I couldn’t say anything less. It’s a small cozy restaurant that you wouldn’t expect too much, but believe me, they serve authentic Asian food! We ordered Sweet and Sour Duck with rice, fried rice, and Sauted Mixed Vegetable for dine-in lunch and they were sooo yummy 🤤 and tasty that your asian taste palettes will be awaken! For the dessert we had sticky rice and mango and it was 😋 so delicious! I will always have to add Asian Plates in my schedule when I visit Abu Dhabi next time to try all their food 😊

Received these burnt spring rolls as part of my Ramadan meal order. It is disgraceful that they allow such meals to even get out of the kitchen. The rice was also very oily. Where is the quality check?

The foods are totally worth your money especially for those are fans of Thai food. The place is also very calm and comfortable. The food is excellent, and portions are well sized, there's nothing to complain about! Delicious and authentic! Can say that the service is tiptop and the staffs are all friendly specially kabayan named "Troy". We were served an complimentary Fish Cracker as we arrived. We tried their Shrimp Tom yum kung which was good enough to 3-4 persons comes along big bowl with choice of your spice level, then Sizzling hot Beef Wok Fried which is slightly salty followed by Prawn Pad Thai Noodles and for beverages as Thai Ice tea with milk and Green tea blender with the cream topping which is a must try.<br/>They deserved my 4/5 rating.

Ater reading the reviews from other foodies we decided it was worth taking a trip all the way from Musaffah to Tourist Club.  We finally made yesterday evening.  Parking is a little tricky, but patience pays off.  We ordered Tom Yam Kung soup, which was right up there and exceeded our expectation.  Starters we tried Wasabi prawns and it was good, but for the price we felt the quantity served was a bit short.  Main course was Wok Fried Beef and that was a let down, the portion was good but the dish itself was salty and beef slices were chewy.  Lemongrass Ice tea was surprisingly good!  Small space with nice ambiance, staff was attentive and very prompt with service.  Probably because we were there early, the second customers in the evening.  Will definitely go back  for a second visit to try other starters, mains and want to taste sticky rice with mango.  Thumbs Up!

Food looks good and very deceiving but taste way too salty and not authentic food at all. Also quite pricy for the settings and location. We spent around 100 AED for two.

Small little place tucked down in the streets of Abu Dhabi. The food is absolutely delicious. Service is pretty standard. We often order the sharing platter for starters and the papaya salad. For the main it’s usually chicken green curry, cashew chicken and pad see ew. I like sticking to my usuals as it’s fantastic. The flavours are on point. However I do find it a little too expensive considering the ambience and the service. Also the biggest drawback is that I never find parking during thr evening and I have honestly returned without dining minimum 3-4 times.

I ordered green thai curry and it had that authentic taste. All the vegetables inside were freshly however chicken could have a bit more tender. But overall quality and quantity were really good.

Since the man Carl Lewis was craving some Thai food and he was constantly suggesting Asian Plates, we decided to ditch our original plan and came over to enjoy some Thai food.<br/><br/>We ordered the Hot Basil Beef, along with Thai Green Chicken Curry, Spicy Creamy Prawns, Beef Nam Tok Salad and 2 portions of Garlic Rice. Each and every dish was well prepared although I did feel my Thai Green Chicken Curry could have been cooked a bit more. The Nam Tok Salad was spicy and it had an amazing Lemongrass taste, the Spicy Creamy Prawns was way better than the overrated Dynamite shrimp from a very famous restaurant. <br/><br/>My only gripe was with the quantity of Garlic Rice provided as I felt it was a little underwhelming, but taste wise it was heavenly and it complimented every dish we had it with.<br/><br/>Highly recommend Asian Plates for the amazing service and great Thai Food.

Went over for lunch on a friday, the concierge was kind enough to accomodate us considering we were a group of 6 and nearly took up half the space in the restaurant. Ordered 2 plates of siomais, 1 pad thai, 1 chicken red curry, 1 nasi goreng and a hot and sour soup. Everthing was satisfactory, but the siomai... seems more like a fishball wrapped in dough. But other than that i was pleased with the other dishes. Pad thai being my personal favorite.

Been there for dinner. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greated warmly by the staff. Waiters are so friendly & polite. The food was authentic. Tried their nasegoreng and creamy prawn which was the best  I tried recently & tomaym was so good & delicious . Thanks asian plates for the delicious food. We will be returning....

Best Thai food in Abu Dhabi. The spicy beef salad and the chicken hot basil stir fry is my standard favourite. Great staff. Just wished they had another outlet closer to me at Masdar city.<br/>

one of the best padthai and satay in town. food is freshly cook thats why you hve to wait a bit before you indulge. i highly recomend this place for asian food lovers. they also hve vietnamese filipino singaporean and indonesian food. its a bit pricey but a very huge serving which is good for 2 to 3 persons. its the best place to go evrytime i crave for thai/asian food

My partner and I ate here last time. We were disappointed with the service of the Filipino guy becsuse he didn’t even say hi, hello or good evening to us. It’s like he doesn’t know how to welcome guests. We were disapponted also with the foods. Because majority of the foods didn’t meet our expectations. As first timers we weren’t satisfied with the taste and presentation especially the Pinoy beef sisig. It was ground beef and the egg didn’t even cook in the sizzling plate because it was warm only and it has too much onion.

A small restaurant on a street full of restaurants. When you enter the restaurant you are warmly greeted by the staff. You can't expect much as the place was small. Looking at the menu itself I was surprised that the items are slightly over priced looking at the place. The place is neat and clean though and no problem otherwise. We ordered khao pad goong and nasi goreng. The portion of khao pad was only a bowl of rice with some cucumbers and zucchini with 3 4 prawns in it. OMG.... r u serious? With 39 dhs only a bowl of rice. The taste was ok and not out of the world that I would consider the price. Nasi goreng, the saate was not properly done and were bit cold. The rice was not cooked properly and you could feel like crushed stones in between. I went their with a Filipina friend of mine on her recomm3ndation and with all due respect since Filipino food isn't that spicy, I can understand that they won't realise if the Thai food is done properly or not. I have had Thai food in all kind of small and big places but this was totally disappointing. I would give 3 star only for the staff and interiors. Please consider either reducing the price or improving the taste and portion.

Truly satisfying authentic yummyThai Food that won't hurt your pocket and value for your money indeed. May I add that owner and chef is also Thai so its a guarantee that the ingredient and recipes are well thought of and sourced well. We loved the Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, and Heartwarming Tom Yum Soup.  Food was so good and consistent in taste and presentation, that my visiting guest from Manila ate at this restaurant for three nights in a row.  Must try if you crave for some South East Asian  food that all worth it.

I ordered one curry, the waitor told me there is chicken and prawn , but when serve only prawn , no chicken. And extremely spicy, I can not even take 10% of the food. The price is extremely high but not worthwhile. Never ever will come back again.

I'm sorry for not doing this earlier for a restaurant that just recently turned out to be my favorite asian restaurant in Abu Dhabi. Their food, insert papaya salad, is legitimately and ridiculously good! I am South East Asian, and I raise my South East Asian thumb up to their menu. Tried various choices and one similar item on two separate occasions (day and night) and the quality is consistent, the taste is awesome, and my smile is identical.And by the way, the price won't milk your wallet dry unlike other asian restos out there. Speaking of milk, bring your own milk if you can't handle the heat. Their food is spicy, but is so darn good that you just keep shoving the spoon inside your mouth.

Small and rather unprepossessing interiors. So we started with low expectations. But the food, when it comes, transports you and elevates this experience to another level altogether. Some of the tastiest far eastern cooking we've ever sampled, along with very personal attention from the Thai owner, made this small restaurant one spectacular dining experience. Visited last night with husband 2 friends. Warmly greeted by staff - sat outside - lovely. Each had different main course - roast duck curry, sweet and sour chicken, chicken with cashew nuts and Indonesia megorang (noodles with chicken and prawns in spicy sauce), sides of garlic rice and egg fried rice. Food was DELICIOUS. Highly recommended. Generous portions but finished everything as it was so good!! Charming helpful staff made for a very enjoyable experience along with excellent price.<br/>

The place is relatively small with only 4 tables. But give this nook a try for your asian food cravings (Thai, Viet, SG, Filipino food) which is easy on the pocket.

A new kid on the block, Asian Plates is not one of those Indo-Chinese takeaway joints that are so common in this area. It may be tiny, but the interiors are tastefully done and the service is on point. On the suggestion of our server, we started with a special sweet Thai green tea drink that was topped with whipped cream - a unique blend of flavours that was so refreshing and delicious until the last sip. The Asian Platter is good for two and contains Prawn Toast (you can actually see and taste the yummy prawn filling), Chicken Satay (soft juicy skewers that go well with peanut dip), Thai Fish Cakes (chewy savoury snack that are great with the sweet chili sauce), and Vegetarian Spring Rolls (really apreciated how the fillings were freshly prepared to order). Steamed Dim Sum comes in portions of 4 pieces (a bit small if you're planning to share, so prepare to order extras accordingly), but it's definitely worth a try because it's so good. Pad Thai Noodles with Chicken transported me to Bangkok and were some of the best I've had. Prawns with Hot Basil were also appetizing and just 'hot' enough for my liking (might be too spicy for some other palates though!). For dessert, we tried their specialty "Sticky rice with mango" which was simply heavenly. Truly scrumptious food, with authentic Thai and Southeast Asian dishes at affordable prices that are of five-star standard in my opinion.

Since it was my first ever Thai experience, I was pretty nervous, fearing the food to be raw like sushi!😖 But nope, I was TOTALLY surprised! In fact the food was beyond my expectations. <br/><br/>After a few years of friendship, my special Thailand friend gave her farewell gift by introducing us to her culinary world. 🥘 🇹🇭 <br/><br/>We had a prawns and mushroom soup, called TOM YAM KUMG, which was sour and spicy. The next dish we had was VIETNAM GLASS NOODLES. The prawn noodles tasted sweet from special sauce! 🍤 <br/><br/>We next had a dish called CHICKEN SATAY. The chicken skewer's seasoning was a perfect blend of spice, sweet and salty! 👌🏻 But the best part about this dish has got to be the sauces! While the first sauce gave the chicken an extra kick for spice lovers, the second sauce gave a bland sweetness, which somehow complimented the chicken very well. What made the chicken over the top was the combination of the sticky rice! 🤤<br/><br/>For dessert, we had the STICKY RICE WITH MANGO. 😃 The sticky rice with coconut milk and a side of fresh mangoes tasted fresh and original. The mangoes were Thailand mangoes. The taste didn't really suit my tastebuds but my friends loved it! The best compliment for the meal was weirdly, the drink we had! One of us had ordered Avocada juice and it was fantastic! It was thick because of the crushed and blended ice and was the right amount of sweetness. But what made the juice the best was the honey that made the drink just sweet enough! 😋<br/><br/>The dishes were really good and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone searching for an authentic Thailand taste because soon enough, your gonna miss it! 😍<br/><br/>Amina Abdul Kader-

Paasing by the road and with thai cuisine It can't go wrong. So I decided to have Tom Yam Goong with noodlea with extra spicy flavour. And it really was nice!!! Hope to drop by again and taste more dishes.<br/>

We really enjoyed in our foods. Very authentic Thai food. All staff are friendly and very nice service i do recommend duck. Every time when i go here i always ordered duck. nice must visit. 😋😋😋

Great Thai food... Pad Thai is even better than in Thailand. Green curry, Tom yum and spicy beef soup are a must. Although the place is small but the customer service is great.

New kid in town, plenty of parking space in the area, good atmosphere and hands down as "The best authentic Thai restaurant in the city. Period."

Its definitely delicious, as we visit this restaurant with my american boyfriend, we really enjoyed the food. Serve with a heartfelt smile. Even your here in Abu Dhabi, feels like ur eating the same padthai in bangkok. The sizzling gambas and indonesian megoring is worth a try. As an asian i need to introduce asian cuisine to my boyfriend since he is from america, and im very thankful to Asian Plate Restaurant for bringing the taste of Asia here in Abu Dhabi. No doubt, i will introduce it to my friends. And no regrets trying this restaurant. Surely, i will comeback with bunch of friends. And try all dishes. Oppssss... il take an add on. Philippine banana turon and sticky rice with mango has awesome taste...

Relaxing ambiance, delicious food! Friendly and accomodating staff, and a very passionate chef and owners !!  must visit and try their thai specialities... The best I've had in the Capital city..... really loved it......

I was excited to taste this new addition to Asian restaurant so I thought of trying it but overall experience wasn't really up to expectations. <br/>Pricing : Prior to visiting the restaurant, We checked their prices online which was similar to smoking doll, lemongrass or shanghai surprise. We still decided to try expecting the same level of service and food but it was no where near. Definitely overpriced for this type of restaurant. Chinese sweet and sour soup we ordered for example costs AED 42.00 vs AED 25 of average price for this kind of soup. <br/>Ambiance : only four set of table inside the restaurant and not a comfortable ambiance to dine in.<br/>Food: the taste is fair but now wow. Portion is not generous. <br/>Service : they definitely not well trained I terms of service. Well, they are nice but needs lots of training. We ordered sweet and sour soup, fried rice and garlic shrimp. Rice came first to the table follow by soup. Not a good sequence of service. We are the only customer in the restaurant and maybe around 5 staffs around but no one was cleaning our table when we finished eating. The restaurant doesn't accept credit card and my husband had to look for nearest ATM machine to pay. I was waiting for over 20 minutes in the Restaurant with dirty dishes in front of me. <br/>Will I come back ? Big NO. I would have spent the same money in Samurai or Shanghai Surprise next door with far better food, ambiance and service.<br/><br/><br/><br/>.
