Loved this place... loved the ambience and food... the combination of bbq and alcohol is the best.
Very polite and quick service, food is great too.
I enjoyed my dinner here. It was my first time to be dine here and my experience is great. We ordered JJampong and bimbimbop. Along with these are the side dishes that were absolutely tasty. I like most of all the kimchi. The iced tea is prepared well.
The staff are all welcoming. The staff who served us knows exactly what is the content of the menu. When we got bill, she is very helpful on all our inquiry about the bill.
The ambiance is good. Not too loud and good place for conversation with friends.
This place is worth visiting.
The staff were nice enough to welcome us even though we arrived near their closing time. I’m so thankful for that since it was my first visit and I was looking forward to it.
The food was good and the ambiance is great too. I recommend it and I’m definitely visiting again soon.

Our first time when they moved to Cristal hotel, still Good food and service. Love the place. They have private rooms if you require. We tried the grilled beef, clear noodles and some sushi
Absolute hidden gem. Not sure why I haven’t heard of this place before. Ordered one of the set lunches with some extra kimchi. - did not disappoint at all. Kimchi seemed fresh and the soup was authentic. Great service and tastefully done interiors. Worth a second visit and probably more. Going into my hidden gem list.
It was a great experience to dine in this asian restaurant..i love there fresh sliced salmons and sushi.it was very clean and neat.i would love to come back again here
Went there yesterday. It was our first experience of Korean restaurant in UAE. And we loved it. The place is pretty quite, didn’t book a table in advance. Very quick and good service. They started to bring tiny appetisers before we ordered any food))
Food was delicious! I couldn’t stop eating even when I was full. They also gave us a complimentary salad, which was very nice of them)) They serve draft Thai beer, and unfortunately for me - no wine, but it was not a big problem, as I was happy with water))
Prices are very attractive as well! They also do some lunch menu. So will definitely come back again!
If you’re a huge fan of Korean food this is the place for you . Located on the top floor of eclipse boutique suits . This sure is a hidden gem in the city . These guys have succulent juicy barbecue . Honestly who doesn’t love Korean barbecue . All the amazing flavor and cooked to perfection.
The good thing about this place is... I liked and I’m satisfied with the food we eat, their service was good, they are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our spicy meal. Nothing bad comments about this restaurant.

Good Korean Restaurant in the Eclipse Boutique Suites Building. Had something from the lunch menu. The presentation of the food on several plates was nice, and the food itself flavorful. The dishes were not very spicy, but chili sauce and green chilies were provided to spice up the food to ones taste. Service was friendly and attentive. The dining rooms were tastefully decorated, one had a TV.
I was impressed with The Taste of Korea and plan to return.
And finally, we've found this K-resto in the same building of Eclipse hotel, penthouse. Usually, we are always eating in one particular K-resto somewhere in Defence Road and we've been familiar to the taste of food there. So my sister suggested to try another K-resto and we found this! The place is soo cozy and nice. Staffs were very accomodating and approachable. Food was amazing! Well, I'm always fond of Korean food and everything in Korea. So for sure i will be bias on my opinion. ✌️ But i will definitely suggest you guys to try here.
I visited Taste of Korea with a friend... food was nice and authentic. Dishes are more on the spicy side, so my friend (who doesn't tolerate very well spicy food) couldn't eat many of them. I like their dishes, but I think there are better options for Korean food in Abu Dhabi.

I visited this restaurant last Feb 2015, this is the first time I will eat Korean food, maybe because of my fascination in Korea drama. I decide to try there cuisine. We tried this food in the menu *photo attached* because I forgot the name of the food, it's been two years since my last visit.
Overall you'll never go wrong in this restaurant, food wise ambiance for me is perfect.
If you're looking for a authentic Korean food you'll never go wrong in this restaurant. Even if there food is quite expensive, your not wasting your money in a quality good food.

I am not aware of this place not until my friend told me about it. We're craving for Korean food, good thing we found this. I've celebrated my birthday here with my galfriends last year. It is four of us. We are quite excited so we tried Set Menu 1 - with BBq, Seafood Hotpot, Dumpling. We also ordered seperate Bibimbap and Soju. It is delicious compare to Hankook and Manna Land but more expensive. We paid AED 300+ but totally worth it if you have a good appetite. More photos at my blog: joanfarillon.com
Interesting place inside an apartment and not easy to find! Nice feel to the place. Food was very good, especially the Bibbimbap and barbecue was fun. Probably a little pricey for us but a good experience overall.

Hello ladies and gentlemen. Been a while since I've posted anything but let's hope I can get back into the swing of things.
Despite google maps directions, TOK wasnt too difficult but not easy to find. Very close to WTC, TOK is situated at the top floor of eclipse hotel just down the road from student Biryani.
We came for lunch. Rather glad I did. TOK offers a lunch set comprising of different mains and accompaniments per set. I got the beef bulgogi set and my partner the beef galbi set and tried a bit of both.
The bulgogi. Smokey and slightly sweet, this dish introduced a new asian flavour to my tongue. Smokeyness from what I assumed to be a super hot wok, this and the sweetness added from a combination of sauces with the vegetables made this a winning combination.
However if you get tired of sweet, the accompaniments provide different flavours to change the theme of the mouth, aside from the japchae (noodles ) which was similar in flavour profile to the bulgogi. These include a soup with a mellow miso like flavour to cleanse the palate. Kimchi for sour and spicy. Rice as a base and contrast for the flavours. Sweet but spicy prawns. And finally your standard fried gyoza for a taste and meatier alternative with chilly paste, chopped chilly and fish sauce beside it to enhance the gyoza.
The galbi. This was beautifully tender, slightly thicker rib meat cuts in comparison to the paper thin bulgogi and succulent with every bight minus the smokeyness experienced earlier.
The only downfalls were that the food was warm and I would rather it have been a bit hotter when served. I would've also preferred the prawns to be crunchy but they were soft instead, not a big fan texture-wise.
Needless to say I have a happy tummy.

Great place for set menu!
We are party of six but we ordered the set2 for 4-5 people. There was various side dishes as you will expect from a Korean reataurant, dumplings, steamed egg, pancake and 2 sets of bbq meat, 2 bibimbaqs and 2 steamed rice and a large hotpot. Boy, it was too much food for us. Bbq meat we had them done for us in the kitchen we as we were there for lunch and didnt want to smell. Ordered the marinated kalbi and it was delicious! Meat was nicely marinated and cooked, comparable to Madang / Hankook / Mannaland standard. We also had the spicy tuna hotpot stew which was surprising so good!
Meal ended off with a strong cup of coffee with milk and we all left with satisfied stomachs.

This place is designed more as a place for in-house guests & the local Korean community than a regular publicly advertised restaurant. The hostess seemed a bit disoriented when I walked in asking for a table. She decided to confirm that I knew it was a Korean place before I was led inside (perhaps they don't get too many Indians!! Haha). I was seated at a table of my choice & the extra settings removed. The only thing I lacked at the table & which I never got throughout the meal was a box of tissue paper or cloth napkin. The server was extremely polite & hospitable, but it is difficult catching her attention if you're sitting facing the far end wall. I ordered a beer, which was served in a ceramic teapot!! Maybe licensing issues, I don't know. It just felt weird. As gratis sides, they offer kimchi, boiled beans, sprouts, grated potato and carrot and a sweet macaroni. They served me an egg white broth-like soup (I'm assuming that comes free with an order) on a heated bowl. And for the main dish, I tried their chilly prawns from the appetiser section. One of the most flavoursome sauces I've had in recent times. The prawn was also cooked well. Billing was quick & efficient.
Loved the food! Tried beef galbi and tofu stew..both were amazing...
Service was quick and friendly.
P.s. Don't order appetizers, they offer enough things from their side to sample!
Firstime to be here, Its a very nice place for an authentic korean food, the seafood hotpot was very nice, the kimchi and appetizers are all nice. The servers are very hospitable. Tried Soju for the firstime. Korean food is well known for the balance of the food not too salty, But it was tasty. We will comeback. Gomabseubnida. ₭₭🎎🎎

It was way better than I expected. My expectations were average upon reading the reviews. I just had to go with it because of the limited Korean cuisine options in the city. To my surprise, the food was good, the place was cozy/classy, and the customer service was excellent (I read comments about slow service, but that wasn't a problem at all when I was there. All I had to do was press the call waiter button on the side of the table.).
It's a bit pricey for a Korean resto. But then again, I come from a Southeast Asian country where this food is served on a way more affordable price.
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. Thanks to the staff for constantly accommodating. Kudos!

Having tried all the Korean restaurants in town a few times over , I won't say this is the best nor would I say, the worst. In my opinion, definitely not lacking in taste.
Every time I come here, the quality is consistent. Yes, some hits and miss depending on what you order but they do the Korean staples (eg. Jabchae, Seafood Pancake etc) well and the BBQ is great.
The Set Menu for 2 is a great value for money set! Not only does it have BBQ but also a big hearty pot of seafood stew and dumplings! I always supplement it with the seafood pancake and with that, you have enough for 3 or 4 even!
If BBQ, always go for the Beef Galbi ... It has a nice balance of fats and is extremely tender and juicy! The Spring Onion Chicken (PaDak) is also a very flavorful dish of fried chicken coated with sweet sauce ... Both dishes goes very well with a hot bowl of steam rice.
The complimentary side dish can be abit mediocre at times but the complimentary steam egg custard is absolutely delicious. Fluffy, light and flavorful.
This restaurant although not the finest in town, does dish out some pretty solid Korean favorites. You know it can't be that off when your Korean friends enjoyed the meal as much as you do.
Is still my top 3 place to visit for a hearty Korean meal. Best with a big group so there is always a variety to share. 😝
I don't understand what gives the previous reviewers to comment on authentic asian cuisine. The taste of Korea is a wonderfully homely place for all of us who live far away from our home in the fast east. Food is authentic and delicious,their service is consistently good with our warm oriental hospitality.
Best all of you who didn't appreciate a homely food stay away, so we can have our peace to have a great meal.

I was a bit skeptical but a friend of mine brought me here, I must say it was a very good decision. We ordered bimbimpab and it was served with seafood soup. Everything was awesome, brilliantly cooked and the taste was truly authentic. Must place to visit. Ambience is great along with good music to keep all ur senses engaged.
Great quality of food but not in the pocket, i think almost all Korean restaurants here in the UAE have got the same price, anyway.
Staff are friendly but sometimes they aren't attentive enough (have to go look for them outside).
Im still giving it a 4.5 as i give high percentage for the food taste and quality.
I'm a bit hesitant at first because of the previous reviews from other customers but the food is awesome. Seafood hotpot is a must try though I'm quite disappointed with the ambiance or it's just me expecting the traditional low table 😁
Well, we had visited Taste of Korea before and chose to do so again. And I will say that it was not a disappointment. We were recommended the set menu for two… a little too much for two (relatively poor eaters), but once we bit into the fare placed on our table, we more than did justice to the food.
I love the seafood hotpot and the barbecue ribs (we chose to have them barbecued in the kitchen) and the kimchi I must say is amongst the best in town.
Maybe a little pricey (considering hotel taxes), but certainly worth it!
I'll be visiting again for sure.

Great experience with authentic Korean Cuisine. Food was great, but the furniture and staff left quite a lot of room for improvement. The menu could also use some work, as it makes ordering a bit difficult for first-timers. The food was excellent though.
Not very well versed with Korean food except khimchi. But dining here completely changed that. Try the ramen. It's a big warm bowl of comfort. The staff are extremely attentive though the food took long to arrive. Not many chicken dishes though.
Wide array of choices of Korean food. They only have high tables and chairs which doesn't feel like Korean to me. They're suppose to have those low tables where we sit on the ground ao it would feel more like Korean. Their food was delicious but too expensive compared to other Korean restos.
Welcomed at the table with 3 tiny starters. Pickled white raddish, beef chili fry and spicy cabbage all complimentary. We also got fried dumplings and a small plate of cut fruits for free.
Our main course was the seafood hotpot which was tasty, nice mix of squids, crabs, prawns, noodles and veggies.
Spice level is bearable as long as your Indian / Thai or Sri Lankan.
I would suggest ordering a hot pot (medium) for 4 people (recommend 2) so that u have enough place to nibble on some of their stir-fry which I have heard is good.
We love this place. The food is amazing. The service is always good. It is quite expensive. We usually pay around AED 400 for dinner for 2 persons. But we always go back because we love the food. I highly recommend the Spicy Soft Tofu Soup and the Grilled Eel BBQ.
i didnt have the time to stay in the resturant but i ordered kimchi chigae ''kimchi stew '' which is one of my fav south korean meal the taste was amazing the kimchi was very very good and the beef was also a nice surprise ,, i have also ordered once tteobokki and i keep loving this place more and more the amount of the tteobokki portion i had was very sufficient for two .the only thing i would like to point is the portion of rice that i had with the kimchi stew was very small portion and also there were no side dishes which was also a disappointment to me since in my experience in korean dining side dishes are provided with the meal you ordered ...
The ambiance is good, one of the best Korean cuisine! The foods are very tasty and delicious. The staff are friendly and the service is good..
I used to say Hankook is the most authentic Korean restaurant in Abu Dhabi. This restaurant is competitive to Hankook. I think the beef BBQ in Hankook is nicer but you can't find grilled eel nor pork in Hankook. At the same time, you can't find duck BBQ in this restaurant. Bibimbap is nice and so do the dumplings. Seafood Hotpot is quite spicy although we order the regular one but not the spicy one. Prices in both restaurants are the same. You need to pay 16% tax in this restaurant though. This restaurant's decoration maybe slightly better than Hankook's. So I can't really tell which one is better than the other but both this restaurant and Hankook are the best two Korean restaurants in Abu Dhabi.

Good food and prices are very affordable. Ms. Dina was very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the marinated beed bbaq and seafood hotpot.
First time here and definitely will come back! We love the grilled beef it's so delish! We also ordered bibimbap, jajangmeon noodles and stir fried octopus we all liked it! Mashkita!

Had never eaten Korean food before,so I had no high expectations whatsoever.But the restaurant did manage to impress me.Its located on a penthouse,so has a good view of city and the interiors are quite decent,I liked the chairs,quite comfortable
Ordered the set menu 1,it's more than enough for 2-3 people.On arrival,they present you with a variety of sauces and pickles.
For appetizer,we had the fried dumplings,which was the best dish I ate for the day,liked the vegetable fillings,it had a soya sauce dip
For the main courses,they come and cook the food on your table,quite fancy and it shows the freshness of the food.
The grilled beef ribs were average,what you get in any American/Mexican restaurant,had no idea what's Korean in that
The seafood stew was the better dish,it had everything I could think of,crabs,shrimps etc..sounds weird,but it tastes like tomato soup,I liked it.
They also served rice and some fruits for dessert.service was excellent,since there were only 3 tables full,have to give full marks for that.
The only complaint I had was that they charge 200 Dhs and give a 500ml bottle of water for 2 people,they could give a 1.5 liter one,not much of a difference price wise.
Overall,good restaurant to try out a different cuisine
Tried and tasted the food...for first time visitors, i would suggest Set Menu 1. Very reasonable price even if it's good for 2 pax, it can be shared by 3. Clean place, courteous staff, fast service, highly recommended for those who'd like to try. Also, do not forget to try their complimentary iced coffee :-)
I was finally able to try the food. It wasn't bad at all. In fact everything we tried was yummy. We had bulgogi, kimchi pancake and dukboki. It is a bit pricy, but worth it once in a while.
the taste of Korea is located at the penthouse of Eclipse Hotel nearby WTC mall. we were amazed of our first tine experience in a korean restaurant. their staff is very warmth and approachable. ambiance is cozy and classy! food is 5/5. at first we had difficulty, because were unfamiliar of korean cuisines and we dint know what to order. but then one of their staff assist and informed us with regards to their set menu's.
they offer set menu's for 2, 4-5 persons and more which includes their top of the chart meals already. our experience had been superb! quite expensive but is worthy of the quality and taste if their food! would love to come back so soon and try other stuff! two thumbs up!!!

Back after 2 months. Had incredible pork & tofu soup, marinated pork BBQ, seafood soup and tempura. Upgrading my rating from 4 to 5 stars! But why would one of the chefs not wear a mask??
Really great food and prices! The all-you-can-eat BBQ (89aed) is a deal. The spicy beef soup will melt your brain. The sweet-and-sour chicken is a perfect late night snack. We come here more and more often.
Only negative note: one of the waiter is quite loud, inattentive, and won't wear his mask properly.

Really good food. I had the bimbimbap. Good flavours. The goechujang was really well made up. The banchan was really good too. Legit kimchi and dried fish. So tasty. The soup that accompanied the bibimbap was interesting too. It was a somewhat fishy kimchi-jjigae with mushrooms, quite interesting.
I would recommend this place for sure. The bbq looks really good and if their bibimbap is anything to go by the rest of their food must be well proper.
There are drink specials too. Buy 2 drafts get 1 free. Cass on tap would have made this an even more nostalgic experience for me.
Pull in and get your Korean nosh on!

Was looking for an authentic korean cuisine experience and The taste of korea give its closest rendering to korean food. Delicious and fresh ingredients, courteous staff and good ambiance. A cute instax photo after meal. Lovely
