must try<br/>Su Jeong Gwa - I love iced teas and this Korean ginger iced tea is a favourite<br/>Prawn Tempura - very different batter compared to Japanese style and it's really good<br/><br/>The mains come with unlimited sides and the portions are quite large so the prices are justified. Interior is not that great, it'll give you a cheap cafeteria feeling. Service is slow too. They are usually very full so it's better to reserve especially the family room.

Lovely place and delicious Korean food. It was my first time to try Korean food and I was suprised with the delicious flavours their traditional cuisine has. The soup was great, and I loved all appetizers. The sushi might not be the best in town but it was good and I don't mind coming back here again.

Perfect place to spend some quality time with your family, friends and loved-ones. The food served are delicious. I loved the beef marinated in sweet soy and the gimbap. I also like the side dishes and the soup. The bill-out took longer than expected.

I guess this deserves a review since we’ve been here for countless of times. This place never fails to satisfy us. Yes, we have tried other Korean restaurants and this is our favorite. Not because other places are not good but Hankook has it all. Let me detailed them. Parking is very convenient because there is just right in front. Not really sure on busy times but we normally go there on busy hours and still getting the perfect space to park. Staffs are very attentive and friendly. The interior is okay but you’ll have more the Korean feeling if you dine in their private room. Better to call to have it reserved because it’s usually easy to fully occupied. Prices are reasonable and for me the amount of food they serve is always satisfying for 2 to 3 per person. We always have their Dopokki, my husbands favorite, Bulggogi and So Galbi our all time favorite. Bibimbap and Ramen. Banchan are always being replenished just let them know. We normally eat here as 4 pax plus a toddle and I am the only lady. It maybe depends on how big your appetite is. :) Well, thats all for my long comment :D and see you again Hankook! Keep it up

It was for the first time that me and my friends was trying korean cuisine and we really enjoyed it, They got the traditional private dining areas (booking ahead recommended if looking for the private rooms) The staffs were very accommodating and friendly. It is a different experience as a whole and definitely recommend .We tried Chicken Ramen, So Gal Bi ( Beef grilled ) , Sweet and spicy chicken , Tempura shrimps along with unlimited sides.The quantities are large enough to feed 3-4 people and to put an end we had the Korean Herbal green tea pot .

The second Korean restaurant I visited in AD. Just like the last one, they also had friendly staff and private seating arrangement. The food was great. The service was fast and you must try their ginseng tea.

Since I am craving for a good authentic korean food for quite sometime now. I invited a friend to Han Kook For dinner. We had the Steamed Spicy Beef Ribs with Vegetables which i like since it has pineapple on it that adds kick on it and it’s not that extra spicy. The DolSot BibimBab (which i always order everytime i go in a korean restaurant), Sweet Spicy Chicken, Duk Boki (Pan-Broiled Rice Cake) refresh my taste buds in a true korean cuisine. The serving portion is so good that 1 order can be shared by 2 so having this 4 orders for us is an overkill but in a good way. I need to come back again to try the other items in the menu. Craving good authentic korean food? Then this is the place you should be at.  This is one of the very few korean restaurant that serves authentic korean cuisine. <br/>The food is made fresh and served hot and delicious. <br/>We tried their Chicken Ramen Noodles which was super good I totally recommend this dish. The quantity was good for 2 people although its a plate for one. The ramen comes with 6 different sides which includes the Korean special kimchi which was great because we were gonna order it separately. The kimchi along with Ramen was absolutely delicious. <br/>They also have private dining area with seating on the floor like they do in Korea, they have got the traditional koran ambiance around the restaurant. Its a fun experience trying this. Loved our time here. Great Restaurant.

Definitely recommend the food here. It was my first time trying Korean cuisine and I was really pleased with my meal. We had the grilled beef ribs (which I give a whopping 9/10), seafood noodles and the mushroom glass noodles. The spread was quite impressive. Rice, kimchi, lettuce and sauces are served alongside.

I went there for lunch and I have to say I was hesitant when I saw the restaurant from the outside. The decor inside could use a little work.<br/>We had seafood ramen which was ok nothing waw. But i really did enjoy the korean barbecue snd the staff was really nice, portions are good.

This is my first time to visit this place. A short walk from Al wahda mall crossing a traffic light, pass 1 block and hello Hankook. The waitress are very attentive, and they gave us more kimchi but of course you need to finished the side dishes, taking it out is not allowed. I loved the bibimbap as always. Especially the spicy sweet stir fried chicken, we ordered half but the serving is quiet large so we took it out. This is the place to visit in Abu Dhabi! <br/><br/>A great resto to experience Korean dining, from sitting in the floor to eating authentic Korean food. <br/><br/>My personal fave is the Bulgogi! This place is star studded with different nationalities craving for authentic korean dishes. Every penny is worth it here! You better call in advance to reserve a seat since walk ins come in groups so expect a long queue. Their spicy noodles with fish and rice cake is a must try! Will definitely go back here.

I went here around my birthday, and was able to use Hankook’s for a free meal. I’ve visited Hankook before, and have no complaints. Just simple, homemade Korean food! They are generous with appetisers and I especially enjoy their bibimbap.

Good Korean food. You have to really choose prudently according to the taste of your pallete. I really liked the noodles with sea food and vegetables. Chicken with capsicum,mushrooms was really sweet. a little expensive if u don't have entertainer app. Good and patient staff. ambience is not bad

The best choice in the winter. My son love The Seafood Fried Noodle and we chose Yuk Gae Jang and Kimchi Kalbi ZiGe. If we hungry enough, we will add their Dolsot Bimbibap for sure... <br/><br/>

The food was ok, not very impressive, but sushi taste good and the others Korean salads also.<br/><br/>I am not sure if I would like to go again, maybe to try some soups or noodles, maybe...<br/><br/>They have different discounts and The Entertainer is applicable there, which is a good thing.

I had veg soup, kimchi bukumbab with geran-Mari (egg rolls) & Korean green tea. The seating, ambience & service are a different experience altogether. I went there for lunch with wife during happy hours on a weekday when there was discount.

been here couple of times and it fulfilled my korean satisfaction. little bit costly but over all we enjoyed the food. will surely come back again 🇰🇷

Hmmm, ive been here 4 times, as this is the only korean restaurant i know, until i heard there is one good restaurant in mazdar, im not very familiar with korean food but i know how my bibimbap should taste, not the best i had, its lacking of something or maybe i just had better one outside the country, this is also a bit pricey for the food and service they give. i dont think i would comeback since there are better restaurants now, Like red castle? :)

Hankook Korean Restaurant is located Beside Center Villa Hotel, Opposite Central Bus Station, Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi. . It’s my first time to eat in Hankook Restaurant and it was the best Korean Food ever! I love the Chicken Spicy and Kimchi. i enjoy every piece. I’m like a Korean superstar eating a delicious Korean Food.

Korean experience near Al Wahda bus station just cross on the side of Defense Rd. Great spicy beef which you can grill by yourself. Lots of soup and noodle choices. You can choose to seat on the private cubicles. Not too pricey and worth a try.

Guys if you are looking for the best korean food in town, this is it!!! I love their food!!!!!! It’s the first time that I have tried and tasted korean food and it really exceeded my expectations. Customer service is also amazing! <br/><br/>Tip: it’s best if you book a room in advance using Zomato app so you won’t be waiting for your turn when you arrive at the restaurant. And also, cook the food yourselves rather than ordering cooked food already. You will absolutely enjoy it. You can get help if you don’t know how to do it and they will assist you right away. <br/><br/>I would recommend this to everyone.<br/><br/>

We were looking forward to try Korean cuisine and this restaurant was our choice. It didn't disapoint! The place is very simple but cosy and the staff is really friendly. We chose Korean BBQ, noodles and kimchi soup and everything was good, though the soup was my favourite. I recommend!

To my delight, it exceeded my expectations. Amongst all other korean restos that I’ve been to, this tastes superb and authentic korean!

We have ordered dolsot bibimbap, kimchi pot stew, jab chea, seafood pancake and kun mandoo. The food is good as i remembered it. <br/><br/>You can buy Kimchi from them also.

Good and simple place with many private rooms which is good for birthday parties but needs some more entertaining settings (videoke for example) and more ventilation<br/>Food is good with offer of cooking in the place<br/>Staff was good and had enough patience to serve with us😄

Brilliant food. Very genuine Korean and tasty. The hot pot and the fried dumplings were very well cooked. The place was busy and the wait was long. The setting is very basic but the food makes up for it.

This is my 3rd time now here in Hankook Korean Restaurant, Its my friend birthday and we are craving for korean foods so we end up here<br/><br/>First thing I love in korean Restaurant they have Private Room where we can just sit and bond together while waiting for our foods.Even the restaurant is not that spacious and quite old.<br/><br/>Regarding the staffs they are accommodating to us they are very attentive 👌🏻<br/><br/>We ordered the So Gal Bi its a korean BBQ that is boneless beef short ribs with sweet soy sauce , also we tried the Kimchi Stew that is really nice also I love the little spice that in the soup. Didn’t quite understand the great reviews about this place. Ventilation was poor (we walked out smelling like the kitchen) even though we didn’t order the bbq. It did smell delicious though! Not too many options for vegetarian so I wouldn’t suggest for non meat eaters.. the food was average, a little bland. We have tried better in other places in Abu Dhabi.

Jjajang noodle smells strange water. And just too little noodle. Compared to madang restaurant it was very disappointing honestly. I will never visit here ever again

The best barbeque and the best chap chae. the staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They also have fast service that will not let you wait for a very long time.

Excellent korean Restaurant. Authentische food, friendly staff, good prize. Bulgogi very tasty, Mul padchon also. I have been there several times and IT was always same quality. I can recommend very much
