I tried Sushi Day for the first time today and I have to say, it completely surprised me. For a place with cheaper prices, it tasted amazing. It was very light on the palate, allowing for a more tasteful experience. The staff were very nice, and one went by the name 'Rose' who was especially nice and helpful, making sure my friend and I were comfortable and getting the best experience we could have. The place was very comfortable and nice looking, and the placement of the sushi had me in awe. For a place so underrated, it made me leave the restaurant with a satisfied stomach and palate. I am definitely coming back here and bringing more friends with me to share the authentic and blissful experience of Japanese cuisine.

I’ve tried sushi day a couple of months ago and I had to come back. I’ve tried other places but they weren’t as good and they were definitely pricey. This time, they surprised me. It was way different than last time I’ve been there. The place was really comfortable and the staff were so friendly, especially a waitress named Rose, she was extremely helpful and nice, she gave me lots of offers and she would always come and check up on everything. What I liked about the sushi is the different combination of sweet and salty. It was definitely creative and It tasted amazing. It was completely stuffed with filling. Some sushi options were not my type but it tasted good. I got a lot of sushi and the total price was really cheap for the quality. Overall, this place is underrated. I would definitely recommend it to someone that needs to eat light, good sushi yet cheap

Food is great. I just wish people follow instructions carefully. When asked for NO wasabi, please don't put wasabi inside every package. If a person is allergic, this could have been a disaster. Otherwise, all else was wonderful.

if you’re looking for yummy and affordable sushi then you’ve come to the right place! I have eaten at Sushi Day and i have ordered delivery from here so i’m gonna talk a little about both. The restaurant is very cute and has a very Japanese theme to it. The waiters are very friendly and helpful, both in store and on the phone. California maki and the vegan sushi are my favorite. Delivery is fast too btw.

Ordered the mix platter for delivery. Food came on time. However, you could sense it's not fresh just by looking at the plate. With the first bite it was confirmed that the maki rolls were kept in the fridge and were not at all fresh. I called to complain. They really have poor handling of customer service. The woman on the phone told me if you want to talk to the manager he's in the dubai branch. Furthermore, she didn't even apologize but instead reinstated that their sushi was fresh. Very disappointed with my experience. Would have given it a lower rating if I could. 😡

The worst experience ever.. waited for 1 hr 20 mins and still the food did not arrive.. And contacted the restaurant twice and they claimed that the driver is on the way.. I asked them to cancel the order. Vey bad experience

Oh my goodness! Amazing! Best sushi. It is expensive but it's really good, some people would not agree with me but I really think it's great, the waiters are friendly and quick, the food is quick too. People don't usually come but YOU SHOULD!!! ORDER FROM THEM!!!

Worst maki I ever had in my life. Terrible quality, horrible taste. Would never try it again for sure. I ordered a delivery and you can tell from the taste it is dry and not fresh.

Ordered the Assorted Maki box online.The sushi was all right, only got it for the AED 20.40 off offer they had so it cost me 47.40AED instead of the actual cost of 68AED. Is it worth the 68AED price tag in short nope, the sushi was of sub par quality nothing amazing there are other sushi joints that are far better this one is only great if it has some promo.

Ordered through Zomato, and after several calls and arguments with the restaurant the food was delivered over half an hour LATER than the one hour projected time! As far as the sushi goes, I can't remember ever having worse. Salmon sashimi was disgusting, rolls were messy and falling apart... Just a horrible experience overall. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

This place is quite close to me so we decided to try it one night. I found it to be expensive for the quality and quantity of sushi we got. I pass by quite often and I have rarely seen any customers there. The restaurant has ample seating, wooden chairs and tables. It was quite uncomfortable sitting there tho. Benches don't have any backrest and there is no room to place my legs since the table has a shelf under it. It's not a place you want to stay very long so I was surprised the price fairly high. We opted for a sushi platter which is a selection of chef sashimi and sushi. It was 139. But this was advertised as 109 on their menu they handed me before we decided to get seated. It seems that their pricing is different on their takeaway menu than their dine in. Nonetheless, we got the sushi platter. It came nicely presented but lacked in quantity. We had 4 different sashimi (2 piece each), a 6 piece roll and 6 sushis. I guess this is sufficient for 1 person.. not 2. But for the price I would rather eat at an all you can eat. Their service was good tho since we were the only ones in the restaurant, they paid a lot of attention to us.
