Pani puri lovers!! This is the place you must visit. Been to ever green near Eldorado cinema last week on a friend's recommendation, and got addicted to the taste 😊 since then I am visiting them very second day.
They serve freshly made Pani Puri and meethi Puri one by one. They are so delicious and Mouth watering that one can't stop. I had 3 plates in a go lol I am a big time Pani Puri fan.
They also serve yummy bhel Puri, dhokla, Indian thali, Indian sweets including besan Ka ladu, rasgula, kajo katli and alot more..

The place for authentic gujurati thali, which is so amazing. It's my place of choice for veg food while on a visit to AD. Different sabji everyday so u don't get bored eating the same food everyday. This place is filled with regular patrons who visit here to eat thalis, although they have other option of food too but their unlimited economical thalis are superbly good, just dont miss it. Evergreen vegetarian restaurant located in Electra is an absolute delight for the veggies. It is a budget restaurant serving Gujarati food.
The thali that is served for lunch and dinner is value for money(AED 15 + VAT). With unlimited rotis, subjis and rice, it can't get any better. One has to commend the waiters there for their awesomeness. They would serve the food, as if you are visiting their home.
Other than thali, aloo paratha in the mornings will keep one drooling. The crowd there during the holiday mornings is a testament for their popularity.
Chaat counter from around 4 pm till late is another one of the reasons why Evergreen is our oft-visited restaurant. We have had food there dozens of times and never once we have had upset stomach or anything. Very good restaurant. Highly recommended.
The best chatpateys in town - affordable, delicious and fresh. I usually sit in the family dining area upstairs, the staff is very hospitable and attentive.
When you want a quick Simple tasty meal and be on your way, go here. For me a veg meal is a good unlimited thali. And this place serves it. If you compare this place with similar gujrati thaali serving places I think that they serve the best plain yellow daal, I gorge on it and dont eat there on the day that they dont serve daal. The veggies are great and once a week they serve a paneer dish thats a bonus. Add to it the cool chaanch available and the fried mirchis. This is for Lunch and Dinner. You can also go for breakfast, they serve everything from parathas to idli vada and dosas, but standard for me is Puri bhaji. They also keep a bowl of a wonderful carrot dish on the side.
Dont look for ambience, simple and efficient staff quick service is this place.

I been in ever green restaurant few days back. I tried their dosa and veg thail which was super delicious and very friendly staff. When you ordered thai,food is unlimited and you got the variety of vegetables. They served lassi also with that.

Regular place to visit for breakfast, thali and chaat items. All are good. They maintain thrir quality and taste irrespective of the volume they serve which is rare. Service and deliveries are good. I couldnt think of any negatives probably thats the reason i go back often like many others do. All the best and keep it up.

Want to try a thali that fits your budget and is available for a reasonable price . You should definitely try out the thali at Ever Green . Went with a couple of friends to try out the unlimited thali . Simple veg thali which had a small variety of dishes like malai kofta , aloo sabzi , dal , plain curd , chapatis and some fried chips accompanied with a yogurt drink called chaas or butter milk . The thali is unlimited so you can order as much as servings of each dish you want to try . The food tastes good for the price . Overall good service. They also have really good chaat items also available.

Craving for some street food, this surely is the place to visit. The pani puri is our all time favourite. Moving from Pune recently this was something we were missing big time "street food", this place kind of solved the problem. The chats are also good.
Had tried the thali once, the phulka was really soft and the kofta curry was yum, but apart from that nothing seemed to impress. The ambiance is not that great but the servers were really friendly.

This was my first trip to Abu Dhabi and we were looking for a Gujrati restaurant, stumble upon this one, they serve awesome thank, you cannot share your thali with anyone.
We had one mini thali, unlimited thali and one dahi Puri, it costed us AED 31 for three person.
Soft rotis, 4 curries, sweet, curd, jhaas, sweet Dal, kofta was my favorite 😋👅♨
One of the best street foods you'll find in all of AD. Especially the pani puri. Coming to the food, their thali is quite popular and its nothing out of ordinary. They are not bad either,with all you can drink buttermilk is not a bad option to have. Quality is good, but it lacks the taste, all the dishes seem to taste the same.
If you miss the perfect pani puri from India or if you’ve never tried it. Evergreen’s pani puri or any chaat for that matter is amazing. The place shouldn’t be judged by it’s ambiance. If you want a quick snack in the evening this is the place to go.
Absolutely the best for street food and pocket friendly - but tasty- food. I love their chats and pani puri. I have also gone a few times for their Thali's in lunch and they are amazing. The food quality is so good, and the service is decent enough. Their desserts are nice. Plus for a very affordable price you can actually get unlimited servings in the Thali. I cannot compliment the food enough.
Awesome North Indian food ..best know for there unlimited chapati set ...with free butter milk ..it is a small hole in the wall restaurant which is crowded most of the time ...it does have a family area on the top floor ...but the restaurant is small..staffs are always attentive and very fast service . It does have a small hole in the wall outside the restaurant where they server different variety of chats, pani puri etc where you have to stand outside and eat which resembles the Indian street food stands ...mix chat and Bhel puri are really nice ..they restaurant is very cheap too

Excellent! We had heard about this place from a lot of people so decided to try it last night. My wife fancied some pani puri and chaat so we had some bhel puri, vada pav, mixed chat, dhai vada and of course pani puri! All was delicious. Really fresh veg taste, not oily or greasy, and very generous portions (we couldn't finish the mixed chat!). Pani puri were tasty - puri crunchy and wry slightly sweet flavour complemented the spicy pani and chutney. The vada in the vada pav was full of delicious veg and felt very healthy!
We want to go back for the thali next time - it is what most people were eating and looks tasty :)
It gets 4.5 because of the quality of the food but also because of the price - 5 dirhams for chat items and 14 for thali is amazing value for money considering how delicious this place is. Oh, and the service was superb too :) thanks Evergreen! Update. Having spoken to Indian friends who assured us that this place has the best Pani Puri in AD we went back and had them at the counter outside. For us it is a close call between here and Royal Rajasthan - Evergreen is slightly sweeter - both in the chutney and the puri, but for me the explosion of different flavours at RR make it my favourite. Evergreen close second so far. UPDATE. Finally tried the famous veg thali. Unlimited veg chapati and rice. Amazing chapatis - best in a long time. Veg sabji very fresh and tasty. Service friendly and attentive. Best thali ever! 15AED well worth it for the quantity and the quality. Makes this place a 5 for me.

The thaali being served here deserves a taali (clap) esp Friday & Saturday during lunch.
Staff are courteous and will always be around for a second, third, fourth serving.Whenever you land up at this place understand that gorging is THE thing to do.They have a family section on the first floor and others are welcome at the ground floor.
Since it's a small place, it gets crowded quickly and you may have to wait for your turn to get your hands on those pooris/rotis et al.
Friday lunch thaali - 15 AED Saturday lunch thaali - 14 AED.

A very good Indian veg restaurant , I go here to have good chapati and buttermilk only service need to improve , they need to add sweet instead of curd.
After reading good reviews for indo-pak snacks here. We thought of giving this place a try. This a small place We ordered paani puri and it was one of the best till now. Served in thali with khata paani, some chutney and chana alu mix, very tasty and too much ecnomical only 5 aed for thaal. A must try guys. Tea was also very good not too sweet. Also we tried some kind if nuts sweet don't remember name. It was good too.
One of the most popular Gujarati vegetarian restaurants in town. Not known for ambience but for pocket friendly and delicious food prepared and served by authentic chefs and crew.
Recommended for take away not dine in. Although ample seating available at the restaurant. The set menu changes every day of the week thus making it interesting for regulars.
Sweets and Savouries racked up in the restaurant should be cared for, delights taste buds and there's something for everyone.
Love to have my puri and potato bhaji from Evergreen for breakfast.. it is served with some kind of a dry carrot side dish coated with besan I think.. goes really well with the puri!!

Pani puri craving well satisfied though served by a grumpy server at the chaat counter. He wasn't at all happy to serve and was giving a deaf shot. But will surely go back for the street style authentic pani puris.
It is clear the owners of this little gem do care about their customers!. The quality of food is superb, the service is immaculate and the guy at the cashier is very friendly; he even served me milky drink himself. For a princely sum of AED 15 you will have the most amazing veggie curries (4 varieties and a sweet); with top ups as much as your stomach can handle. All in all, it is a very pleasant experience and is highly recommended. I wish they can open a branch in London ;)

The only place I know which serves pure gujarati food with no western touch. Love the brekafast menu here. And the thepla is very delicious too. Not a big fan of the ambience and arrangement so we prefer takeaways mostly. Nice place..
I always order thali from here. They have good selection of veggies in thalis compared to others. Taste is very good. Pocket friendly restaurant for days when you don't want to cook but don't want a big dent in your pocket as well.
The only good place to get authentic Gujarati food in Abu Dhabi! I am not a fan of the interiors, so I prefer take away. Their thali and theplas are delicious. I had dinner in the family room upstairs on a Fri and they were very generous with the servings.

This is one of the finest vegetarian joints in Abu Dhabi. Value for money. The thali includes a good variety and is tasty. Full points for cleanliness. Also the evening snacks are filling and the portion size is ample for two. Please try their Mysore masala dosa. It will remind you of the Mumbai street food.

This just reminds me of my hostel mess. Seating place is also like a hostel mess itself. Food is quite OK if you need to eat out on a daily basis. Not too masala heavy. You really enjoy the fresh chapatis.

The Thaali is the default order.
Consisting of a continous flow of hot rotis (alu parathas sometimes) ,it consists of 2 dry curries,1 Dal, 1 or 2 gravies, the supply of these is till YOU SAY STOP! Rice is also a side dish.
My favourite is the Chaas or buttermilk...which is again in continuous supply. This is a life saver during summer.
On special days,there is a surprise dessert At no extra cost.
Value For Money. I don't know of any @place with better VFM.
There is also a limited A.la Carte menu.
Evergreeen is a weekly affair now...NPS is very high for sure.
Easy access, really cheap and no fuss food.
No complaints on the quality. If you are not too concerned by the general public and the average ambience, go for it.

Tried lunch for the first time today. It was the special meals as it's Friday. Quite okay. All the side dishes have the same taste. Dint find something different from the normal thalis. However had tried snacks, it's good. Having a cup of tea and samosas in the evening is one awesome feeling.
The restaurant is just beside the entrance to Eldorado Cinema. The restaurant is really good and you can expect home like food :). The staff too are really friendly and helpful. The pricing of the food too is really economical.
If you're down there, try all their chat items. Its just like how you'll find it in Mumbai.

Evergreen is situated just beside eldorado cinema, so its not at all difficult to find. This is a good place for people who are budget oriented. The restaurant offers chat, snacks and veg thalis for lunch and dinner. They provide thalis with unlimited amount of meal served with buttermilk, papad and salad. We had thali and rava masala dosa. The dosa was also great on taste. The only thing i dont like is the hygeine level at their chat corner. Go there for some easy peasy light food!!
I make it a point to have thali here atleast 3 times a week when I feel my body requires much needed veggies . I just love the food..simple and fresh...
A good Guj vegetarian restaurant. Though small is area , serves excellent food with less Oil and of course unlimited quantity for thali.

It is a great place for a bachelor like me which offers pure veg thali ( unlimited)at a very reasonable price with great taste and unparalleled service. It is a daily dining option for me due to its home like meal options and a variety of tangy indian chat options.
The Friday lunch is simply a treat with unlimited sweet and various Indian cuisines. Place is clean and waiters are very friendly and polite. It is a must visit place especially for pure vegetarians.
Went to Evergreen on recommendation of a colleague for their lunch thali and it turned out to be one of the best finds in Abu Dhabi. Such perfectly cooked food with minimum grease/oil and such light wheat chapatis "phulka". It is as good as home cooked food but more delicious!
The staff is courteous and will keep asking you to take more. Overall a top notch place for the unbelievably cheap prices.

We visit this place when in mood for a simple yet fulfilling meal. Their Thaali is simple with limited items but you will enjoy the experience. The staff are well trained, polite and courteous and treat you like a special guest. Their phulkas or rotis are so soft snd nice you could go on.Best part is unlimited buttermilk which is a family favourite. Don't get deceived by the appearance of this place. It's a must visit place for homely taste. Their chats are supposed to be nice too but we haven't tried them though!
This is an edit. We finally tried their chats last weekend when we were in a chatpata mood. Wow! What chats! We ordered pav bhaji, dahi vada, mix chat, pani puri (a must at any chat point of time),ragada pattice. We liked all of them. And the bill? 32dhs? Like seriously? A delicious and tangy deal! This is one of my absolute favorites! I am a huge fan of Indian chats and this place serves its best and at very good price. But don't let appearances fool you; this is a great little place. Tried lots of different things from here and have been pretty satisfied with most of them. Pani puri is a must have for us each time we visit. I am definitely a repeat customer.

I love a good thali joint and Evergreen hits the spot, well almost. The food is good and very homely (read, not Moghlai or Udipi which is what most Indian restaurants are). It could do with a wider variety of veg dishes instead of being so potato based on some days.
The best part of the experience is the service. You are always served with a smile. The staff are keen to feed you and make sure you tuck in as much as your waistline will let you with their unlimited thali and constant supply of hot rotis. The waiters treat you like family and I am always happy to tip them generously for their hardwork and attitude.
If you have been here before, you will know that the location is not the best and parking is an absolute nightmare. We prefer to take a taxi here.
