Amazing staff and service! Loved every bit of serving!
Enjoyed my first visit to Gudee. A cosy restaurant with an extensive menu. The staff demonstrated excellent customer service and knowledge about the items on the menu.
Ratings of the items I tried out of 5:
- Eggplant appetizer with fresh Afghani naan - 4/5
- Kabuli pilau - 3.5/5 (could do with a bit more kick, but the meat was tender and delicious)
- Halva semolina desert - 4/5
The only reservation I have about Gudee is the price point, which for the location is hard to justify, as the cost is on par with a visit to Nobu. If they were 20% less, I'd be convinced of fair value, but I will try out more items on my next visit to see if the price justifies the quality overall.
Tried one of the hidden gems of Abu Dhabi Gudee Pizza. Breakfast was excellent with the Kinder French Toast being one of the most indulgent treats you can find in the city. Dinner was awesome with Kabuli Pulao cooked to perfection and to finish off with the poetic pistachio biscuit milk cake- Wow!!!Excellent service- Gudee Pizza doesn’t offer any discounts but wins your heart with quality...
Food is really delicious, ambiance relaxing.
However, the place was practically empty when we visited and the food took ages to arrive to the table.
Besides that, the only other issue I have with the restaurant is the prices which are unreasonably high.
Their food portions are satisfying along with great taste. However, it is a pricy restaurant.
For their sweets, try all of their milk cakes 🍰 they are so tasty and worth every dirham. (Again, kinda pricy)
The place is very big, and always full house, so you might wanna make a reservation before going ahead.
This is my second time trying an Afghan-cuisine, i think this type of food is gone be on my top list dished. The decor of the place the welcoming of the Arabic “laban”, the comfortable chairs, the variety of the food menu. All of this were combined and did a great job in anticipating my next visit. The only thing that bug me a bit are the prices I believe they were a bit high.
For appetizers tried the samosa really yummy. I have ordered a 3 mix pizza; chips Oman, margarita and buffalo, the first kind become an all time favorite of mine the crust of the pizza was so light that encourage you to eat more with that drizzle of olive oil in top, just perfect. Highly recommend it for a change with a huge group to have a bite of all their goodies.
Is it only me or do you also day dream of such mouth watering milk cakes especially this one from @gudeepizzacafe located at the capital city of UAE. Their saffron milk cakes are the best we’ve had till date. Which is your favorite milk cake?

We enjoyed the night with delicious dishes, coffee and cakes. Service was good. I would give 5 for food and service but it was way overpriced so I would put 4.
what i love the most in this place is they hve the most selection of pizza and dessert. quinoa burata salad is the best but a bit pricey, price is not reasonable for jst a salad. pistachio lava cake and rose cke and kinder pncke is really good and will definitely go bck again to try all their piza and desert
