Paratha King Restaurant
This review is for a collection order.
It’s Friday morning and I’m craving for some desi breakfast. I drive to Paratha King. On the way there I call ahead and place my order for a Paratha Basket. 4 parathas served with dal, yogurt and chole at 35 dhs.
I arrive at the restaurant and pick up a nicely boxed package containing Aloo, mooli, onion and methi parata. Small containers of dal, chole and plain yogurt to dip my delicious parata in. I absolutely love the packaging.
This would be ideal to take on a picnic or even to work 😆 Everything is the right amount. Paratha are not to spicy so you would need to tell them to up the heat 🔥
The best part of the whole box is the small pot of pickles. 🥭
After breakfast I needed something sweet to finish off the meal. I tried the carrot 🥕 ( gajar) Halwa and the Moong Halwa.
Both the dishes were good. Not to sweet, correct amount of sweetness. 😋

I love their paratha’s as it’s made with sunflower oil.
I try different paratha every time I visit, But always end up liking aloo stuffed paratha.
I opted for aloo methi and paneer paratha this time. Ended up liking aloo ka paratha.
Must try their mango lassi - too good
Paratha king special, nice.
Masala dosa too spicy.nice.
Ragda paties tasty & very good.
Samosa chat nice.
Nothing can beat the taste of their methi mushroom paratha. It just melts in my mouth every time.
The food is also packaged so well & always delivered warm. I wish they could relocate to some place with more parking facility so that I could dine in more often after the pandemic .
The packaging was excellent, it was clean and well managed. What I liked in particular was the box that the food came in. I’ve not seen the box system in other restaurants.
Must try their cheese corn paratha, I was doubtful at first but now i’m absolutely craving for it!

We had ordered Thali for the first time at Paratha king and boy, we weren't disappointed at all. The veggies in the Thali were delicious. Easily one of the best thalis in and around Abu Dhabi. Parathas, as usual were great as well.
Being North indian stuff parathas are our regular breakfast , I ordered parathas couple of occasions from Paratha king and they are up to the mark , in terms of original taste and varieties.
love the italian paratha it was awesome papdi chaat is also lovely .. i dint quite like the aalo tikki because it was not desi it was soo videsi .. felt like im having a english cutlet
Me and family really likes the aloo paratha from Paratha King. The presentation is very good,stuffing is quite generous and above all the best thing for me is that its not very oily. It has homemade taste and light on stomach unlike other oil dripping parathas from other places. Definitely ordering!!
I recommend u try pani puri. One of the decent pani puri shops.
Dated: 18-Apr-2020: Very poor pani puri served. Had the worst ever.
You may see my above comment I appreciated the same dish. Now the quality has gone down to that extend I had to throw it out. It was very spicy that we couldn’t even have it. It was bitter in taste as well.
Please improve the quality and post here I will again try and review. Till then customers please give it a second thought.
Really like the parathas here and good portion size.
Good stuffing inside the paratha.
I’ve tried their branch in Khaleej center, and it’s one of my dish to eat whenever I go there.
I’ve tried gopi paratha, it’s heavy and we’ll feel really full.
Palak paneer paratha - Amaazingg! I loved the paneer texture, usually it’s all chucky but it was creamy here.
Jaipur paratha - it’s not that heavy, it’s a simple paratha.
The parathas were really soft and yummy.
Love the spicy chillies, daal, and the channa.
Nice place for delicious and very large variety of parathas. Apart from variety of traditional and popular Aloo, Gobhi, Mooli and Paneer stuffed paratha, they have Mexican, pizza, pahadi, sprouts and many other parathas which are worth trying.
Quick service and with minimal oil, butter is supplied separately. Over all a pocket friendly place with good food.

Paratha King - really excellent choice for vegetarians.
We tried their Pani Puri set which is really appetizing with its 2 types of Pani, recommending and must trying from there. Also, we choose their Chilli Milli Paratha , Mexican style Paratha, both are really delicious and with rich flavors. Chilli Milli is a spicy paratha, not too spicy but very balanced. Mexican is with Cheese stuffed with the Oregano aroma is really rich and superb. We tried their Veg cheesy Roll, the taste with freshness is really enough to recommend.
Having a large variety of Parathas (more than 100 i thk) and chat varietys. With all types of Parathas, they served with variety of chutneys,Dal,chana,yogurt,fresh chilli and pickle, we can serve as of our choice. Even, it is a pocket friendly place too.
We went with family and we loved the place.
They really realm in Parathas, so those who looking for South Indian veg, it is not a good option for them.
Need to explore more varieties from their in later. We recommend this place to all Veg eaters and those who looking some good veg options as for an alternate.

Very Good Food. Have been eating from here for a while. The food tastes very good, it is healthy too.
The best ones are :
Plain mushroom, Plain Onion and Gobi with Pudina
In the sides:
Dal Makhni is fine
Chole is very good but the only problem is they add too much red food colour in it. It would be great if they stopped doing that.
Their Delivery is quick too.
Overall the restaurant is very good and a must try in Abu Dhabi

If you are a paratha lover, this is the place you must have visited. They have a wide variety of parathas and boy some of them are really amazing.
Pizza paratha and Mexican paratha are a must try.
Serving size and parcel Packing in very good with good food taste.
Services more than 100 variation of good parathas with dal and chole on side with mint chutney and curd.
We went for lunch and ordered cheese garlic paratha which turned out to be awesome, also their paneer parathas are something u should not miss
Also they have amazing lunch buffet.

Tried the hara bhara paratha and raj kachori.
Huge paratha. filling. comes with pickle and dal (i dnno why they gave me dal). Good packaging. the paratha has a lot of filling, was yummy and not dry. loved it.
Would love to come back to try their thaali. They hav a huge variety of parathas.

Paratha king ~ the name does the justice.. They have all the available parathas with different combinations... and all are worth trying nothing disappoints.. Took fairly a very long time to decide and finally ordered the parathas.. As we were 6 people together we decided to order 6 different parathas and all were heavenly.
This restaurant let's u refill mint chutney,yoghurt, dal,chole,lemon & onions and pickles... Though the name is Paratha King it serves everything from breakfast to dinner including north and south Indian dishes.. plus they have buffet and chaat items too... The overall service is prompt , courteous staff and it's a clean place.. So all the paratha lovers this is your place to be..I will surely be visiting soon again
I visited this place few months back.. Tried their buffet and pizza paratha!! The pizza paratha comes in 4pcs and its pretty enough for 1 person!
Buffet option also isn't bad.. They have pretty good stuff.. And everyday it different menu except for the soup And rotis.. I would be going back here for sure..
Order was on time, well packaged and delivered. Mexican paratha was amazing and a filling for two people. We couldn't eat the aloo paratha and methi partha ordered. Taste was perfect and well made. The chole sabji was high on masala could have been less over whelming.
We had pani poori and bel poori from there , taste was awesome. Quantity and quality was nice . We tried 2 times from there . Want to go there more time . Price is reasonable. Guys are really helpful . Only concern is parking. You need to take round . Otherwise the hotel is really nice .
Order an Aloo paratha and methi paratha....not good as my mum's but not a bad alternative. Food was delivered piping hot and tasted great. Will definitely order again from there.

First time ordering from this place. Ordered home delivery. Best Aloo Paratha I have tasted in Abu Dhabi. Dal khichdi is just superb. A bit spicy for other family members but hit the absolute right spot for me. Methi paratha a bit dry. Have not tasted the rest of the order but from what I see, super happy. The aloo paratha has just the right amount of aloo and spread evenly which is something that very few people get right
Paratha King serves great stuffed paratha prepared from whole wheat. Loved the taste. Served with Chhole and Pickle, the variety of stuffings is amazing.
Amazing parathas..love the way they use fresh ingredients for all their cooking. Most of their parathas are cooked oil free and their yummy koki is made in ghee. A special shout out to their Methi Paneer paratha, Mexican paratha and schezwan paratha. Not to forget, they have the bestest pani puri in Abudhabi so far. Loved the place and definitely visiting them every possible occasion.. 100 kinds of parathas and lot of other food, there's s going to be something new to try each time. 😁
Came to this restaurant to try the authentic North Indian food. I must say I was pleased in choosing Paratha King. They have a wide range of Paratha (just like the varieties of dosas available) 😊.
Finally after scanning the list decided to try the Schezwan Paratha which was a good selection and was really filling. My wife went for the unlimited thali which also I got to taste. They have a decent array of items included. Definitely recommended
1st thing that goes thru my mind, so many options to choose from!! Took a fairly long time to decide and ordered the papdi chat which was yumm and bombay ishtyle nimbu pani gets as many thumbs up as there can be - just the right amount of lemon, salt and sugar. Total value for money! The prathas we had were chili garlic cheese paratha - which was seriously delicious and the alu gobi which was average according to me. Definitely a good concept restaurant that lets u refill on chutneys, yoghurt, daal, chole and lemon onion pickles etc. had a good time over all.
Finally, our long waiting arrival of an authentic vegetarian flavour of parathas ended now. We got Paratha King in Abu Dhabi and having the fun of its varieties of parathas, excellent flavoured dal, channa masala with yoghurt. Don’t know why Paratha King for so many years till the last few months never thought of coming to Abu Dhabi and limited themselves at Dubai only.
Paratha king is the very different, very special taste of very nominal price of food corner to be enjoyed with family, friends and parties. Even last Friday 8-Mar-2019 we had a nice lunch at Paratha King and god very well satisfied.
Ordered today for the first time after a friend told us about it opening in Abu Dhabi. What a welcome addition to the city! We tried the Friday Special combo and Koki. Must say the quality was outstanding. Pleasantly surprised at the amount of oil (the lack of it) in the parathas, couldn't feel it at all (which is very unusual). Hope the folks can keep up the good work!

I am so glad I tried it and trust me guys its better than Chhappan bhog ,EverGreen or Salam bombay Pani puris.
The puris was very crisp (which means they were really fresh) and i asked for ragda not aaloo filing.
So its a must try for All the Pani Puri and chat lovers.

Paratha King is one of the best places for trying out different varieties of veg parathas in Abu Dhabi. Assume this is only one place that serves so many varieties and with that good quality.
Bermi paratha - it is a very tasty stuffed paratha. The stuffing is made of daal and some vegetables. It comes in a box with a small bowl of daal, green chilies and pickle.
Veg chili milli - a gravy made if multiple vegetables and green peas.
Paneer 65 - it is also a gravy dish with Chinese style sauce base. Tastes good.
Idly - it tastes bland. Not very good.
Daal tadka - it’s tasty and not very spicy.
Best paratha ever had cheese Mexican paratha is superb proper stuffing and soft... Staff is caring and explained us the menu...also try veg tawa pulao and moon dal halwa..
Opened 2 weeks ago, this restaurant has a lot to offer. Being a foodie I have tasted the same genere food in different restaurants in Abu Dhabi. Without a doubt, the food quality, taste, variety is excellent. Initially when we visited the very next of the opening the service was a bit slow, but recently when we went it was spot on. All in all it's a place worth trying.

Paratha King is finally open in Abu Dhabi. The best part that it's not limited to parathas.
There is a chat corner. I had Raj kachori and it was a killer. I also had Paratha King roll and loved it. This branch has advertised an unlimited pizza day (if I recall correctly) and I am so looking forward to it. Also had pocket pizza that was truly mind blowing. Of course we took away koki paratha and paneer Tikka that was very fulfilling.
Looking forward to eat at their buffet. They serve buffet for lunch and dinner. Waiting to try that!

New place that opened up near my place and we decided to make a meal of it !!! A few of us friends and family landed up for dinner on their opening day. A Hearty welcome was at hand though the expectation of an opening day treat in the form of some freebie was not satisfied. yeh dil hamesha maange more !! The decor is friendly but quite basic. We ordered a variety of parathas as this was their biggest speciality. We had ordered for 1 Idli for the youngest member of our group and were pleasantly surprised by how soft and nice the Idly was. We were off to a good start. The first set of Parathas came in quickly and of them the chilli milli paratha was quite delicious and spicy. We had the parathas served with curds, dal and channa. The menu said Paratha is served with any one of them so maybe the freebie was the additional dips. All the Parathas and especially the pocket Parathas were quite delicious. I ordered for a lassi which never arrived. Service was a bit chaotic and a bit like the initial part of the lagaan cricket match where everyone was running this direction or that. I will chalk them down to first day teething troubles. Overall the food was quite delicious and that matters more than anything. service needs to match up to the quality of the food. Enjoyable Dinner and would recommend it strongly.
Atlast wait for Paratha King in Abu Dhabi is over. Small setup but same taste as Dubai. Here they have ventured for South Indian dishes also which adds to variety. But mind it their core competency is Parathas and they are good in that. I tried Aloo and sprout Parathas and both were good. The customize for spicy or non spicy choices... Must try
