Good place for Mangalorean food lovers. Their Kori pundi(a Mangalore special) is excellent. Sad thing is currently it is not available. I am waiting for Kori pundi to be started again.
Ordered the butter chicken and Mutton Harra Masala. Both had an expectionally good quantity and tasted quite good and suited our taste. Delivery took a bit of a time and the driver couldn't identify the exact location as compared to the other food outlets when ordered.
We also Ordered some butter Naan and chapatti along with the gravy dishes and these came in hot and fresh.
Will definitely order again but hopefully the order will be delivered on time and to the exact location.
I order chicken tandoori regularly.its very tasty, but the delivery time is too much that why the tandoori become cold always. Koriroti is one of the signature dish of this restaurant.

We have been here a few times and love the food ,very affordable price and their lunch is excellent for jus 10 Aed ,staff is alright to ,being a manglorean the kori roti is a must try with the chicken gravy ,the chicken sukka is not bad too , one of its biggest drawbacks is it ambience which can be much better as compared to the other restaurants ,however they make it up with the food quality and quantity ,if ambience doesnt matter and just the food matters then a definite must try ...
Amazing food. A Really Calm and Composed Environment. Improved customer service and friendly staff. Good food portions. Great place for going out with family and friends all in all a great place to grab a bite and catch up with friends. Would Recommend for sure.
Food was little extra oily
After long time I had my favourite kori Roti it was fantastic experience. Thank you guys for the good food n service. I will be definitely coming back to enjoy the kori pundi n marawi Sukka.

Had gone with my 10 friends including kids. Good food. But only 1 order taker we could see. He took almost 15 mins to take our food order . Kind of unorganized staff.
Starters was served first and after 4 mins cutlery was given.

Good and pocket friendly menu, serves delicious north Indian and Chinese food. One must try their Chinese and tandoori item. Pure and well cooked in charcoaled oven.
I have ordered online several times from here and they delivered on time for each order.
Veg and Nonveg both have indian taste, exact spicy which i want.
Chinese is also good.
The food was amazing and very big portions too. Yes, it was busy the night I visited, but that's understandable with their reputation and quality of the food and service.
The whole experience started from making the reservation over the phone! The place was humming, which is testament to what a great place it is. Staff is fantastic. Food is equally fantastic.

Never have been disappointed by this restaurant. Amazing manglorean cuisine. The taste reminds me of the authentic mangalore food. Every dish that i have ordered leaves a good taste in my mouth. Small place but great indian, chinese and mangalore cuisines available.
A majority of the food at Canopy can be summed up in one word - average. Despite this, I've eaten from this restaurant more times than I can count. The reason? I'm absolutely in love with their mutton chilly fry, which is what I order every single time.
It's hard to describe the incredibleness of this dish. It's tasty beyond belief and is a great accompaniment to chapathis. I'm fairly certain that I'm responsible for half its sales. It is quite spicy (as the name suggests) and somewhat oily though.
I have tried a few other dishes too such as khichdi, naan etc. but none of them are half as amazing or all that good (hence the slightly lower rating). Really, the mutton chilly fry is all I eat from here. I would however recommend that you don't try it out, because there is a high possibility of getting addicted. It's too late for me, but you still have the chance to save yourselves.
The price is also cheap and delivery is prompt.

Good range of dishes, I'd prefer more spice in my Indian cuisine and I felt it was a little lacking here. For a vegetarian place however I'm keen to try it again and maybe I'll remind them to add more spice (maybe seeing a western name in the order meant they dailed back the heat a bit....) to be updated.
As a tourist to AbuDhabi ordered home delivery. Fried rice was decent although not extra-ordinary and delivery was prompt. Can pay a visit !
The food is really really good even though the restaurant has a weird location. I literally order food from here atleast 4 times a week when I'm not in the mood to cook. Delivery is super fast!!!!

mutton stuff biriyani, fish goan curry, prawn goan curry are really good. Quantity is also more. good value for money. My favourite is Mutton Stuff biriyani and delivery is also very quick.
One creepy restaurant for its ambiance and looks. But the food is good. Do go on a Friday as they have special mangalorean dishes. I personally love the kori rotti with endless top ups of yummy chicken curry. They do have privacy cabinets upstairs but as I said ambiance is poor. Staff are average. U see the same guy with a clumsy face over and over forever. Thali's for lunch are also recommendable.

Delicious homely food-that's the best way to describe the restaurant.I was so happy to find kori rotti ( a mangalore speciality) in their menu.Its good that a place like this has separate cabins upstairs for family.We thoroughly enjoyed our meal a lot.Starting with chicken tandoori followed by chapathi,naan,chicken ragini and prawns chilly fry.The prawns chilly fry was hands down the best dish! It was soo yummy we literally licked our spoons and so was the chicken ragini which was boneless chicken pieces in a gravy similar to paneer butter masala's.These two are definitely a must try!
The chicken tandoori was good but not the best that i have had.I loved the naan a lot..it was soft and not chewy like we usually get elsewhere.The chapathis were small though.
The menu is definitely pocket friendly.
The only negative i found was that it was vv difficult to get hold of the servers especially since we were in the cabin and i really wish they had deserts in their menu,atleast a gulab jamun or ice cream.
Ordered fish chilly and chapati...the taste was good and they prepared it as I had mentioned a special note to be prepared with less oily....awesome delivery service and gold tasty food.one thing the quantity of fish should have been more than the coating used...

This is one of the best restaurant for mid budget people..don't expect to much hygiene but good testy food...the customer service is also satisfactory...

I never visited the restaurant usually order the food for delivery and never got disappointed with service, quality and quantity of food. Some of my favorite dishes are dal khichdi, veg hariyali kofta, kadai paneer, tandoori chicken. And one of the best thing is even I ordered minimum amount of 10dhs, I never heard no from them.

The restaurant looks average BUT the food is absolute delight ! The veg shezwan finger dry is the best. The food is very homely and delicious. We make it s point to visit it once at least every week. The green veg kofta is also a must try. For people who love spicy food try the chicken angara. The staff is very friendly and service is also good. Would recommend this for the good food and value for money.
Quality of the food and its price is unbeatable.. Their panner is extremely soft , do try their paneer dishes. Best place to eat wen ur budget is low .😊
I recently had a home delivery done from here after hearing so much about it from my colleagues.
So I ordered the chicken fried rice and chicken manchurian and it was amazing! So delicious....felt like a home cooked meal.

This is popular budget joint behind Maria Mall, the neighborhood is filled with all budget Indian restaurant like Anand, Ruchi, Masala Magic etc.
I simply love all their Khichdis whether its Dal, Palak or Masala. If you ask me to rate best among three, I will vote for Masala Khichdi. The proportion of spices, dal and rice is so perfect that even thought of this wakes up the taste buds. The portion is generous and more then enough to feed only hungry adult. I usually order the food for delivery and its quick, the food delivered is always hot. Once I visited the restaurant but getting parking during daytime is very difficult in surrounding area. Overall a good food joint for everyday eating, however I have not tried many items, so my authority to rate the restaurant is limited.

Delicious food. Delivery time is mostly punctual. Dal Makhani and Masala Khichdi are must try also Aloo Paratha and Gobi are good for breakfast.

A small restaurant that will definitely fill your stomach with delicious and spicy food..really affordable...the mixed basket and butter chicken are my favorites...and for the rice u must try the chicken Tikka biryani.. It's mouth watering :D..thier American chicken chopsuey is just amazing .. Again a must try... And for breakfast thier ghee dosa is delicious..overall it's a super place to dine :) ambiance may not be upto the mark..the food will cover it up :D.

Good food and easy on my pocket. That just about defines this place for me. It's just been 4 months since I've started ordering from here (twice a week) and cannot remember a single time where I was disappointed/dissatisfied. It has nothing over the top about it but it's total value for money.

This place has been my favorite for typical mangalorian food. If you belong from mangalore or are somehow fond of their style of cooking then this is the best place to try out. Their mangalore special menu is only available on Thursdays and Fridays so if you're planning to head out to this restaurant then make sure you don't take your car along because finding a parking in that area could be a big headache and also make sure you dont arrive late to this place, since the family seating area is very limited and waiting in a restaurant is always awkward and brings in a negative mood. As far the food is concerned, I haven't had any issues as such with them. i absolutely love their Kori Rotti (Mangalorian dish) and their Veg Crispy as starters. In short if i had to give this place a tagline i would go with "cheap and best". Just a few issues here and there regarding the parking and seating area available. Rest all is more than good, even their staff members aren't rude as such. They will help you choose the best possible food that suits your taste just in case you are a bit hesitant.
In short, Don't be disappointed by the small area and cheap price. This place is very much more worth than it. Perfect for a small family outing anyday and if you're a bachelor then why not try something Mangalorian next time? ;)
I have a complete different view of this place from the one that is written by another reviewer. Canopy has been the way it is since the 7 years i have been taking home or visiting the place. Small / not so congested but great in taste and value for money. The people who make this place called canopy are real ordinary people who know what a hungry man desires, which is Good Food and they deliver hands down on that. Try the Crab masala ( if u r in for some real spicy treat ), or go for the butter chicken or chicken tikka. The most popular veg or non veg thali is just apt for the daily customer, giving him taste at a reasonable price. Their chapattis ( Flat Indian Bread ) worth a mention are bailed to the perfect thickness ( u'll know if u r a regular chapatti eater ) are absolutely fine and fresh.
