Moti mahal one of best restaurant in Abudhabi.I often visit and oder food from there,i love kadahi paneer and veg plater and also tomato shorba ,As m vegetarian i tried all veg dishes and all are delicious you can try anything.

I visited motimahal deluxe few days ago. The restaurant staff was absolutely amazing starting from the time we made the reservation to asking to parking slots as it was past 9:30pm and we were struggling to get a paid parking around the area.<br/>Staff member Nitesh who was serving us helped us decide from plenty of amazing and mouth watering options.<br/>We ordered for boneless Nawabi Chicken Tikka marinated in youghurt & garlic along Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani and some tandoori roti.<br/>The food was served hot and fresh and taste was very authentic.<br/>The ambience was nice and classy too which adds up to the entire dinning experience.<br/>

This is my all time favorite place for indian food, the best of the best in AbuDhabi. Each time i eat at a different indian cuisine restaurant, i find it nothing nearly as delicious as plates in moti ;) <br/>

I have ordered for veg pulao, and got to speak with hotel to change the order to vegetable biryani, I have informed the hotel that will pay the difference , but the hotel team send me the vegetable biryani without extra cost - guess what team said when I informed that I will pay the money - we love to serve our customers- some respect 🙏🏻🙏🏻 thanks team

I have never been this dissapointed with Indian food as I was today evening. I felt like eating some good mutton and hence we ordered Mutton Biryani, Bhuna Ghosht, Rumali Rotis and Garlic Naan. <br/>I believed MotiMahal is a good chain and gave it a try. But the experience was so so bad. Please read full post to know how my dinner was ruined. <br/><br/>- The main course Bhuna Ghosht - If you have even a little idea about food you would know Bhuna recipe of mutton is NOT a fully tomato gravy and that is what I got. I was upset and decided to call the restaurant immediately. <br/>The staff on call was apologetic and said I will send you a replaced item ASAP. He said he will send a Kadai Mutton so I agreed to wait after starting my food with my naan going cold and hard. This was after me saying I want something spicy and not the Kashmiri Rogan Josh as that has a slightly sweet touch as well. <br/><br/>- When I went collected my revised item after 20 mins. I also returned the first one they sent as well. However to my surprise and absolute anger the revised dish sent was THE SAME. Ditto. Please see both my pictures and caption you will know. <br/>Plus there was not taste difference either and we both eating were amazed. <br/><br/>This was just really horrible customer service after making someone who simply wanted to eat a good mutton dinner and that too post waiting for the correct food. I am not sure what they thought or that they did not pay attention and just sent what they had. <br/>CONCLUSION : Either their actual chef was on leave or they serve the same exact gravy and sell for all mutton items. But my total order was around AED 113 and definitely not worth that much money. <br/><br/>The Biryani was ok - rather average for Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, however the mutton was cooked well but the quantity was not justified to AED 40 main course. They did give Raita with it which is nice. <br/><br/>I try a lot of Biryani and have eaten better trust me. Whatever you do please don’t order Mutton from here. When I ordered food. I paid for a Large Biryani and they sent a normal position of Biryani. Their food is Too Expensive.

Moti mahal has been my favourite for a long time now. The quality and preparation is excellent and the staff is brilliant. Special thanks to Mr. Dinesh and his team for such amazing work.

In our search for the perfect party experience we stumbled upon MotiMahal Deluxe Restaurant in TCA area of Abudhabi.<br/><br/>We had booked the party hall for our Son's 1st Birthday and the party hall is really clean, well maintained and can accommodate easily 70+ guests.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Mr Dinesh was always welcoming and open to any changes to the menu. <br/><br/>The staff are supportive and always keep a check on the guests. <br/><br/>Mr Dinesh was always available throughout the event making sure everything went picture perfect so that we could enjoy the event along with our guests.<br/><br/>The food was loved by our guests to the last bite. <br/><br/>Both veg and non-veg dishes are really tasty with no colors, all fresh stuff which is not offered by most restaurants in UAE. <br/><br/>The Gulab Jamun was so soft and right amount of sweetness.<br/><br/>We would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to throw a party for any event. <br/><br/>We thank the entire team of MotiMahal from the head chef to the staff for making our event a grand success.

Awesome taste, great service and fastest food delivery ever !!!

I went for a dinner and ordered some veg and non-veg dishes. Non-veg dishes were good but whatever we have ordered in veg, it was horrible. <br/><br/>Vegetable platter we ordered in starters were not at all good in taste apart from the fancy way they served. In main course Paneer tikka we ordered and it was pathetic in taste and even we got bad stomache day after eating the food.

Butter chkn was too sour. Asked them to replace it. Took more than 1 hour to replace the dish. parathas became soggy by that time. Totally disappointed.

Excellent party experience! After searching a lot I finally found the hidden gem in Abu Dhabi i.e. Moti Mahal. <br/><br/>The party hall is quite spacious and can easily accommodate up to 70 people.<br/><br/>Staff is very helpful and supportive, was really impressed by the way they were keeping a check on each n everything so that the party goes well.<br/><br/>I hardly feel we could have found any other restaurant with this much delicious food at such a reasonable price.<br/><br/>I would give 5/5 as me and all my guests were really impressed by the food served and the hospitality given.<br/><br/>I will always recommend Moti Mahal and it will definitely be my first choice in the future.<br/><br/>Special thanks to Mr. Dinesh, also the Wow events team for decorating the party hall.

One of the oldest and land mark place to eat good Indian food in Abu Dhabi.. be it veg or nonveg.<br/>Trust the staff and let them choose the food as per your taste and they will jot disappoint you..<br/>Biryani, daal makhni, Paneer butter masala are must to be tried. Moti mahal is my fav Indian restaurant in Abu Dhabi. The food is always excellent and what amazes me the most is that they maintain the flavour and taste for everydish every time we order. So damn consistent! We love love their butter chicken and that goes without saying. Great service as well!

The biryani at this place is awesome and there is no crowd which means its a family place to go for. I have been to this place around 50 times i love the food here.

This is one of the few restaurants in tourist club area of abu dhabi that serve top quality Indian food. We had visited this place for a family dinner and the first thing I noticed that the restaurant was very spacious in comparison to some other restaurants in the same vicinity. We had ordered a cream of chicken soup followed up with mutton seekh kebab and chickeb Kasturi kebab, i personally would recommend trying their starters because they are super delicious. Overall it was a pretty good experience and j would love visiting this place again.

We had got food delivered to our office. The food was okay, not worth the price. The packaging was pretty nice as the food remained hot till we started to have it. Over the phone, the staff sounded friendly.

I've been there a couple of times. Staffs are really friendly. Place is very clean n hygienic. I tried dal makhini n butter naan. This is the best in the town .

I already tried the food of Motimahal Delux in RAK. This was the first time in AbuDhabi. We ordered Tamatar Dhaniye ka Shorba Soup, Vegetable Platter for Starter, Dum Aloo Punjabi, Paneer Labadar, Rumali Roti, Butter Naan as main course. I was amazed with their quick service, however a bit disappointed with the main course menu, the curry was sweeter. Overall, the food was good. Must try their dessert Firni 😍.

I booked this restaurant to celebrate birthday, staffs are good and helpful their service was outstanding, The food was delicious, I enjoyed the Paneer Kadai, Chicken Korma and Pulao. I Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I had been there last evening with family. Kids enjoyed the nawabi murgh tikka for starters with saffron rice & lemon mint juice. While the murgh bharta with khasta roti, stuffed kulcha & kesar phirni for dessert was delicious. More on the menu to be tried in future.

We chose to dine in here for it is an established brand franchise and I wanted to try their food. The ambience is very attractive, subtle calm colours and the curtained table corners which assures privacy. We ordered nawabi tandoor, butter chicken, butter naan and tandoori roti for dinner. There is a calling switch that you can press to get service at the table. The waiter showed us and said just press if you need anything... but we pressed twice with 5 mins interval wanting the bill. At last we opened the curtain and asked another waiter who walked by for the check. And then he came with bowl of warm water for hand wash... so for my first exp giving 3. The food is delicious and definitely worth!

We ordered chicken curry with roti and chicken biryani. Order and the staff response is good. The chicken is cooked very well and juicy, but biryani is not up to marked for What we had paid. It’s taste was ok ok.

I went last week to Motimahal with a dear friend of mine. We were starving and graving some Indian food. Motimahal was for sure the right choice. We order biryani, daal and many things. But the one dissapointment was that they dont have samboosa they said that samboosa is a street food, and motimahal was fine dinning. However we really enjoyed our meals the prices are fair, the taste is great but the place needs to have a nicer decor to match the amazing food.

I booked this restaurant for a family dinner party and we were of 17 people. All I had to do was call them and inform them, didn’t even have the need to visit them personally. Unlike other restaurants they didn’t bombard me with calls to confirm. They gave this really nice place on their first floor. I made the reservation for 8pm but reached the place only by 9ish. Still they were very patiently waiting for us. Their service was outstanding, the waiters didn’t hesitate even once. The food was delicious, I loved the mixed grill, their special MMD briyani was really good, saag meat was the best. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

An afternoon of Navrathri celebrations at a colleague's place brought us to Motimahal for lunch upon a friend's recommendation. And it did not disappoint! If you're thinking rich Indian food that leaves you incapable of any movement, head straight to Motimahal! <br/><br/>For starters we ordered the vegetarian and non-vegetarian platters. The vegetarian platter failed to impress me but that's probably because I'm an ardent meat eater. The non-veg platter was all kinds of delish! My personal favorite on the platter were the mutton chops, the meat was tender and packed with flavor. I almost regretted telling my friend to have the other chop (they only give you two). The chicken and the fish were good too.<br/><br/>For main course, we ordered the bread basket, accompanied by paneer lababdar, chicken tikka mas<br/>ala and butter chicken. All the curries were packed with flavour and extremely rich. It was an array of Indian comfort food for the afternoon. <br/><br/>The ambiance and service are satisfactory. No complaints there. <br/><br/>That afternoon, six ladies waddled back to work with full bellies and no intent of getting any work done.

We visit this restaurant once in a while and found it to be of our liking. The hariyali fish tikka is my favorite starter. Have tried the naan, rogan ghost, paalak paneer and the pepper chicken. All the dishes were good and flavourful and the paneer was melt in the mouth. The biriyani they serve is cooked to perfection with the right blend of rice, spices and meat. Worth the money paid. The ambience too is inviting offering you apt privacy for family dinners.

Place with a nice ambience and lovely Bollywood songs. Service was good. Ample space is there to dine in. Ordered chicken tikka which was mouth watering. Didn't liked much their Murg Makhani Maharaja. It seems like having chicken with thick tomato soup. Tandoori roti was ok.<br/>Menu is bit harsh on pocket but worth it.

Had a craving for spicy food and you can never get parking around lazeez so thought I'd try this place out. Service was really good and friendly. Tried the fish masala which was a little rich but tasty and then had some rasmalai for desert. Unfortunately having a nut allergy, the Kheer which I really wanted had nuts in it. The nasal and tea wasn't great though and was a little strong for my taste buds. I tried this place once before for take out and it was good so nice and consistent place.

This place is situated in the vicinity and happened to drop there on one of the weekdays for a casual dinner...<br/>Food : We tried the prawns as starters and Chicken Biryani for main course. The prawns was good, aptly grilled and good to relish.<br/>The chicken biryani was not to spicy nor bland. It was very well balanced and all spices flavours could be nicely enjoyed. The basmati rice was cooked correctly so that no broken rice grains were there. However, the chicken pieces were huge and sufficient but weren't too juicy..which made it a bit dry with rice.<br/>Ambience: Its good , cosy, comfortable and private dine in option is available on ground floor which is done with curtains.<br/>Service : I would rate it 3/5.<br/>

After staying of more than 5 years in Abu Dhabi, ended up trying this place as we were out of options for Indian food (you may relate if you live in Abu Dhabi). This place I would say totally surprised me from the time we entered . We were given a family closed section and the service was quick too. The. Attitude of the servers was not bad either. Food gets a 5/5 , especially the tandoor , the chicken curry, lassi etc. and not to miss the desserts especially Gulab Jamun, rasmalai etc.

We went for a team lunch. We ordered a veg platter and a chicken tikka in starters. Mutton Briyani and malai chicken in main course.<br/><br/>Taste was awesome - chicken and mutton was soft and delicious to eat.<br/>Order to service time was decent - around 10 mins.<br/>Staff was well desciplined and provided good recommendation. We were impressed.<br/><br/>overall ambience is decent with just a minor observation - felt that sitting space is a bit congested.<br/><br/>Prices are on the menu card and are subject to one's own perception.<br/><br/>Would recommend to friends for a fine dining experience.<br/>

Rogan Josh is very tasty but could do with less oil. Kadai Murg is superb. The veg biryani is nice but flavour could be stronger. Ambience is very good and got parking easily, plesant surprise. Staff are polite. Price a bit high. Overall liked the experience

I'm not sure if I received the brunt of a bad day for Motimahal and therefore bad luck or is this their regular fare....ordered a veg and non-veg kebab platter for the first time as take away and highly disappointed with the hara bhara, Makkai seekh and the paneer (never tasted such dry and hard very very stale) tikka kebabs within the veg fare. Only the Bharwaan aloo was palatable but just. <br/>I had requested for the mutton chops to be replaced with mutton seekh kebabs in the non veg platter which along with the fish kebabs were very nice...the chicken tandoori and pahadi/rashmi tikka kebabs were very dry and hard....the only reason I ordered this take away due my friend's recommendation and the first maybe my last...there's a lot to takeaway for Motimahal from the other INDIAN restaurants serving very good fare in terms of kebabs and I hope for the franchise to pick up and do better. No hard feelings but it was really disappointing since my pregnant wife was looking forward to eating some decent kebabs tonight and was drastically let down.

Great place to take your folks for a nice sit down experience. Butter chicken and dal makhni are to die for. Great selection of breads and attentive service. Their kebabs and tikka dishes are cool as well. Do ask for recommendations when u r there. Also, look out for any promotion/spl menus they have going on which is great again. All in all a nice & cosy family dining venue. Thumbs up!

Ordered chicken briyani, butter chicken and butter naan. The briyani was really delicious and the chicken pieces were tender and juicy. The naan was hot and fresh. The butter chicken tasted really good too.

Well one of my favorite restaurants... love the grills ... the daal makhani is the best in the city ... the grilled prawn .... Kadai chicken and rara gosht .... the sweets too are good ... good to go ...!!!

We went here with few of my friends for the Friday dinner. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and hospitality at Moti Mahal!! Dal Makani was by far the best we had in Abu Dhabi. Highly recommend the restaurant!

The biryani itself was just okay .It is not worth 40 dhirams since the quantity you give for take away is much more less compared to dine in.I would request you to increase your quantity . But daal makhni was amazing as usual . Hope you take an initiative to my request . I also wish you a Happy Ramdan .

My favorite Indian restaurant so far. I usually order for home delivery. The ambiance in the restaurant needs improvement for sure. My fave dishes are khasta paratha, butter naan, roomali roti, chicken malai tikka, butter chicken, dal makhni, palak paneer, egg Biriyani, chicken Biriyani and rasmalai and gulab jamun😍😘😘. The portion size is pretty big and the quality is super. Only wish the ambiance to dine in at the location was better. Great value for your money and seriously yum Indian food. You can request them to make food less spicy to suit your palate. A must try for sure😍

The best palak paneer by far! they make a great boneless chicken biryani too! however each time i have dined in...i have been disappointed by the service. food takes too much time to come to the table and the staff is not very attentive.

We tried motimahal for the first time today and quite enjoyed it! The staff is very nice and accommodating. The restaurant ambiance was nice and had great old Bollywood hits as background score 😊. <br/><br/>We ordered the following:<br/>Mutton kebab: Good portion, a bit salty, I would’ve liked it cooked a bit more but still tasty.<br/><br/>Tandoori Pomfrit: Small portion for the price and the spice level was a bit bland but was fresh and tasty for what it was.<br/><br/>Veg biryani: My in-laws enjoyed it as it had a good portion, masala was good and even had paneer mixed in.<br/><br/>Murgh Makhni: The best butter chicken in AD that I have had. I would highly recommend this! Tasty and cooked to perfection!<br/><br/>Rogan Josh: I am Kashmiri, this was not Rogan josh, it was some sort of tamatar curry with too much oil and little to no meat. I would not order this again. <br/><br/>Stuffed Kulcha: We ordered the mixed version and it was delicious! <br/><br/>All in all great and we would definitely return again! <br/><br/><br/>

Biryani made up-to perfection, good combination of spices i actually ordered low spicy so could taste flavor of other spices. Basmati Rice cooked properly not broken, right amount of vegetables and other ingredients. Its a must to order biryani if visiting this place. Service and ambience is good.

In search for a new place to celebrate a special occasion, we stumbled upon this place based on reviews from Zomato!! Must say ..it was a very good choice!! A great Indian family restaurant with a very pleasing decor. The severs were very humble and the FOOD WAS GREAT!! One of those places where you have nothing to whine about ... would surely visit again!!!

Ambience is very good. Service is very good. Kababs are very good. Chicken dishes are good in taste. Did not try the veg items though. Good for family eat out.

Food was fine but not up to taste, I would not suggest visiting on an average basis as it’s much expensive than it has to be, worthless waste of money and time..

Great place for a casual lunch or dinner with the family. We came on a Public Holiday afternoon lunch looking for proper north indian food ... we certainly weren't disappointed!<br/><br/>Started with the non veg platter which had delicious grills tikka, lamb, malai chicken, etc. Along with cream chicken soup for the kiddos. Had the paneer makhani, mutton roganjosh and mutton dum Hyderabadi biryani. All were fantastic but the biryani was the best. Ended with hot n seeet gulab jamuns.<br/><br/>Service was prompt and our waiter was ever smiling & pleasant. Hope to come back on our next AUH visit

Just amazing food!!! I regard Moti Mahal as a place where you get the best North Indian food at a very nominal price. Anything you order, you are in for a wonderful experience

This restaurant serves some delicious Indian food. The ambience and interiors are good. The quality of food is mostly upto the mark. Their non-veg starters Nd main course are always delicious and my favourite fish biryani deserves a special mention.<br/>If you crave authentic north Indian non-veg food, this is the place to go.

Horrible disgusting Indian food. Made me gag. First the food arrived almost an hour late, the chicken was undercooked, the mutton was smelly and hard in texture. The butter chicken was tomato sauce chicken, we could barely eat. Extremely disappointed.

I had only once from here. Atmosphere ambience and location is nice. But food is just average. If u are and experimental guy there is little chance u will come twice.

Definitely a must try restaurant that servers rich, tasty, quality north indian cuisine.... staff service is also excellent!!.... had a very good dining experience... takes you to the real flavors of indian cuisine..price slightly on the high side but definitely worth it.. a small area of improvement if i hav to suggest is the cleanliness..<br/>Recommended!

Had a good time with colleagues at MotiMahal today.. the place was quite full even we entered at 8pm.. the ambience is good and so are the attentive staff..<br/><br/>Food came on time and all of us enjoyed the starters, main course and desserts.. the pictures will speak for itself 😃

Know this joint since last 5 years. Definitely lost its charm and quality with passing years. Bread basket is good though. Quantity and quality of gravy items have reduced. Biryanis holding onto their own though. Good place to take guests just for the sake of privacy and ambiance. Food heated up in microwave and most of the dishes look like it's from readymade packets.

A mid ranged and family friendly restaurant, the best on the menu are the chicken tandoori for spice lovers and afghani for people who like it non spicy. The staff is friendly and the service is good too. The veg menu is good and their adriki ghobi and daal makhni are classics. This is a place to frequent and enjoy with family.

Moti mahal is the perfect place to dine with your family and friends. Last week we tried Mutton Kashmiri, chicken korma, palak paneer and they all were excellent. The staff is trained and service is up to the mark.<br/><br/>Highly recommended.....

Have been a regular customer for over 2 years now but tonight's dinner was nowhere near what I expect from Moti Mahal in terms of food taste and quality. The recent changes that have been implemented in recipes and presentation have completely taken away the feel of having an authentic Indian cuisine. <br/>The cloth napkins smelled, Murg Malai tikka was dry, Laccha parantha was no longer as lachaddar, dal tadka was plain and Butter chicken was average nothing special.<br/>The only thing as per expectation was service.<br/><br/>With this, Moti Mahal Abu Dhabi has almost dropped off my list now.

I am really disappointed with this place.i am not some1 who likes to write rotten reviews about a below average restaurant but i felt i had to warn u all about this place.it was my first time here with my family.To start with the food is quite expensive and quantity is too less.we ordered chicken maharaja restaurant special.it was more gravy n hardly any chicken for 1 person.now coming to the real reason I decided to put up this review. In the butter naans we ordered there were broken porcelain . We immediately called the waiter and they confirmed with people inside.i was really shocked coz they came n said as if it was nothing great. My 3 n half year son was also having the food.imagine my shock.we stopped n went to the main counter.And those shameless fellows were ready to bill the whole items.Not even a 'sorry'.all they said was we told the chef about it what else can we do.And just coz they didn't want other customers to hear our complaints they were saying will give discount that too after a lot of arguing.We finally just paid and came .Worst place....bad attitude of staff.worst quality of food.and to add expensive for the quantity they serve.

Food is simply amazing with super efficient n helpful staff. Excellent place to dine out with the entire family. Should try Rogan Josh, dal makhni butter chicken n romali roti. We order or visit this place atleast once every week.

Finally I made my way to Motimahal. Food selection is awesome but the Fish Masala grabbed my attention. Unfortunately, this Masala was below my expectations. The gravy had somehow no flavour, taste, it was just neutral - pretty bad. I compared the Fish Masala with the one at Al Arab on Muroor - so far the best in town.<br/>The Tandoori Bahrwan Aloo was delicious though.<br/>Service was not very approachable.<br/><br/>

Looking at high ratings in other reviews, I think we went on a bad day. Normal food seemingly made hot in a microwave. The restaurant was empty at dinner town and my experience explained why. Improve your food quality Motimahal.

Dal makhani, Paneer butter masala and mix vegetable tasted good. Nan was soft and good when served warmer, but later it was stiff to chew...

The best Indian restaurant in town by far. I love the biryani, the tomato soup, the haryali shrimp, butter chicken and the veg palaw rice. In general everything I've tried was good including the desert
