cutlery was sent even if i chose not to
Ang fancy ng drinks nila. . You have to try. . Unli-rice with different option. .
Grilled chicken is very tender and it just literally melts in your mouth. .
Di man ako nakain ng isaw but it feels homey kasi bihira mag serve ibang pinoy restau ng isaw at adidas dito sa UAE and its available in this restaurant.
Another good place to have pinoy food, the gimmick is really good as it is famous for pinoy to have unlimited rice, but take note they have flavored unlimited rice which made it a lot better and made them unique to other pinoy restaurant. love this place love their food , service a bit slow but still worth it.
A taste of PINAS! I love the food here and recommended to all the kabayans. If you're looking for a lutong bahay or street foods just visit this place.
Good Filipino food. They have buffet if you want. Affordable prices. Staffs are friendly. Place is big and clean. You can choose lots of nice combos. They have nice drinks too.
Been here for so many times. If you love Filipino Dishes, this must be on your list. =) Tried there Fried Isaw, that's so crunchy, and there like never-ending bowl of Calamares partnered with Bagoong Rice! And never forgey their super tender beef Kare-kare with Bagoong, of course! =)
One of the first restaurants that offered unli rice. The ambiance is cool. It’s just that the location is hard to find unless you’re around the same location.
I love the Bagoong Rice and the drinks. I’ve been for quite some time now, they already changed some of their food so I better check them again soon.
Service - Ordered for delivery. A very friendly
gentleman took my order. Got my
food in an hour. Wish it could be
faster.
Food - Loved their concept of different
unlimited oriental rice flavours
(Adobo,Bagaong, Beef Steak and
Yangchow for dine in only).
We felt like seafood and got the Garlic
Buttered Shrimp (needed more
garlic), Milkfish Belly Strips
and The Shrimp Sizzler (Didn’t like it
much). I wanted to try all the rice
flavours but they forgot to put the
Beef Steak Rice.
Loved the Bagaong and Adobo rice
alot.
Overall - Not so pricey. Typical filipino taste
and quality. Will definetly try other
dishes and hopefully get the Beef
Steak Rice and make room for their
desserts.
This restaurant is one of the few that offers pinoy dishes with a twist. Each kind of food has it's own quality that you will surely keep coming back. The adobo rice and beef was tasty as well as the chocolate cake. To enjoy their unli rice, don't order for delivery 😊
The food choices are suitable to our taste. We got the Puto bumbong which is delicious. We like also pansit habhab, t-bone steak, and all kinds of rice options.
The ambiance is so cozy.
The service is excellent. The staff are friendly, fast and helpful.

T-bone grilled steak at it’s best! Authentic but modernized Filipino foods. Great drinks plus unlimited rice in different varieties and flavors. Clean and good ambient place to eat.
Rice overdose it is! 😊

Value/Affordability ✔️

A great place to satisfy your cravings with affordable price and unlimited rice of your choice. 😋
👍🏻👍🏻
Literally that you'll be overdose with rice. I like their variety of rice. They have bagoong rice, bistek rice and adobo rice and its unlimited. I ordered tbone steak which is superb with bagoong rice. My friend tried a set meal which I forgot the name but it has soup, mixed veggies, adobo rice and I'm not sure if its chicken adobo or beef steak then her meal also includes a mango ice cream. We also ordered the isaw and it was really good specially the vinegar. Then we asked for another round of rice but this time I tried their bistek rice. But I still like the bagoong rice because of its unique flavor on it. For drinks I had the frisky apple then rebellous tea for my girl. I highly recommend this place if you visit Abu Dhabi. You really must try it.
AMBIANCE: What I first noticed upon entering was its interior design and how spacey it was inside. It’s more like a contemporary house design and dining in gives you that feels like you’re just eating at home or at a friend’s home.
❤❤❤
FOOD: This restaurant is known for its unlimited rice! What I liked best about them is that they have a wide variety of options from their menu — from beef, vegetables, seafood, and desserts! Same goes with their rice options. You can choose between adobo rice, bagoong rice, beef steak rice or plain rice. Plus if you’re craving for Filipino street foods like isaw, chicken feet, chicken stick, et al, they have it here!
The Frisky Green Apple juice was sooo good, it’s not too sweet, and I totally recommend it!
I also loved the Grilled Salmon! It was perfectly cooked/grilled and the garlic butter sauce was a perfect complement for it. I actually liked it better than the Dark Chili Crab.
The Dark Chili Crab, on the other hand, includes 3-5 mini crabs boiled and sauteed with dark chili sauce. It lacks flavor for me but what I appreciate about it is how they served the meal. It was inside this small mason jar and I find it really creative!
❤❤❤
SERVICE: The food was served within 15-20 minutes and regarding their staff, they weren’t really that much attentive of their customers’ needs. For example, on my part, we asked for a staff to come over so we can ask for our bill, the staff said she’ll be there, but she proceeded to clean the other table first before heading to us. I know they maintain cleanliness in their restaurant but there are a lot of tables available that time; so I believe she can/should prioritize us first, give us our bill, before doing that since there aren’t any customers waiting for their table. Right? They’re really welcoming, though. 🙂
We had lunch here last 26th June 2017 because my friend is craving for "Isaw". Unfortunately, it is not available that time. So we opt up for :
Chicken Feet Combo ( It comes with Rice of your choice, Veggie Salad & Soup) - Chicken feet is quite dry but good thing there's vinegar. It helps.
Beef Pares is my fave on their menu.
Beef tenderloin is not that bad.
Puto Bumbong is much better now than before. I have a bad experience with this before but now atleast they've improved and it's yummy.
The rice with bagoong is a must try. Chicken is also delicious but sometimes its not cooked well. Its also a.must try if your used to eating using your hands. The area is very accessible and staffs are friendly and always smiling. Specially the visayans. Keep it up!
Nice and tasty food. Awesome juice and mojito. Must try Beef tenderloin with steak rice and mushroom sauce. Good service and good staff......
We went last night and had a great meal the food was super tasty and the waitress was great having never really eaten Filipino food before I was unsure what it would be like had chicken feet to start and then the set meal of chicken liver abode and pink shrimp rice and fried veg .....I forget the name of the rice bambong or something like that (sorry Im british) and then ice cream wife had squid java rice and some garlic rice all super yummy I also had a milk chai Tea but a little too sweet for me but all was excellent we will definitely return as I want to try there all you can eat Rib and chic
Thanks again Andy & Sherley
Awesome place serving authentic Filipino food in huge servings. So tasty and yummy food you will surely miss your mom's cooking at home. I will choose this any day over any other Filipino restaurant.
So happy to spend a dinner in Rice Overdose as recommended by a friend.
Tried their bestsellers: T-bone steak (which I think, is actually good for 2 ladies) and Royalty Meal especially the RO chicken!
Hope they can expand in Dubai, it will surely be a hit especially on their delish pinoy cuisine and unli rice!
Thumbs up!
Located in the heart of downtown Abu Dhabi, away from the glitzy hotels and tucked inside the bustling Al Markaziya area. You will benefit from using GPS to locate this restaurant and spend an additional 15mins to find parking once you arrive. Parking spaces are everywhere but be prepared to drive around and park a bit farther away.
Once inside, you'll be greeted by the friendly staff. Menu is full of colourful pictures and easy to understand. Prices are beyond reasonable! Posters of their key dishes are posted around the walls of the restaurant. I ordered the Dark Chili Crab for 30AED. The sauce had slight heat but not spicy at all, if anything, I'd describe it as the same spice level as sweet chili sauce.
Presentation of the dish earns two thumbs up! 3 small crabs boiled to perfection and smothered in their dark chili sauce arrived on a wooden platter with my order of rice. I like the different selection of rice available. After consulting with the staff, who recommended the agobo rice to go along with my crab - it was love at first bite! I was given plastic gloves to eat with and a bib was offered. This is a spacious restaurant which can accomodate small or large groups. Their menu even has dishes catering to groups of 8! The restaurant started to get busier as the night progressed. There are karaoke rooms upstairs if your group wants to sing, but you'll need to book ahead of time. Their current promotion posted was free 90mins of singing if the whole group's order was 300AED or above.
Besides the dark chili crab, I also ordered the iced chai. It had the special grass jelly inside and served with a bubble tea thick straw. Not too sweet, and I can imagine if the sago bubbles were offered - this would be a popular drink!
I only wish they offered a shell-cracker tool, metal utensils, and the metal crab meat-picker tool. It was difficult to take out the crab meat in the shell. The plastic fork and spoon helped, but it would be nicer to eat inside a restaurant with metal. Wet napkins are not available but the staff will give you generous amounts of napkins if you ask. A communal hand-washing station is located right outside the toilets.
Would I go back? A definite yes! I would love to save room to try their Filipino dessert and ice cream!
Drove nearly 2 hours from Al Ain just to eat here 😂 and went back right after. Guess the trip was worth it 👍🏾 good food, good place(wide enough to accommodate guests) and yes the "isaw" we had was superb! #feelslikehome 🇵🇭
I ordered Royalty Meal 2... and it was delivered fast. The food really taste good. I love the ube ice cream and the puto bungbong. I will definitely re-order again.
After a long day of shopping and grocer with a friend, we decided to visit this resto since everyone is talking about it and because i really crave for grilled isaw for about 6 months now. We ordered for beef pares, shrimp and squid and tom yum soup. I didnt found the isaw in the menu so i had to ask if they do single orders for it. Sadly, the manager informed us that they're not yet available for isaw that time. She recommended the crispy isaw which according to her is good as well as the grilled one.
I loved the beef pares and crispy isaw!!! Also, tha varieties of rice they offer. We didnt finish the food since we're both happy about the rice and ask for more bagoong & garlic rice. Thanks to the MOD who assists us because it's our first time there. Definitely worth a comeback.
Im from philippines so definitely i will love this kind of food.
Unlimited rice what else you can ask for.
It's good to have different variety of rice and drinks.
(Bagoong Rice👍🏽, Adobo Rice, Beefsteak Rice)
(Blue Spirit👍🏽, Rebellious Tea, Frisky Green Apple and Ecstatic Orange👍🏽)
Beb eated a lot, with extra rice ended empty plate☺️. Very good beb👍🏽.
King Fish Steak

Chicken Skewer

Ihaw Ihaw (Steet Food)
Chicken Feet and Chicken Gizzard
Yummy food and perfectly cooked seafood! One of the best filipino resto here in abu dhabi! I had tried different food here but i always come back for Calamares! Just love it!
Well they have unique serving style. The presentation of food & resto theme is just amazing you will feel great to have food 1 of my best place Filipino food. Must try 💋

I've heard a lot of things about this restaurant from my friends. And the pictures of the food they had here were so tempting, that I had to go and check out this restaurant to satisfy my cravings for Filipino dishes.
The place has a relaxed, casual ambiance. They have a variety of Filipino dishes that are served with unlimited rice. You can even choose from bagoong rice, adobo rice, garlic rice or taste each flavor, when you're done with your first serving. Your meal won't be complete if you'll not give their desserts a try. We had ube ice cream and puto bumbong (though the one we buy in the Philippines tastes better).
The only thing I don't like in this restaurant is that we have to use plastic spoon and fork if you don't wish to put plastic gloves and feed yourself with your hands.
I recommend this restaurant to people who love to eat rice and who'd like to have a rice overdose.

Craved for isaw in the past few days so me and my friends thought of rice overdose, a typical Filipino restaurants with a lot of dish options (mostly my favorites). This actually is our second visit. The first visit was a bit of a disappointment since we ordered the grill overdose to only end up getting more of the gizzard as a replacement of the isaw, since they were out of it due to a lot of customers who ordered the same ahead of us (which i find absurd by the way). BUT, today i have got to savour all that includes the grill overdose. Added with the T.Bone and R.o chicken, paired with blue spirit and rebellious tea. Satisfaction at its best! Shout out as well to the very accommodating staff, ms. Anna for going over and beyond to make sure we get the best of the best. Surely will recommend to my friends.
We heard about this new Filipino restaurant and we'd like to try their dish. We travelled all the way from Dubai and it was really worth it! I ordered Pares combined with Adobo rice. It was unli rice and you can swap anytime between bagoong, adobo and garlic rice. Their pares sealed the deal! Our money and travel was worth the experience! We will probably come back soon! Cool place and great food at reasonable price.
Exceptional service by the staff Julius. Nice food. And nice interior.. me and my friends love it. We r hoping to come back there soon.. thank you..
tried it and you will surely comeback.just the serving time it take too long so if your really hungry just order some appetizer first while waiting..
Awesome awesome awesome food! Definitely worth your "cheat day". Variety of rice flavors which suits all the main courses that they are serving. Will surely go back here again for my next "cheat day" :D

20May2016. Just had lunch here with friends. The food was great. The assortment and serving of rice lived up to its name. The food are well cooked and very delicious. The price are affordable and the ambiance is very nice! We had an amazing time here! Come and visit whenever you are in Abu Dhabi.
if you love rice you have to visit rice overdose.
the foods that are serve here is all tasty and flavorful that comes with unlimited rice of your choice. Despite of the busy flow of operation i highly admire the friendly and attentive staff here.
7th Feb 7 PM. This place looked nice from the outside, inside it was very modern, loud chart music. Everything on the menu was delicious. Despite the busy operations, the staff were friendly and attentive. Will surely visit again soon!!!
One year after my last visit of may 5th 2016, now I upgrade the score to 3.5 May 22 2017
After one year of not visiting this place I decided to give them another chance. Although I no longer ordered those food items which left me unhappy from my last visit, the service has improved I must say. They have more things to offer this time, the beef TBone was tender, a bit sweet on the sauce though so I suggest another sauce should be offered for those who do not like sweet sauces. Also if you can improve the taste of the flavored drinks, that would be great. Price is very much ok and the space seemed to have enlarged a bit.
As of today May 5 it's our 3rd visit here. Again we ordered 9 Puto Bumbong as we're so happy with it and wanted our guests to taste it. And since we wanted more and the establishment didn't have more, they suggested the 'Bibingka'. I ordered 2 Bibingka and it looked very nice. Upon tasting, the food tasted like cockroach. Yes I have not yet eaten a cockroach that's for sure but the Bibingka smelled and tasted like cockroach. I called their attention and gave them back the leftover after telling them that the food tasted like cockroach. They said they will check on it. Im A bit disgusted.
First Visit:
Rice overdose has a unique concept..unlimited rice of your choice and they have different flavors. You can order a la Carte or you can try their buffet. In the buffet they have several viands that you can choose from. We ordered ala Carte - the tbone which tasted fine, a little bit rubbery but tolerable. Then I had puto bungbong (and had another one) which is so good and definitely reminds you of home. Then we had the Philippine flavored ice cream which I enjoyed. Service is also ok. What destroyed the experience is the fact that they serve on paper like a wax paper of some sort on top of a chopping board. It's ok if you're only eating finger foods, and not slicing a steak and everytime you slice you have the paper sliced and probably eating it too as it gets all mixed up with the gravy . I understand the idea of using paper as a novelty or to save from washing dishes but then you should think twice as to which meals can be eaten like this. Some of the meals like the 'beef pares' were served in mason jars.
From my previous score for 3.0 I'm giving them 1.0

Rice Overdose is known of course for their variety of unlimited rice. We've revisited them a month ago hoping that their t-bone steak is already available. It was not available during our first visit because of the problem with their griller so we decided to give it another try.
Luckily we're able to order the t-bone which as per the recommedation of our server would be best with just plain rice because the steak already comes with gravy. My husband ordered their grilled shrimp with steak rice. Both meals were fine considering the price but the serving of the grilled shrimp could have been better.

Great food and too much servings with an affordable price. Bagoong rice is really a must try. Also pares paired with the soup is just oh so perfect!
For a rice fanatic like me rice is absolutely yummy and most of all UNLIMITED must try! Drinks very tasty as well!
Only thing is that they should have a credit card machine as its a little hassle to find an atm machine outside of the resto!
Nice food and drinks.must reccomend.
One thing i noticed the washing area is bit dirty used napkins are just laying on the floor. Not good for a restaurant like this.must be aware of this.
it was a great experience and it l's a recommendable to friends to have atleast spend time with a very reasonable prices with a generous portion....you'll always go for extra rice i must say....will definitely come back
Orders:
Crispy Beef with bagoong rice
Tangy Squid Head with bagoong rice
Extras: adobo rice, suka with chopped onions, frisky green apple soda
Food: great! Except for adobo rice!
Service: nice & friendly staff but we've waited for about 45mins before the food was served on our table.
Overall experience: Very Good!
Will definitely go back to try other entrees!
Keep it up!
I have tasted 3 different dishes. Everything was nice. :) waiters are attentive.
Beef pares - very filipino. I liked it! The serving was so big for me that i was able to eat 5 servings of rice but still i have some left over..
Beef strips - it was actually good for sharing. It is very nice to dip in their home made vinaigrette. Good with bagoong rice
Chili crab - spicy level was just right. Thanks to my friend who ordered it. T'was a good serving as well. Like 5 crab halves better get your hands dirty with it.
I almost rates you guys as 5 but i found some restrictions. I cant have garlic fried rice over my beef strips. The soup of pares is not refillable. You dont allow the remaining rice to take away. Any how you guys are great! Keep it up.
I would like to request food on the menu. I want kwek kwek, isaw, betamax.. Like the street food platter. That would be a blast!!!
I love sea foods! I love grilled foods! I love everything they serve. One thing i noticed is that they are very slow..they should serve fast and efficient, other than that everything is great.
When i found out that there is an unlimited rice serving restaurant in Abu Dhabi, i didn't miss the chance to try it myself.
It is located just nearby lulu express. The place is not hard to find but it is hard to find a parking space withing the area since it's always busy.
The place is big and customers are mostly in my nationality.
What i love in the place is that it feels like at home, people are eating on their hands and you can see families enjoying their food.
I have tried their crab, salmon, beef pares and roasted chicken.
I would recommend their bagoong rice to try out with seafood first and it taste so good.
Beef pares is already recommendable if your craving for beef with soup on the side.
The service is fast and efficient though I find their sound system loud and seems the speakers are broken.
Overall i would rate it 4.0 because the food suits my wants and needs.
Saw some good reviews on this spot so wifey and I thought we would try.
Friendly staff who were very helpful
fresh cooked dishes, unique drink selections all in house creations and the price is very affordable.
We will be back
This place is such a hassle to locate! We went to this restaurant based on zomato and the address was not easy to find. Been walking around for 20 minutes. Even taxi drivers do not know this place.
Anyways, the service was actually impressive. We went inside and they gave us our table right away, ordered and after 5-7 minutes, our food came!
We ordered beef pares and garlic shrimp. These were the recommendations of the waitress who served us. Beef pares was really good and serving size was actually for 2 people. The soup that came with it was quite oily though. Garlic shrimp was really really really bad. It only had 3 medium pcs and 2 small pcs. It was overcooked, not hot when served and just bland. no taste at all. This is what dragged the rating down.
They had flavored and unlimited rice and we tried all 3 flavors. Bagoong, steak and adobo rice. I loved bagoong rice, ever since i was a fan of bagoong. Steak and adobo rice tasted the same, they even looked the same.
As for our drinks, we ordered nutella milk shake which was not really impressive compared to other nutella shakes we have tasted but not bad at all. I also ordered the frisky green apple which i really liked. The drinks were served in a jar which was big enough for one person to finish.
over all, we payed 91dh. We will definitely come back to this place but will keep in mind not to order the garlic shrimp anymore.
The food is great, Bagoong Riceand Adobo Rice is the Best, The RO chicken is sooo juicy as well, many food choices. Affordable prices, the ambiance is great. the resto is clean as well. The staff are friendly. Thumbs up!!
Great food with Great ambiance. Certainly, I'm going back to this place. If your an eater and an appetite catcher might want to try this restaurant. Really got overdose with that rice, binagoongan rice, garlic rice, adobo rice to name a few. And of course seafood lover here, definitely worth it.
For me, this place is one of the nicest and unique place to dine with. Flavoured rice are delish, (adobo, steak and bagoong rice) prices are affordable, and pocket friendly. Seafood platter crabs, squid, fish, shrimp was served with sweet sauce and it tastes good. Wide mouthed mason jar is a good idea in serving their juices but not with the rice. (Use a normal plate or wooden plate instead) Staff are nice and friendly. I will surely go back to try their beef pares and lock jaw burger.
Riceover those for me is a unique style of a restaurant. An eat all you can flavored filipino rice and you have a choice to eat bare hands or with spoon and fork. Their choice of foods are good especially the chicken hanging in a stand...honestly i forgot the name.. For me this restaurant is very new to me so i have to discover more so am sure that i wil come back to riceoverdose!!!
Accidentally found this place while searching for another resto. The scene of people queueing gave a hint that this place was a must try. And we were not dismayed! The menu has a lot of variety and we did try their crispy chicken, beef, shrimps, lobster and beef pares. Though the drinks were not as impressive, the puto bumbong and bibingka were definitely delicious. Highly recommended.
The theme of this restaurant: the higher the dosage the better, referring to the overdosage of rice that you will experience. Of the three choices of rice, (i.e., bagoong, steak, & adobo) bagoong is the tastiest of them in my opinion .
The concept of serving your next order rice using a jar is cool and unique. Eating using bare hands is encouraged here, for hygienic purpose, they also provide you an option of using plastic gloves. While waiting for your order they will treat you with a jar of "linagang mani" a temporary relief for visitor with an empty stomach.. The restaurant is spacious and well ventilated. The map location here in zomato is correct.
The only concern for me is the difficulty to find a parking spot on this area.
This restaurant was awesome.. Nice concept.. Good ambience.,I really love it.. C'mon guys try it!! I love the grilled squid and their bagoong rice.,,,
rice overdose equates ulimited rice or rice all u can. this place is conveniently located along hamdan streets just behind the occasions bakery. the theme of the restaurant is for you to eat with your bare hands (magkamay) especially upon ordering some seafood thing. i can say that the serving is big and worthy of the price as well as the presentation of their foods. just noticed a little thing with regards to their service staff, that upon receiving a lot of clients/customer they tend be confused that during our visit they forgot some of our orders until we asked them. i think i can say a bit of organization and coordination most especially upon having bulk orders should be worked on more. overall..our experience had been something different and had been good to try especially their different kinds/varieties of rice from bagoong rice, adobo rice and bistek rice wherein u can have them as long as u can and as long as u want them! be sure to come with empty stomach! 😆😆😆
Delicious food, though I cannot really say that they're affordable. I love their bagoong rice and the Atomic Shrimps. 😋 The crispy beef was good too, and even their roasted chicken! I think i can say that I have not tasted any and haven't liked. Their beverages are so good, plus they're very affordable and unlimited!
Surprisingly, the beef pares is delicious...true to filipino beef pares taste, to say it the least. It may not be the best if it is to be compared to best beef pares in the Philippines, but I could say this is the best beef pares here in Abu Dhabi.
Just like Sea Food in a Bucket in Dubai, and The Seacret Sauce in Abu Dhabi. This place offers flavored rice shrimp paste, adobo, and bistek.
