The ambiance of the place is nice.... �� The first time we had our dinner boodle fight for two... It's awesome! Since we � love� and satisfied our first boodle fight we came back for breakfast and we had our bulalo!!! �� With the calamares and tried the wooden spoon best seller fried rice.., ��. The food is delicious and we are happy with their service with a �. It's a happy tummy indeed ��� thank you guys for a tasty food and keep up the good service.

My favorite Lumpiang Sariwa or Fresh Spring Roll is a Filipino vegetable dish composed of different vegetables with a soft (unfried) wrapper garnished with sweet sauce and crushed peanuts. Some popular variations of this dish are lumpiang ubod. and Vegetable stir fry Panlasang Pinoy. Stir-fries have come a long way from the dark brown-sauced, crunchy cauliflower, carrots more and vegetables are tender crisp. This gorgeous, luscious vegetable stir-fry will knock your socks off! Very delicious and good presentation of food...mouth watering that I feel like I'm home...Keep it up..Just always maintain the cleanliness of the restroom...But nevertheless all is great especially the unlidesserts..so love it������🖒�

Boneless bangus is dry, not well cooked as well. Your beef sisig is great though. Fresh lumpia doesn't look freshly prepared, the sauce compensates it. But we ordered the lumpia not the sauce so it needs a little improvement on this part. The ambience is great, unfortunately I haven't checked the comfort room. Hope it's clean with tissues and handwash or soap.

There are already so many Filipino restaurants popping up in the city but few stood out for me. This includes The Wooden Spoon. We tried their best seller bulalo and bistek sizzling meal. It is only 29 aed with one free ice tea and unlimited rice. That is totally a real cool deal, isn’t it? The staff is also very patient and accommodating. The place is also cozy. Going back to the food, i really though I won’t finish the big cup of rice but yeaaaahhhh it went down in my stomach within 12 minutes. Would definitely go back.👍🏼

Staff is very polite and nice but the food is good . It isn't spectacular and it isn't bad . Try sweet chilli chicken and Chilli chicken dynamite

Their information are misleading. They kept spamming your whatsapp everyday about their menu and delivery but when you call them it’s either they don’t have the item—or it’s past their delivery time already. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I've been here many times with my Indian friend and our favorite dish to order is "DAING NA BANGUS"....it's very crispy and tasty. They serve it with achara (atsara) which is my favorite,too...but I like the most on this restaurant is their service, all the servers are attentive and accommodating...they don't know how to close their mouth because most of the time they are smiling not only to us but to all their guest (customer)....😁 ...

I really like the sweet and spicy chicken, but now I ordered sweet and spicy chicken and the chicken is less and not the same taste like before. But it was a fast delivery.

This is my favorite filipino resto here in Abu Dhabi. Not just fast with delivering but their food is superb! Friendly and accommodating staffs too. I personally recommend their beef Kare kare and buko pandan for dessert! ❤️❤️

We celebrated the birthday of our friend although we are mean sometimes coz we kinda funny people...the attendant name luriz did a great service and so patient 360 awesome person.. Food is awesome and the service is really outstanding...we will comeback always.....

Love this place not only because they serve Filipino cuisine but the food is great as well! Tapsilog is my main fave here not to mentioned that their food is also affordable and pocket friendly!👍

Their Food is good and the price is very reasonable. <br/><br/>I always made an order every week so it sums up that I really enjoyed their food and besides that they dont charge for delivery which is very convenient. My favorite is their Laing, I always crave for that. :p <br/><br/>I haven't tried dining in so not sure about the restaurant ambiance. <br/><br/>Lastly, their staff is attentive and the delivery person is friendly. <br/><br/>-Sheena

I finally found a place that delivers Pancit!!! I ordered pancit and grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was covered with a sweet sauce that really tasted delicious and although the chicken was a bit hard but it still tasted good. The pancit was amazing! And their delivery was fast and efficient. Thank you Wooden Spoon!! 🙂🙂

i specially love the goto here, they also had the unlimited chicken wings that was nice gimmick too, the yema bread doesnt taste yema at all i was not able to finish it, the ramen, i would say they should just stay with the filipino food.

From the restaurant interiors to the excellent food. It is a restaurant every Filipino could be proud of. It is a great place to bring friends, as most of the food served is in the tradition of Filipino cuisine. <br/><br/>We ordered Binagoongan rice, Tapsilog and Sizzling Fried Tofu. <br/><br/>

Everytime I order here it doesn’t look and taste what it should be, it lacks the taste and ingredients. The only good thing about this is they deliver quick.

We visited the restaurant twice in a row. It has super friendly staff, nice food and a nice atmosphere. The staff is especially friendly and patient with kids. <br/>I can recommend the combo meals and the Beef Broccoli. We received free soup and free ice cream for the kids. We will definitely visit or order again.

Going by other reviews, it seems to be an alternating experience for people with regard to the food at this place. Ours was very different and positive. <br/><br/>We loved the food, it's presentation and taste. The staff were more cooperative and friendly than many other comparable places. Although a small team, they are attentive and service oriented.<br/><br/>Clean place with a peaceful ambience. Strong wifi connection. Quantity can be reviewed! Some dishes, although sumptuous, still keep you hungry at the end of it.

Good place, good ambiance. Very nice and accomodating staff. Even though they dont have enough staff to accomodate hungry people during lunch time still they can manage. Food wise its just typical food nothing bad to comment. But hands down to the staff very nice customer service.

After reading previous reviews, seems like Wooden Spoon is a hit and miss when it comes to food. Luckily, my friends and I were very pleased with laing and kare kare--both having been delectably rich and creamy. By far the most authentic filipino dish I have ever tried in a stand alone Filipino restaurant within Abu Dhabi. Not so sure about other dishes yet but these two are worth coming back for!

The service was pretty mediocre, there were no tissues on my table although there were several tissue holders on their counter, but never thought to being us one until i asked them. The food was average and lacked flavor, in my opinion. The only saving grace is the portion sizes and the reasonable prices.

For delivery. Coz never tried to dine. Food was fine but they never come on time. They always promise for 25-30 mins. Anyway its just a few blocks away from adm yet still coming after 1hour after ordering.

The food is so tasty and delicious however the food serving quantity is less than what was advertised. We have ordered sinigang na tanigue and expecting it will be an abundant soup with overflowing tanigue. But little time we know our order came and it was on a little soup container and the tanige is just two pcs. Compared to different filipino resto in the city which they are serving a lot more than what wooden spoon served us. Anyhow the staffs are very accommodating and the food is sumptuous.

It's a lazy saturday morning and we're hungry, so we went to Wooden Spoon Restaurant. As we enter the restaurant, pictures of filipino foods is printed in its walls but the ambiance is a fusion of modern, arabic and filipino touch. We ordered their seafood platter ( which is the main cover photo in their fb page), chicken sisig ( which was a-must-try in one of its customer review here in zomato), and chiken inasal which we were craving. Serving took some time as they were all freshly cooked. The taste? There's nothing special about it as i was expecting something awesome. Personally, i don't like their chicken inasal since it was visually appaling and the taste was so-so. Even their must-trys was just so-so to me. All their main course comes with a free rice. The price? Its average.<br/>With a lot of filipino restaurant that is opening now here in abudhabi, i would suggest that they should have a specialty cuisine that filipinos will go after that food.

I ate Paksiw na Bangus and for me, it was awesome! Not too sour with some sweetness, it was wonderfully different.  Soup, amount of rice, fresh juice, table setting, everything was just nice.  Place is clean, free wifi and with cable tv.  But most importantly, I was served by a Filipino attendant with a hotel-touch of service which is so commendable!

On the scale of 1 to 5. Ambiance 5. Service 4. Cost 5. Food quality 2.5  Food is OK but not great. Salpicao rice was a bit salty. I had high expectations with their bulalo but unfortunately it tasted like there is much flavor enhancer mixed with the soup. We do not use flavor enhancers back home (specifically vetsin/ monosodium glutamate & magic sarap)  so I will really notice when I'm eating something that has too much of it. But I hope I am wrong about this. Just avoid using too much flavor enhancer with your food because it takes away the original taste. Oh! Your LAING is delicious by the way!

Authentic Filipino food with reasonable price and good food as well. Ordered Kare-Kare (Ox stripe and beef in Peanut sauce), serving size was adequate for 2 people. The sauce it itself was viand on its own, sweet-nutty flavor complementing the tender meat. I also enjoyed the Chicken sisig -- moist, creamy and a little bit spicy, chicken bits were real and no extenders. We also ordered Pancit canton, soy garlicky taste with fresh veggies. Any order comes with a free soup , but it was not hot when served so I was not pleased with that. Staff are kind and will offer suggestions about the best-sellers but I must say the 1st two dishes I've mention is a must-try!

😡 ☝️ disappointed customer right here.. Will just keep mum as there were too many bad experiences in this restaurant. You need major improvement on your customer service, your food and above else, cleanliness! Please!

I was really a fan of wooden spoon before since its affordable but now i went again and they changed the setting were the dishes doesn't comes with a rice anymore and the taste is always changes everytime i come, its kinda disappointing. And still they haven't change their menu that says those dishes comes with rice

Wooden Spoon for the win!<br/>I had been craving for native vegetarian LAING for weeks until my cousin recommended this place for brunch in Abu Dhabi.<br/>The place is simple, functional and staff are prompt and yes, WiFi is available.<br/>We were welcomed with a bowl of pumpkin and parsley soup. Served hot and creamy while waiting for our picks.<br/>I tried LAING and asked to cook it my way, vegetarian all the way. I found it difficult to order this dish because its always precooked with non-veg ingredients like fish or seafood in so many restaurants.<br/>The size is great for sharing, the taste! Oh-lala!  I love it! Creamy, tasty and had that taste I am looking for. My family got Sinigang na Tanigue, which is interesting because it comes in 2 and a half portion, we even parcel the rest. We ordered Beef Kare Kare and Ginataang Kalabasa at sitaw (which comes with a cup of rice ) for take away too. <br/><br/>Great for sharing and group eat out! The price is reasonable. Really recommended! :)

I hate to write bad reviews but I hope this will help the management to pay attention to some minor details which are very important.<br/>1. When we entered, there was no staff at the counter. So we waited. Somebody arrived after 2-3 minutes and directly went on to assist the customers who were having their food already. The lady then went on to another counter to assist another customer. We were standing there clueless, as the table was not cleaned yet. The same lady then went on to get the bill and still we are standing. I had to ask which table shall we take as by that time two tables were lying dirty. Her response was, 'Whichever you want to take, Ma'am!'<br/>2. After standing there for more than 5 minutes, and taking an unclean table, I noticed the lady was taking orders from those who arrived after us. Until this time, no cleaner.<br/>3. Somehow she sensed my displeasure and sent a guy to clean our table. All good. When she arrived to take the order, her information was not helpful. So as default I ordered Pansit Canton, telling her that I will have another look at the menu.<br/>4. By this time, we noticed a cockroach(a big one for a change! About 2cms long) crawling up to the wall from the table we were sitting in.<br/>We had to cancel the order and leave the place.<br/>We felt there is either a shortage of staff or the only two staff seemed really unwelcoming or unwilling to work.<br/>2.5 points for the renovation and interiors!

wooden spoon is our newly found place along eletra st just opposite royal rose hotel. at the outside the place is quite old already but on the inside it was newly refurbished. their menu has much to choose from at a very affordable price. plating of the food is pleasant to the eyes and i can say the taste is awesome too. overall experience is 3/5.

We passed by this new restaurant last night and since they are offering Filipino and Chinese cuisine i gave it a try.<br/><br/>They mentioned they opened last September.<br/>The restaurant itself is well organized,have much space cozy seating cool lamps, camel statues and very attentive staffs, their manager is also welcoming and assisting customers and recommending the specialties in their menu.<br/>We ordered Singaporean beef noodles and bangsilog (deep-fried milkfish serve in fried rice & egg).<br/>taste, i could give 4 star.. very tasty <br/>Serving portions are good for sharing, well presented garnish (Instagram worthy)<br/>price is really affordable.<br/>they are offering boodle fight menu (6 pax and more) which we want to try next time with the squad.<br/>over all experience is very good. <br/><br/>Try to visit their restaurant and see for your self. With a new management ( filipino,I think),the place is much much better looking than the earlier run - down place.<br/>The menu is a mix of filipino and arabic quick eats. The chicken kebabs are good. So are the fruit juices. <br/>Will try once more before I actually make up my mind. <br/><br/><br/>
