Fortunately coming across to some tasty, appetizing, scrumptious meal wasn't on last evening's itierinary. Wifey and me decided to venture out last evening and came across this place which promised to offer some authentic Goan cuisine . Its location is inside this hotel building Hawthorne suites next to cornice hospital. When entered , the place seemed well lit with decent lights, not too much or too little decor , not so much of a goan touch which we was hoping to find . Had this big screen for cricket enthusiasts with ongoing IPL match to which I was glued.But it was a ladies night to which everything else was forgotten... unlimited drinks for my better half with mixed platter of sorts which included assorted fried crisps of chicken and seafood , some of it even was in sweet and sour sauce. We tried out the Beef steak cooked with rum , a delicate combination of spices put very mildly , with some bread and veggies Wifey is a bit choosy sort when it comes to selecting spots ...but even she couldn't get this place out of her pallete till next morning. And then there were Drinks and drinks and drinks.. Pinacolada, Screwdrivers,Blue Lagoon,Cosmos for her over and over again 😂. Me just plain dark rum and coke..man of few limited tastes when it's alcohol. Was wondering if she could walk after all this or would require me carrying her out...u know what I mean 😂 But anyways Happy wife is happy life....All in all pretty decent night out with good ambience , good Dj with a mix of Pop and Hindi remixes.They have a pool table at the last end where some young couples seemed having a good time with smokes. Pros : Food and drinks ,yet a lot to try. Cons: It would have been lot more interesting if decor was goan theemed... can't call it a con though..all in all enjoyed WIR : Definitely yes 3/5

I frequent the place for ribs, vindaloo-rice, xacuti and mince patties. The place offers a decent variety of beers on the menu. I usually visit during to grab mug of beer or two followed by dinner. The vibe ranges from quiet at bar to people partying hard in the men's section to a smoke free family section and finally serious games at the pool table. Very well managed with friendly and hospitable staff. A Special mention for Ms Sweenal who manages the place with cheerful and welcoming vibe. She's great with providing recommendations as well. I went to this place with some Indian friends to have some Goan cuisine. The food is very average. The meat in the beef vindaloo was so dry as if they just reheated it, the drinks were quite pricey and the place is very loud that there's not even a corner where you can have a decent conversation while having a meal. Eventhough the staff were all nice and accommodating, it's not a place I would want to come back to, mostly because of the loud noise. If you want Goan food, try making it at home or go to Goa. I would not recommend the place.

Must try this place for Goan cuisine. They have live band on weekends and the food is super delicious here. Chicken vindaloo and all pork dishes are just perfect here. Amazing ambience and staff is humble, kind and very courteous. Best place to celebrate birthdays As they arrange the table and everything perfectly. I am in love with this place and the positive atmosphere in there. You guys rock Team Casa Goa♥️

Love this place for their variety pork dishes. So far I have tried Pork Vindaloo, pork sizzler and pork indaloo.. Pork Vindaloo being my favorite among all..

Whenever I call up the restaurant in the afternoon , they each time have to confirm if the cooks have come , a few weeks back as well I called they said they had a late night<br/> and the cooks will be coming late today . They have no sense of running the business , typical susegad attitude .

I have been going to this place for some amazing goan food. Their goan dishes are the best. Everytime i crave for vindaloo rice.... this is the right place to go. It reminds me of my mom's vindaloo 😍.

Just had a wonderful lunch experience eating our most favorite Peri-Peri Chicken at Nando’s WTC..Special shout out to our server Mary Joy for a wonderful service and very attentive to our needs!! Looking forward to coming back again....

Casa Goa has a very good ambience for a chilled out night with friends. Never met a group of staff as good and friendly as them. Our server for the night was Sweeln who was very jolly and kind and was always attentive to us and made sure we were content.

Very good experience during the Covid 19 Era. There was no live music due to the same but the music played was enough to entertain us. The food as always was delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive.

Decent goan food and good drinks at reasonable prices are the buzz words of this place. Their chicken peri peri (starter) is a must try dish. Main course would recommend trying any of the goan fish delicacies. Oh and they have a snooker table and live music as well!!

Being a regular customer of Casa goa, the quantity of food has been half. Coming to the drinks, it used to be a heaven for the ladies earlier but these days, it’s practically 1/3rd if what it used to be. It’s terribly disappointing and I don’t think the place is what it used to be.

Definitely the place if you are from Goa. Or just love the Goan atmosphere. The Ambience is fantastic with music played by a Live band. However they can improve a bit on their authenticity of the food. Parking is an issue. But definitely a place to visit.

I had the yummies and tastiest tiger prawns masala, I m not sure what the name of the masala was but it was mouth watering. I had in the restaurant and next day again ordered for delivery. When I visited the restaurant it was today’s special dish tiger prawns masala or grill and the waitress suggested to take masala. I ordered the next day but the masala was different and not as the one I had in restaurant which was extremely good- sour and my mouth’s watering as I write. See the image and you will feel the same. I had in restaurant Kube and it was okay as I m not fond of grated coconut I found it moderate spicy. But tiger prawns masala took my taste buds to another level. I liked the live music and also the waitress who severed was good. Going again to have the tiger prawns. And also bun(Pav so called) reminded of Goa. Not to forget their delivery bags are damn so cute and sustainable and not plastic.

I had been here quite few times but y'day the food was undercooked and tasted really bad. We had to leave as soon as possible. Never expected the pork ribs to taste this awful as well as the Peri Peri chicken.

A goan place away from goa. A good goan vibes with live music and jolly place. Visited this place two times and had an amazing experience. overall the layout of the Bar is ok however the food and drinks are great. the staff are friendly and service oriented. you will enjoy the music here even if you dont understand :-)

Ordered Chicken Vindaloo for delivery. It was clearly stated in the menu that it is accompanied with rice but was delivered without rice. Also, I had to follow up with Zomato twice because 5 minutes have passed yet my order was still pending for confirmation. Zomato phoned them and they said they will accept but it took around 5minutes more before they finally did. <br/><br/>I complained to Zomato about the rice and was told that someone from the restaurant will phone me. They did phone me after few hours with a very loud live band singing in the background and was told that it was my fault cause I did not mention if I prefer rice or bread. First, it was already stated in the menu “accompanied with rice” Second, it did not give me an option to choose from rice or bread. So they said it was Zomato’s fault and if you do not specify rice or bread they will not send anything. <br/><br/>Anyway, food was alright. Nothing special. Will not order again.

This place is quite common amongst goans and mangaloreans. They have some good food options and cool ambiance with some house music during the weekends. Good for couples too.. 👍

If you want a budget beer and you love Hoegaarden then this is place to be in Abu Dhabi. Cheapest Hoegaarden in town and Chicken Chilly is good too. Try yourself to believe it, Highly recommended!

Asked for not spicy or if spice is added, it should be mild and moderate. Receieved a dish that was inedible due to the spice content. It was so hot(spicy/chili) that i couldnt stomach one bite. The dish itself looked amazing and I was craving it so badly, but next time please do read the comments upon accepting the order and if my request cannot be fulfilled, let me know and I will cancel my order or choose something else. Visited Casa Goa on a Wednesday night with family. Ordered prawn chilli, chicken peri peri, fish cutlet and chapati. Seafood was fresh, peri peri was the right amount of spicy and delicious- reordered this one! Loved the fish cutlet! They also have live band. Casa Goa is perfect if you want to go just chill and have good food, nothing fancy!<br/>We also had the Goan pao which was so soft and so fresh. We actually hadn’t ordered it, probably the server got confused- but it was good, recommend it to try with the prawn chilli. <br/>P.S Wednesday is ladies night- 2 free drinks on the house :) <br/>With Samarth Shetty

Very nice food. Ambience on weekends is good or else very quiet. Good offers and friendly staff. Goan food is the only cuisine we tried and was good. Must visit place for Chorisa. Expect some more new dishes to be introduced.

Had heard about Casa Goa for long and wanted to try them. Finally got opportunity to visit them with a friend. Good selection of Goan cuisine apart from reasonably priced drinks. They have live music from 9 pm onwards. Overall a good experience.

Worst experience ever ordering for delivery from them via zomato, set an order at 03:38pm a guy calls me from them at 03:53pm confirming my order and at 05:18pm I contacted zomato with my concern and they responded need one more hour to prepare the order, and and excuse they haven't seen the order, how can you call confirming an order u haven't seen, the funny part u get a text apologies due to no delivery driver after an hour and half🤷🏽‍♂️(suggestion you shouldn't offer a delivery service if you can't commit to it) and change your 30-40min time to hours instead

Been to many Goan restaurants in Dubai. However it was my first time in Abu Dhabi. I visited the restaurant with friends.<br/><br/>The ambience is very dark and dull. The staff is friendly and helpful. A lot of crowd mostly for their offers on happy hours. The singers are dull and boring. They need to either ask the customers for recommendation of songs instead of singing some depressing Hindi songs. No variation of music, need to be more lively and audible.<br/><br/>We ordered for croquettes, which were great for the first round. When we repeated the order, it was very salty.<br/><br/>We also ordered rawa fry mussels, which were fresh and tasty. The pork chili was average. We ordered pork ribs, it was the worst rechado masala with coriander seasoning I ever tasted! Even a person making the first time watching YouTube would do a better job.<br/><br/>A very average restaurant.<br/><br/>

The name has "Goa" in it and yes you will feel the vibes of Goa there. Lively environment. Staff is attentive. Live Goan and Bollywood music adds charm to it. Great thing is you can request a song. It has separate sections for bar, family and for smoking. This is my second time here and ordered chicken drumsticks and Budweiser. Previously I had chilly chicken which was worst but chicken drumsticks was good. I suggest to order sea food there.

Pork roast and Sorpotel wow every time. Music is not so great but the food and beverages does it for me every time. Love the new goan street food additions. Prawn balchao needs some improvement but as there is no 4.5 they deserve a 5. See you on Friday for the Asia Cup finals.

The space is not too wide but the service is good. We had fun with my colleagues. Food is delicious especially there chicken wings! The staffs gave good service and there MOD assisted us well.<br/>Enjoyed it with my colleagues👍

Visited Casa Goa during a recent trip to Abu Dhabi. Since we were there during lunch hours, it was empty but nonetheless service was great. <br/>The menu is pretty straight-cut, they have a few Manglorean delicacies as well. Interiors definitely requires a bit of a touch up - after a lovely chat with the manager, we were informed that he is planning to remove the alcohol adverts which are literally on every wall and instead replace them with  some lovely pictures from Goa (bonus points for that!). There is also a wall that is designed by "Billytoons" a famous cartoonist from Goa. <br/><br/>Coming to the food; for drinks we ordered fresh lime soda and orange juice both of which were a bit too sour for my liking. For mains; we opted for the sizzler, the meat was cooked in a beautiful masala that hits your taste buds just right, unfortunately the veggies and fries weren't mixed quite well, and lacked seasoning. <br/>We also opted for the chorizo pulao, which was the highlight of our lunch. This dish I loved very much and was quite authentic

I really enjoy the night with my colleagues, dance and enjoy, song's choice by the singer was so nice to hear, its not just to sing high notes, but to feel the momment. Chicken leg like stir fry with sauce in spicy, sour, and little bit sweet. Over all really good and we have unforgettable momment. Thank you.

After a long time enjoyed the authentic Goan cuisine ....food is yum....loved the ambience...felt as if back in goa....friendly staff...missed the live band but will definitely catch it soon again....

Amazing food. Tried the squid rechido masala & pork chilli fry.. it's lip smacking!! From the quick bites category cigar goan pappad is a must try! Highly recommended place for goan food lovers.

Had heard a lot about this place from my friends. Also during my stay at Hawthorne would see it always crowded. Hence decided to give it a try. One of those places in UAE where you get pork dishes. The draught beer is also good , so are the cocktail. Only thing being the roast chicken had too much of soya sauce making it salty. There was also light music in background. Overall good experience

Good Goa vibes. Food was great and the service was impeccable. Try the beef cutlets, sausage pulao and the prawn fry and you won't be disappointed.

Let me start off by saying.... if you are craving for authentic Goan food, Casa Goa (Abu Dhabi) is the place you ought to visit. I have visited this place quite a few times and every visit I try a different Goan preparation, be it Xitt Kodi or Mussel Rawa Fry, Prawn Curry, Beef tongue, Chicken Cafreal or Pork Sorpotel...every dish brought back memories of Goa.<br/><br/>This time we tried the new addition to their menu - The Goan Quick Bites Assorted (Snacks) platter which comprised of Beef Croquettes, Prawn Rissois and Prawn Potato Chops. The taste of the platter was simply outstanding. I loved all the three items.. We had the Goan Street Food Combo, we chose the Beef Cutlet with a pint of beer. The Cutlet served here is the same as you would find on the streets in Goa.<br/><br/>We also ordered Sorpotel it was yummy, it tasted just like how my family prepares it.<br/><br/>I definitely recommend having the Assorted Snacks Platter, Goan Cutlet, Mussel Rawa Fry, or Chicken Cafreal.<br/><br/>The staff and their Manager Mr. Nolasco makes sure you are being taken care of. The place has a nice ambience too.<br/><br/>I'm really delighted to have authentic Goan food served here in Abu Dhabi. This place is a must visit and enjoy Goan food while having hard drinks and enjoying a great live band.<br/>

Chillin’ with some of my colleagues last night. Food was good, ambiance was incredible they have 3 separate rooms where in you can dance and smoke, play darts etc., watch and groove with the live bands. And the thing I like the most here is their *SERVICE you can feel that they are willing to help you and serve you in the best way that they can. We will definitely come back here soon..

Food was amazing and loved the india band. It was not crowded today. I really enjoyed it. Guy with beard has a beautiful voice.<br/>Staff is super friendly and great value for money.<br/>They do big group booking as well and give exclusive and exciting offers.we will definitely back as big group booking on next week.<br/>I recommend this place to everyone who wants enjoy their evening with amazing food and stress releasing music😉😉😉😉😉😉😉

Great place, for long heard off, finally went and and had a great time with family. Food, service, ambience everything was great. Loved the variety of pork dishes, must try at this place the ribs without fail. Priced a bit higher on certain dishes, overall you will not regret dining here.

Went with a group of 9 friends and loved the food and the band as well. Service was good and a special thanks to the manager ( sorry but can’t remember the name). Hope to visit soon

Pocket friendly and nice selection of food. The ambience is ok. The service is quick and always there at your service. The beverages are priced normal.

Weekend out with some old friends in Abu Dhabi and Casa Goa is the place to be. Thursday evening and the place was packed we were greeted by the smiling manager, soon we were lucky to get a table near to the band area. The trio is very versatile with great voices. Beef Assad and pork roast was a great combination with beer. Friendly service, reasonable pricing. Surely I’ll visit again with my family.

Gud atmosphere.. went with my family.. had a good time. Goan fish curry was authentic.. some dishes are spicy though..but was tasty.. there was live music quite relaxing atmosphere.. loved the evening...

A delight for all those who love Goa and everything goan. the ambience is typical goan. beer is easy on the pocket with lots of special offers and the food will appeal to goan taste buds (even to non-goans like me actually). the xacuti is recommended and so is the cafreal. A great place overall for goan cuisine in abu dhabi.

I am very disappointed today with the way they have billed me with all taxes on my food bill which was not correctly informed at the start of the order. The food taste has also changed and made it a difficult time for my lunch today. The Restraunt need to be updated with their charges and taxes.

I love this place & ambiance. Regularly visit it because of the laid back, not too noisy atmosphere. Their chilly chorizo is amazing and a perfect combination for any drink that you might have. Vindaloo & Goan prawn curry with the wonderful soft pav is a must try as well. If you visiting make sure there’s a big appetite or else it’s a shame. Only set back is- most of the dishes taste very similar to each other. Maybe I am wrong. Tasty nevertheless. Friendly & helpful staff who genuinely take care of you & remember your name.

Good Goan food. But the curries were extra spicy. Chicken crispy for starters was a good choice. Was forced to order some ice cream as we were not prepared for the spicy food. Not much options for drinks.

I have been a regular to Casa Goa since many years but my last visit a few days ago was very disappointing. There were very few customers but the service was very slow and poor. One of the prawn dishes never came to the table.. The person waiting on us was not from Goa or Mangalore and had no idea of the Goan menu. He was definitely not trained on the Goan delicacies. He kept asking his fellow waiter for advice. <br/><br/>Also, the live band was playing old Hindi songs and no Konkani specials were being played. The taste and quality of the food we ordered was also not to the same ranking of my previous visits. If Casa Goa management does not pull up their socks, there will be many disappointed customers like me who will make it their last visit there.

Casa Goa is my truly favorite family drinking place! They have a live band playing indian and english music in the evening which is quite dull till around 11/11:30pm. After that, the music becomes loud and the dance floor becomes full. Ambience becomes lovely after that! Their interiors are divided into 4 areas. The first area is the bar area with tall bar stools and regular chairs. The second area has a few tables in the corner and a dance floor in the center. The third area is a non smoking area, mainly for families. The last one is a smoking area with Darts.<br/>The food is spicy and delicious. I love their Pork Vindaloo Dry and their Chicken Peri Peri the most. They also have a wide variety of tasty seafood appetizers. Although, some of their seafood items are a bit too spicy. <br/>They have many offers on alcohol but its mainly just on beer. Their current offer is 2 complementary tequila shots if you buy a bucket of Foster’s beer. They keep changing their offers in time which is actually a good thing when it comes to alcohol. As you would not want to have the same drink every time you would go to a place. <br/>The staff were really sweet and helpful. Sadly, the ambience is slightly dull until midnight but after midnight they hype things up. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re going to be there until midnight!

Headed here as we were told this is the place to try authentic Goan cuisine in Auh since I enjoy Goan dishes. Not a big fan of the ambience with the purple dimmed out lights. Food wise the sausage rice was good. The other dishes were over spiced too and that comment is coming from an Indian who enjoys spices !The pav wasn't warm. The squid was really rubbery and dint enjoy it at all as the spices had a burnt flavour. Wouldn't head to this place again as I don't think it does justice to the cuisine !

No one is answering my phone. Been trying the minute the restaurant opened. I absolutely enjoy the Goan seafood served by Casa Goa and have been a regular patron of this establishment for more than 12 years at all its locations

visited this place with a group of friends...was not impressed by the ambience of the resaurent...the staff members were good...had ordered a hot and sour chicken soup, chicken xacuti, kobe sukka with coconut and pork vindaloo...the only dish i liked was the soup...the rest of the dishes was a bit too salty....

It has some decent dishes..specially the bombil fry...which is very similar to mumbai standards  ... but it doesnt deliver at home !!!! such a bummer...

A nice decent place with Goan theme and food. Live music is a plus point for the place. You can enjoy with your family, friends and colleagues with booze and some nice Goan curries.

Heard a lot about Casa Goa and we finally got the chance to go for dinner + drinks. This place is not fancy at all and quite chill. Ambiance and decor is average and the lights are all purple and blue (not good for photos). They also have a live band which plays English / Konkani music. <br/><br/>Ordered 3 appetizers: <br/>Chicken lollipop - This was a standard dish, like you get in most Indian restaurants served with sauce. Nothing great.<br/><br/>Chill Prawns - Prawns were cooked in the typical Indian style with masala, sautéed onions, tomatoes and chillies and I personally love this type of preparation so I enjoyed this the most.<br/><br/>Then we ordered something which was supposed to be a mix of prawns and squids. This was prepared more or the less in the same way as chill prawns but the taste was awful as it felt like the squids weren't washed properly and we could get that raw sorta fish taste. We couldn't eat it at all so asked for the dish to be exchanged and the waiter was kind enough to do so. We went for their Potato prawn chops instead which was average and OK in taste.<br/><br/>For main course we ordered Goan prawn curry with rice which I enjoyed. The curry was tangy with hints of coconut and it was thick, however the quantity of prawns seemed too less in all of the main prawn dishes. We also had a couple of Goa beers on the side which kept us happy throughout lol.<br/><br/>They also have an extensive menu with pork preperations. Will be back to try these. Overall, we had a good time and for the cheap food and beer, it wasn't too bad.

Went there today and had the worst service ever.. We first asked for some Goan sausages to which the waiter said that they have stopped serving Goan sausages... Acceptable. Then we asked if they had Mussels to whic the waiter again replied that it wasn't available. Ok. Then we just settled for some peanuts in order to decide what we could order that they would have. Called the manager and asked if we could atleast have some potato chops. He said yes but returned after 10 minutes only to say that the chops were finished. Finally after a lot of struggle, We went on to ask if we can have some fish fingers and some French fries. (now this is the height) he said the fish fingers were available but not the FRENCH FRIES... which place in this world doesn't have FRENCH FRIES!!! Thats like the staple finger food for people who drink... Man.. U gotta shut down if you can't even provide french fries.. Horrible service today..

Food is horrible, don't even consider changing the same dish you ordered, service is too slow n music too loud for the space it has. Same thing that you would order first time would taste completely different the next time, lack of consistency in the quality n taste is too annoying...

Place was refered by a friend and we went there on the eve of Ramadan. It's an Indian (specifically Goan) bar that has live music, dimmer lights (as you can see from the photos) and cheap alcohol. We ordered the Egg Briyani, Rechardo Pomfret, Beef Vindaloo, Pork Ribs, Chapattis and Goan bread and I'll tell you this, they sure don't shy away from the chilly powder. Food took a while to be served. There was only one waitress that night serving everyone. Impressively she remembered our order without writing it down.<br/>Food tasted alright, it was definetly spicy hence those who have a low tolerance either ask for a big bowl of raitha or order the milder curries. The Goan bread is the pav. Fish smelled fishy (sort of like dried fish smell), tasted okay. <br/>The one flaw was that we ordered drinks like whisky and baileys, however we were not asked if it had to be a double or single shot and found at the time of bill payment that we had been served double. We would have preferred if the serving size was clarified rather than assumed.

Goa is where I had my honeymoon. So I decided to head to Casa Goa for one last fling before Ramadan. What was once a decent place to enjoy coastal fare & drinks with quick service had descended into the realm of awful places we should think twice about before visiting. The experience was worse than my honeymoon & marriage. And considering I'm divorced, that's saying a bit about the place!!<br/>They have a very decent offer on Singha beer - 5 bottles in a bucket for dhs 60. So I went for that. Too bad the beer bottles were warm. After the first bottle, I was left to open the others myself. A packet of napkins were kept on the table, the plastic torn thru roughly. I thought I was at a cheap birthday party! :-(<br/>As for the food, the photos I'm uploading alone will be sure to spoil your appetite. The Goan Cigar (my usual favourite) was soggy. The vegetable cutlets were dry & unseasoned. And the mushrooms had a slimy texture, like they went straight from a can with brine into the pan. The mushrooms were small buttons & whole, and the flavour of the onions and tomatoes didn't integrate at all. And don't get me started on the presentation. A roadside Malabari cafeteria does more justice. <br/>What an utter shame!

Out of the way little eatery that is split into 3 zones. Quiet bar, quiet restaurant and larger music area.Drink prices are really attractive and food too. Although mainly a hangout for Goan nationals once you find this little place you will be attracted back. The premises are clean, some hotels<br/>Would be put to shame by the Clean bathrooms.<br/>Food wise very nice, tasty, flavour some, good<br/>Portion size. Live singer in the evening. Great value and if you want a taste of Goa great wee place.

Excellent place if you want to taste the Goan cuisine. Won't say it's the exact Goan meal, but it's probably the only one offering a Goan taste of food with drinks and a live entertaining band all the way from Goa.<br/>
