but because reviews must be at least 50 words in characters, I'll also add : friendly staff, great views , cheesy French music, amazing menu.
Expensive but worth it !
I had lunch here with my best friend before she leaves Abu Dhabi. We wanted to go somewhere special as it will be a long time before we see each other again and this restaurant was recommended by several people.
Brasserie Flo did not disappoint! Attentive but discreet service, fabulous food, good choice of wine and great music to accompany a lovely dining experience! I will DEFINATELY be back!
All round top dining experience. Fantastic French Food, the tastes are so exquisite, presentation superb, location excellent.
Best of all the staff are so enthusiastic about delighting you with the food and drink. A genuine gem of a restaurant always feel very Welcome
Great meal and service! Everything was amazing, it's llike Paris but with friendly staff! Highly recommended! Go for the sole muniere and trio of deserts!
Great restaurant. We're eaten there several times. Food, service and setting consistently lovely. A hidden gem.
The new winter menu is stupendous.
You have to try the boeuf en croute, cpoked to perfection so it is tender pink and succulent.
The pavlova is light and crunchy on the outside and that right amount of chewiness on the inside.
All really very priced for the quality of the food
If you past by Abu Dabi, you must eat in this exceptional Brasserie!!!!
We had dinner at Brasserie Flo, the service was excellent and the food was exceptional. We will definitely be back.

We had the most fantastic dinner last weekend, the ambiance outside was lovely, the waiting team are extremely attentive and the food first class. A special touch, to be introduced to the chef and asked personally how we enjoyed our meal, our recommendation is definitely the French onion soup-on a par with what we've tried in Paris. You know it's going to be excellent, authentic French cuisine when the chef, waiters and other diners are French-We will definitely be back!
Had the most amazing dinner last night. Superb food and atmosphere. Every course was delicious, we just about made room for the divine complimentary chocolate mousse!

A restaurant with wonderful food and great Service!!!
I love it!!!
A decent place in a great location. We were able to sit outside and have the view of the canal and the bridges. We booked a large table for a birthday and was treated quite nicely.
Staff were able to accommodate our special requests and we all had a great time.
They have fresh oysters and large prawns as part of their brunch package. They were very fresh.
You can ask for special drinks and their bartenders will mix something nice for you.
Tried the Waffles and Crepes. Both of which were really good, I really liked and admired the plating and toppings. The ambiance at this place is lovely and when it's not too sunny, you can enjoy your breakfast outside by the grand canal. Also, the staff, in particular, is very friendly, warm and welcoming. They have a delicious and colorful selection of coffee too, one of which we tried, not only is it Instagrammable, it's tasty too. I'll definitely visit them again to try their Brunch Special!
Totally in love with the experience at the @venetianvillageabudhabi !

Lovely relaxed service and nice staff.
My wife and I both ordered the steak frite and were delighted with the taste and portion size.
While the place looks like a very upmarket French restaurant the menu and pricing is more in line with a Bistro (in a good way!)..so don't be intimidated and do visit.
Brasserie Flo, the popular French fine dining restaurant is a great place to treat your appetite with authentic French cuisine. Relaxed vibe, Satisfaction and bliss is what you get when you dine-in here. Not with much of the food twist or contemporary versions, the food here is fresh, delightful and original.
Abu Dhabi’s Venetian Village has become quite the dining destination. The Venetian inspired collection of restaurants situated on the grounds of the Ritz Carlton and close to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque may seem a little out of the way, but is so worth the effort. Each of the six concepts in the Venetian Gothic inspired ‘village,’ offer something different but all have one thing in common, the opportunity for al fresco dining overlooking the still water of Khor Al Maqta. You may not have the stunning mosque views that are a significant draw on the other side of the water but the fine dining options here are far superior. Whether it’s Indian (Punjab Grill), traditional Emirati (Al Fanr), Japanese (Inakaya), Mediterranean (Todd English’s Olives) or Asian-inspired food mixed with cocktails and some of the best shisha in the city (BarFly). The Venetian Village has it all.
Went there for a coffee and a dessert twice. Their outdoor seating area was nice specially in the good weather .. Their coffee was good. The creme brûlée was nice / there was another dessert which I can't remember the name with berries; the first time I tried I liked more than the second because they have changed it in the menus or changed they way they do it . ( pic) The second time I tried was more of a sorbet, was nice also but preferred the first one . The third choice was a date pudding .. it was very heavy and sweet
You are probably thinking that "ehhh...I am not really into French food... " Well let me stop you there. . Brasserie Flo in Abu Dhabi is not just French food.... it is thoughtfully crafted French food with Chef Sebatien at the helm. Chef is not your stereotypical idea of a French chef. His jovial personality and his passion for his customers are what makes 80% of the restaurant's clients regulars. He has traveled the world cooking and learning about food, having spent 14 years in California's Bay Area. There he worked in the Financial District of San Francisco and the kitchen of the famed Chez Panisse, before deciding to open his own French eatery in the very competitive Gourmet Ghetto of Berkeley. He eventually left the business to his partner when he headed for Spain with his family. After a few years of onward and upward, he landed here at the reigns of Brasserie Flo. And lets just say that Abu Dhabi is very lucky to have him.
We went there for lunch. their food and service were great!
We ordered snails for appetizer then we had the seared cod fillet and the soulard duck confit for mains! All dishes were fairly good.
Lovely french food experience and their outdoor seating is a bonus!
In few words I would describe this Restaurent as the best French Restaurent and many thanks to the Chef and Zlatko for excellent food and service. Good wishes.
Brasserie Flo is a traditional French brasserie that serves some of the best-known French dishes in relaxed and casual ambiance. Venue stands for a culinary tradition that dates to the 1960s when it was founded by Chef Jean-Paul Bucher in Paris. Today, Chef Bucher’s undeniable talent has seen his signature culinary style carried across borders. In Abu Dhabi it is located at a luxurious and beautiful location in Venetian Village along with other famous restaurants Barfly, Olives by Todd English, Punjab Grill and Inakaya.
Two days ago, I dined at Brasserie Flo to celebrate my sister's birthday and we had an amazing experience overall. The quality of food was excellent and very luxurious, and I think it's my favorite French restaurant in Abu Dhabi so far. The staff were very welcoming and the restaurant's interior was really nice.
Great food everything cooked to perfection and the service is one of the best and very friendly. From the seafood or steak there is nothing that can go wrong in your order. Also the chef is always around on the tables making sure everyone is enjoying the food.
Amazing service, good food and a beautiful view. We ordered the snails, chicken and sea bass with black risotto. All tasted good. The service was better than anywhere we have been recently, even the chef came to check on how we found the food.
If you are looking for a french restaurant in Abu Dhabi then Flo should be your first choice.
Let me start with the appetizers. I tried the "escargot" i.e. boiled snails and cooked in garlic and butter. No comment. I can't say I enjoyed them, but only because I kept imaging snails slithering slowly down my food pipe. Secondly the steak was well cooked but I had a few unchewable bites with lots of fat in it that I had to....get rid of them. The desserts however were out of this world! The creme brulee was perfect. PERFECT. And the profiteroles were divine. The pear millefeuille would not really be something I would order, but we still enjoyed it.
A very nice French restaurant. The food are really outstanding with staff are friendly and helpful. With their buy one main course get one free deal in entertainer, it is worth for a visit.
Excellent French restaurant at the capital! My fav dishes by far were the goat cheese pastry, spot on with the walnuts and dates with salad! And the Dover sole in style is simply divine. The only downfall is the seating Arrangment and the design of the place.
The business lunch menu is superb, I've been going there with my team couple of times and almost everything we tried is amazing. Also, they have really good coffee and desserts. Definitely worth trying
Lovely place, the chef is the coolest chef ever, the staff are lovely and knowledgable about the menu. The dish that I highly recommend is the Boeuf a la bourguignon , very tasty, the starters are not that special, the set up and location create a very romantic ambiance. I will definitely be back .
With its traditional French cuisine menu, this restaurant is really a hit for French people and for those who love authentic French food. Service is impeccable with great attention to details. Also, the view from the terrace is magnificent!
Brasserie Flo consistently serves exceptional dishes with great service and atmosphere.
I have tried several French restaurants in Abu Dhabi that charge double or triple Brasserie Flo rates, and are no where near the service and quality of food.
I am yet to try other dishes ! , so far the memorable ones are :
Terrine de Foie Gras
Tartare de Boeuf
Magret de Canard
#Brasserie Flo in Venetian Village you can experience excellent food, amazing service and great atmosphere. I recommend everyone visiting Abu Dhabi to enjoy this experience.
Beautiful scenery, the food is good but not as expected from a French restaurant! the steak tartare is yummy, prepared at the table with fresh ingredients. The steak is not up to the expectations, same for the French fries. Escargot provincal was not tasty at all. My Hight expectations were not met. The staff should know every single word in the menu, non of them has any idea what is "Eau De Vie de poire"!!
Great evening, beautiful scenery and great service. Oysters were fresh and tasty and the chateau briand was well prepared.
It might be a new restaurant but you only get a slight feeling of this during the dinner.
I will be back for sure
