It was my first experience at Masala and i must say... Food taste was tooo good. I really want to visit Masala again in my next visit of AbuDhabi.

I was expecting really good food based on the current reviews. But I was really disappointed. 1. Delivery took over 1 hour instead of 30 min. The driver went in the opposite direction of my house "for some reason" 2. Chicken tikka masala. The chicken was over grilled, hard and tasteless. It was like rocks covered in masalas with too much oil. Very bland 3. Nan was stale. Could not eat it 4. Samosa was extremely spicy (and I eat a lot of spicy food!!) 5. Gulab jamun was raw in the middle 6. Makhni daal was bland (needs salt) However, the butter chicken biryani and lamb biryani was reasonable. The packaging and presentation was really good also. Overall, it was a very strange experience. Two extremes of bland and stale to burning spicy. I really hoped to enjoy my meal. I won't be ordering from this place again

Great portion, delicious food, excellent packaging, amazing taste that’s what masala is all about. Their service was impeccable. The Nihari, karahi, mixed grill tikka, Biryani, lassi and gulab jamun, we loved everything. It was exceptionally tasty and delicious! I loved how thoughtful they were with the packing and on time delivery. We couldn’t stop ourselves from eating. Will surely be a go to desi place!

Count memories Not the Calories!!! . Exactly this what happened last week when we received the yummy food by @masala.ae and created some good memories!!! . To start with we had yummy samosas served with tamarind sauce&🍟 samosas so grand and delicious. . Followed by main course of Roganjosh and Butter Chicken served with yummy breads. Made to the perfection perfect balance of Mutton chicken spices and chilli. . Then followed super delicious Mutton Biryani which was perfect blend of all spices and served with raita! . Last but not least we had Mango lassi and i can bet you that you never had any lassi as yummiest as this one! Perfect mix of curd mango and awesome flavor of mint😋😋😋 . All in all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me! Beef Nihari. Biryani lover’s if your looking for spicy 🌶 hot 🥵 then this is the best place. Beef Nihari was good. Served with a small pot of ginger and chills. Daal mash had a Desi Ghee tarka. Overall good food. Good customer service. Dining area is closed at the moment. Takeaway orders only. Parking is available. Wheelchair accessible.

The prices were the reason I was a bit sceptical about ordering from here but I decided to go for it today because it's Pakistani and I did not regret it one bit. The food came on time and the packaging was the best I've ever seen. I've ordered from famous restaurants in the past but none of them were packaged so well. The portion of the food was good and the taste was amazing! I got 4 behari rolls in Puri bread and instead of 4 diet coke cans, I opted for 2 500ml bottles. The rolls had the authentic Pakistani taste. One of the best Pakistani restaurants in Abu Dhabi. I now look forward to trying more of their dishes. Kudos to the staff of this restaurant.

Hi, Not worth for the price they charged. More than the price the food taste was not up to the mark. Lam biriyani was very dry and no masala at all though the restaurant name is Masala. I am really sorry to say this. Needs a lot of improvement.

I had decided to order some desi food for iftar and decided to place my order for delivery from masala . I had ordered samosa chaat , chicken karahi and lamb biryani. The samosa chaat wasn’t that great and tasted average. The taste of the samosa chaat has room for improvement. The chicken karahi was yummy and the spice level was just fine and the portions are sufficient enough for two . The lamb biryani was delicious as well and the lamb pieces were succulent. The packaging of the food was clean and safe . The delivery time of the food was delayed by half an hour . The overall food experience was good .

Great value iftar meal box from Masala. The packaging is very neat and clean. Loved the chicken samosa, filled with chunky pieces of tandoori chicken. Mango lassi was delicious as well. The reason they don't get a five star rating is because the Haleem and Naan were not hot on arrival and I had to reheat. Also, I was hoping the Haleem would be served with ginger, green chilly & fried onion as per the authentic tradition of a Pakistani haleem dish. I do recommend this place and will definitely be back for more!

45dhms for a chicken biryani and it turns out to be absolutely tasteless....it's just white rice with some red and yellow colors.... absolutely bland ... My biggest loss when it comes to ordering food

After seeing the reviews of this restaurant,ordered kadai chicken and tandoori roti. The chicken ws cooked to perfection, tender, good quality with right proportion of masalas. The packaging was also professional and the food ws hot and fresh when it was delivered and in time. Highly recommended

Craving for some Indian food came across this little place , although it looked really small we decided to give the place a try and boy it was not disappointing at all. We wanted to have butter chicken but opted for the Chicken karahi instead with roti . The flavors were really good , would definitely recommend. Will visit again , or probably order the yummy looking rolls.

I came across this restaurant while searching for budget friendly places. It had a good rating so I went in for a quick lunch. The food was good, fresh & served hot. We tried : Mutton Biryani - It’s Karachi style Biryani. Portion is good & comes with mint raita. The mutton was bit chewy so can be cooked better or maybe the piece we got weren’t the best :) Chicken Karahi - It was pretty yummy! Tandoori Rotis - Soft and served hot Chai - Good :) The manager was super friendly, checked about the food quality. He also told us about discount on ADCB card & recommended the grills & kebabs which we will try next for sure. It’s a small place for dine in, available on delivery too but give it a shot. Such a bad quality of food I received...as I don't have words to say... I am not expecting such a level of food ...as ordered ...prathas .. very bad...very thick that you can't say that this is prathas.. stuff inside the prathas...very bad taste and gives feel it's not fresh... Thickness of prathas are so much as it's around... Same thickness of my finger... around 10 mm first time made order and very bad experience... overall ...they are not prathas ....

I went this restaurant with one of my friend to having some lite food but one of server suggested us go for lunch box (AED - 25 only), when we taste the food it was really delicious, decor and sitting arrangement is excellent I love this place a lot, definitely i will visit this restaurant soon with my family, at last I would like to say thank u to management, highly recommend this restaurant to all Indian food lovers.

It was a good restaurant 6 months back. Every since the quality of the food has gone down and prices are too high for the quality they provide. Meet is never cooked properly, I ordered rice it had sand particles in it, I ordered chicken it was not fresh , atleast a day old. I ordered potatoes, they were unbaked. I am sorry this is really expensive restaurant for desi food and very poor quality.

Ordered beef nihari. There was so much oil i couldnt even see the beef. Not that it mattered because there were exactly 4 pieces of beef smothered in oil and not gravy/sauce. Taste was bland. Definitely not ordering from here again. Rice on the otherhand was in a bigger container than the beef for less the price. Such a disappointment as i was deeply craving a proper beef stew.

Masala is my favorite restaurant for mixed grills in the Abu Dhabi City. Their chicken dum biryani is also very tasty and so is their chicken karahi and ginger chicken. I generally order from this restaurant as there is no wash basin for customers in the restaurant.

I ordered a Biryani from here from Zomato which was priced at AED 25 and crossed out to AED 10 under special offer. There was only 1 piece of lamb in it!! If it is really a special offer and not quantity as per price,why do you call it an offer. This is cheating the customers.

Very Disappointing. I tried the mutton biryani as there was an offer for AED 10. No taste in the biryani. Just Coloured rice. A bone piece with 10% flesh on it. For 10 AED, I could've got better food which would give the satisfaction required to have a good lunch. The 2 star rating is only for the on-time delivery.

There was one offer going on zomato for biriyani from different restuarants.I choose Masala restaurant thinking there will be enough masala in biriyani,unfortunately the biriyani was plain and I couldn't feel the biriyani flavour.The chicken was good but quantity dissapointed.3 stars for the ontime delivery and chicken.

I wanted to try their food and Zomato gave this opportunity with the amazing offers floating around. I ordered shrimps biryani and I must say the fried shrimps were the only good thing. But the rice was plain, it lacked masala or flavour which is disappointing. Only for their quick service and the amazing shrimps, I would go with 3 stars. Please improve on the flavours of rice, atleast add some masala. You call your restaurant as masala and the irony is that there is none.

Ordered fish biryani in the current promo running on zomato lunch deals, 3 stars for the flavours and quality of rice and fish but dissapointed with the quantity of both! In the same promo, i have ordered from other biryani places with the same price range and have received regular portions and not reduced portions for running in the promo. The quantity is definitely something the management needs to look into even while running promos.

It's been almost an year since we ate their rolls and last time it wasn't upto the level. Unfortunately this time its the same thing. Ordered beef bihari roll in chapati and chicken tikka roll in poori with garlic mayo. The beef was half minced half chunky. The poori was extremely oily but chicken tasted good. Prices increased charging up for garlic mayo and cheese is not a good idea. It should be part of the roll.
