I loved the place, food is more than delicious, big portions and cooked with love and care. Perfect place for families where kids can play upstairs and taken care off while Moms and Dads have some quality time together or with friends with no worries.
We had the best iftaar here; all aspects the staff, food and children's room were AMAZING. The lamb melted in my mouth. We look forward to our Eid lunch ay 1868. ISA

I ordered latte and beef burger in the restaurant. i found it amazing but it was pricey. The manager approach me in a very polite and professional.He ask me regarding the feedback of what I ate. I was also offered by his kindness to have a 1 free artclass for my daughter.
It was a lovely visit with a friendly staff.
I will recomend it to my company staff.

I like the environment of that cafe. The workers are very friendly and the food is great. Definitely i would come back again. I hope that the prices get low little bit and the coffee quality improve.
The staff is friendly. There are some painting. The food is good. We ordered seven spicied roasted chicken and lobster linguine pasta. Enough for two person.
Excellent food selection, proper short ribs with crispy sides and soft juicy meat, not over sweetened by bbq sauce which is just perfect!
The risotto is soft, well cooked, saucy and pleasant taste !
I actually haven't visited the restaurant yet, however, we have ordered breakfast from here multiple times!
The presentation of the breakfasts on delivery was better than I've ever seen!
My favourite 2 breakfasts that I order over and over again are the Emirati Breakfast and the...well honestly I can't remember what it's called but it was made with chia seeds, oats, fruits, honey, and nuts! They are both sooo tasty!
The prices are reasonable and the service of the restaurant is great! The delivery men are always so happy and attentive.
We had one occasion that the presentation of the food came badly, and the restaurant straight away made a new portion and had it delivered to us without charge! How amazing!
I look forward to visiting the branch for some more delicious food.

When you visit the place you can see how they showcase art in a different form – in a more upfront way , literally breathing life into the whole room. You can chose a variety of books to read from – a true heaven for art lovers and a beautiful place to dine in. We visited during lunch hours , we started it off by trying they’re Taco Nachos which is crispy tortilla chips and loaded with spiced ground beef along with cheddar cheese tomatoes jalapeños and guacamole. These layer toppings with the chips make it the perfect nachos.

A place for good food, music and art. In ideal location which makes it easy to spot the business. Clean and customer friendly service. They also do workshops for creative activities such as clay, wooden or metal crafts.

The staff are great at accommodating requests. Salome ensured that we had a great experience with them, and is one of the main reasons we would come back. 1868 is one of the few great places in Abu Dhabi where you hang out for a good read, as well. Plus, they have lots of original wall art hanging on display for purchase.

Some very unique and original in-house-developed recipes never disappoint, and the beautiful artistic ambiance and family friendly atmosphere make for a very happy and unparalleled dining experience. I've been to this place a couple of times, it's not too bad, empty usually, so it's good for people who don't like crowded places like myself.

The pancakes are way overpriced for what they are, they're just pancakes, nothing special about them.
The nachos were pretty good, I would suggest serving deconstructed dish so the tortilla chips won't be soggy.
The karak wasn't that great, and half of it was spilled even though I can see the attempt to package it well.
I asked for the side bread which I didn't get, I think they only deliver that with pasta. The bread is very very good.
Very good Falafel wraps, however it is a bit dry, should be more juicy, could use tahini sauce instead of humus. I will definitely order again.
So, I ordered an Emirati breakfast, as well as a slice of cheesecake. Friendly and fast service. I had no idea what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised. It was a good variety of food, so I could sample various items. I think it's best to share it between 2 people, as it's pretty much just carbs and it's a large portion. I'd describe it as a sweet, with some jeera and zaatar and other herbs here and there. I think the cream cheese made a great addition. The cheesecake is baked to perfection, with a delicious topping!

This resturant is not an Emirate resturant, but i always order the Emirate breakfast from them when am craving it . The great thing about this specific order is that they add a bit from everything . So you'll get the chance yo try balaleet/chbab/khameer/khabees/lugaimat and rgag, All in one platter. The packaging also is nice click for take away BF. Loved it .
So It was a bright sunny day and me and husband thought of dropping by this restaurant to have lunch. Starting from the ambiance. The place is dreamy and takes you back to 18th century. It has a book gallery an arts workshop and nursery for kids.
I was given a detailed tour of restaurant for this by one of the staff members. No doubt that the staff was very courteous.
As far as food is concerned. It was very tasty. We were served complimentary Arabic bread and pickle. For food we ordered crispy chicken salad and teriyaki chicken skewers. Both dishes were fresh and flavorful.

Good quality restaurant, I love their decor and the outdoor sitting area for winter lunches. Their set menus are good value for money and the food is tasty and good quality. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Good choice in Khalifa city
Went with my friends for breakfast ,,, our order was Turkish eggs,,, eggs with qawerma,, meat manakeesh and karak tea... I have to say decorations was on point and they have a book room where you can read and have food too.. overall food was average but the karak to die for.
Very cozy and descent place good ambience outdoor and indoor option could be more lively with a good music may be, food was good as well. Overall i enjoyed my first time in this place :)
Food was unbelievably GOOD!!! And it the service was amazing and the best part that food was on my table in no time. I ordered the chicken pasta and the black lentil soup. Strongly recommended.

Looking for an amazing decor with an interesting Ancient Arabian outlook ,then this place should be your next hop in for lunch or dinner . The decor was filled with innovation and creativity to the topmost peak ! It deserves a 5 on 5 for its interiors but I wish I could say the same for the food .
We were a bit confused on what to be ordered and the waitress seemed as confused as us !
After a good view at the menu we opted for the cheese manakish , the musakhan roll and the tawook .
The cheese manakish wasn't something I would recommend anyone to have from here Cz of the fact that I have had better manakish's from other places . Then the two other dishes that came made the disappointment of the previous dish a little lesser .
The tawook was indeed splendid with the proper amount of spices and flavours served in a unique traditional style with spicy khubus !
The mushakhan roll was something I was having for the first time ! It had a very unusual taste which was fascinating to have very well served with sautéed onions in a Turkish pot !
All in all we had a very enthralling experience and would definitely recommend for a one time visit

Ordered the chicken pizza. It arrived very fast and loved the presentation of the pizza. Neat box and crust is so thin and good. But they've added some sort of seeds could be fennel or anise, it feels like your chewing on sand. Make sure you ask them to remove them off the toppings!
Good food, helpful and very kind staff. Had some trouble finding the place because i was looking for the numbers 1868. Enjoyed the outdoor seating. Will go back there with friends. Hope they decrease the prices of the dessert menu. People will opt to have dessert there rather than go to the fresh kunafa place right next door

Today I had the best experience at eighteen sixty eight. Best place for small and big gatherings. It is a place where you can enjoy your food and your friends with soft music in the background unlike other places where you can't hear ppl with you on the table. The food is delicious, plenty of choices. I have loved the chicken quinoa salad, perfect do lunch. The staff are very friendly and the place is very artistic can nourish your soul in addition to your tummy:)

One of my favorite places in abu dhabi. Cozy, friendly and beautiful atmosphere. Food is great, decoration is amazing, and staff is professional and warm. The kids area is safe and the art area is inspirational.

Our lovely new local joint. They make a pretty good coffee. Service is their winning point and food is simple and casual. Chilled atmosphere and comfortable setting.
the food was okay and the service was good and friendly staff and manager. I might go back next time I pass by that area. they have many parking spaces also near it.
I recommend this place I had very fresh Iftar like homemade food which remind me of my mother's food , my son 6 years old spent his time in the upper floor with the art teacher and had meal upstairs and glass painting class while I'm enjoying my Iftar with my friends .. will definitely come back soon
We've been touched with the photos of the resturant, so we decided to give it a try. We had our iftar yesterday, and it was "thumbs up". Warm welcoming by owner herself and the manager, Food was very good with various sweets and drinks. There is a play area for kids supervised by nanies and we got a confirmation from the manager that all food is fresh and anyone can check himself. Decoration is very nice and detailed.
For me, would go again for a 2 hours linner in a nice/ comfortable restu.
