Visited this week and had an all american burger, so good! My friend had the popcorn shrimp burger (I managed to get a bite), which was super tasty - would love to come back and try it again for myself! Staff were really lovely and helpful, great evening :)

I like the atmosphere, except the music is so loud even the wait staff had difficulty understanding our order.

For anyone who has an inner child inside who craves sweet, sweet and more sweet, this is the place to live out your fantasy, and the burgers aren't bad either.

All burgers are super expensive but no value for your money. The vegan burger is just smashed black beans and rice (it was falling apart). It had no seasoning and was bland. The meat ones one are not better either. There are better places for burger. The Impossible burger was not available. The shakes are way too expensive. Coke (200ml) was 16 dhs. Not recommended.

Shout out to our server, Pwan. he was so nice and accomodating. He always checks if we needed something. The impossible burger was so good but quite pricey for 100dhs.

Heard about this place and its burgers for a while now. So i had to go try it. We were welcomed by Jen and showed us to our table . Our waiter was amazing he took care of us so well. The restaurant's manager also gave us complimentary dishes as he knows i was trying to reach the restaurant long time ago. The burgers were so yummy and tasty. We started with the atomic shrimps and then choose the burgers and then milkshakes.

I visited Black Tap in Yas Mall with my cousin who visiting from the UK, both of us were in town for the UFC. The ambiance and energy was amazing, testament to the great fun staff.<br/><br/>We both ordered burgers, the Texan and All American, both were amazing 😉 definitely a great fun way to enjoy burgers in a lovely friendly environment.<br/><br/>Highly recommended 👌

Visited based on reviews but was very very disappointed. Not sure what the hype is about! The service is horrible, very unwelcoming and we had to keep asking for service but they couldn't care less! The food is just below average burgers and the shakes are nothing to rave about!

When you think American, you remember all those shows, where they show diners serving those juicy burgers with cola or milkshakes and those golden potato french fries. Black Tap is exactly that diner. Serving those BBQ wings with delicious burgers and Freak shakes!. So, we ordered a ton of food, as always! Because well when you will see the menu, you would also want to order, EVERYTHING! The sides served at Black Tap were just as delicious as the burgers and shakes. We took back a lot of favourites from this place.

I really liked the craziness of this place. The food, however, was somewhat a hassle to eat. <br/><br/>I ordered the piña colada (Crazy Colada) which tasted fairly good, but it had too much whipped cream on top and things like pineapple and passion fruit slices hanging from it that kept falling off once the whipped cream started melting which made a mess on the table (and on me). The piña colada portion, besides the huge chuck of whipped cream, also wasn’t enough for the price of the drink. I noticed that the glass was filled with ice instead of the actual mocktail which bothered me because I really wanted to have a piña colada that day and I finished this one in two sips.<br/><br/>I was also excited to have the shrimp tacos but once I bit into them I was instantly thrown over. I hadn’t been told that the red cabbage in the tacos would be pickled before I ordered them and I HATE pickled food. I did end up finishing my tacos but I really didn’t enjoy having them at all.<br/><br/>One thing that I enjoyed having, however, were the truffle fries. I don’t think any restaurant can go wrong with these, but the ones at Black Tap are a must-have. They’re rich in truffle flavor and come with a fairly generous amount of sauce. The waiter was also nice enough to bring us more sauces to try.<br/><br/>Overall, this place is nice to visit with a couple of friends, but make sure to ask about their best sellers instead of relying on your taste buds/what you’re craving that day because you wouldn’t want to make the mistake I did.

I've been looking forward to try this restaurant after reading so many positive reviews. The sandwiches are made so carefully and the dish is highly maintenance and presentable, but actually I wasn't that fascinated of the burger taste. the burger itself was much solid (not juicy). The fries are normal. Above all of that, the price tags are so high for burger sandwich.

Burgers and shakes.... absolutely on point... the seating could be a lot more comfortable... hard surfaces everywhere... but my biggest problem is not having even one in house hand wash station to wash off the now greasy fingers... INEXCUSABLE!!!!

Best Burger in town. Go for The Carolina Burger and add fried eggs. A more expensive option for burgers. Ut absolutely worth every penny. Haven't tried the shakes but they look great. Will definitely visit again and again

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Abu Dubai. I always take my family there and we always enjoy the food and the music. I’ve never met a friendlier staff they’re all so amazing. I usually order the peanut butter milkshake which is so delicious. The nachos are great. The chicken wings are absolutely delicious!!!! And my favorite burger is the Mexico City it’s just .... YUUHHMM👌🏽

We visited Black Tap last weekend for lunch and we very much enjoyed our experience. The service is excellent and the staff are very attentive! They have a wide selection of burgers. I had the All American burger and it was really tasty. The meats are carefully selected so the taste of the meat on its own was awesome! We also tried two of their crazy shakes which were absolutely beautiful presented and their taste was just right after the burgers! oh and I forgot to mention about the Korean BBQ wings that we had as our starter, they were probably the best wings I've ever had and I'm still craving for them until we go there the next time. Highly recommended, especially if you have kids :)

I am quite disappointed with Black Tap. <br/>It was on my radar for a while so we gave it a try on Friday, thought it would be buzzing but it wasn’t the case. Empty restaurant and about 6 families outside. <br/>The food was ok, nothing to rave about. Kids didn’t eat their fried chicken and hubby’s burger had an usual flavour to it that we didn’t like. The fish tacos & fish and chips were ok. <br/><br/>I found prices quite steep for a mall outlet so we skipped the freak shakes. Black tap doesn’t offer local water on their menu and the only choice was a 750ml Evian water for 25 dhs.<br/><br/>They do not have a kids menu either, the waitress mentioned a burger for 55dhs for the kids without drinks.<br/><br/>Having said that the staff members were friendly. <br/><br/>Will i visit again? No.

This place is just perfect, the outdoor seating next to the fountain and the big space and vibe it has. As for food, i tried the texan burger and it was delicious!! Just order it medium/well and it will melt in your mouth. The virgin pinna colada is so refreshing as well. Certainly will go back again :)

I was expecting something special or unique on their burgers and shakes but I found nothing. Common food which is not reasonably priced for you can pay for a lesser amount for the type of food you ate but better tasting. The shake was quite bland. Shakes sold on small cafeterias taste better, with all honesty. Burger was common, patty, veggies, and toasted bun. I was hoping maybe there’s something different on the sauce, but to no avail. Pasta was same.<br/>I don’t recommend this since you cannot get value on what you paid for.

the place was a bit crowded not sure if they were understaffed or it was just a hectic night for them. the food was okay, just okay which honestly seems to be the problem. looking at the price point and comparing the quality of food it was underwhelming. wouldn't recommend the place nor go to it again.

You've heard of their amazing shakes but did you know that the rest of @blacktapad’s menu is just as wild? The appetizers alone floored us thanks to the atomic shrimp, Korean bbq wings, Turkey salad. Not to mention an all-star line-up of burgers you have to try. The prices are comparable to The Cheesecake Factory, but so are the portions. It's a fair trade off. You won't leave feeling hungry. That is, if you ever leave at all. 👻 We could drown in the The Cake Shake and happily haunt the Black Tap kitchen forever. It legitimately tastes like cake batter, the only thing in life worth living for.Also shout-out to the Cookies 'N' Cream Supreme and Cotton Candy. 🏆 The former is a definite hit at any table, especially with the chocoholics.

I’ve been to Black Tap at Yas Mall several times. Their burgers, appetizers, and crazy shakes are excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. The crazy shakes are out of this world, particularly “ The Cake Shake”. It comes with a piece of confetti cake on top and it’s very delicious, but also quite sweet. I definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for the authentic American taste in both food and dessert. Keep up the good work!

The price of their shakes are around 65 AED which is a bit high but considering you get a dessert and drink in one it seems fair! <br/>So that’s the low down on the main event of the shakes. <br/>For the rest of our lunch we also enjoyed dishes such as the guac and chips, the Texan burger and tacos! I love that the tacos came in lettuce wraps but it was a bit too spicy for me. <br/>I definitely come here again for another treat day. A milkshake is a must order here, I saw every table with one and it’s also a very cute shareable drink/dessert! Enjoy the treat!

A good burger place, serves open top burgers. I generally prefer mine closed and ready to eat, the old fashioned way. Especially if it's a classic burger such as an American Cheeseburger etc. Quality of food was good, can't complain. Burger sizes a bit smaller than expected (eg not as big as the Cheesecake Factory) though the soft brioche type bun was great. Salads have a generous portion and if you order one then it's big enough for 3 to share. Friendly staff and service.

Vegan burger was ok and French fries were over-cooked.<br/><br/>No local water was available and the small bottle of water costs 16 AED! <br/><br/>Soft drinks were 16 AED and it's not refillable which is a bit pricey and unusual for an American restaurant. <br/><br/>I'm glad I tried it but at these prices I am not coming back again, I'd rather try other options.

Overrated and overpriced. Spent 50aed on 3 small cokes. Burger was not cooked properly and meat quality was poor. So disappointing. The manager handled the poorly cooked burger professionally and offered to cook me something else, but unfortunately I wasn’t hungry after the burger.

Iv seen picture of the crazy shakes and I sooo wanted to try them out. The location was little difficult to figure out, as there are many restaurants near Ferrari. But this one is right next to Ferrari world entrance. Loved the ambience and the decor. A chill place to hangout. We tried the crazy shakes - cotton candy 🍭 🍬 (strawberry shake) and the Brooklyn blackout (chocolate shake) . The presentation was the best with lollipop, candy and chocolate cakes on the shakes, and it did look crazy... 😍For main course, we ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, served along with fries. It was yum. The chicken and the sauces were really good.<br/><br/>A big thank you to Yosh, who was so friendly, polite and humble. She did make our evening a better one. Right from start till end, she made sure that we were comfortable. 😘😘

Visited yesterday with a friend and his family and I’m back today for a snack as well. Greeted by the lovely and ever smiling Jenine and was served by Elaida yesterday. Elaida’s suggestion of the Black Tap salad was what my friend and I had. We were mildly surprised by the preparation and the burger was spot on. Craft burger salads best of both worlds. Thank you Elaida for the great suggestion and service. The kids had a burger and of course the famed milk shake. Fantastic. The manager always comes around and inquires of the food and generally a feeling of good service and good food around. Today greeted by Yosh very welcoming and had the Atomic Shrimp served by Peter. For a snack just the right size. Good for a starter. In all my visits the staff have been very attentive and friendly always wishing well and inviting back. <br/>

Went there for their crazy shakes. The price was crazy too, they could lower it down a bit as there was nothing wow about the taste other than the look. Still a place to try once in a while. Will go back again for their burgers.

Wow!! This place is a catch. I went there for brunch with my sister today and I was pleased with the great service provided by Pong and Marlon. Fair warning the portion size is typically good for two people. I ordered for starters the fried mozzarella and atomic shrimp. The atomic shrimp tasted exceptionally good as it was well cooked and soft with a spicy flavor. I highly recommend the Korean chicken wings since it’s a flavor it available every where. Next I tried the vegan burger and the Carolina burger. I preferred the vegan burger as I’m not a fan of meat burgers but that’s a personal taste. If you would like to go for a healthy option I highly recommend their kale superfood salad. Moving onto desserts which is also known as crazy shakes at Black Tap. They have some crazy flavors like cotton candy which is a strawberry base flavor and a cookies and cream flavor. You can see how big they are in my photos below. I love the ambience of the restaurant. They also have an outdoor seating which overlooks the water fountain. All in all I rate this restaurant a 5!

When the cult New York craft burger and crazy shakes concept Black Tap opened in Dubai, we couldn’t wait to visit them. As it was always busy in the weekend, we couldn’t make it to either of their two outlets in Dubai. When we were visiting Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi this Friday, we booked ourselves a table at the newly opened Black Tap in the mall’s dining promenade.

Had been dying to visit Black Tap ever since it opened in Yas Mall, headed back there on Saturday for lunch<br/><br/>The interior is trendy, the music is catchy, the servers very friendly, we were guided to our table of choice.<br/><br/>We started off with the appetizers, got Atomic Shrimps – crispy golden shrimps served on a bed of dry coleslaw, lettuce with their signature atomic sauce, its tangy hot, promise to tingle your tastebuds, but in a good way, extremely juicy and crisp.<br/><br/>We also had the signature Black Tap Wings, done in their unique spicy Korean bbq, hands down most favourite, the meat tender juicy, topped with scallions and sesame seeds.<br/><br/>For drinks, my wife tried to be adventurous and ordered the Crazy Colada, (turned out it was AMAZING) it was a concoction of pineapple, coconut and passionfruit, with whip cream and a cherry on top, I am an anti-coconut person, but this drink is beyond expectations, really really good. I ordered the much safer slushe Orange Mango Blast, nice sweet, and apt to beat this heat.<br/><br/>For our mains, my choice was the Carolina Burger, it came with smokey pulled beef, on top of a medium well beef patty with coleslaw – yes all that came in a bun! The pulled beef is out of this world, so so good, Im craving one right now while writing this!<br/><br/>My wife got the Texan, medium well beef patty with bacon, mayo with sweet bbq sauce, trust me folks, the beef patty is different, unlike any other place you would have been to, we asked the server about it and were told that they don’t diverge their secret!<br/><br/>It’s true we were literally bursting after all the above, but how could we leave without having their crazy shakes!?<br/><br/>Cotton Candy was elected, it’s a strawberry shake, true to its name comes with blue pink cotton candy atop blue pink pearl chocolates all around, complete with a lollipop and rock candy! It’s a child’s heaven but we adults were equally dazzled, if not more!<br/><br/>Will keep goin back till I’ve tried all their shakes and their burgers!<br/><br/>It’s a 10/5 from me guys. Black Tap, a renowned New York restaurant popular for crazy shakes and craft burgers. Being a serious ‘fancy-shake-lover’ there is no wonder that Black Tap was in top of my bucket list when they opened in Abudhabi, Yas Mall ( Near Ferrari world after the Cascade dining area). We serve award winning New York style burgers, fries, wings, craft beers, mason jar cocktails, salads, sides, and of course our world famous Crazy Shakes making us the must try for every food tourist and burger obsessed New York Local.

The Tacos were full of flavour. The Mexican is unique, tasty and something you could comeback for. The Old Fashioned was average. Don't get me wrong, the meat was very good quality and cooked right. But it did lack some AED 85 worth magic.<br/><br/>All ingredients are fresh, so make sure you put the tomato and the lettuce on your burger. It's not just for presentation.<br/><br/>The milk shakes will take you back to your childhood. The had the Cotton Candy. This will be a hit if you have kids with you.<br/><br/>The ambience is relaxing, fun, graffiti on the wall. The service is not rushed and their staff are well trained. They have a semi private areas for families with children.<br/>

The atmosphere is nice along with the music. All staff were friendly and helpful and specially Peter who has prove an amazing customer service! At last and never the less their wings is a must!

Very nice ambiance, service was super excellent. I liked the service from Mr Mark he was very helpful and his recommendations was SUPER. I liked the American burger. kale super food salad was really nice

I had been wanting to visit the Black Tap in Dubai for the longest time but never got the chance. I was really excited when I found out it was opening in Abu Dhabi however, I was disappointed with my experience. Our food was late but we were compensated for that with an extra dish that was chicken strips which was nice of them. We ordered a burger and a cake shake. The burger was not seasoned at all, the bun was cold and overall it was tasteless, not worth the high price at all! I have had way better beef burgers for half that price. The chicken strips weren't too bad and the shake was also very ordinary. The shake was nothing special but the quantity was good.<br/><br/>Overall the service was very very slow and I was not a fan of any of the flavours.

So I went to burger and shake heaven when I ate here. Delicious! Tasty shakes! Juicy burgers! <br/>Love the vibe and the ambience.<br/>The milkshakes are huge and just out of this world.

Really happy you have a vegan burger!! I’d love it if maybe you could make a vegan milkshake too to cater for those dairy intolerant or vegans too. Other than that nice layout and good food.

Black Tap requires little introduction. The New York import famous for flavoursome craft burgers and excessive milkshakes has finally opened in the UAE capital. Black Tap has been on our radar for the best part of three years, with our Instagram feed inundated with appealing images of their signature (albeit excessive) shakes on an almost daily basis. Despite a number of failed visits to the Dubai locations at Jumeirah Al Naseem and Rixos Premium (it’s alway so damn busy) in the past few months, the Abu Dhabi branch was eerily quite during our lunchtime visit.

Probably the best burger I have had in Abu Dhabi. Great shakes as well. Staff is courteous and friendly. Next time I need my burger fix this is where I will be.

To start with, the girl at the reception, which later I knew her name is Yosh, was so accommodating and welcoming without being pushy, she led us to our table and professionally explained the menu and recommended according to our request. <br/>The food was served perfectly on time. The order was for two types of burgers and one tacos. The quality of the burger was very good as well as the sauces that come with it, the taste is kind of unique compared to others. The tacos is terrible, the bread is awful as well as the stuffing. I would rate the burgers 5 stars and the tacos 0. The ambiance in general is pleasant despite the crowd outside the restaurant due to mall activities. Need to try other food from the menu but for what we had tonight I give 4.

It was a great experience dining in this newly added food chain here in Cascade Dining. Black tap has the best tasting burger ever. The ambiance is very relaxing and the service was so so great. Thanks for the warm and very accomodating staff namely Kris, Mich & Arvie. Surely will go back. 😊😊😊

The Food is Great....Excellent service... cozy ambiance... Shout out to our Server Ms. Yosh for the accomodating service... Great idea to put sweet potato fries on the side... also the crazy good milkshake... special thanks to Mr. Chef for personally handing out his masterpiece to our table... definitely a place to go back to... see you again guys... keep up the good work!!!

The Craft Shakes are without a doubt, works of art. The burgers on the other hand were 'ok' at best. I would find tastier burgers at Cheesecake Factory.<br/><br/>One staff member had asked if I wanted water, I declined, and then immediately told 'its free'. Which I found rather insulting, having just paid 62 AED for a shake. I understand that the restaurant here is new, but if it wants to justify its high priced food items, then the staff needs some training in etiquette.<br/><br/>

Another fad/trend. Flavour wise, the chicken wings were GREAT. The milkshake on its own is great great too, if not leaning a little towards the too-sweet side. Whatever ice cream they use on their shakes though, is quite delicious. <br/><br/>Budget wise, if I must be honest, the flavour of their food doesn’t do the price justice. I’d pin their burgers in the 50-60’s range TOPS and their shakes no more than 40.<br/><br/>I would encourage anyone to go in and give it a go. It’s a nice, instagrammable kind of place. Fun experience.<br/><br/>But if I were to pick a burger and shake place to dine in, honestly, I have had way better for cheaper. <br/><br/>Definitely try the wings.

Black Tap NYC has made a cult-like following for itself with lines down the block and thousands of photos of their famous shakes scattered across Instagram.  So when Black Tap opened in Abu Dhabi last month, we were all a little thrilled.  And, in Abu Dhabi...

If you want real American burgers, this is the place to be! Save some room for the shakes. I was too full so I will definitely be back to try 1 or 2 :) well done!

The restaurant is toooo expensive! Need to reconsider their prices especially for the burgers..not worth the price at allll. The food was over all average <br/>

Heard a lot about this place... I came in with high hope and i was not dissapointed. The texan burger is a monster. A must try. The shakes look and taste the part. Make no mistake, this all comes at a price... but you cant argue with the taste and the value. A fiesta for the buds

Nice new addition to the dining scene in Yas Mall very classy decor and ambiance.<br/><br/>Two page menu with emphasis on burgers and shakes with some interesting options.<br/><br/>We tried the shakes and some fries, the shakes looked great and were well presented but taste was average the fries were good portion size could have been better.<br/><br/>Was quiet noisy with the music being too loud and service needs to improve. Lots of staff walking around looking really busy not paying attention to the diners.<br/><br/>Has the bones to be a great place but the pricing needs a serious rethink if they want to be around for a long time. It's definitely not value for money as it is today.<br/><br/>

Finally got the chance to try blacktap in Abu Dhabi. Ordered the Texan and All American Burgers. Both tasted very good cooked medium well. The burgers are of a really good quality.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, the burgers are overpriced for the portion and what you get which is not justified when you compare it to other burger joints. Even sodas are not refillable which is weird when they charge exactly the same as any other joint where sodas are refillable.<br/>I highly recommend the prices on the menu to be re-checked.
