best time ever at this time of the year food and drinks at the terrace
I love their Breakfasts. Brisket benny and Gram toast are my all time fav. Their cappuccino is one of the best
Most amazing sandwich I ever tasted in UAE ... it’s so yummy . Full marks for the chef who create it. Really in love with this sandwich 🥪
Tried their motlen lava with ice cream ...the molten lava is the best one that i have ever tried ...and the crust and the texture of this one was so nice and the molten lava coming out of it was so perfect and the flavor was too good ...best molten lava so far...
Some of my friends told me that their breakfast menu is too good.U should give a try so I decided to give a try and order Brisket Benny and Gram Toast and I Found both items it was not too good but not bad too. But their food presentation is too good.
Pictures are attached for your reference.
We tried Brisket Benny, Breakfast Burrito, Hot Chocolate and Flowering Tea for a breakfast. We really like the food and they were tasty. The tea was good and the way they served it was breathtaking. We will surely visit there again.
Been here couple of times, all the time returning back was with a happy and satisfied mood.
Last time we went a group of 8.
All the dishes we selected was tasty and good.
Would have given a perfect five if the waiters were a bit more professional or at least knew what Zomato Gold is. The Fondant Au Chocolate and Blueberry Tea was Just Perfect!
Probably my third but in different branch-Yas mall and WTC.
With regards to my recent one, my impressions are: Location is accessible
The place has excellent Victorian ambience.
Staff are kind and ver accommodating
Foods are varied and delicious but a bit costly (though worth it)
Shakespeare is an excellent restaurant. Portions are huge and prices are fair. The design of the restaurant is very fancy. I ordered : burrata salad and a red velvet cake.
Recommend it.
I liked the food and service here. You can visit there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have a good menu. Ambience too is fine. Problem is only with the parking.
First time visit and we left absolutely satisfied. Great food and great ambience coupled with excellent service and friendly staff.
We had ordered the beef short ribs and cordon Bleu chicken. Both were lip smacking dishes. The portion was generous too. Will definitely visit again...
Hmm it’s so nice and cosy in here .. I really like the feel of this place and the staff was so courteous and welcoming.. the English breakfast was spot on especially the single fried egssssss...awesome... loved it .. good to go ..!!!
I highly recommend this place for a private dinner. We have booked for a maximum 20 pax and they have helped us to arrange a 3 course meal topped up with Festive Turkey. Everything is tasty and service is superb.
Main Course are good for sharing ( 2pax).
Chocolate cake is rich and have a hint of dark chocolate.
We barely finish the food so we decided to take away some.
Parking is also good, we manage to park outside the shop.
Great ambience, delicious food and good portion size. Can’t ask for more! Service is great and polite staff. It’s near my home and I love to come here but only occasionally since it’s a little pricey for my budget.
Had a wonderful dinner for birthday ! Food was awesome ! Had ordered baby chicken, smoked salmon sandwich , grilled chicken sandwich and traditional fish and chips! Each of them was amazingly delicious! I would specially thank the polite and friendly staff too. Would really recommend this place ! Quiet and extremely cozy and beautiful! Even my 6 year old says he loved the place and food !
I have finally tried this place by recommendation of a friend. Wow!! I love their salads! To be more specific, their SUPERFOOD salad and their BURRATA salad is amazing!!!! I ordered the superfood salad with blackened chicken and wow!!! It’s very filling in such a healthy way. I love it. It will be my go to place for salads for sure. I’m still in awe. I pass this place at least 4 times a week and have never tried it until recently. I’m so happy I did.
Enjoy!!!
It was my third time at Shakespeare and co and it was amazing!! I ordered Salmon Filet and it was sooo delicious!! I really loved the flavors explosion (with some sweetness from the pineapple). My bf ordered a beef and he said it was also amazingly tasty! The service was good and ambience is very charming. I just didn’t give the maximum rate because the other time I ordered a vegetarian dish (the Indian main course, I think it was a paneer curry) and I didn’t like it. It was sour and not special at all. I think they should remove it from the menu because it’s not on the level of this restaurant. The first visit I had breakfast and it was pretty good! Their juices are great, overall it’s pricey, but there is quality and freshness, so it balances. Their sweets looks superb but I didn’t try any yet.
last Friday it was my son birthday it was really amazing day .
every thing was more than perfect the service supervised by Mr.Raoof were very helpful and frindaly
the birthday cake was super moisty tasty and fresh
aslo sandwichs and canbbies were very fresh eventually the whole place perfect for #Birthday party.
I'm a regular customer who enjoys the friendly, efficient and professional service. My favourite meals include the lamb shank, pasta with pesto sauce, prawns and pine nuts, pizzas are flavourfull and just the right thickness, beef short ribs are succulent and hearty and my favourite dessert...banana foster. I take all my guests there for a treat.
Shakespear and Co. is best place should you like to live in classical English era and like the delicacies of that time. Though food they need an extensive upgrade in their recipes and training fir chefs, its the atmosphere that makes you feel good. A good place to hang out, efficient staff, great ambiance but food is just average. Cappuccino served to us was too much frothy and almost cold. I finished mine in two sips.
My friends and I love this location for breakfast! I absolutely love the eggs Benedict there and the cappuccino. The cakes are also quite delicious! However, waiters aren't the most attentive and you have to keep waving and calling them to get a menu or to order or to pay. I hope this is improved because this is the spot where we have lovely memories as friends and enjoy the quality of the breakfast. Hoping service will also match! All the best.
A very lovely branch of Shakespeare an co,and I've tried the burger yesterday as well as the slow cooked lamb ,both were just amazing,I gave it a 5 because in all Shakespeare's branches everything is so perfect, the food, service, and the atmosphere.
this is my place for watching football matches while enjoying morrocan tea and some macaroons ❤ the place has really nice decorations which create a very comfortable environment.... they need to take care of some of the chairs as they are not. comfortable
Good service. Nice food
I suggest to download the Shakespeare and co app
Yammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmi
Yammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmi
Breakfast was wonderful outdoors, The Arabic breakfast was my go to and they serve a crispy saj that is so savoury and delicious. The portions were good, service was great. Will definitely revisit very soon.
It is more the atmosphere than the food that brings us back here. By now we have memorized their menu, and no meal is truly unforgettable at Shakespeare. When the weather is pleasant, I enjoy sitting at their terrace for breakfast or for some cake. Their Mediterranean saj is tasty, and they serve decent egg dishes. Their lemon tart is Ok, but their millefeuille is one of the best in Abu Dhabi.
*I've actually lost count of how many times I've been to this place** My first time visiting Shakespeare was last year when i had the English breakfast and since then I've been an addict to most of the meals on the menu :P , the interior and atmosphere has a very pretty and chilled vibe to it, the staff are always welcoming and the manager always has a smile on his face and is always willing to provide the best. I would recommend the Full English breakfast, Lasgane, Buckwheat pasta, fresh juices (Orange and watermelon) and the Oreo milkshake. Oh and their grilled chicken sandwich taste good too! See you soon :)
When I first visited Shakespeare I was dazzled by its theme of decoration it really reflects shabby Chic English style which I absolutely admire. I loved their salad that gad pumpkin in it, their pasta, their lamb cut plate had blood in it which I didn't like. Their deserts are nice i loved the apple tart and the puff with custard cream, and they have a very nice packaging for take away.
Visited this place for an early breakfast and as soon as we stepped in , it was beautiful. Absolutely love love the interiors! So classy and chique. However, disappointment was that no staff came to help us or take us to our seats....we had to find a table by ourselves and seat our selves.
We ordered the cold chocolate capuccuino, roasted almond crepe and chicken crepe.
Cappucino was good.....perfect blend of chocolate and coffee.
The roasted almond crepe was just heavenly. Perfect amount of sweet and the flavor was miraculous.
The chicken crepe was made in a white bechamel sauce and was as delicious as well, but I wouldnt have it again for breakfast as it is a bit too heavy on the tummy.
Overall a great experience. What I loved the most was the interiors. Though it may be a but pricey, its not a bad place to go once in a while.
My mother and I where hungry and in the mood of grabbing something from shakspeare ... what I realy would recommend is the fettuccine alfredo amazing taste !! :)
New visit: yesterday evrythibg was great .. cobb salad was amazing
Fettuccine alfredo with chicken was great
Cordon bleu was extra well done as we ordered
Scaloppini al lemone was also fine ..
Fraisier was yummy and les fraise etait frêche
Hazelnut cake was too sweet couldnt eat more
Apple tarte was also too sweet but the crust was nice ..
I also took another fraisier and one vanilla cake to go
Overall shakespear deserves4/5 :)
Good Job guys keep it up
They finally got me a sauce with my steak .. it was mushroom sauce and it wasnt bad but i still think u can give something more delicious ..
Cobb salad was nice but the beans were really really really hard to eat , i think u sould make them well boiled ..
Spring rolls are tasty..
Spaghetti is superb ..
Ambiance is so nice .. if u are couple or a group of friends then this place is perfect for u ..
This particular outlet used to be our lunch place 3 days at least in a week. Used to love their herbed butter, which haven't seen them serve for some time now. Food has been okayish with Victorian ambiance.
We stopped by Shakespeare for a late lunch after an event. The place was packed so service was a bit slow. Although it was already past lunch time (or breakfast at that), we decided to order their all-day breakfast because it tastes so good with their complimentary bread. My experiences in Shakespeare Dubai was always pleasant. But in this branch, they served small portions of burnt bacon which might have added a little dent to my consistent praise to Shakespeare. But other than that, food was still good and I would still recommend others to try their breakfast sets.
Always loved Shakespeare for their calm & homely vibe. Their menu's offer a wide range of food's. My go to is their breakfast, huge portions and always delicious. However, my last visit to Shakespear which was one week ago as very disapointing. The first time we got our breakfast plates the bacons were extremely burnt. We called the waiter and she directly apologized and brought us another plate of bacon which were dripping oil. Yuck! And the other thing that shakespeare must be concered about is the flies that keep you company while having breakfast. lol
Shakespeare has a pleasant and homely vibe. Their menu satisfies various taste buds and age ranges.
We mainly enjoy their breakfasts, and simply can't resist their cakes! Their new hummous with a twist (I ordered the one with sundried tomatoes) is really interesting. One of my favorite salads here (depending on the Chef that day) is the Blue cheese and pear salad.
I come here every now and then as I live close by.
Loved the lebanese breakfast. Huge portions seriously and excellent value. So is the american, the bacon was crispy and not oily and the orange juice was really good.
جربت اتريق في شكسبير طلبنا انجلش بريكفاست واومليت بالمشروم والجبن وخبز صاج بالحلوم اكله صراحه حلو وزين بس ماجربت الغدا او العشا ويمكن افكر
A nice place, decor is great, you feel like you are at home, regarding food depends on what you order, usually it's good, for coffee it's great , dessert I tried the strawberry one (photo), it's ok not great
Regarding price I think it's a bit over priced
We decided late to go out to have the dinner it was around 10 Pm; We walked to Shakespeare and co, the place was busy and active, they advised that the last order is around 11.30 and they will close at 12.15 ; they seated us on a nice table and within 5 minutes we were ready. We ordered chicken satay, cobb salad and baby chicken as a main course. They served the bread basket with their traditional butter. The appetizers were brought to us within 10 minutes. The salad portion was very good and has this unique taste juicy and will give you different taste with each bite; the Satay was not bad but didn't leave the tasty impression. However, they served on side a lovely fried cheese which we liked it and enjoined but I can suggest to serve it grilled it will be nicer. The main course reached after 30 minutes during the enjoyment with the starters. The baby chicken was a very good choice; light and cooked with passion. And the grilled vegetables were nice addition, it was our first time to try all these dishes and we liked them. We had cups of coffee and they served them with their complimentary mini assorted cakes. Overall all we enjoyed that meal and highly recommend trying this again especially that they have a nice outside area for winter. The location is in Muror Road. Enjoy. Rating for the reception and staff dealing 8/10, the food and beverage 8/10, the price 7/10
Nice quick service, love all their food, athough their portions, especially the soup has been decreasing so much over the past months. The bowl used to be full, now it's only half-way filled. Staff is nice and everyone will find something on the menu.
Good food, good attention, large size therefore come hungry, average price, unfortunately air condition is not working properly, sweets and desserts are one of the best
English breakfast , victorian interiors and great service is all you can ask for after a really long Friday night , eggs served with turkey sausage , bacon , preserves , beans ,breads , fresh juice followed by coffee ! Great start to the day , not complaining but they should have more options in fresh juices and assortment of breads / bakeries. For sure we will be back for more
Very very very good place I recommend this place to every one to visit and choose amazing order from its beautiful and delicious menus
It was a very good experience
Well the breakfast is the best . The decore is nice the staff was smily n active.
We had american breakfast n blue berry pan cakes the breakfadt was yummyyy the eggs hash and the mashrooms were awsome only one critic is that the pan cake was a bit dry for my liking.
Coffee was also very nice as well as the orange juice which was very fresh.
One of the biggest branches in Abudhabi. Needless to say the interior is French and gorgeous. Takes you back to Shakespearean times (duh!) Absolutely adorable kids playing area too. In the food the wraps are always a success and so are the crepes. One thing I always order there are the fries! Never had better fries anywhere else.
I'm surprised how good the breakfast was, tried eggs florentine, foul mdammes, saj zaatar and labaneh, saj turkey and cheese and orange juice. All were very good! Service is wonderful. The only thing I didn't like about this branch was the noise of the road and construction. Other than that it was superb for breakfast.
Not a huge fan of the Shakespeare outlets, I do find then pricey for the food they serve. Their ambience is too good, .makes you feel like your living in the 14th century. Their carbonara pasta is what I like the most.
I have visited Shakespeare & Co in Yas mall in the past week as i found the location and atmosphere comfortable (although the tables can feel a little clumpy)
As for me and my sister love crepes we have decided to try them two ways one savoury and one sweet along with green tea.
Our first order was : Swiss cheese and turkey crepe ; the dough of the crepe was made to perfection, light and not heavy at all and on a perfect note when it came to the texture! The filling was as simple as it was mentioned swiss cheese and turkey and as simple as it may sound it tasted delightful really went well with the green tea.
The second order was : Nutella crepe with strawberry and vanilla ice cream; as for the dough as mentioned earlier its basically the same dough used for the savoury wish was delightful and pleasant. The filling was REAL nutella and not just some cheap chocolate sauce with slices of strawberry , the crepe it self was deliciously sweet and the powdered sugar and caramel sauce added a sweet note to the crepe itself i really did enjoy the crepe so much. What i really didn't enjoy was that TINY scoop of ice cream! The ice cream has so many flaws and made it so hard to even bother to eat it and it was just a waste of addition . The ice cream scoop was too small to the portion of the crepe thats was flaw number 1. And flaw number 2 was that ice cream was definitely a month old! It was crystallised and all you can taste was a bunch of ice crystals.
As a green tea fanatic that green tea was a decent brand and not just a cheap one , i enjoyed my tea and those mini desserts that come with them are just mini heavens!
This is One of my regular spots. Food and coffee is delicious and reasonably priced.
Staff are friendly The menu is wide.
They have recently joined Beam system where you can pay by your smartphone and get some rewards.
Food and breakfast here has always been good. The ambience is victorian and calm. There desserts are to die for especially the pistachio cake .
I visited this place on a Thursday night at about midnight, I wanted to grab a bite so I ordered the Baby Chicken, which was super yummy and beautiful to look at. We had a nice meal. The service was good but when I had asked them what time they closed they said 12:30 but it's ok we can stay no problem. This was at about 5 minutes to 1:00 am. I thought that was a nice gesture by the staff.
I would definitely go there again to try the food.
I am not a big fan of the food, especially the breakfast. but we do love going here for the chocolate fondant and morocon tea. The pastries are nice, especially the strawberry cheesecake and lemon tart. Although I think they come from the same bakery as many other cafes as I see the same thing in la brioche
Great English style interiors and amazing food.Variety of food, especially chicken dishes are amazing. Service is great and I enjoyed sitting outside rather than sitting inside.
We liked the vreakfast very much because we could choose from a variety of dishes. I had the country breakfast which was perfect for a brunch time meal, warm hearty and big portion.
Amazing place during winter. Excellent indoor ambience.
Nice ambiance, and great food! Highly recommended for all you foodies out there! Try the Shakespeare classic chicken, its my favorite :)
This restaurant is just next to my workplace and I visit it very often with my colleagues.
Whenver it rains or drizzles in Abudhabi, we make sure we have the molten lava chocolate cake at this place.
Shakespeare is known for its ambience.
The portion of food served is quite good.
The food presentation is also good.
The pastas are must-try
Every item on this menu is just exquisite .. I think I tried it all.. It's all fresh and yummy .. Fish burger is my addiction .. And the sujouk Saj ..
Ambience is great but it can get a bit stuffy indoors but still the place is amazing the service is good ( not over the top) but decent people..
Down part they don't do delivery.. Which I reckon they should spread that lovely taste of theirs ..
Shakespeare is right next to my friends place and so last week while hanging out at her apartment we all decided to walk down to Shakespeare’s. I have had food from their other outlets many times but this was my first visit here. The décor is pretty much the same in all outlets – very English vintage. I for one like it, though one of my friend (whose first time it was @ any Shakespeare restaurant) found it too garish. It was on a weekday evening and it looked too crowded from outside. Reason being everyone wanted to enjoy the great weather and were seated outside (it was practically deserted inside). We lucked out and got ourselves seated outside just in time. The only issue in the outdoor seating is that the tables are too close to each other and you cant help but hear other peoples conversations! We 3 ladies found ourselves listening more (to others) and talking less…
As for food, we ordered the crispy calamari for our starters and for the main course had one Hammour salad, one smoked salmon salad (we opted for the same veggies as the Hammour salad instead of the fruit option which comes originally with the smoked salmon) and I went for the Chicken with Tiger Prawns.
The crispy calamari was a disaster. This is the first restaurant I have had a bad crispy calamari and it was surprising since they are pretty standard (read= easy!) to make. The calamari was clearly cooked too much since it felt like rubber and was too oily at the same time. We didn't finish the dish!
The main courses were a different story altogether. My chicken and tiger prawn had grilled chicken breast cooked to perfection. In fact perfection would be an understatement. It was out of this world. Juicy, tender, and oh the creamy lemon basil sauce – just great! I couldn't have more of the chicken with that sauce. The tiger prawns were fine and well cooked. It was accompanied with some veggies and instead of potatoes I had opted for mushrooms. A great dish in all that I highly recommend.
The salad quantity here is humongous! The hammour and salmon both were cooked perfectly and were a treat atop the salad greens, olives and feta cheese. It was real filling and yummy.
We didn't have any room for dessert which was sad because we were drooling over their dessert counter from the moment we entered – but then there is always a tomorrow for those desserts.
Ambiance: 4/5
Food Quality: 3.5/5 (only due to the crispy calamari!)
Food Quantity: 4/5
Food presentation: 3.5/5
Service: 3/5
VFM: 3.5/5
Overall Experience: 4/5
A convenient location with a hassle for parking regardless of when you go, weekday or weekend. Be prepared for a trek from your car, or if you are lucky and find parking close by, be prepared to wait for the guy who just decided to block you and run into the Starbucks to come out at a leisurely pace before you can back up and drive off.
Once you get there, the place has a very friendly vibe, with outdoor seating that is shaded specially if you go in the early afternoon hours. The menu is extensive, and most items are well developed both for taste and presentation. The breakfast's are large and hearty, although the omelette's had a very distinct "conveyor belt manufacturing" look to them , because of the pan that is used making them come out looking like half a pancake.
All in all, an excellent place to go with the family for a bite to eat, with the many items on offer, everyone will be able to find something they like.
Great food, the chef needs a special mention here. Tried the Classic Shakespeare, grilled chicken ( perfectly grilled) in white sauce and mushrooms. Rocket leaves with bbq sauce and mashed potato. Scope to ante up the mashed potato probably make it lil more creamy or buttery with garlic flavor. Portion size is good enough for a healthy eater, filling really. Also had the Fettuccine Alfredo, and added grilled veggies. The original comes with Broccoli and mushrooms only. Good Alfredo, just subtle enough to linger on the taste buds. Also tried the Saj - Mediterranean, completely took me by surprise. The rocket leaves combi with the saj was a perfect combination. All in all taste is a 4 out of 5. Service lots to be improved on. Probably coz it was the weekend and they are pretty full with local customers galore.
Great food the onion soup and sandwiches are a favourite. The place also sells ice cream and lovely cakes. The decor is tacky but you can find comfy seats suitable for dining amongst the ones that have been chosen for style (or lack of) over usability. Avoid the outside seating if you don't like the strong stench of smoke as you eat.
Yummy food. Friendly staff. Excellent interiors. Must try place.
