(التعليق الأصلي) The was so good, it’s very smal cafe limited sitting area just 2 tables. I recommend it for take away parking space Available in front of the cafe. The staff very very friendly.

A friend of mine invited me and my son to have lunch here.. they have unique concept of not giving any plates, the foods were served on a piece of paper and we ate on plastics.. very unusual but it's cool..

This shop is closed. Went there yesterday and to my dismay. It is closed forever. End up eating on the shop infront of it. Hoping other branch is still open. 😤😒

Probably the only place in the city that offers 'unli-rice' to help Pinoys all over Dubai cope with homesickness. Expect to get your hands messy. The garlic butter sauce is the best!

The place is small but we're lucky that there weren't any diners last Friday night, came here for late dinner though, so maybe that's why. We had prawn tempura in sweet chili sauce and fried calamari in bbq sauce. I suggest having the sauce served along side instead of having it mixed with the seafood as the sauces were a little too rich and overpowering. Although there's nothing exceptional about the taste, food is decent and I must say that the sauces were what made it okay. Their iced teas are a steal though, for only 8aed, you'll get a huge jar which already good for sharing. If you're looking for a place to satisfy your seafood cravings, without getting hard on the pocket, you can try this place out.
Rest In Food????
I've been here last friday after going to Church with my sister and it's a wonderful experience Even if we waited for almost 30 mins waiting for the availability of a table because its super busy during lunch time and friday but its all worth it when we finally get our table and start ordering our food. <br/><br/>Obviously its a seafood restaurant so there will always be a shrimp, crabs, fish and squid but the cool thing here is your going to choose your sauce and literally your food is on a bucket. My sister ordered shrimp with garlic sauce and white rice and their unlimited lemon ice tea while I ordered chicken tender wings with barbecue sauce , white rice and green apple for my quencher.. We really enjoyed it specially we can use your hands to eat and everybody using their hand too 😂😂😂😂<br/><br/>

One of its kind , very much unique in presenting the seafood which is in a bucket , absolutely loved it , very much economic in price , worth every single penny . Decided to have their shrimps which I had along with the white rice . Also had their crabs which is been boiled which blended quiet well with the white rice . For the drinks we had the Apple Cucumber and the Lemon which was very much refreshing and lovely . Staff are also very much friendly and they were quick enough in service .

The only filipino restaurant I've tried so far, the food is good.. Crab, prawns, mussels in butter garlic sauce is lovely. Must try... The only sad thing about this place is the stare they give when a non filipino visits the restaurant. And yea the drinks are good aswell.

This was that one joint that went "easy on the pockets ". Now, Iv been to places that serve seafood, but none like this one. Initially, I thought that given the portions my company and myself ordered for, we were a little skeptical that it may not suffice. Little did we know, that by the end of it, we'd be struggling to finish the little that we did order for . We started off by ordering their wafers, that got served with vinegar. They had unlimited coolers too. Tried their Lemon Ice Tea and Apple Cucumber. Rest assured, it was refreshing down to every last drop. Post that, we got down to the real starters. We ordered for their Dynamite shrimp ( easily being the best Iv ever had) squid calamari ( the very sauce on this made the difference), volcano wings ( surprisingly very delish). We then moved on to ordering mussels and their grilled squid, which btw, was stuffed, much to my surprise. All in all, this place is a must go to. Quick service, chill environment and as aforementioned, easy on the pockets.

I ate here a couple of times. The first time was really great. The servings are good for 3 people. But for some reason, their serving become a little small than usual. Or maybe it just depends on the branch

A small place in Attar centre in Karama.<br/><br/>They serve good seafood. the experience is excellent. You eat with you hands as you are supposed to No cutlery :)<br/><br/>We tried most of the seafood. Crabs, lobster shrimp and Hammour. It was all great and my group enjoyed the visit a lot.<br/>A good place to go as prices are pocket friendly..

First, it is a typical Filipino eatery which makes us expats to feel we are just right in our country. Simple yet a very homey feel.<br/><br/>Second, the food came so fast like just after 15mins. of ordering them. They pour in the food on the table and with your gloves on you're ready to eat. The food seems ok except that some are over cooked.<br/><br/>Third, man the coolers. It tastes like water. You need to improve it otherwise we will just order a bottled water.<br/><br/>All in all, it's not a bad experience and will come back again to see any improvements.
Kareem Mohsen Tolba
Simple. If you are Philippino you will like it, if you are not then you won't get it. It's a good effort and a nice idea, but for me the cooking is very basic; the flavors are not attached to the food and the sauces does not taste like their names.
ThePinkWanderer
The LOBSTER that they have served is pretty SMALL, its content is NOT THAT MUCH, NOT EVEN FRESH THOU (almost good for one person only). FOODS SERVED are just only SMALL PORTIONS but the taste is fine. The DRINKS are HUGELY OVERWHELMING in size that I wasn't able to finish it. You will enjoy its FRESHLY HOT UNLIMITED WHITE RICE if you are into a rice thing. The place is cozy and sometimes you really have to wait to be seated cause of the volume of customers especially during weekend lunch or dinner. The cute feeling while you eat here is that, YOU REALLY HAVE TO EAT BY HAND while wearing this disposable hand plastic gloves. Food cost is just right and not expensive. RECOMMENDED.

Loved this little place; once I found it. It does exactly what it says in the wall! Really I've the concept; just get stuck into to great, well cooked food. Will be back soon

Oh.. Felt like I was eating at home.. no forks and spoon just dig in with your bare hands.. and great joint to enjoy some mouth watering seafood.. not a big or fancy place but a place which will fill ur tummy and heart too. Very reasonable place to enjoy and fill ur taste buds with full of seafood.. planning to visit them again.. soon...
Sara Ashmar
This is what seafood is about. No forks no knives. Only a bucket and gloves to dig in into your seafood meal. Steamed shrimp, crispy hammpur or even grilled lobster all are so delicious topped with different sauces as per your choice. Jars of syrups and fuzzy drinks. It is a very small place but it is always full. Great seafood for a good value of money
Jameel Baramy
Good food, reasonable price, close to karama metro station. Defo worth a visit. Tried crabs, mussels, and lobsters. Loved first 2 but lobsters were alright. Bottomless drinks served in jars was a good.
Nicole Martinez
My friends and I have been here way more often than going to church.<br/><br/>One phrase - big bang for your buck. The cheapest place you can get your seafood cravings satisfied. <br/><br/>The selections are a bit greasy though, so those cholesterol-level-conscious peeps can ask the server to just leave the sauce on the side. <br/><br/>I highly recommend the garlic and butter crabs and black pepper fried salmon head. As for the refreshment, get the lime soda.

Went to this place yesterday. small place but still nice..helpful staff, very welcoming !!we had the volcano wings , Calamari with garlic butter sauce , Mussels with Black pepper sauce and Queen crabs.. Simple too goood.. i had the freedom to eat with my hands which was d best part.. a little too oily. but apart from that <br/>; WOAAAAHHHH ..  hats off to this place !
Francis Athena
Staff service was not really good...they snubbed d guests while in their premises...<br/><br/>Its a small place that supposed to be taken care of but, unfortunately they dnt knw customer service

Cravings for a seafoods? You must try thier mouthwatering foods and enjoy your meal using your hands for eating! They have a variety of sauces, bottomless drinks and unlimited rice!

I'm very surprised at myself for writing this review so late!<br/>I have been to Seafood in a Bucket like 2-3 times and this place has a simple concept and a simple menu which lets you enjoy your food to the fullest:).<br/>First of all the ambience.. it is a small place but it is very vibrant. <br/>let me jump to the service before the food(drools)- the service is quick .. you place your order ie u choose between a fried or baked item and top it with a sauce n roughly within a span of 10 mins you will have d item wid d sauce in a bucket and a rice packet.. u can put/pour the meat and its gravy in d rice packet and eat or like i enjoy put the rice on d on d table plate/paper n mix it n go nom nom!<br/><br/>ok now the food: we started of with dragon wings and dynamite prawns. the wings were good.. but the prawns were absolutely DELISH-nice and creamy and crunchy!<br/>we were a grp of 4 so we had four diff. items. i had the fried hammour wid black pepper sauce.. u will expect it to be real spicy but it was a sweet spicy sauce which went real well! the other dishes on the table were grilled prawn (which was grilled to perfection.. moist n super yum)..butter garlic lobster.. we ordered a small size so we were not satisfied with our small portion..our bad..(ps.. i would try the lobster with another sauce) and then the crab in butter garlic sauce.. was heavenly.. it was wid d shell obviously.. but cracking it over the table plate /paper was so much joy .. it felt like home with d crackling crab shell n its mess.<br/>In all .. d dinner was better than good.. service was quick and bonus points u get to use your hands while eating!<br/>I would recommend this place to everyone!
Marie Louise
interesting concept. we tried the grilled lobster and mussels.. yummy. not bad for fastfood seafood. unlimited rice and drinks. lemonade and juices served in mason jars. cute! but we couldnt finish them lol. if it wasnt so expensive id give it better ratings. (but seafood is most often expensive in the desert ryt?)
Arjelyn Jose
Food presentation is cute and unique, but quality and taste is so-so. Fried fish was loaded with breading. Service is a bit slow, but it’s understandable as we went there on a Thursday night so the place is packed. Has a vibrant ambiance but nothing really special.
Gillian Rosario
Finger licking goodness- is the only way to describe this place. Tucked away in Karama, Seafood in a Bucket is a economic option for foodies like me to satisfy my voracious appetite. The place is small, so visit on a week day to avoid the waiting time. Steer clear of light colored clothes and be ready to get your hands dirty. We were a group of four and decided to try as many dishes as possible. So the feast began...Crabs in asian bbq sauce, Crabs in black pepper, Crabs in sweet chilly (Did i mention we LOVE crabs?!!!), Prawns in oyster sauce, Mussels in butter garlic, Squid in sweet chilli, Dynamite shrimp...<br/>The food was DELICIOUS. So delicious that after the first dish, i totally forgot to take pics of the rest of the food !<br/>My favourite was the crab in asian bbq sauce. The dynamite shrimp was almost as good as the famous PF Changs, except that the shrimp was larger and half the price here. <br/>The drinks are unlimited and quote good. Try the apple cucumber cooler. <br/>The best part of the meal is the bill. All of the above came to AED 240. A seafood meal of this quality would easily put set us back AED 800 in some of the other up market places. It was definately worth the trip to Karama. <br/>
Abdulrahman Khaiwi
Great taste. Not a sushi place though. Loved the dynamite shrimps only if they remove the black line before cooking<br/>I liked the friendly staff and almost odorless seafood reataurant<br/>

After the 45 minutes wait and watching group of happy smiling pinoys the story finally unfolded.. There came small metal buckets served with our choices of seafood. These can be emptied on the table which are layers with sheets of plastic which make the tables as your serving plates. Not a very good idea if you are fine dining sort of an eater and are used to spoons and forks and knives. The fun is is in folding your sleeves and digging into the food with your hands wearing the disposable gloves provided (sort of feel like a surgeon). <br/><br/>A very vibrant and friendly Vibe to the whole place..the restaurant should surely do something about the waiting customers so that they are seated or comfortable during their long waits. Very pleasant and helpful servers but the let down is the food.. The seafood doesn't spell freshness unlike their close competitors and please avoid the battered and fried items it's just a tough mouthful of in seasoned fried batter. <br/><br/>If you are looking for value seafood and fun with your friends then it's worth a try.

Seafood In a Bucket never fails to make my tummy HAPPY! For two weeks in a row, me and my arabic friend went for Iftar at Karama branch. I had my friend taste the best seafoods in town! Fresh and always tasty especially with their variety of sauce and enormous drinks in a jar! You just have to be there earlier to get a table and enjoy the food. Plus, make sure to go there with an empty stomach to get advantage of their unlimited rice! Will always come back here. #ZomatoRamadan #ramadankareem

Went to this branch at least 3 times now. My all time favorites are the crabs in black pepper sauce, mussels in garlic and butter sauce, and calamari in garlic and butter sauce. I have stayed to watermelon as my drink each time I go and it never fails me. Would love to try their dessert next time if I manage to not make myself full at the end.<br/><br/>This place is great for pinoys who miss true pinoy beach food. Thats how I would describe it as I picture myself eating these food in the Philippines only by the beach.
Jeffmiao
Went there during Ramadan and there were no guests waiting as usual. Drinks were big portion, one is enough for two people. Seafood are truely fresh, and they got a natural sweetness. You got to choose your own sauces and the rice is served unlimited. 230 for 4 of us.

The only thing I really liked from Seafood In a Bucket was their Hamour and Sauce, that coupled with the rice was the most consistently good thing about it. The rest was standard run of the mill seafood fare, it was all well cooked and there wasn't anything exceptionally special about. <br/><br/>Obviously the biggest thing about the place is the customer service, and atmosphere, the way you eat the food is wonderful and few places get to have that atmosphere. Seafood in a Bucket make it so easy to pull off. And for a relatively new place that's one hell of an achievement.
Dubro
Place to have cheap and delicious seafood in Dubai.. have to eat with your hands but they provide plastic glove.<br/>Try sand lobster.mussels.steam hamoor.<br/>The sauces are nice and mouthwatering.curry is not very spicy but definitely make you consume more rice without you realizing it!
SaltShaker
Been here a couple of times. I love the idea of putting your viand on a bucket while eating on barehands. Money-wise, it is cheap considering that they are serving seafoods. Very busy place but the staff are accommodating. I love the mason jars (where they put the 'bottomless' drink).
Dee
You guys got my heart ticking with ur breaded calamari and black pepper sauce!! The vibe, the graffiti wall paintings l, the track list all make me want to come back again.<br/>Keep it clean, simple and savory!<br/>

It was my first time to eat at this place and we found it so worth-it! The food was very delicious most especially the kinds of sauce they put in and considering the affordable prices. What I didn't like was the staff's attitude. They didn't show any COURTESY at all. Once you enter the restaurant, no one greets you. But it was not a big deal for me after all since the FOOD which I was after has satisfied me a lot!!
Kish Comia
All seafood menu, served in buckets and eaten with your hand! Whoever thought of this is just genius. Aside from the cheap price, good food, serving size and different kinds of sauces - boys and girls, they offer unlimited rice! That's something you don't see in Dubai everyday!<br/><br/>This place is best enjoyed with friends cos you can order a lot and share! The mussels and calamari is my personal favorite! I suggest you order the sauces on the side so you can use it as dips and try other sauces. Can't wait to go back!
Foodaholic Mommy
It's an "okay" place for me. Although it's not as spacious as I thought seeing in other friends' photos. The food was fine, although find it too oily. The drinks were LLLAAARRRGGEE, we liked it that way. For that price and that quAntity and the taste, not bad!

Spontaneity always brings great surprise. My friend and I stumbled into this place by fluke. We were wandering the streets of Karama and just decided to walk into the Al Attar Centre. Good thing we did, because we discovered this wonderful place. The graffiti on the walls lured me in at first glance. The place was pretty busy-A sure sign that something yum was probably cooking! We were greeted so enthusiastically by the staff, we were lucky to find a table. We went on a Friday evening, around 7 so it was dinner peak time. Our waiter was quick to explain to us how the ordering system works. Its a step by step to ordering. First you pick your choice of seafood, i.e. prawns, crab, mussels, salmon, fish etc. Step 2 is the sauces you would like, we choose the garlic butter, other options include Teriyaki, Chili and Black Pepper. Step 3 you select the level of spiciness. The interesting thing I liked about this place is that you eat with your hands. So for all you germ phobes or snobs sorry for you :) They have disposable gloves so don't freak out (jokes). There were fish crackers to nibble on as soon as we arrived. These were really tasty, a tad oily but delicious. We  ordered the sushi for starters.  For mains we had the Tilapia and fried prawns. The dishes both came with a generous portion of rice in a plastic bag. The rice was plain but so delicious. The nice thing is the rice is bottomless, so you can have as much as you want. Yes to Carbs :) In case you are wondering, the place gets its name from the fact that all dishes are served in a cute little tin bucket. The tilapia was really tasty, I loved the taste of the  herb infusion, I think there was a strong parsley and basil taste to it. Not too crumby. Delicious and not oily although deep fried. The prawns were slightly mediocre. I found the coating to be quite thick, which really takes away from the actual taste of the prawns. They were still good though. The prawns were slightly over cooked.  To drink we had the Apple and Cucumber Iced tea. One word: Refreshing. What a delightful burst of fresh fruitiness. I loved it. It was not too sweet, as you would expect ice teas to be. Loved it and it comes in a gigantic jar. And if I remember correctly, its also bottomless :) So again drink as much as you like.Overall the vibe was simply enjoyable, they were blasting old school music so I was happily bobbing my head while in food heaven. We got to meet the chef also, he was very lovely and gave such great suggestions on what to order next time. Really awesome place. Our bill came up to 56AED jaw dropping! Thanks for such an awesome experience y'all. Oh and they apparently have great breakfast here. As the Terminator says. I will be back :)
Jayson Noble
We love seafoods especially crabs so this is perfect for us. Really like how they prepared the crabs and its tasty. The unlimited rice and drinks is also a perfect pair to the seafoods. We will definitely be back here again. The only problem is that the Karama branch is too small so you have to wait for minutes to be seated.
William Hutchinson III
Got to say I love the laid back atmosphere and super casual vibe. I ordered the cucumber drink, tilapia, and boiled shrimp (not the freshest/frozen maybe). I will say I definitely left full. Keep in mind you get unlimited white rice ???? too. Now before you hop in taxi know is a "hood" spot. You eat everything with your hands (plastic gloves are available). I'm kinda eco-conscious so it bothered me to know a camel ???? could be choking on my plastic form my meal a month from now... Nonetheless ill definitely go back! My bill was 55AED for what I would pay at least double for at Claw.
Sami Barqawi
The food was wonderful and there was a lovely atmosphere. There is the option to Oder drinks which are served in Maison jars which is a very nice touch! The only issue was that I felt like an intruder. However prices were amazing with amazing servers and amazing food!
Aziz Ahmed
Good seafood with a variety of sauces to choose from. My only issue with them is they don't clean the shrimps so if u ok with that it's a place to be. We tried the lobsters, crabs, shrimps, calamari. <br/><br/>My vote to the lobster and calamari. With extra chilli <br/><br/>Prices are really good for a seafood rest. <br/><br/>Drink sizes are huge. They serve in jars which is quite intriguing
Mona Mostafa
can't get enough of this place, seriously the best seafood with amazing sauce.<br/>its always crowded only because they have the best food ever. <br/>the staffs are awesome and very nice and friendly... i really loved it <br/>its just something unique and good
TheBasicTaster
Exelent huge servings and taste. I order kalamari and crab that is good for 3 person much better if you eat here you need to bring your friend or family. 1 bucket is enough for 2 person.. just try it now, also arabic and indian love this restaurant. Price is acceptable. Service is nice fast and reliable. you need only bigger space.
❤️Food
Free flow of rice, crackers and drinks. The seafood isnt that fresh but with the price you pay i think its kinda ok. The servers are able to recommend the type of seafood that will match with the sauces. Also dont forget to indicate your level of spiciness as the first time i went, most of them tasted too sweet for me.
Michael Panes Mondejar
My second time to come here, the place became narrowed!<br/><br/>My good friend celebrated his 2*th birthday here, we ordered shrimp, mussel, lobster, crab and calamari(forgot the sauces but we match each item correctly) I must admit were so noisy at that time but the staffs managed to deal with our craziness! Its a matter of matching the sauces in each item when u came here so ur food not be wasted!

(This review is not<br/>about their Seafood but their breakfast plates)<br/><br/>Their breakfast is sooo<br/>good! For 16dhs, you get a breakfast plate with choice of unlimited coffee or<br/>tea, and unlimited fried rice or pandesal. The breakfast plate I ordered is<br/>Crispy Chicken Garlic Teriyaki which is a breaded chicken drizzled with<br/>teriyaki sauce, grilled mushrooms, a slice of tomato, beef bacon and pandesal<br/>topped with scrambled eggs). They already have complimentary pandesal so I opted<br/>for the unlimited rice.<br/><br/>The breaded chicken with<br/>teriyaki sauce tasted amazing! I hope they can also include it on their regular<br/>menu! I got surprised with the grilled mushrooms because it was bursting with<br/>flavor as well (I thought it was only for garnish). Their fried rice tasted a<br/>lot like the fried rice in the Philippines- no need to elaborate!I wanted to give them 5/5 but it took a while before we got our order, knowing that there were very few people that time.<br/><br/>Seafood in a Bucket is<br/>now my go-to place for breakfast! Good thing their Hor Al Anz Branch is just<br/>near my place.
San Lin Htun
Guys. They got wonderful breakfast too. 16 uaed a plate n its big n delicious. Of course, unlimited rice or bread. Breakfast serves from 8am to 11am.

The first time I visited this restaurant was a dismay on my part, my friends and I were starving like hell and we're all looking forward to eat in this heavenly place, but it was full and there's a long queue as well so we decided to eat somewhere else. I tried visiting it again and this time Was amazing, the drinks they served are enormous (I really didn't expect its size) the portions of what they served is worth every single dirham and its unlimited rice ????
Sachin B
Really cute Filipino place where they serve everything in buckets...and everyone eats with their hands! You are expected to devour everything without spoons...The sauces are awesome and the food's good. If you are looking for some character in your restaurant, this could well be it.
Bernard Gonzalez
Visited their new outlet at Abu Baker Al Saddique. Good food. Slightly priced. Spacious. Friendly staff. Iam surprised our order came fast. Worth the visit

Are you ready to mess up while enjoying your seafoods? Then this is the place for you. The truth of the matter is, it took me a while to find this place. The moment you enter the place don't expect a VIP treatment. You place your order and then after 10-15 minutes - boom... you will be ready to rumble. I ordered salmon head, crabs, corn cob and apple & cucumber drink. The concept is quiet cool, seafood in a bucket literally. The food tastes average but what would take you by surprise is the concept and the affordable prices. What disappointed me was that they are not keen with the things they used. For example the jar that my drink was served had a few breakage on the rim so I asked to replace it with mineral water then (I was disappointed). Overall my experience was fun. I'm planning to bring my friends next time.
PJ Pangilinan
We ordered 8 dishes and we were served 5 dishes only.  After 10 min, 1 came then another came after 10 min.  After some time, we went to follow-up on the remaining 1 unserved dish because we are almost finish in our food but people are ignoring us. The fat guy wearing white with gold highlight in his hair clearly see me calling but ignoring us and avoiding eye contact after that.  <br/><br/>Horrible experience in terms of service.  A lot of staff but few are working (and some are hardworking to be fair) but some are roaming aimlessly.  Service have gone down since its start.<br/><br/>Branch: Ansar Mall<br/>Time: 900pm
Cleofas Poblete Yuson III
i love the concept of this resto. since i am a seafood fanatic, it is not hard for them to please me. the only thing i did not like about them is the serving size on each bucket and the space is not enough to cater to numerous diners; however, it is reasonable because of the price and popularity. il be coming back for my seafood cravings
Vambina
The first thing you'll notice about the place from outside is the huge Graffiti wall which was a very attention grabbing art form. Oh and we were lucky to have a vacant table when we arrived coz we've heard that it usually takes time to wait for a table as the place is usually pack with a lot of people.<br/>Aside from the affordability of this place and their UNLIMITED steamed rice we commend this place for having your food prepared in a quick span of time. <br/><br/>I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a unique dining experience in a seafood restaurant that's friendly to your wallet and is a haven for delectable well prepared dishes.
Maria Santos
Sauces are all sweet! I find their food too oily when served! Should be drained before serving to customers.  When we visited the branch in karama, music too loud! But the voice of the manager/ incharge louder!  Seemed like he woke up at the wrong side of the bed that day. Otherwise servers were all attentive. They can improve the washing area as well. This is quantity over quality. You pay less so dont expect quality.<br/>This is my experience dining in this place. I respect others' opinions.

Finally tried this place after being curious for a very long time! my boyfriend and i visited the karama branch in new al attar center and i was very happy that there were available tables because i know the place is always packed! They key really is to go on a weekday and maybe after lunch to make sure you get a seat. We were handed the menu and i kind of knew already what to order... The place is really small compared to their ansar mall branch but it was easy to find once you know the place. the walls are painted with graffiti like design and they play opm music in the background. on the table you can find disposable hand gloves and paper place mats that are very convenient because the food can be really messy to eat. For starters they gave as complimentary prawn crackers and vinegar dip.. that was finished in no time.. For drinks, we ordered the apple - cucumber and watermelon mojito which they served in BIG glass jars.. i find the drinks really refreshing but i couldn't finish it because it was really a  lot. For the food we ordered sand lobster and normal lobster both in garlic butter sauce, fried calamari in sweet chilli sauce, shrimp in pepper sauce and a side of sweet potato fries. The meal also comes with unlimited rice.. i liked the food it's just that next time when i order any fried item, i will just tell them to put the sauce on the side because sometimes i don't like a lot of sauce mixed into the food. i think over all it's a great experience specially if you are in a group, the food is good, price is affordable and the place is really convenient.. i will surely be back to try other things on the menu!
Muhammad Ali Akhtar
A very new good experience! Deep fried tasty fish! And good for people having a cheat-day in their diet. The drinks are literally served in JUGS for just 7 AED.

Good Value for money, long line of pinoys waiting outside on weekends is a testament that this is a good deal. I believe all nationalities will like this place.
Jun Ruiz
Friends and I had squid calamari, buttered shrimp, spicy crab and some sweet and sour fish. Overall, food was alright. The seafood without their respective sauces would taste bland because the sauces stayed below the bucket so not all of the served dish had the sauce. Great on pricing, unlimited rice and drinks on a jar.

This is actually not the branch I visited. But since the one in Ansar Mall is not listed, I will have to post the review here.<br/><br/>A lot of my Filipino colleagues have constantly raved about this safe-haven, and it always made me curious. I have also gone to this branch - before the Ansar Mall opened - to try it, but I was never granted the opportunity to be seated. The line was ridiculously long and I just don't generally have the patience to wait that much, especially for food and when I am hungry.<br/><br/>The hype faded out until I was invited by my ex boyfriend and his family - still boyfriend, at the time - for dinner there after church. It was rather empty when we got there, compared to the Al Karama branch.<br/><br/>It was tucked away in a corner and most of the walls were still unfinished - seemingly whitewashed. The other side which was done had a funky mural to it. The chairs were like that of a public park - benches and long tables. There were cupboards stocked with their ingredients, a corner for the bakery which served typical Filipino delicacies, and some classic OPM music.<br/><br/>We were seated and immediately presented with a bucket of shrimp crackers that came along a sack of plastic gloves and tissues. The menu was simple and straight-forward. Choose your meat - calamari, chicken, shrimp, hammour, salmon, etc. Choose your preferred method of preparation. And, choose your sauce. Each order of meat came with a side of unlimited steamed rice, so there's really no need for you to spend more on fries and whatnot. The drinks are refillable for only AED6 - I would pick the iced tea, any day.<br/><br/>We ordered Calamari, Shrimps, Chicken, and Hammour, which were served in buckets, hence the name of the joint. I thought everything was great except for the fried hammour. I thought it was defrosted and it gave off a very fishy smell and taste. The calamari was a little bit too overcooked for me, quite rubbery. The shrimps were nicely done. But the chicken topped it all for me - sorry, I know it's Seafood in a Bucket, but I enjoyed the land species better. Other than that, it was a really great experience for someone like me - a great eater. The drinks were served in jars, and if you really want to eat more, I suggest you drink less in between.<br/><br/>They also serve some sushi and maki rolls. I am not a big fan of that certain Japanese cuisine, so I never tried it. But overall, I thought it was really nice, satisfyingly easy on the pocket, too :).

heard a lot about this place... and decided to go and try with friends. when we came we were offered crackers to begin with. as we ordered and food hd come... i was amazed with there ice tea so much for one person and price is cheap. food was no taste and i think was fried long back for it was not too hot sauces are too watery... for experience it was nice but to come back it might take time.

Pro: Simple menu, trendy set up, good food and drinks, good value for money. Liked the drink picther of apple cucumber. <br/><br/>Con: Would not mind the rice in plate, the palstic bag of rice is bit diffucult to handle in the corners. Garlic butter sauce is hard to get to in the bucket. Can that be served seprately, it is easier to manage.

could not get served. appalling attitude by staff who would not take order

Seafood in a bucket was in the trending list of Zomato for a long time, so thought to check it out. Well we easily managed to get a seat, it wasn't that rush when we dine in. <br/><br/><br/>The order process was very simple, choose your seafood, sauce and spiciness level and you are done. <br/><br/><br/>We ordered Crab in teriyaki sauce, Lobster and clams in garlic and butter sauce with medium spiciness. Corn on the cob as side and drinks apple cucumber and blue curacao. After the order they served a bucket full of rice crackers which was good. Everything is served in bucket. Even the rice is served in plastic bag, which I felt a bit difficult to eat. A plastic plate can be a better choice. <br/><br/><br/>Lobster and clams in butter and garlic sauce was good. But we were disappointed with crab. Being crab lovers, we expected more. Crab was small in size, so hardly there was meat. Teriyaki sauce was just ok. So better avoid the crab. <br/><br/><br/>Special mention about the drinks, its huge, yes it’s really huge for that price and unlimited too. For about AED 6-7 it’s totally refreshing, do try it.<br/><br/><br/>Service was good and fast; they didn't allow us to wait more. <br/><br/><br/>Overall it was fine. <br/>Food wasn't that great which I expected.

We went here to try their food. Some say the food is good so out of curiousity we tried it and too disappointed. <br/><br/>We ordered shrimp with buttered garlin sauce, calamari with black pepper sauce, crab with sweet chili sauce and chicken with bbq sauce. All the sauces has similar taste! ALL SWEET! plus our chicken has something in it. (Scatch brite). We called the attention of one of thier crew and replace it with new set of chicken wings. Rice overcooked.<br/><br/>Affordable prices.

A bit hard to find for those not familiar with the area but once in the building, this place stands out from the rest of the 25dhs all you can eat buffet places next door. Graffiti on the walls, packed with a line outside. The concept is simple. Choose an ingredient, choose a sauce, choose your sides, choose your drink. Everything comes in a small bucket, the rice is free and the drinks unlimited. <br/>Everything we has was quite good. There are plastic gloves on the table and no silverware, so everything is done with your gloves hands. <br/>We had the clams, hammour, calamari and shrimp. The calamari and hammour fried and the clams and shrimp stirfried. For the sauces, we chose garlic butter, black pepper and Asian BBQ. For the drinks, one lime soda and one green apple mojito. <br/>I'll be back soon. It's quite refreshing to see a place like this pop up in Dubai.

My first visit to Seafood in a bucket was very enjoyable. The waiters were polite (although a little bit unprofessional) , the design of the place was very attractive. And the food was indeed delicious especially with the sauces , it was very filing as well and the crackers were an added bonus! The mojitos were ♡♡ and a generous amount with unlimited refils and a take-away cup. <br/><br/>Overall the experience was enjoyable and affordable! I highly suggest people to try it out

I brought my friends from Ajman and it was their first time to experience this bistro. They enjoyed eating with a gloves and wearing an apron.Food was great and the prices are very reasonable. Though this food store is becoming popular here in Dubai, the unfavourable side for this is the long que of lines.

nah!!!! you will lose your appetite because of waiting for too long for your order....<br/>place are so loud, this place is one of the reason why our mother earth is destroyed! LOL<br/>plastic everywhere like seriously! I ordered a lobster! (its a baby Lobster!)<br/>there no place for parking definitely ridiculous. <br/>I don't even want to remember the day I decided to visit them.<br/>That's it so far.

Went there on a weekend day and our waiting list n was 124 and they were serving 107.. so better visit on weekdays noon.. tried calamari crab with butter garlic .. shrimps with black pepper sauce .. serving style in a bucket is nice.. loved the idea of apron and glove cause it worked well.. <br/>Area wise nice wall painting or spray paint, basin was in the corner with no hand wash but some water was kept inside the soap bottle..<br/><br/>Foodwise its good for crabs and calamari but too oily cause all are basically fried.. tilapia fillet is overpriced for 19 dhs as you can literary buy 3 good size big tilapia in 20 dhs.. loved their garlic butter sauce.. drinks are huge and inexpensive..<br/><br/>Would like it more if they had some tartar sauce or mayo on the side..<br/>Overall experience satisfactory..

The atmosphere of the restaurant makes you forget you are in Dubai. The staff were friendly, the service is good and the food is nice and simple for seafood fans and not pricey.

Been hearing a lot of good things about this place so we finally ventured to try it.<br/><br/>I guess this is a new location in Al Ansar Gallery in Al Karama. The place was not all that busy when we went. <br/><br/>Service is not that great. There was a group who came in after us, but for some reason their orders were already being taken and ours was not. So, after complaining to one of the hostesses, order finally was on the way. <br/><br/>Ordered 2 kinds of shrimps (garlic) (sweet chilli), and fried hamour. We were totally not satisfied with the shrimp. I was under the impression that the shrimp will be cooked with the sauce you ordered but I guess not, the sauce is just being poured over the boiled shrimp. The only thing I liked about this place are their humongous drinks.

Loved this place! Great food and good service... Also striking are the peculiarities... No plates, gloves to eat by hand (cutlery is not appreciated by patrons), jars full of drinks (unlimited), benched dining tables and graffiti...and of course buckets everywhere, even hovering over you as the lamp shade! Very cool! It's cheap too... So why not!?

Really nice atmosphere, service is great and staff are very friendly.<br/>Food was delicious and price was very reasonable but i would recommend adding fresh juices to their menu.<br/>I am defenetly going there again and taking some of my friends with me. <br/>

There is always a long queue in both branches (Bur Dubai & Karama) so make it a point to call for reservations. Food is awesome and cheap
Brianito67
If you craving for seafood and you want an affordable restaurant then seafood in a bucket is the perfect place for you . <br/><br/>Long queues are waiting outside the resto but good thing is you can order in advance so that your food will be almost ready once there is available table. <br/><br/>They have unlimited rice and huge drinks. But the music of the restaurant is so loud. <br/>The food in general is good but not very impressive but it's worth the money you pay. <br/><br/>It's totally different experience and they are opening soon at Ansar gallery!
Ghreizey
People literally stand in queue to get a taste of what they have to offer, not sure if the queue is due to the limited seating capacity or affordable prices or the food taste itself. Been there 4 times over the last 6 months, starting chips and the apple cucumber juice remains as something i would want to eat again and again but until they come up with something new on their menu, we are not considering on coming back at least within the next year or so. And yes, they have an alarming rate of non biodegradable garbage everyday.

Love the food. Its just that the ambience is so crowded.

I went to SFIAB as a recommendation from a Filipino friend of mine. I was warned it was going to be busy but enjoyable. <br/>On arrival a queue of about ten people were waiting to be seated. The waiter took people's food orders so to speed up the process.<br/>The place is busy and the atmosphere is hustle and bustly with mid level pop music playing.<br/>We ordered a mixture of most items to get a feel of the menu. The order was lobster, crab, shrimp, hammour and wings with a mixture of sauces. Sides were wedges and onion rings.<br/>Most items were over cooked and fried items were greasy and tasted as if the oil was old. <br/>The sauces were tasty but in some cases over powering, in particular the black pepper sauce was very sweet and didnt taste at all like black pepper. <br/>I felt ill mid way through as my partner made me smell her lobster as she feared it was off. It was. I couldn't get over the nausea from then on. <br/>In summary the restaurant obviously appeals to the filipino community due to the way people were churned in and out of the place. Service was fantastic but the food just wasn't up to par. I get nervous around dodgy seafood and this unfortunately put me off my meal.<br/>My partner on the other hand loved the place and praised the crab. Hence a 2.5 and not lower.<br/>If i go again it will be early into service when the oil is fresh and food is fresher.

I've been here twice. There were no long crazy queues yet and It had just changed its name from ASAP Inhouse Restaurant to Seafood in a Bucket. The portions are generous but i cannot say that it was really exquisite. You can only choose from three kinds of sauce flavor. It's worth a try though.

Very quirky and fun restaurant. Love their simple and yet creative idea of serving their food in tin buckets. Then you have the chance to eat with you hands without making a mess because they provide plastic aprons and gloves. Fast and efficient service even they're always busy. Hammour and the Prawns are the best. Ask your waiter which sauce goes very well with your chosen dish. I'm sure they won't disappoint you. Very affordable. Been here and we're group of four and our bill is just below 200aed. It's all worth it! Downfall is their location, it hard to find. If you don't have any companion who been here before for sure you'll be lost. The queue can be long during weekends. The restaurant is small and always jam packed.

Discerning In Dubai
Seafood in a bucket. More like everything in bag in a bucket on plastic covered table. Great for keeping it clean, horrible for the environment. I've been seeing this place trending on Zomato so a few days ago I thought I'd check it out. <br/>First, let's begin with the location. It took forever to find and no one has given proper directions. The restaurant is hidden in the back of a mini mall that has mainly filipino and some indian food stores. It is by the Karama metro station and the ADCB Bank and Papa Murphy's (or Papa Johns, one or the other) pizza is out front. You can enter through here Im told but the best thing is to follow the service road, and head the the back of the building where there is a little more parking. The street is located behind the Karama Hotel. if you are using GPS, use the Karama Hotel as your landmark. <br/><br/>Okay, so tiny weird mini mall, even tinier restaurant. Always full, completely crazy. On my visit here, other than one (creepy) white guy with a much younger and prettier filipino girlfriend, I was the only non filipino here. I'm saying this because English is not easily understood by the staff here. But once you communicate what you want, it's all good. There is a great atmosphere here as most of the crowd is young and obviously likes their American pop music. At one point three different tables of girls were singing along to Madonna's Material Girl. <br/><br/>The music is loud, the food is good, the prices excellent and so the experience even more so. Their drinks are MASSIVE. The all caps does not do it justice. When I say massive, I mean it! It's about or over a litre worth of liquid. At 5 AED. These prices are ridiculous! <br/>I ordered crab in teriyaki sauce and clams in sweet chilli sauce. Everything was fresh and their sauces are excellent. The seafood isn't premium quality which is to be expected at these prices but it is very good but their sauces are so much fun and everything comes with free rice and prawn crackers. All of this accumulates to a fun experience, a good meal and take home glass for the rest of your drink.

Craving for seafood but on a tight budget?.. Well, this is the perfect spot for you. :)<br/><br/>We went here on a Monday, lunch time so I don't have any complaints about waiting in a queue for around 30 minutes and watching people eating while I starve. :P<br/>Well that's a good plan to experience dining in Seafood in a Bucket.<br/><br/>PLACE: Very accessible. It is only near Al Karama Metro Station<br/>FOOD: They give complimentary Prawn crackers while waiting for your food order. All comes with unlimited rice. Seafoods are fresh and their sauces really taste great and compliment any seafood you choose. You can also mention whether mild, medium or super spicy sauce you do prefer. The beverages they have in the menu are so refreshing. They come in a huge jar and are refillable. ;)<br/>SERVICE: They all know their job and they are professional. They render a great service, do recommendations and active in serving and refilling your "butter paper" (coz they don't have plates) with extra rice.<br/>COST: Very affordable! We had 2 buckets of Crab, one was with garlic butter sauce and the other one was with black pepper sauce, a bucket of sweet & sour shrimps, onion rings, calamari and 4 huge jars of fresh juices. It only cost AED 108. AED 108 for 4 people? That was unbelievable! Eating in a seafood restaurant and ending up with a pleased palate and full stomach and still a full pocket? That's great right?

First of all, the restaurant is located besides the ADCB building (near Al Karama metro station) and Credit cards are not accepted. The waiting time can be long. <br/><br/>With the disclaimers out of the way, let's get on to the food. <br/><br/>Perhaps the reason it lists itself as "Filipino" owes to the fact that this is a place frequented mostly by Filipinos, had Filipino music, newspapers, etc. However, the food seemed pretty 'worldly' to me. This is a small cozy space which is pretty bare-bones but not in a bad way. The evenings are buzzing with lots of quick cover turnovers. <br/><br/>I found the ordering process simple and straightforward with minimal waiting times. All orders come with complimentary prawn crackers and unlimited rice.<br/><br/>The deep-fired Hammour was really well marinated and cooked, in big chunks and delicious. The crab in Asian BBQ sauce was flavorsome (but the size was small - average). The Lobster in Garlic-butter sauce was delicious as well. The drinks were refreshing and special mention goes to the size of the drinks - massive jam jars (clearly can fit 2 big glassfuls - see the pictures). Whats interesting is the fact that they provide disposable gloves to allow you to eat with your hands and yet not have dirty hands - this truly is the future, people.<br/><br/>For an order of a bucket each of Hammour, Crab and a piece of lobster together with 2 drinks, corn on the cob and a portion of onion rings costed me AED 93 - which is as economical as it gets. Some of the Seafood restaurants I have recently reviewed need to sign-up for an internship here because SIAB is literally killin it.

There is always a long wait...not maybe always but yes, there is a wait. But the quality of the food and the entire dining experience makes it worth the wait. <br/><br/>On a personal note, being unaccustomed to eating with the utensils makes it rather challenging. But of course, what is eating seafood if you will not have it by hand.<br/><br/>The place is really packed and noisy and yes, you will end up smelling like one of the crustaceans being served as you step out of the restaurant. Although I heard from a colleague that a larger place is being acquired.<br/><br/>Must try - their calamares is great, the lobster and the shrimps of course. Be ready for their large bottle of drinks.

Food are tasty, delicious. But the service s very bad, we have called them many times to order additional but never they assist you even they are beside you they never assist you. I called the Big guy team leader, he was very rude and said what you want. That not the way how you entertain your customer. You need to take care them. You need to improve your service in order to offer to other people. The Big Guy Team leader you need to change your behavior.

FYI : Google Map will give you a wrong Direction. Take the Metro Station, AL KARAMA. Its near Ratsky. Better to be there during Lunch time for its always on a full pack. The food is Good, the place is designed to be small so that the people will find their time to wait. They'll be opening a branch in Deira Soon. for 2 person, AED80 is enough. Must tray the sweet and Chili Crab. you'll love it.

Been to this place many times and never failed my appetite! Food tastes good in a very affordable price :) friendly staff as well! This is our favorite place to eat seafood! They have opened a new branch in ansar gallery karama and ill be visiting that branch really soon! I order mussels most of the time. I tried the clams and rock lobster with black pepper sauce and it tasted delicious! They also offer unlimited rice and overflowing drinks! Cant wait to try the lobster sooon!

The directions are totally wrong. We followed the location listed here on Google maps which takes you to Kuwait street but ended up walking around for ages! Its in the ADCB building about 2 mins from the Al Karama metro station, not Al Attar center new or old! By the time we finally found it the waiting list was 45 mins and it was packed, not even a weekend night by the way! We decided to leave it for another day, possibly for lunch. We drove but parking is very limited so perhaps taking the metro is the best solution since its so close to the resturant. Good luck! You will need it!!!
Hakeem Abdul
Good food and insanely cheap. I just hope they will have a bigger place which can accommodate a lot of customers cause you have to fall in line like for an hour or more just to be able to eat.

yummy food

Been here once, tasty seafood with a budget price. But yeah the queue is just so long. .it took us more than an hour to be seated. Not sure when is d best time to come to avoid a long queue but I will definitely go back
TheExpatfoodie
The place serves decent food especially for the low low prices! But the long lines are a headache! My tip is to go to this place at between 3-5pm, odd hours that have the least people in line. Beware though, as you'll smell like fried seafoods right after!!!
