The Chelo Kebab with the pomegranate rice is sooooo good.. the portion is huge.. it comes with veggies, yogurt and bread..

The best Iranian Resturant I tried sultani dish with zarkach rice so delicious and I think no one better make than this. It’s very clean restaurant and friendly stuff
Dining there or ordering takeout, Sadaf are pretty generous when it comes to complimentary sides such as soups, salads, bread and yogurt. The meal size is also good.
Their best menu items are the kabab kobideh and yogurt marinated lamb tikka. Their sultani is disappointing. Prices are slightly expensive.
If you are lover of persian food sadaf is the place to try. For soup we had ashrishty.We tried kabab kubeidah which was soft and juicy melt in the mouth. the price of dish is little on high but taste is excellent. I recommend this place for authentic persian food.
I would like to congratulate Sadaf for changing their food quality , presentation , however I believe that they can still do better on their portions . I do think they earned the 5 rating

The juicy grills come with variety of rice, fresh cuts of vegetables, freshly baked bread, and yoghurt.
Love this joint , the kebabs are always so juicy, moist , delicious and well done... !! The variety of rice too is just great ....especially the plain rice ... the breads are always freshly baked and served ... the staff is really attentive and courteous... great to go ...!!
Sadaf is one famous and old restaurant group in the UAE that offers food from Persian Cuisine.
I liked their meat because it is fresh.
Food:
I tried several items in their menu. I liked Lamb Ribs, and Kabab Sultani, but I didn't like Lamb Tikka. I also liked their plain steak (American style) but its not like a west steak at all (maybe because of the type of lamb they use). I also liked their grilled shrimps. You should also try Sabzi Saloona, and chicken Sheesh Tawooq.
Their Ramadan buffet is huge.
Service:
Excellent staff and very caring & friendly. The drivers for delivery are also great. The only thing I did not like in delivery is the drinks packaging, very cheap in comparison to the type of the restaurant.
Ambiance:
It has a touch of persian culture to an extent, but can be improved.
Recommended for families and couples.
The best Iranian kabab and kabab in general especially meat kabab their rice is ok I don’t recommend sitting there but ordering takeout and when you order takeout you can order the grill by kilo unlike in the shop you can’t!
If you order home for every kilo of mix grills you get a big plate of mixed rice and yogurt and their amazing Persian bread,humus is additional and not so tasty
Visited Sadaf after couple of years.. food is still really tasty. Especially their kababs..
If you wanna try some real good Iranian food, its the place.

Had our early dinner here, i tried the chelu kabab sultani the iranian traditional dish, there’s no difference from other arabic restaurant, the taste is just normal, no other options for vegetarian people, but the staff are very friendly and courteous. The price is little expensive.

So good! The soup, the bread, the grills, the rice. Delicious food and fresh. I leave happy every time. Even my 3yr old, who is a picky eater and eats nothing, loves the kubideh!

If ambiance is not your main concern, and you are craving Iranian grill and cuisine that hits the spot without hitting your wallet (considering the large quantities), then Sadaf is the place to go. We never had a disappointing meal here. Among the juicest kebab i have sampled. Flavorful eggplant stew. Delicious soup... tasty dishes and fresh ingredients.
The service is alwasy rompt and efficient. The ataff is feiendly and accommodating. A great option for a week meal or delivery.
We have been ordering from Sadaf for years. We also visit their restaurant occasionally, and tried their buffet on a couple of occasions, and not once have been disappointed. Their portions are generous with a range of complementary items (yoghurt, green leaves and raw vegetable dish, soup, and plenty of their delicious bread!). We love their mixed grill. Kebabs are always juicy. The chicken is so tender. They also have some interesting daily dishes (the one with eggplants is very tasty).
A good option for delivery when one is not in the mood of cooking nor going out, and feels like having a decent meal.
We ordered our dinner from Sadaf. Delivery was prompt and food was hot upon arrival. All dishes were very tasty and their portions are generous. Their kebab are super juicy, their stew dishes (eggplant is a must try) are scrumptious. Good rice dishes too and AMAZING freshly baked bread. Prices are very competitive. We will definitely order again here.
Was in the mood of Iranian :) and samar is one of the best Iranian restaurants in abu dhabi spiacialy to dine in :) the taste is so good moist and well presented with a generous amount of different tipes of rice ... the price is responsible ...

Been there last week. I tried the foods from menu. The food was perfect but I think the service should be improved since we called the waitress many times in order to take our order. The rest was OK.
Very decent persian food. Everything is well cooked and delicious. The kebabs are super delicious. I didn't like their chicken biryani, the chicken was bland hoping for an extra flavor. staff is very great would go again
Good quality of persian food, highly recommended for their buffet. However, the quality of their home delivery service could be inconsistent at some times.
5 for taste and quality but 3 for quantity. Ordered for delivery and had 12 guests and was advised by the server that 2 plates will be enough and sufficient, thenine for 320 and the one for 250 but unfortunately the quantities were not enough. If you have guests i recommend you order more but then you will have to pay aed 700+ which will be overpriced.
Delicious food - an excellent selection of mixed rice and I specially like the 1 with cranberries (not even sure they are that or goji berries or even another kind) and their mixed grills are very very good, tender and juicy the koobideh (kabab) is my favorite! Perfect for big groups.

Best Iranian cuisine in Abu Dhabi. The grill platter easily feeds an entire family with a nice selection of rice and grills. Tender, tasty and worth the price.
Sadaf is a long existing restaurant in abu dhabi and serves above average persian food. Service is very good, they seem to have a high number of waiters per customer. They have a buffet set up daily for lunch and dinner, and it carries the basics of persian cuisine.
Convenient place for a quick lunch but a little on the pricy side.

I work with a couple of folks who like to go here, so I thought I would check it out. First thing I noticed is that this place thinks enough of its patrons to have Valet parking, which adds to the dining experience, thanks SADAF. This visit consisted of trying out their Persian buffet, which was not too pricey... at AED 89. The buffet was up on the first floor, so I am guessing that the ground floor caters to folks that want to order off the menu. Next visit I will have to go a la carte and eat off the menu, just to see how they prepare individual meals. So, what can I say about the buffet, the service was great and the food was awesome. The selection was good, and they even have a pretty good selection of Middle Eastern deserts to chose from, which went good with Coffee after the meal. Good food and great service, which means I will visit this place again.
