Wanted to do go there for sometime but finally was able to go on a weekday. Pretty busy for a weekday as well. Ambience is good but a bit too noisy. If it was a lounge only, I can understand but this is a restaurant as well. As far as service is concerned it was a tad too cold. Maybe it’s the pandemic which is putting pressure on the staff. The food quantity is good enough for 1 person but the taste is the same that I usually get it in a normal Mexican restaurant. The ingredients seemed to be fresh and I was able to taste all the ingredients used in the cooking which is a plus point. Nothing was over powering the other. Nice place to visit occasionally rather than regularly.
When craving Mexican food and in Abu Dhabi, Loca should be your go to spot! Live music, great ambience, friendly staff, fast service and most importantly DELICIOUS food. What’s there not to love?

Loca has a great vibe. Their service is fantastic; Joanne was friendly and so patient. She explained the menu options in detail and checked on us often. They had good music and it was quite busy for a weekday. They have a fairly extensive food and drinks menu. We had a couple of drinks and the guacamole and salmon ceviche, that were very tasty. Would definitely visit again

Wonderful experience, with a refreshing starter of shrimps with orange sauce topped with avocado, onions and tomatoes, refreshingly delicious, also tried unforgettable beefs sizzler with an amazingly delicious Bbq sauce accompanied with paprika and caramolized onions with sider of rice and beans,

Fresh authentic Mexican food served super fast. Their guac is to die for and they didnt charge us for the extra serving of it which is a really nice detail because most of other Mexican restaurants do.
Our waiter Mark was really professional, friendly and attentive and figured a way through my lactose intolerance very quickly .
P.s.: in the evenings their Margaritas are top notch too! 😻
Lovely place, good ambience, with both indoor and outdoor options this is a total bonus! The outdoor deck is a good hangout with decent views for a relaxed day experience at the walk! Have been here a couple of times, the one man band is good! This place is baby and kid friendly!
Right place to be at for Mexican food and beers! My personal favorites were the Burritos, Fajitas but above all loved the Enchiladas (de pollo and rancheras). Always accompanied with Murphy’s!

Much nicer looking restaurant than it’s Dubai brother. The food was exceptional. Especially the flautas (lamb). Service was nice and it was very family friendly while still having an area for smokers and bar. Very well laid out. Thought the pricing was very reasonable. Loved it and will be back again and again.

This place is a just ridiculous! Why aren’t more people here right now? They have beer lines running to your table and some of the best Mexican food this side of the wall! Come for brunch and be wiped out with flavour. The cocktails are sooo good

I had my birthday celebration there and the whole group had different plates which all tasted really tasty. They allowed my birthday cake in too. The ambience, view and music on thursday nights are lovely.

There was a birthday cake at the end, which was magnificent, but didn’t get a chance to take a picture.
The food is okay and meets expectations but the flavors don’t pop. The cocktails are better and the view is lovely on a Saturday afternoon. Quite quiet on Saturday afternoons and a nice place to come for a sunset and to relax. Busy of weekends with dance music. The service has been better and more attentive but overall an enjoyable experience.

Well if you do want to bounce around two sides of the city, Reem Island would be Gotham City & the main city would be Arkham (only for batman fans), we continue to bounce around the Twin Mini Islands and sometimes hope to find a place that isn’t too crowded.
This is a waterfront location, the location is awesome in the night with spectacular skyscraper view's, food is really good and not too crowded. My table order came out on time. They have the best tortillas around, yes we will be going back soon to enjoy some more!
Tacos & Enchiladas are sidelined in kindness to the more traditional menu of home cooked favorites. If you want to make this a romantic night, score a table outside and the weather’s awesome during winter’s. The ribs were great and it had some really good taste . Weirdly I observed one of the waitresses’ have a breakdown maybe she was overworked or she wasn’t feeling too well. Nonetheless, my friends re-assured that it's alright. Well, it didn’t seem like it but I hope she is.
The vibe is low key when it's not lady’s night and the crowd was more restrained to quiet conversation. It consists of a mix of high top tables, bar seating and low tables you'll enjoy a taco or two with your friends. If you are sitting outside, you will be served drinks(alcoholic) in a mug. so if you’re not used to that, you can just hop, skip and jump in.
Wednesday night aka ladies night is why I keep coming back to Loca. Their Unlimited Margarita pitchers is the thing to look out for!! :) v ordered hard shell taco de Apollo and a soft shell taco baja which were scrumptious and filling but a bit pricey! An added bonus,As we were seated in the outside seating area, we were treated to a beautiful view of the Abu Dhabi night skyline! All in all a great experience!

Friday brunch at loca last week was a fun affair. The margaritas were delicious. I personally loved the passion fruit margarita. The food was lovely as well. We started of with some nachos with guacamole which was freshly prepared by our patron on our table . This was followed by a variety of tacos which was on a self service basis .I personally liked the fish and prawn tacos. There was also a variety of omelettes which none of us took a liking for..For main course I picked the beef ribs which was very nicely cooked. The dessert I chose not to indulge in however looked lovely.
There was some lovely live music as well which added to the allure of this place. However I noticed that the place wasn't packed with people as I would have expected . All in all it was a nice experience
Good place for enjoying music indoors/ outdoors, along with drinks. Seating areas make it all the more pub-like and fit for a catchup with friends. Tex-mex options are unlimited and scrumptious. Thanks Chef Salvador and sweetest Diane!!

Loca was recommended to me by an American friend when we were discussing good Mexican food. We went on a Sunday around 6. The ambience was lovely - the food was fantastic. The guacamole was wonderful, the beer was freezing, the tacos superb and the enchiladas reminded me of home. We had a fantastic meal. The service was attentive - I took half a point for lack of friendliness. There were no smiles at the table yet they stood around the bar laughing and talking with one another. If they brought that warmth to the table, they would have knocked it out of the park. We will definitely be back -- I saw an all-you-can-eat taco deal during live EPL games so I'll definitely be mixing my two favorite things.... taco and football. :)

Was looking for a Mexican place which served alcohol with good variety of food and decor. Heard a lot about Loca at Four Seasons Galleria.
We ordered, Margarita Pitcher (traditional) as recommended by the captain, though its available in other flavors too. The bar didnt leave any stone unturned to impress us with the pitcher which was a perfect blend. Its also economical if one wants drink margarita with food.
Being Vegetarian, we place the following order:
1. Jalapenos Locas - 2.5/5
2. Queso Fundido Manchego - 4/5
3. Chimichanga Vegetarianas - 5/5
The sauce had a hint of mint flavor with tomato sauce and the filling in the chimichanga was perfect.
By the way Wednesday night should be the place to visit especially for ladies as margaritas is free.
I would recommend this place though it cannot be visited very often and Abu Dhabi needed a place like this.!
Last but not least...Albert our captain was very comforting and gave good recommendations. Order taking and serving was perfectly timed. Keep It up!

Went here for last Friday's brunch. The ambience of this place is live and fun. The service is amazing as well. They look out to your needs every now and then. Its 270 DHS for food and drinks and 155 without alcohol, which both ways I felt is a good deal.
The starters are in plenty and they give u fresh guacamole with tortilla chips which will keep you going all throughout. You can make your own tacos with chicken, beef or shrimp fillings with of course the other sides. Apart from that you also get nachos and quesadillas all part of appetizers alone. And now if you thought that was enough, your still left to go through the mains and I chose to have the beef ribs. It was cooked well and tasted good as well but I must admit it wasn't the best I've had. The meat was too fatty as well making me put away a lot of it on the side. Although the good thing is, if your full with all ur appetizers, you can pack up ur left overs which I did cz I don lik wasting food 🙂 You also get a round of desserts and 3 of us shared the the cake with chocolate ice cream which was alright in terms of flavour. Could get better 🙂
On the whole I had a good time here and I'll definitely be back to try more of their Tex Mex dishes 😊 and definitely recommendable 👍

The food was great. Hands down the best guac I've had in AD. They had a variety of food to choose from. Most were (unlimited) except for the main course. Everyone in our table ordered different dishes and they all liked what they got. The only thing id change was the selection of music played during the brunch (it was an acoustic live performance) . I think a more lively selection of songs would hype up the atmosphere. 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 other than that- my birthday brunch was perfect. 😊

Mexican restaurant with nice food. Although I was missing the Mexican ambience, the taste had compensated very much.
The drinks were also good. Although this place is hidden in the backside of the Galleria Mall, it is in the centre next to Nusret and within the 4S Hotel. Try it!

This was the first Loca I visited ever..and boy am I glad I did! Located tucked away in the Four Seasons hotel at Al Maryah, this is a place for good food and great vibes. For drinks , I'd recommend trying their special margaritas and you can even create your own. We had the chicken enchilada and the chicken sweet corn tamales along with the original guacamole and nachos and I loved both of them...hats off to the chef! We ended up with the patron chocolate cake ...which was absolutely mouth-watering and divine! The ambience was great and the crowd fantastic. Love! Love! Love!

"Loca" enough for Margarita and Mexican food, hence I made a visit to this place which is tucked underneath Four Seasons Hotel and Galleria Mall.
"Are you loca?"--the tagline made famous by this Mexican chain will most likely convince you that you are indeed crazy for wanting to come back as often as you could.
My first visit was on a quiet weekday night to grab some bar bites and a couple of drinks. The second visit being on a ladies night with unlimited margaritas and a 20% discount on food. The third will most definitely be a brunch which I have yet to figure out when.
The place exudes a somewhat underground warehouse feel with modern urban-industrial decor urban-industrial decor which includes exposed ceiling, brickworks, steel pipes and barrels on display. The place is set up with different seating options for table dining, drinking at the bar, watching sports or simply sitting down to socialize with friends.
Whilst the food is amazing here, their fresh fruit margaritas are equally mesmerizing. One could easily say I need a drink! But with Abu Dhabi's heat, yes I need a frozen margarita.
A favourite amongst patrons is their guacamole "show" which is prepared right in front of your eyes. On 2 occasions, I can't still help but watch them prepared it. Your choice of classic or spicy, chunky or creamy--all of which tastes great. The tortilla chips are a hit and miss as some would taste crispy fresh whilst some taste stale. Probably this is when new and old chips are mixed and served together. The appetizer platter of quesadillas and fajitas is packed with chicken, chili & chipotle flavours.
The Carne Asada Chiminganga is a fried burrito stuffed with grilled beef tenderloin in chipotle adobo ranchero sauce. Theirs is by far the tastiest melt in your mouth beef filling I've had in a burrito. This comes with a serving of spanish rice, guacamole and a sour cream on the side.
Churros is missing on the dessert menu so I opted for the Bananas Borracha because i've seen a Tequila mixed in caramelized bananas served with vanilla ice cream. This one didn't appeal much to me as it's seriously too sweet for my liking.
Overall experience had been an enjoyable one with a female dj on the background playing all time commercial RnB hits. Staff are all friendly, ready to assist and serve and you can see that even the Manager is on the floor helping out his team.
Kudos to their bar supervisor Mark, who despite being very busy, patiently answered our queries on food and drinks. He's been the busiest one endlessly preparing Margaritas that night that I think he should be call Mark-garita :)

My favorite place in Abu Dhabi!!
I love that it's super casual but also tastefully designed and proper, and in a good location on Maryah Island right by the water.
Ladies make sure to go on a Wednesday night -- we get unlimited free drinks and they're super strong and tasty! Go for the Lime Margarita pitcher with ice (not frozen). And make sure to book in advance as it gets packed on Wednesday nights especially.
As for the food, it's the best South American food in town! Perfect sharing food for a group both dine-in and delivery (through deliveroo, the food arrives very fresh if you live close don't worry!). I've tried most of their menu, and here are the dishes I recommend:
Spinach Dip
Fresh Guacamole (easily the best in town)
Salmon Ceviche
Lamb Flautas
Beef Quesadillas
All the above comes with fresh home made nachos and salsa, yumm
The ambiance is great, it's the only place you feel is alive in Abu Dhabi, with the right volume of music, right level of lighting and always buzzing with people. Service is good too but sometimes they get overwhelmed during the crowded time so you have to remind them of something! The food arrives very quickly though in my experience..

The Beef Tenderloin Fajita is a brilliant main to compliment the ladies night drinks at Loca. Soft and decadent strips of beef medium done wrapped in tortilla with a little bit of guacamole, sour cream, baked beans and flavored rice.

The Chimichanga was a favorite for me that night. Deep fried Burrito crispy on the outside and stuffed with tender beef steak filling on the inside. The meat was so succulent and soft it melted in my mouth. The crispy burrito added a lovely crunch to the dish. The Chimichanga is served with guacamole and cream cheese.
It's something worth trying!!
Portion served is enough for 4 persons, if you plan on sharing this main as a side with drinks otherwise it's good for 2 persons.

Yes, this time me and my hubby are out to explore “LOCA” bar restaurant in Four seasons hotel, accessible through Galleria mall Abudhabi. awwww… this is a family bar, which serves alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The great thing here is that, it is accessible with young ones, which means it’s a fun place to be with family and friends.

It was so full on a Thursday night that we had to wait for a proper table. The service was good , the food came relatively quick and hot. It was strange to me how full it was but of course makes it more fun to be part of your experience.

Long before Loca opened in Abu Dhabi, Hubs and I were over the moon that authentic Mexican (or as close as our SoCal taste buds could discern) was available in Dubai (long time residents will recall the location at Dubai Marine). Thus, when an invitation came through to check out one of the sister properties (Loca is also present at Souq Al Bahar), I was more than happy to say yes.
Visited Loca this evening with a bunch of my friends. We each ordered different dishes and each one of us loved their food! Their service, atmosphere and portions were wonderful. Their prices aren't low but they aren't too expensive either. Each of us paid in the range of 50 to 140 dirhams including drinks! I would definitely go back 🙌
First encounter was in taste of abu dhabi 2016. We were able to try their mushroom cheese quesadilla and we very much like it. Been waiting for their abu dhabi branch to open. Now it is open in galleria mall.
Ordered the mushroom and cheese quesadilla, some cheese dip with bread, fish and chicken burito, and their specialty steak. All the food we tried were good except for the steak. They only offer alcoholic drink but they have water and the staff told some of their mojitos can be alcohol free. Price is on the higher side.

I'm a big fan of mexican food, so it was just a matter of time till I would visit Loca. The ambience of the place is elegant, various seating arrangements plus tables with their own tab. Very nice.
The food: I had the business lunch and started with the quesadilla, which came with Guacamole and sour cream. They were certainly nice with a slowly building spiciness, but not extraordinary. The Guacamole was very good.
The second dish, the fish taco, were good however, really really good. full fillets of marinated fish on top of a light touch of chipotle mayonnaise. A very nice experience indeed.
Finally the dessert, the three milk cake. I am not a desert guy, but this cake was light, and not overly sweet. An excellent closure of the meal.
Overall I was very impressed with Loca. Outside the business lunch the prices are a bit on the higher side, but that's justified by the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

Mexican food takes me on a of journey senses.
Mexican food has all my favorite vegetables in one dish. The variety of spices and sauces burst in your mouth making your palate intrigued and satisfied.
Let me begin by saying I was very disappointed with the service. It's a turn of when you are excited to give them your order and half way from doing so the waitress decides that she forgot to take the order of the other table and leaves us hanging, what? This is highly unprofessional, but another waiter compensated for this irritating behavior.
The food, however, was extraordinary. We enjoyed every single bite. The burritos were filled with variety of flavors leaving you excited.
The quesadilla were perfectly done - not too cheesy. The chicken tostada salad was my favorite because the sauce was exotic and they used fresh ingredients (what a salad should taste be). The chicken was marinated perfectly.
For deserts we had banana empanadas. They managed to not make it too sweet with the cream and sugar. Perfect desert to end our meal!
The food was fresh and flavorful but the service does need some improvements.

Loca is an award-winning Mexican restaurant and bar with branches across the UAE. It’s a new concept in Mexican dining and drinking with the menu boasting some authentic dishes from all over that part in Latin America. I have to admit I’m really a fan of Mexican food and I did set high expectations for this one. I’ve learned that they recently launched their own brunch so I thought of trying it since lately I have been going to similar restaurants offering the same cuisines.
I really like this place! Whether it's for dinner or late night drinks, the vibe is great. My favorite is the fish tacos. The queso is also amazing!! I also love that they have my favorite drink, Savannah Dry which is so hard to find in Abu Dhabi!
Loca is by far one of best fun friday brunches in abu dhabi. The food is great...the music is great..the service is great...the vibe is great...what else do you want on lazy friday afternoon? We chose the set menu and we were stuffed...not to forget to mentio the amazing sangria and margaritas. Only wished that the waitress dint forget to get our dessert. But the breakfast was just fab..the guacamole was fresh, the tacos were fresh, the tostada was crispy..i could go on and on. A definete try with friends!!

Went for ladies night with a couple of friends and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The free-flowing margaritas were delicious and definitely not weak. We were surprised they offered all of the flavored margaritas in this, as well. We tried the tenderloin nachos and the cangrejo guacamole (minus the orange) and both were amazing. We also had the banana empanada and it was wonderful. We'll definitely be back to try more!
Overall good experience except a mouse running around the restaurant.

Absolutely love this place! Their food is amazing, mood is very chill and casual, their waiters are super friendly and the service is great! Its my favourite spot!
Great location, literally 5 minutes away from home 🎉 the place is fresh and trendy, very spacious! We ordered Guacamole - the regular one - and it was delicious I think I had more than my share 🙈 then we ordered Fajitas and do you know how usually the portion is in other places, it is too much and I always feel guilty that I couldn't finish my plate. But in this place the quantity was perfect! and the chicken/beef strips are cut and cooked to perfect size and perfect juicy taste.
One only point is that the music was a bit louder indoors to my taste and we couldn't hear each other at all. That's my opinion though others might like it 👍
