It was a nice experience.its worth the price of 49 AED each for both the grill and hotpot unlimited.They need more staff though but the chinese waitress was commendable for her hardwork that is why we gave her a good tip.You need to pay them in cash though since they dont accept cards.The chairs need re upholstering as it looks worn out and dirty.A new set of plates and bigger drinking glass next time..But overall, it was excellent and worth the price.
What i like very much in this restaurant is you can have both grill bbq and hotpot in ONE unlike other restaurants who catered the same..When in comes to menu price for me its affordable because?? Unlimited refill� other restaurants served only for how many persons as per their preferred price therefore it is limited..here you can eat as much as you CAN�..5� for food and price. *SULIT* � in pinoy lingo..Ambiance � you have to work on the cleanliness more coz its next to orderliness right *finger quote*� staff and services i would say not bad buttt not that good also..neutral lemme say..Overall coz its my Bday� during that day when we went there ofcourse i have availed the bday promo� yasss!!! � its a good experienced though and all us got knocked out (full�)..Keep up the good work Red castle team and enhance more.�

My favorite Chinese restaurant. If you want to taste genuine Chinese food, this is the place.
One of the best restaurant that I’ve been! The server especially Noghindra is very accomodating and is a lot of help especially for a first timer (me)!!! Will definitely go back!!!

Red castle is real chinese restaurant. The chinses food is very very delicious. next time our family will still be here. I will also invite my friends to visit red castle.
It is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in Abu Dhabi. Good portions and good value for money. The restaurant is always full with Chinese groups and we had to wait a little bit for our dishes as the chefs were busy with the preparation for the group. Interesting and authentic Chinese dishes on the menu.
Authentic Chinese in town. Great food and good value of money. Love this restaurant but it is better to avoid the lunch time if you do not wish to share the floor with Chinese tourist groups who can be too lively and obviously the service gets too slow.
A young Chinese lady who served us in the beginning was very pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately another service staff seemed to need basic training to be a waiter.
The most authentic Chinese food in Abu Dhabi... Service is a bit poor, especially when busloads of tourists come for lunch, but the owners are quite friendly enough. Interiors are bland, but feels like a typical Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong. Come for the food, it's worth it.
A true authentic Chinese restaurant where the owner will serve you and would note down if there is any room for improvement, the food is just amazing and it's located in the heart of Abu Dhabi
Definitely underrated, more people need to know about it because the food is amazing. The only bad thing about the restaurant is probably the location and that's about it.

A small little family-run Chinese restaurant, hidden behind the cluster of buildings in front of Madinat Zayed, has the authenticity of what other "Chinese" restaurants like Oasis and Kowloon lack. This little restaurant called Red Castle is not given enough credit and is not advertised enough. People need to dine here to taste REAL Chinese food! No one knows it better than the Chinese themselves!
Being a faithful customer, i have met the man of the restaurant, including his wife and his kids who are studying abroad at the moment. They have all worked at the restaurant at some point in their lives in order to make it a success. A good natured family who always greet you with a smile at the door.
The restaurant has simply about 8 tables and is rarely ever empty. All the staff are pure Chinese and they know their stuff when it comes to food. The prices are brilliant and quality of food as good. Upon request, the chef will also avoid adding the unhealthy MSG to your food, which is present in most Chinese food.
If Red Castle is anything, it's value for money. The ambiance is wonderful. You may be seated on a large round table if you're in a big group of friends, or you could also be seated in a quite corner where no one can see you for a nice family dinner.
Pass by the restaurant on a Friday and you may be able to see a hand written note on the door saying "We are at Church on Fridays, God Bless YOU!". That's enough to let you know that you're in for a good meal, under the hands of great people.

Red Castle is a hidden restaurant in the middle of the very busy streets of Madinat Zayed. If you are going to spot this restaurant you need to look for the red round lamps which are a lot in that area because of the many other Chinese restaurants.
The restaurant does not look fancy at all, once you get in you will find the cashier table and the kitchen, the seating area is up the stairs. It is nice and small but not fancy at all. the first thing caught my eye is the staff, the chefs, the cashier and the waitress are Chinese. When I asked them they said they are actually a family and this is their own business.
A Chinese restaurant operated by a Chinese family, this is a combination for success. all over the world, the best restaurants are the ones operated by families. They have their own touch to the recipes, and they will always take care of the customer because this is their business and making a customer happy is the key to their success. A hired chef or waiter might not care because its just a job that he was forced to take, but a family business is always looked after like their own baby.
I have to admit, I have tried Chinese food before, and one of the best restaurants in the UAE is "Hakkasan". This restaurant is going to have to work on food and food only since they have a not so nice location and average seating area.
When I came with my friends we opted for the already well known dishes in order to compare with other restaurants. Red castle manages to offer very good Chinese food with prices that do not leave a dent in your wallet. Red Castle is definitely worth trying, and it has room for improvement.
I really hope to see more family based restaurants in Abu Dhabi, it will sure add something to the food industry.
