Though we don’t enjoy having food in open space as this outlet is just right inside the heart of a famous mall food court though ..
But absolutely devour dosa , chicken biryani & methi chicken .. Also must try chole bhature yummlicious ..

I have come to like Dosa over time, mostly vegetarian. Then one time I was craving for indian food with a friend while we were in Mushrif mall and decided to try Dalchini, I thought why not try their Chicken Dosa for a change. I made the right choice! It was so tasty! Savory in just the right amount. I don’t like the idea of it being served after 8 pm (it’s what we’ve been told the second time we came but not quite sure if it was just that day) just because my craving can’t be gratified immediately 😂 although, for me, time exclusivity in a specific item on the menu makes it more special (only if it is proven yummy - like this chicken dosa 😁) so I’m rating this restaurant 4 for this special dosa, their chole bhature, and friendly staff.
Enjoyed the most delicious butter chicken with biryani rice. Chicken was breast of chicken & very tender. Not a huge amount of chicken but enough, however loads of butter sauce, yummy! 30 dhirhams wasn't too bad to pay for dinner in a food court.
Food are amazing! Portion are huge! And quality is very good! Price is much cheaper than outside. Im comparing with India Palace ( which is also very good) where price are higher. Its not a fancy place, so if you want to eat quality food instead of that burgers you can choose this place!
This is my favourite chai spot...The food is well priced and delicious. Always friendly service and fresh tasty food. Favourite meals are puneer dish and prawn biryani.
On every Thursday we used to order Chicken and mutton Briyani from my office.
The best Briyani with nice packing in the promised time.

The best Indian food in Mushriff Mall. We had many times in Dalchini. I tried their Dosa, Chicken and mutton Briyani, it never failed.
I like their delivery orders because of less time delivery and hygienic packing materials.

As mentioned by other reviewers, the tea here is must try. This tea is probably the best in the area.
Being an only indian restaurant in the mall, we often end up eating in this outlet.
The grills exceeded our expectations in terms of taste.
However we found a bit of discrepancy in the food portions. We always order Mix Grills which is more than enough for two people and we always end up in wasting the food. Therefore we order Chicken tikka anarkali this last time and found the protion was not big enough to cover 2 people. We ended up in ordering more.
Chicken Biryani in this restaurant is a no go.

Updated 12.12.17: Tried veg this time... Bindi masala (Exceptional), Paneer Mutter. Chapatis were soft and freshly made. Also ordered the Badam milk and orange juice.

Food not bad at all. Just ambiance is noisy as its within a mall.
8 to 12 min waiting time for food.
Order for a take away and food was excellent special their Biryani , with good value for money.

Seriously this outlet has over exceeded my expectations for Tasty Indian food around the Abu Dhabi area... I never expected this ever soo quiet outlet in one of the busiest Food Court is packed with such mind-blowing taste... We ordered Mughlai Chicken, Methi Chicken with Butter Naan and Biryani Rice and all of them ticked every bit of good Food standards... Mughlai Chicken served with sunny-side up was my 1st Taste with rice... its like an Asian twist to it... For Indian taste in UAE - I'm a fan of this Outlet for now... 5 on 5 and a high FIVE to the Chef of this place...
Based on home delivery of Masala dosa, the delivery was very nice and quick, properly delivered, neat and clean.. the taste was amazing but should be less spicy.. I would have preferred to have it on spot to enjoy the crispness

I have been to Dalchini in Al Mushrif Mall, As usual it was awesome taste of India Making you feel at home. Love it's Sweet Mango lessi & Biryani which is served in a clay pot... We ordered Handi Chicken Biryani,Butter chicken and Butter Naan and it was really well cooked. Chicken was tender and tasty.. We finished it with Gulab jamun & Mango lessi which I had after a very long time in UAE and it was apt desert to complete our dinner...........Thank you Dalchini...............
best restaurant for every kind of dosa.. they tastes really amazing with fast service too. i go there especially for having dosas and never disappointed. cant wait to go there soon
I came here for a business meeting and wanted to have a wholesome meal that would last for my long day ahead. The food was good and the service was fast, will surely come back again.
You can try a nice indian food..here.. They do have some live counter as well which is open at in evening. There pot biryani is awesome.. c u soon
Tried Biryani inside a pot! One of the best dished ever tasted (really chilly 🔥) Have many choices for lunch / dinner. Good with family and friends.
Recently been there unplanned. Tried Chhole Bhatura and Chicken Kathi Roll. This is not enough to rate a Hotel, still had a nice time with whatever I had that day. Will try once again for sure to know it better. They got some options in Group-on too, not bad to try with that this time
This place is very convenient for me to take away & Dining . The restaurant is nice & Dishes are delicious. I normally go in for the Handi Biryani which is superb . The chicken tikka masala is also yum ! I recommend this restaurant for their yummy dishes....
One of the best Indian Restaurant in town. If you are in Mushrif Mall, do try dalchini. Do not drink tea from there; you might not like it as it will be too sweet. The tandoor items are delicious. The Chapathi is so soft. Chapathi with Chicken Tikka Masala is awesome. Recommended:)
I loved the dosas here! Gotta try the masala dosa on offer - the chutney that they give is so delicious! Definitely a great place to hangout with mates and have a good meal!
I like the dishes here very much. I always visits here with my family & i also suggest my friends & relatives to visit there. As compared to other food court restaurants the prices are very reasonable. The special handi biriyani is a treat for your stomach.
One of the best Indian Restaurant in Abu Dhabi (in Shopping Malls). The food is simply delicious with a variety of Indian dishes. The price are bit high but still it's worth your money. The counter staff is also very professional & friendly. Whenever I go to Mushrif Mall, always visits Dalchini Restaurant. Cheerio!!! Keep up the good work guys.
Was looking for small comfort food news ordered Dal Makhni n Garlic Naan. Dal reminded of Delhi' typical office lunch eateries around CP. Good taste. Dosas only after 7 pm.
Have been here multiple times with my friends. The food is yummy and staffs are very professional. Just that it takes a little time for Handi biryani to be served,it was awesome. A good Indian restaurant I would say with yummy kebabs and curries.
The special handi chicken biriyani quantity should be more. Taste is just ok nothing great. They should improve on the taste.
Their tandoori grill was good but they took a lot of time to make it.
One of the best places that serves butter chicken in town! The sauce is delicious, the chicken is all white meat and cooked to perfection and the naan bread is always fresh and tastes amazing! The staff is very nice and very accommodating, took my brother in law there, who's by the way allergic to cashews, for some butter chicken goodness and they remade him his own version without any cashews!
I've also tried a couple of their vegetarian dishes and they were all yummyyy! And on top of all that, the prices are very very good for the excellent quality of food that you get. A must try!!
Very smooth and clean delivery. No smudge or grease stains in the delivery plastic bag, the takeaway presentation is neat and very unusual for indian resturant delivery.
The dosa was very authentic, right portion, and comes with 3 side dishes.

Pretty good restaurant in the food court of Mushriff mall. Din expect food to be so good actually. Very nice combos with some nice Indian combinations like Nan and butter chicken. Good food and fast service. Punjabi chana masala is a must try from here.
I really enjoyed the food in Dalchini , If you like indian spicy food , i really advise you to give it a try .. i have tried many Indian restaurants before but this one is really the best one i have ever been to so far ..
Tried chk. Handi biryani...dalchini sp. Handi biryani and mutton dum biryani...all very good in taste...took paneer combo...not so good in taste...its very bland in taste...service is very nice.

I choose to dine in Dalchini due to recommendation from a Facebook group called “Abu Dhabi Q&A”. A lot of eateries were recommended in response to my question in that page but I choose Dalchini due to easy access from airport road to Mushrif Mall on my way to KCA from Abu Dhabi city. No traffic jam were experienced to enter or exit from the mall.
Upon reaching Dalchini in Level 2, I noticed that this quick service restaurant have a variety of Indian food in their menu like a fine dining restaurant and very impressed with the counter staff making suggestions to fit your requirement. We have ordered their most popular chicken Handi Biriyani served in clay pot, Butter chicken, Mixed Grill, Tikka Masala, Mutton Rogan Josh, Dalchini Chicken Kabab and the traditional karak tea served in clay cup. The curries and grills comes with complimentary bread basket /rice and cola. To our surprise the food ordered are ready earlier than expected, served nicely and hot. The Biriyani served in the clay pot were sealed with flour and cooked. A Nice aromatic flavor spread around the area when we open the flour pot seal. I didn’t like the butter chicken as it was not spicy at all. The grill was amazing and tasty. Finally we ended up with stunning karak tea. One of my friend want to try the live Dosa going around the counter but our stomach were already full so decided next time a try. I never tried Dosa in my life but will visit Dalchini again to try it.

Enjoyed family lunch @ Dalchini last Saturday. Everything was freshly made with quality ingredients. We tried lots of variety dishes. The clay pot biriyani was certainly unique and traditional. We also ordered Methi chicken,Tandoori, Tikka & Authentic butter chicken which was simply superb. The Naans were very well prepared and not charred to black like what we warily come across in some restaurants. The taste is amazing and really reminds you of a true Indian flavor. I really recommend everyone should try there once and enjoy the real taste of Indian food.

Had lunch on last friday, very tasty food especially Hundi chicken biriyani, tried their weekend special corriandor chicken, it was yummy, recommend every foodie to have taste of dalchini
I am quite a regular at this joint. Pretty good indian food at reasonable rates. The combos are quite delicious. You can opt for a veg or non veg option. The chicken tikka masala with naan is an awesome combo. They have quite some south indian combos which are pretty good as well. Overall a good enough place to grab some indian food !

It would be unreasonable to expect actual restaurant type consistency from their food, so in all fairness, this outlet should be held to the standard of a fast food joint and not necessarily an actual full fledged restaurant.
We have eaten from here on more than a few occasions, and the Biryani is never consistent, ranging from exceptional, to quite bland. That being said, their Tandoori items are good and would be something else I would recommend. They also have a Dosa station, and although the Dosa is good, a damper for me with the Dosa is I prefer my Sambhar (which is a gravy accompanying most South Indian food items) to be piping hot, which adds to my enjoyment of the meal, but because at the food-court-Dalchini, its served in a small plastic cup, its obviously room temperature.
All in all, at the Mushriff mall food court, it gives added choice to the standard mall food court fare of burgers and fried chicken, and if you are not in the mood for that, give Dalchini a try.
We often visit Mushrif mall food court and I regularly visit Dalchini. I visited this afternoon to enjoy some of their always tasty and reasonably priced food. The chicken Tikka Masala was good as always and I had it with the garlic Naan which was prepared fresh. If you are ever in the mall don't miss this place as it is quick, cheap and reliable.
The dining area in the foodcourt is really well kept and clean, there is even a plug point to charge your phone will you eat. I had the tea, which was served in a lovely clay pot, took me back to the time I visited rural India and had the best street-side chai there. Service was quick, efficient and the biryani was good in quality and quantity.
A good place to get an Indian lunch if you’re at the Mushrif Mall.
Those who want to try out real Indian food would never miss out Dalchini. Great place for Indian food with value for money. The biriyani is a must eat. The tea provided on clay pot was awesome. We will try out the butter chicken, kabab and roti next time. Will visit again and will recommend others
I was in mushrif mall abudhabi and saw this new restaurent with great ambiance tried rogonjosh mutton, mix grill was tender and juicy the kabab was quite fine with dosa......
