The best place to have a bite to eat any time of the year but do go before Christmas because the place is so beautifully decorated!
Just got a cake made from here. Ordered everything through the facebook page. Absolutely loved how it turned out and we really liked the design and the taste. It was not dry at all and even the frosting tasted really good. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family �
The cafe was gorgeously dressed for Christmas and the staff couldn't have been nicer, but it was the food that stole the show. Super tasty, good portion sizes and great value for money.
This is one of my Happy Places. They decorate for every season (with especially lovely Christmas decor). The food is lovely, the servers are lovely, the owner is lovely. I highly recommend it.
I ordered my son’s 3rd birthday cake— vanilla layers with caramel in between, white fondant and monster trucks! It was delicious and looked great, we got a lot of inquiries about where we got it. They also delivered the cake to the location which was a great time & stress saver. Many thanks to a talented team!

Really nice cozy atmosphere. It’s in Khalidiya village club and outside pool view is great. The food and service were great. Tried break fast at Tiffany’s and the living room break fast. Both of them were nice and worth the prize. Liked the mangajo drink very well.
A quiet morning for a weekday breakfast. The aroma of freshly brewed Americano with warm milk on the side reignites our conversation after every sip.
The Big Breakfast is delish (2 eggs - I requested for scrambled , 2 turkey bacon, 2 hash browns, sautéed cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and onions served with 2 slices of warm toast.
My friend ordered Homemade Pancakes. She was served with 3 warm and fluffy pieces of homemade pancakes topped with sliced strawberries and a whole blueberry, served with maple syrup, 2 small cups of unsalted butter and icing sugar.
Their Traditionsl English Scones are perfect for a breakfast venture and a delicious match for tea ( crispy on the outside and soft in the inside).
Closure with a glass of Freshly Squeezed Orange and Fresh Lemon with Mint.
We recommend this charming cafe for those who prefer some quiet time (preferably weekdays in the morning) or a family bonding time (play area for children within the premise and various board games are available).

A cute little cafe nestled inside Khalidiya Villaelge which literally looks like you're dining at home! Went there on a brunch date with friends and loved their Big Breakfast also the Classic breakfast. Well made & good portions. However, didn't fancy their french toast too much as it was a bit on the dry side - also the staff seemed to be making quite a few mistakes in our orders, but were very friendly and smiley so pretty easy to forgive!😊
I need to go back and try a few of their main courses and much heard of spicy wedges soon though xx

A beautiful surrounding and cosy inside design. Was expecting for more seating place inside. There are also seatings outside but getting too hot for that, otherwise outside might be even more enjoyable than inside. Super nice and friendly staff. We went for breakfast that was good and prepared fast. The menu seemed mouthwatering so would live to come back for more. Board games and books available for some nice time with friends and family.
Hidden gem in Khalidiya area. It’s located inside a residence subdivision and it’s secure because of the guarded entrance. A little pricey for a cafe but the ambiance is quiet. If you’re looking for a some privacy or quiet place to chill, this is a good spot.
The cafe is in a hidden place inside a complex which makes it usually quiet. I tried to have a breakfast once there which was pretty good. I also tried some of the desserts and I liked them along with their tasty coffee.
If you’re looking for a place to sit and relax while enjoying good food or a nice beverage this is the place to be. One just feels like they’re at home which I love.
The place is nice and the staff were nice too, the food is quality food, but no very big expectations, well, it's a bit hard to find, which is not so good for them, but on the other hand you can park your car anywhere without worrying about the parking. I think inside the seating should be a bit more fresh, because it's really like a living room, but sometimes you need a bit of sun light and air inside rather than A.C. and bulbs.
Will go there again to try the sweets, they have a variety of cakes and sweets.

A fabulous place to have authentic English breakfast. Its cute decor and friendly staff were an added bonus. The food was equally delicious and worth the price. Highly recommended. By far one of the "best kept secret" in Abu Dhabi.
Tiny little place tucked away amidst a residential community, this place was a surprise.
They served gourmet breakfast options and we ordered the hot chocolate and fresh avacado shake as our morning drinks and they were both great.
I also ordered the English breakfast platter which was the perfect quantity and well done. All of the food also came along with these extra mini cupcakes which were a true delight to eat!

Had a great experience visiting this place. The interior decoration is spectacular, the place is extremely cozy - inside and outside, the staff was very friendly and the food delicious. Wen‘t for a veggie burger which was very yummi, can also recommend their fresh juices, especially the orange juice.

I definately love this place its my third time at this place and o fall in love with it despite the fact its very small but it gives u this cozyness and friendly atmosphere. They have a variety of options in the menu and last time i have tried anjy's breakfast was was very tasty but i would recommand to add some taste to the avocado spread with lemon and salt. But in general the place is worth visiting especially if u have little ones they can play infront of you

A very cozy atmosphere and staff are friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast but didn't leave full, so either we were very hungry or the portions weren't enough? It was a first timer to leave still hungry so that was odd. (Or we're just big eaters) nonetheless the food was great, worth the price and the visit! They had their Halloween decorations up which was festive but got me feeling a little claustrophobic. It really is a 'living room feel' I'd come back but would sit outside next time. :)
A v.cozy place with a trendy atmosphere, where you are able to catch up with a friend or work. Freshly made food that is generous in portion, of high quality and relatively cheap. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Also, the desserts displayed look quite tempting!
Unique neighborhood place located in a sort of compound. Although centrally located, this place is serene and cut off from the hustle and noise which is a big plus.
Interiors are cozy,place is usually dim lit and seating is comfortable. Fish tank and a few other things gives a 'feel at home' touch or a real 'living room' feel as the name suggests.
The team is amazing, friendly and serve very professionally. Most items we have tried from the menu are fabulous. Modestly priced with optimum quantity per portion.
Wifi connection of the outlet is a big highlight. Very strong and active connection with high speed browsing. Since it is part of the community compound, you are never looking for parking.

Believe it or not I came to know tis place by chance and oh boy was it an awesome chance. The decor is cozy and you feel like you're being hugged by your nana when sitting inside. The staff is friendly and if you're lucky you will catch one of them singing behind the counter which is sometimes really entertaining :D XD. The food is fresh and when I came to know its authentic Aussie it added to its credibility.
Recommended for a night out away from packed cafes and loud noises and I really love that its smoke free too, "sorry my smoking folks".
We went here for breakfast after reading good reviews on zomato. The decor here is extremely cozy. The place is relatively small it was not crowded when we went there. I guess it would appear a little congested if more tables were occupied.
The staff was very hospitable and friendly. The food arrived fresh and was well served. The spanish omelet was very nice and well cooked. The coffee was average but nothing to complain about. Overall it was a decent experience and we would try them again for a lunch or dinner sometime.
A true hidden gem, simply because of its cosiness and being tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Have been here twice now, the first time for breakfast ...and enjoyed that a lot! My most recent visit was for dinner and we opted for the chicken cachiaatore and the carbonara pasta. The former was extremely tangy while the latter was way too bland ( needed some salt and chilli flakes to spice it up! )for dessert, we had the banoffee pie which was the best part of the meal. Service was alright, although I felt like the hosts were in a hurry to close the place for the night and kept clearing away our table mid meal. Could have been a bit better only on the service front.

I love breakfast so any place with all day breakfast is winning in my books! Cozy (and I mean tiny) cafe and the kids area was perfect to entertain the toddler between bites. Would be nice if the kids menu offered more than deep fried wonders or pasta. Great coffee, delightful scones and good food all round. Will be back to sample Carmel Slice and Lamingtons

The living room is a nice little place tucked away in khalidiya village. The place is small and cosy with comfy sofas …they also have outdoor seating which would be ideal during the winters. A cappuccino: AED 16 I loved the coffee especially the little cupcake that came with it was tasty. For breakfast, we had ‘The Big Breakfast’ AED 36 which was 2 eggs, turkey bacon, hash brown, sauté of cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and onions accompanied with toast
Been here twice. First time, we tried the breakfast, which was nice. The mushrooms were very tasty. We ordered a banoffee pie for dessert which was awesome!
Second time around, we tried their mains. I had the salmon, which was a bit dry for me, and my husband ordered their fish and chips -- really good! We had coffee and a slice of chocolate cake afterwards which were both really good! The service is excellent as well. Will definitely come back

This place was quite small but it was cozy and looked dainty. Their breakfast was nothing special but oh my gosh their red velvet cheesecake was comparable to The Cheesecake Factory's (didn't think the day would come that I'd say that.) Very small parking space so I'd come here on nonpeak hours. Giving a 4 for that slice of cake.☺
It's a small place but the desserts make up for that. It's actually nice because it's not too crowded. A great place to chill in the afternoon or at night. Music gets loud sometimes but I'm sure the staff won't mind turning it down if you asked for it. Banoffee pie is recommended, so are other desserts. I've had food a few times, quality was good and service time is quick. However, if you sat on the couches, eating would be somewhat of a challenge, who eats on the living room couch anyway 😛
Amazing cosy place, found this place on zomato and decided to visit. Amazing food, amazing prices, friendly staff and clean. It really felt like home, reminded me of Australia as I'm Australian myself. Definitely recommend, love the kids corner. And amazing outdoor seating perfect for winter..

We have made it a habit of indulging in a brunch every Saturday. Lazy Saturday mornings, wake up late, away from the daily work hustle and have a blissful mid-morning with family. The last Saturday we decided to head to The living room cafe. Having viewed the ratings and reviews on Zomato, this place was always on my list.
Warm, cozy and small. Located inside khalidiya village, it is indeed a hidden gem. Use google maps to find it easily. Loved the interiors not too over done, just right. The atmosphere is not too rushy, not noisy, you can have a decent conversation over breakfast, lunch or dinner. The breakfast was all five! We ordered Simona's extra special breakfast, with spanish omelette, one cheesy the other regular, both equally good. Their bread was fresh and fluffy, coffees were good too. The service was simply brilliant, very friendly staff. They have a little kids play area to keep the little ones occupied.
Perfectly checks out the tag for the hidden gem. The location may seem a bit hard to find, but look around behind Khalidiya Mall or ask your cabbie to drop you at Khalidiya Village, its accessible. Went for their morning breakfast and it was fulfilling to say the least. Salads looked appeasing too and was tempted to try their main course, albeit next time perhaps. Definitely will come again.
First of all, it took us over 30 minutes to find, because we didn't know it was inside Khalidiya Village. They should at least have a sign outside the compound, or mention it in their address. Now I was pretty excited to come to a restaurant that had all day breakfast, but the chicken cacciatore caught my eye because it looked so much like a famous African dish (Jollof rice...yes Nigerian Jollof is the best). Aside from that, the usual chicken cacciatore is served over a bed of white rice, but it seemed like they made a one pot chicken cacciatore, and I just had to try it. It was so delicious!!
My friend had one of their beef burgers, but the burger was dry and the meat needed some juice in it.
I would definitely be going back to have the all day breakfast!
Been here twice, on a date and with a group, both experiences were excellent. Customer service was exemplary. Some items on the menu may not be as interesting (like the salmon which I found a tad bit dry), but the coffee, drinks and desserts are tasty. Also the breakfast items are nice.

This place tucked inside Khalidiyah village is definitely a lovely place to be. Not my first time here had found this place on zomato last year when me and hubby Shezeen Anwer wanted to explore some new coffee place. You come here and not try their famous Australian Lamington cakes chocolate or strawberry is a miss then. They have some nice mocktails to try too. Their Blue paradise is another favourite. The cookies are yum too.
Quite a decent place for breakfast. They take alot of time to serve you. But it's worth it when it comes to taste of food. Portion of food plate is pretty much large. They should do something about their pretty much disturbing. Anyways I am gonna try this place again for sure.
It's a real hidden gem, I was looking for a new place to have a good Friday breakfast and found this on zomato and very glad that I did, I just loved the ambiance very cosy and intimate and the staff are nice it is a good experience and definitely to be repeated.

Came here today with a bunch of friends for breakfast
We ordered omelettes with turkey ham and hash browns, and scrambled eggs with steak.
My omelette was well done and the turkey ham tasted good too, the hash browns had a rather different taste but they were fine.
I ordered a drink called paradise punch, which is sparkling water and watermelon and peach syrup, highly recommend it, perfect summer drink haha 👌
Edit: We ordered dessert later 😂 got red velvet cheesecake, Nutella oreo cheesecake, and most importantly, rocky road, which is marshmallows, malteseres, and molten chocolate, definitely recommend it!

Abu Dhabi needs more casual low key breakfast spots like this one. Food is not fussy, just simple and basic but nice.

Good food ~ just not the best tasting. We have tried a number of items on the menu:
-egg croissant ~ yummy
- spaghetti ~ Meh there are much better tasting sauces (thickness and flavor) in AD
- tuna sandwich ~ nothing special but ok
Food was good but nothing special. Tastes home cooked which I like but not a place I would add to my favorites must return to as there was no special taste to the food to make it unique. Okay restaurant, not a must try.
I have been here several times now, staying at this place always feels great. The ambiance of the café is very inviting and comfortable. The staff were friendly enough to allow me feed the street cats 😍 and the food was good. I tried their poached eggs are a breakfast and it's a must try. I recommend adding some fresh vegetables on the side as it felts so dry. The carrot cake was too dry for my liking however I am looking forward to try some other aussi deserts at this Australian cafe😍
Saw the review about the Living Room cafe on zomato and decided to take our chance... well guess what! Its a little gem hidden in the middle of abu dhabi... we were so hungry that i didnt have time to take any picture of the food... everything was just excellent from the omelette to the tiny cup cake served with the coffee... will definitely come back again
This was surprisingly good! Found this place by chance as it is inside a complex and their food is much better than expected. We tried many of the dishes on their menu and it is one of the better cafes. Its inside seating area is quite small and sometimes you could be the only table there.

I finally made it to this hidden gem! It's a lovely, little café that feels quite homey. It has two outdoor seating areas as well, one outside the main entrance, and the other beside the swimming pool.
Alan took care of my order, and he was friendly and efficient. Thank you, Alan, for a pleasant start to my day. :)
So, for my breakfast, I ordered the Spanish Omelette at Dh. 36. It was light and hearty at the same time. I loved it. And I especially loved the piece of toast that came with it, the bread was amazing. The cherry tomatoes and mushrooms were full of flavour. The hash browns were a bit oily, but still tasted good. :D
For my drink, I had a Flat White, at Dh. 18. And it was one of the best I've had!
They had a lovely display of cakes, cookies, etc. at the counter, that I couldn't resist taking something with me as take-away. I got me some Banana Bread. Yummy!
I look forward to going back. Especially to try the Banana Bread French Toast.
A note to the management:
Kindly update the menu on Zomato. And also, the timings. Apart from that, keep up the great work! :)
This is a real hidden gem... The location and the ambience is too too good... Loved their Oreo nutella cheesecake cake and red velvet cheesecake and cappuccino ✌🏻️
For first timers it's a tough place to find... stick to your maps... it's a rustic cosy cafe... food is really good... tried different items from across the menu... food was brilliant... small but perfect menu covering all the major items... desert is tasty nothing too sweet just right... must try. ..
the place is different , inspite of it is in the heart of abu dhabi , you will feel like it will take you away to a a totally different atmosphere , the food was very nice , i was there on saturday morning , the place was almost full , and staff was a little bit ocuppied that i had to wait for a while till set my order .
the indoor area is small & i think in summer months it will be very crowded , but as weather now is very nice i chose to sit outdoor . very nice experience , try it if you want something different
I really like this place. Small and cozy but food and coffee is excellent. The portions are good and everything i tried till now was excellent. They have really yummy cakes. White chocolate cheesecake is a must try !
Visited this place on a lovely morning for a simple breakfast. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas and all the pastries on display were so mouth watering. My friend and I opted to have a light breakfast and so ended up ordering the french toast and nutella crepe. The french toast consisted of 2 thick sliced of toast served with honey and powdered sugar. It was lovely. The nutealla crepe however had too much of nutella on it; something if ure in the mood for a sugar rush. If you opt to dine outside, you have a lovely view of the swimming pool. All in all, a fantastic experience.
I loved the location, liked the service and food was great but the setting could be a lil better.
We went on a nice evening dinner, but as my dinner partner was not too hungry he ended up having a big breakfast. Unlike how the bread is usually complimentary with breakfasts ( each place do have its ways ) we ended paying 5 aed each for two slices of bread !
I opted for a crumbled chicken burger with veggies and must say was worth the penny :)
And the highlight of the evening was the spicy potato wedges which was aptly named spicy as I ended up bawling after licking the plate out !!
The drinks were fine. Nothing special.
Overall, I would say I may visit the place again for its menu and would suggest anyone who wants to visit the place to sit inside. My outside experience wasn't that great !!
P.S. : the gluten free brownie which I took home was to die for but waaaaaaaaaay tooo overpriced at Aed 20 for a block with no ice cream or choco sauce as displayed on the name card !!!

sometimes you will say to yourself how come i didn't try this before , this what came to my mind today, really a lovely nice spot in Abu Dhabi , i liked the place its really looks like a small living room in your house. the food choices were great you can find many cuisine for each person , the variety of the menu is a great thing as you can let all people to enjoy whatever they like . we ordered salad, soup and main courses all of them were amazing.
the services was extremely good. the place is nice and most important the staff were helpful . for sure will come back again to try the breakfast.

This café is a hidden gem in khalidiyah compound. The place was decorated in pink for breast awareness month. It has an inside and outside seating area plus a toddlers area so moms can have some quiet coffee time. The waiter was very attentive! We had the big breakfast, one strawberry banana smoothie and a cappucino and they were perfect for breakfast!
If your looking for a place to dine , that resembles closest to your home, then you got to be here. The place is relatively small, but its calm a perfect place to be when your looking to spend some good quality time. The place also has a small kids play room. Coming to the food, we ordered egg's Benedict and Jacques croissant creation. The eggs Benedict tasted lovely, the croissant creation was good, the egg filling was a little too much, which made it slightly dry , but its quite big meal for one to have. We had a caramel chocolate cake as our dessert which was nice ,and the coffee served were also good. I did see a wide range of cakes , would love to try them the next time.
Was my first time at this place last week. I must say the ambience was quite cozy and refreshing. Everyone who worked there were really friendly and inviting. I placed an order for the Thai curry and I did enjoy it. The drinks on the other hand were just average. I would recommend people to try this place but at the same time not expect too much when they do.

A trip to The Living Room Cafe, Khalidiya Village has been on my agenda for a long, long time. Tucked away in a corner of the city, it is slightly hard to locate. Definitely worth the effort though, dropped in for lunch with a friend after reading a couple of great reviews on Zomato and the experience was truly satisfying. A quaint little cafe with a fairly diverse menu, ranging from Thai to Indian to Italian cuisine, friendly staff and warm, tastefully done interiors add to its charm. We tried their lemon mint cooler, fresh orange juice, Chicken Parmigiana - spaghetti served with breaded chicken fillets, and Basil Pesto Pasta with chicken. The spaghetti was delicious, the rich sauce went perfectly with the crumb coated chicken, topped with mozzarella cheese. Dug into the divine pasta with Pesto sauce, an all-time favorite of mine, and couldn't help but marvel at the magic the chefs at TLRC create. A variety of temping cakes and cookies are on display at the counter, unfortunately we were too full for dessert. Quite reasonable as well, I'd love to go again someday.

What an amazing decorated restaurant. Makes you feel as dream home at English country or scotish weather. Tasty food. Please try to make Arabia breakfast meal.
If i could just rent this living room and live in it! Im gonna start backwards this time.. SWEETS is an absolute must, a huge variety of tastes made from the heart! For the main course make sure you don't hesitate to change the ingredients to the way you like because they are GOOD at it, for example i ordered steak but i asked for them to chop it and marinate it in mushroom sauce! Unreal guys i highly recommend a visit, the place is very cozy and comfortable and they recently changed the seating area! The staff are helpful and funny, they do joke around a bit sometimes which is nice and one last thing.. NO smoking indoors
An ideal place for weekend breakfast! Small one but the living room theme is amazing.The outdoor seating would be great during winters. . Would definitely take family n friends there next time. .

Nice café which is a little bit tricky to find. On Fridays you have to arrive early, around lunch time it is already packed. We had a good time there,
Pearl Jam on the speakers.... me and my friend were sold. Its a quaint little place, food was delicious. Poached eggs was cooked perfectly to my liking. As for the Hawaiian pizza, my friend was happy with it. I am not crazy about Hawaiian pizza .🍍on my 🍕 is not the highest on my taste bliss :) The cookie was the best of it all. I believe it was the Enzac / Anzac cookie. So soft and not too sweet. I had the Beef casserole as a take away for a friend of mine. The feedback was good on that. If you haven't been to this place then.... What are you waiting for?

It deserves 5, location perfect, service also, big choice of cakes ,and coffee is very very good, but u can't find it easily if it's ur first time
This is the PERFECT place to go to whenever you want to catch up with an old friend or just spend the night out and relax. I'm a huge fan of their cappucino. It's warming ♡. I've tried some of their desserts and they seem to be good as well! I don't eat much here but I have had breakfast once and it was great! I also had dinner once but I wasn't in the mood but my partner said he enjoyed his dish and it was great! Overall, I come here for their coffee, desserts and the environment of the café, it's super chill in the evenings!
Slightly pricy, a bit too small with just 4 - 5 tables and might need reservations on weekends. The food is delicious even though there's just a limited amount of dishes. I honestly enjoyed the Strawberry & Banana Smoothie and the Red Velvet Cheesecake and got what I exactly expected of it. But it kind of annoyed me that the Smoothie is Dhs. 25 and the slice of cake is Dhs. 30. But the quantity of both were very satisfactory. The burger was also very delicious. I dunno why they sliced it into 4 though. The total experience was very enjoyable and I'd recommend this place anyday for a brunch or a relaxing evening.

Good food.... good service... great place for breakfast or a casual lunch. Ordered a variety of items, and nothing was disappointing. Loved the pizza. Don't forget to take you entertainer vouchers ;)
