I’ve never actually been to the restaurant, but since I’ve moved to Abu Dhabi, this place has been my go to for great authentic food. Highly recommend the kebabs

One of the few authentic and quiet possibly the best Iraqi Masgouf restaurant in Abu Dhabi by far.
It's a neat, elegant place wirh lovely interiors, perfect for a family night out.
We went for the Masgouf and ended up trying a whole bunch of their specialities.
Started off with a creamy Lentil Soup with fresh baked bread which was light and delicious.
Then we had a host of hot and cold Mezze out of which were all fantastic.
Then came the Masgouf on a huge platter. The server expertly removed the bone and served us huge portion.
It was cooked to perfection, charred and cruncy on the outside delicate and flakey on the inside just perfect.
The Ouzi was a Rack of Lamb with Saffron Rice on the side.
Then meat was fork tender and just melted in your mouth.
We tried a Chicken Kebab as well which was really nice too.
It's a great place to take visiting guests to enjoy a unique and authentic Iraqi dining experience.
Great food, superb presentation and on point service made it a delightful evening.

Had a great dinner at Layali Baghdad couple of days ago. My dad has been on the lookout for Iraqi kebabs for quite a while and then, we found this perfect place.
Great ambience and authentic Iraqi kebabs. Absolutely loved the juicy kebabs and the grilled chicken. The kebabs were accompanied with their lentil soup and finished the meal with their coffee.
The servers were nice and pleasant, gland helpful. Overall, a great place for quality Iraqi food

When we walked in we were greeted warmly by our host and told we could sit anywhere. Most places do this, but since it was a beautiful dining area, I made sure we sat by the windows. The menu had a lot of options. As another commenter said "more description would be nice" and I agree.
We got the Hummous, Lamb Tikka, and Dolma. The hummous and bread were amazing. I personally like more acidity in my hummous, but they provide fresh lemons, and my wife liked it how it was. The dolma was prepared quickly, so its unlikely it was made 100% fresh, but the flavor was AMAZING! The Lamb Tikka was good, but could have used more spices/flavor. It was cooked well though and not overcooked.
They undercharged us (they forgot the water) but we of course mentioned it as we want to be fair. The prices were on the high side, but they are compatible with Zomato Gold (1+1 free dish on food).
Lastly they gave us a complimentary dessert dates with tahini, and the dates were the best I have ever had. I couldnt understand what the server was saying when he was explaining the type. Tamel? But it was great!

We got a delivery from the restaurant a big maskof fish the cleanest one i had in my life. The fish was well done and still heated it came along bread, soup, salad and all kind of pickels. I cant recomend this place enough for traditional Iraqi food and good portion size meal. Keep the good work.
Well well well finally laid my hands on some authentic Iraqi cuisine ... delivered ... the maskoof was to kill for ... well done ... well spiced as it’s mostly salt I guess but too good .. the soups and salads were very generous ... good to go
Had lunch here on UAE national day and got 47% discount.
The food was so delicious, we tried chicken quzi - tashreeb meat and the shoulder piece with 4 kind of rice , all were good specially the meat

Honestly, I have not tried other Iraqi restaurants, but I can highly recommend this resturant judging by the quality and service ... 5* from me
