If you are looking for authentic Indonesian cuisine in UAE, this would be the place. I had Gule Kambing which is lamb curry, cap cay ayam which is stir fried veggies with chicken and chicken fry. All items were so good that me and my family returned back 3 times already. Definitely recommended
A Lovey place for eating. Affordable prices. And shows the authenticity of Indonesian foods. Friendly people and good servings. Yup love the Nasi goreng , Mie bakso, Martabak, Chicken soup, Oxtail soup and many more. What a lovely foods.
I tried to stop by here every time I visit Abu Dhabi. The choices of menus are quite extensive, and the place is always nuzzling. Happy to see lots of non Indonesian faces eat there. Food is affordable and delicious. Reminds me of home.
We went today to try out this little hidden gem in tourist club area, being lived in Malaysia for few years in early 2000’s I really really missed Malaysian/Indonesian food since I moved to the Middle East. We ordered Nasi Goreng Gila Ayam and Chicken Satay! Yum! Huge portions as well. Will definitely be back soon to try out the other iteams.

Love this Indonesian restaurant. I’ve tried sup kambing goreng and it was really good. YUMMY! It just full-filled my craving of home-cooked.
Finest and authentic Indonesian restaurant in town. I was told by my Indonesian co workers to try it, so I did and I enjoyed every last of it. Must try!
Walaupun lama dirantau tetep kangen makanan indo, if u go to abu dhabi u must try food in this place, nyummi food n nice for all the staf...

My Malaysian friend introduced this restaurant and recommended bontet goreng or fried oxtail as its his favorite. From there it became my favorite to order from that restaurant as well. lol
It comes with a soup and a spicy paste with lemon. Sangat Lazat! Terima Kasih 😃
Bandung is the signature restaurant of Indonesian people in Abu Dhabi. The staff is like a family and the dishes are well cooked, just how they should be. Very fast service, only the location is the negative spot of the restaurant.
Big portion with reasonable price, taste was good but not really tasty. This area not easy to get parking. The dining area make me like in a food court.
Good food everytime. A must try is beef rendang and chicken satay with the creamy peanut sauce. Service was quick compared to last time i visited.
Great Indonesian food always tasty and friendly helpful staff love the rendang green sambal and telur also enjoy the nasi goreng gambing gilla also nice to sit outside at night too
This place is a hidden gem. We walked just to find this restaurant. It's one of the authentic indonesian restaurant here in abu dhabi and will give you a lot of varieties of mi goreng and nasi goreng ( friend noodles and fried rice). We ordered Nasi goreng bandung (fried rice with small anchovies), nasi goreng udang (fried rice with shrimp), sate ayam (chicken bbq with peanut sauce), and soup bakso (meatball soup). The taste is superb for asian like me. Price is very reasonable and staffs are great. It's a must try!

I had a Nasi Goreng with Chicken and some minor items. The Nasi Goreng was good, spicy but not too spicy. The other items were nice as well. Prices are inexpensive.
This is by no means a fancy place, but in my opinion that's not always necessary. I would return.
Ordered chicken soup and chicken skewer. Chicken meat from the soup was like chewing gum, meat of the chicken skewer was 80% burnt and the peanut-soy sauce had no taste. Quite disappointing experience :-(
Update 09.02.2017: ordered this time the Soto Madura (chicken soup with noddles and eggs) and the Chicken Akram. Both dishes were far better than the ones I have ordered before. The sauce from the Chicken Akram is delicious indeed. Staff grumpy as usual 😁
Let's start with my favourite part, ambiance, which is terribly pathetic. U can see flies around and ain't that clean in any terms. U pretty much feel like u r seated in an Asian average restaurant. However what caught my attention was food. I ordered an extra spicy and a regular nasi goreng both in ayam or chicken just to taste the difference. Honestly it was just the same. I think the word spicy is a joke in uae. But still it was tasty. So I ain't gonna complain more about it.
I asked them for ayam Balado (fried chicken in redchilli sauce) and randang beef (beef cooked in hotsauce and coconut milk). To my level of spicyness none was. However food was yummy and delicious. Cooked well, Tender meat.
Staff hardly smile. So please don't be offended it's just the way they are. ;)
Quite fascinated by Indonesian food these days, so a visit to this place too. Having already tasted Indonesian flavors from Sari Rasa, this review might be a comparison. This one is far better in rating compared to Sari Rasa for ambience, but not food. Food was good, but not as great as Sari Rasa's.
Nonetheless, a decent hangout with a cozy sit out.
The food at Bandung is generally very tasty! There are many options and mostly also vegetarian. My absolutely favorite dish is Soto Madura, which is noddles in a soup, very yummy! :) I definitely recommend it!
I came, I sat, I ate some chicken 🍗💯
This morning I woke up craving chicken (as we all do). Now if any of you have had Ayam bakar (grilled chicken Indo style) you would understand its hands down one of the most delicious flavors you will ever put in your mouth. Bandung Restaurant covered this and all the classics Bakso, Lonton, Cah Kangkung, Tempe Goreng, Rendang, Es tea manis and all time favourite desert Es campur 🍧 (Google for reference).
If you are feeling boring please feel free to order Nasi Goreng (friend rice) and Mie Goreng (Fried noodles).
This place is basic but chill, staff are a little slower on the table service but it wouldn't be a Indo restaurant without that, trust me. Food is on point and well priced.
Must order the Ayam Bakar with some Lonton and request a little peanut sauce. If you have a sweet tooth get the Es campur, you won't be disappointed.
Sorry for the lack of photos I had to much fun actually eating.

This place is another option if you want to try Indonesian slow food. My favorite menu is nasi uduk and buntut goreng.. Hmmmm yummy! If you plan to visit this place, i recommend you to come before 8PM because this place is in residential area, so after 9PM, the parking will become resident parking. Be careful!
I wouldn't call Bandung a complete authentic Indonesian cuisine experience but it comes very close. The Nasi goreng is not up to the standards I'm used to but the sambhals are just perfect. Satay and sea food dishes are worth going again for.
One of the hidden gems of Abu Dhabi for sure. Authentic Indonesian food in a no-frills setting, clean and not noisy. They also have al fresco dining should you dare to bare the humidity during summer. The quality and consistency are very good and very good value for money. Only down side is that they do not do delivery...
