After a night where everything that could possibly go wrong, went wrong, from the delivery to the food to the taste, Mr. Bidesh (I hope I got the name right), called us up the next morning apologizing for the bad experience we had. His ability to own upto the shortcomings as and how they were was commendable enough but then he went a step ahead to complement us with the same order we had a bad experience with.
It showed how important customer satisfaction was to them and it is highly appreciated. The delivery was prompt and polite. Already a good start.
The food made justice to everything Mr. Bidesh said about making things right, delicious and perfected. Upto the standard that ruchi holds. Lollypops were crisp, flavourful and hot with a tender inside. Fresh. The barbecue chicken wings were poles apart from wat we had the previous night. Delightfully cooked with a variety of spices and barbecue sauce. One of the best items had. It was a real treat. It was a superb meal and has garnered respect for the way they dealt with all of this.
Dropped in to Ruchi today for their Onam Sadhya... and it was just the perfect lunch for the times we are in. Amazing food with 20 odd varieties on the leaf and their service is and has always been top notch!
I have seen this restaurant from zomato but never thought of ordering until today.
I was craving for some squid fry and I loved it!
I also ordered Malabar Pradani Kozhi, we thought it was dry but it was half chicken gravy.
Tbh It’s one of the best I had. I loved it.
The chicken was fried and then prepared un gravy also has an egg.

Came here for a late lunch a couple of weeks ago. Finding a parking is definitely a hassle. They have a family seating area upstairs. Coming to the food, we started off with a masala papad, a beef fry, a beef curry and ghee rice. Haven't tried too many south indian places around this area but I've gotta say this will definitely be one of the best in terms of quality and quantity. Each dish was one better than the other to be honest. The beef curry and ghee rice combination brought instant memories of kerala. The meat was cooked well and the masalas blended well too.
Overall, highly recommended if you're around this area.
Good food and ambience .. small in size but the staffs are really nice . We had a Iftar buffet from there . The experience was awesome. They served very well. Highly recommended.
One of my first choices for a restaurant whenever I'm in abudhabi. The restaurent that predominantly serves kerala cuisine is always consistent with food. The place is packed during lunch where people throng for the kerala meals and porotta. This time we had ordered thalassery biriyani both mutton & chicken and the dishes did not disappoint us.
The food of Kerala the food of India is what we Indians want where ever we go so I checked this place once as my friend recommended this place and I was amazed by the hospitality and service provided by the cafe I love the food here it was so fantastic.. Highly

After long time, I planned to visit a South Indian restaurant to have a South Indian Biryanis, me and my husband, we ordered Chicken and Beef Biryani, it was a huge portion, we were not able to finish it off, Service was superb, ambiance was excellent,
Been there for couple of times. Saturday’s lunch in traditional keralite banana leaf feast was awesome !! Neat and clean ambiance. Staffs are very friendly and cooperative. Welcoming and receiving orders with great respect to customers. Apart from parking difficulties, I would love to visit again and again.

One Saturday afternoon, I get woken up by my friends who announced that lunch that day would be at Ruchi restaurant. Now Ruchi was always a family favorite during my school days and we've held a couple of functions at their party hall. However, over the years, this little restaurant got lost in the swarm of joints in the city. So when I got this call, I jumped right out of bed!
On the table that day, we had malai tikka kebab, reshmi kebab, chicken lollipops, butter chicken, butter naan, chicken biriyani, mutton biriyani and kerala beef fry.
The kebabs were extremely juicy and bursting with flavor. The Reshmi kebab was my favorite as it had the perfect blend of spices and packed the right punch. The kebabs were accompanied by mint chutney and a salad that complimented the meaty flavors beautifully.
The chicken lollipop was perfectly crispy and juicy. In most places, the chicken lollipop is often ruined with excess batter but that was not the case at Ruchi. It had the perfect amount of batter that went really well with the tender meat. This dish also came with a side of mint chutney.
The butter chicken was extremely creamy and deeelish! The pieces of chicken in the curry were perfectly marinated and had absorbed all the spices. This went really well with the butter naan which was light and fluffy and came loaded with uttery buttery goodness!
The next round were the biriyanis. I had the mutton biriyani which was definitely one of the best in the city! The rice was packed with exotic spices and loaded with tender, juicy pieces of mutton. Each morsel of biriyani took you right back to your mother's kitchen on a Friday afternoon. I was completely stuffed after this dish, so I couldn't try the chicken biriyani, but I was told that it was just as amazing as its mutton counterpart.
The Kerala beef fry was another winner on the table! It is a dish consisting of tender pieces of beef slow roasted with aromatic spices, coconut pieces and curry leaves. It is a staple dish in the cuisine of my motherland and I must say that this dish hit all the right notes and then some! The only thing missing was the good ole' Kerala porotta which they were out of, because it's that AMAZING!
At the end of the meal we received bowls of complimentary semiya payasam, which is basically kheer for the malayalees, and this brought us to the end of our meal. On the whole, it was a happy Saturday afternoon for the tastebuds! Ruchi, you have my heart (and my stomach)!
Good authentic Kerala food. Love their roast crab which is full of flavor! The only thing I don’t like is the ambience at the restaurant. It’s a bit too dark and dingy. We usually order delivery for that reason even though we live right across the road from them.

Food is nice but a but overpriced compared to other kerala restaurants nearby. Food is tasty especially Grilled chicken. For Breakfast paalappam is a good choice....
Visit the place regularly with friends and family. Delivery orders also at times for home. Kerala dishes are quite good. Highly recommend the Thalassery Chicken Biriyani, Thrissur chicken.

As always a great option for both veg and non veg dishes. Delivery is very fast within the Madinat Zayed area in Abu Dhabi. Very generous portions. Definitely recommended.
I had their beef mappas and atta porotta and I really loved the food. Staffs are not that friendly but its ok. Some staffs are not ready to bring the menu to you. Half portion of beef chilly is enough for one person. Tried their thalassery dum biriyani and it was tasty as expected.
I have ordered only nadan dish, all items are good. Biryani specially Mutton is the best Kerala biryani when comparing with other Kerala restaurants. I hope no one gets disappointed.

The food was good and the service was also very quick and polite. In the time of covid cleanliness was up to the mark.
But the main problem is the parking if you are going for dinner. Almost the entire area of one kilometer is for the residents after 9 PM. We tried before 2 times to visit here but not got the parking even 30 min search.
