Very palatable Indian food. Great staff - Satnam was a great host and very helpful in food selection! Definitely recommended
Amazing food 😍👌 Definitely a must try place to satisfy Indian food cravings ☺️
If you want good quality Indian food with a good ambience, Ashas is the place. For starters would recommend their sabzi platter which comes in good portion and is delicious! The dal shorba (soup) is good too. For main course the chicken biryani is a must!! It's actually the highlight dish, with flavorful and aromatic rice and and the succulent chicken and the refreshing raitha! Didn't try the dessert as magnolia is just next door to this 😊,but i hear their gulab jamuns are good!
Am pregnant and i was craving for indian food. We went late yet the lady on the reception Ms kalpana was very welcoming and accepted us in because of my pregnancy belly 😬. Coming to our servant mr shajahan whom was also too friendly and kind, he suggested very delicious plate of chicken tikka, butter chicken, safron rice, and potato kulcha bread. All were delicious and tempting 😍😍 he also recommended a refreshing drink called truly berry that was tooooo good 👍🏻 highly recommended indian cuisine restaurant for best indian taste and great staff
It was an excellent experience food and service, special thanks to BIBEK for his excellent service and caring, definitely will do it again.
Great food, great staff, the chicken tikka biryani and the Muscat curry are one of the best in the UAE.

Aloo chatpate, palak patte chat and aloo matar tikki is my favourite. Paneer butter masala is good.
Great food good service. Kebabs, butter chicken and Goan chicken cashew was great. Only rogan josh not that good
Today we had lunch at Asha’s and we had the pleasure of being served by Shajahan, I asked if they can bring the food quickly because I was so hungry. The food was quick to arrive and the flavor was excellent. The level I’m used to from Asha’s.

Food taste, freshness and quantity of the food is good. I have tried couple of dishes as shown in the pictures. I was never disappointed with any of my order at this place so far. My favourite dessert at this place is Gulab jamun (it comes with small portion of rabdi). In chicken i will highly recommend Dhaniwal korma. Alu mattar tikki and palak chat is excellent.
Ashas, an award winning restaurant is known for their contemporary Indian cuisine and has opened their second branch in Abu Dhabi. Its located inside Galleria Mall in Al Maryah Island.
On entering the restaurant, you are going to get that cozy and contemporary interiors, with ample seating arrangements to fit a big family. The concept I got to try this time was their limited edition “Himachal to Ladakh” menu which will take you to culinary journey. This is an epic journey of the three indians (Rajan, Bobby, and Navin) and the Englishman (Mathew), to deliver authentic and innovative finest dishes to the table. There was a video of their experience using the QR codes on the menu, it was really amazing to see how they have cultivated these dishes and touch of their experience on it.
So for the starters we had the Thupka, which was a Indo – Tibetan hot noodle and egg soup with flavours of red chilli, garam masala and lemon juice. It was delicious and refreshing if that’s what you are going to have for the beginning of your meal here.
Then came the Chilli Garlic Momo, on the way to Leh from Himachal this was found to be hot selling there, so its chicken dumpling made of chicken mince, coriander, green chilli, garlic and scallions. Deep fried and tossed with chilli, garlic and soy. You wont stop after having one.
Next is one of my favourite from the menu, Ladakhi Dumplings. This was a dish found at a local ladakhi home, that you have to simply order from the menu. There’s a twist from Ashas on this dish, poached chicken dumplings with velvety tomato and onion curry. I just loved this.
Have you ever tried eating fresh fish from the river, the next dish named as Tandoori sea bream is one of a kind. So its kinda very simple Sea Bream in a marination of ginger, garlic, yellow chilli and salt. Needless to say it was delicious if you are a fish lover.
So if any naan lovers out here, the next two dishes are for you guys. Dhaniwal Khorma, inspired by the Wazwan cuisine in Ladakh, chicken prepared in freshly chopped coriander, creamy youghurt and slow sweated onion.
Next one of my favourite again, the RARA MUTTON, this is an amazing lamb dish I would say repeatedly. Slow cooked minced lamb and lamb on bone with onion, tomato, kashmiri red chilli powder; garam masala and coriander powder. Each naan piece and along with this, is heaven in your mouth – definite recommendation.
Biriyani lovers you wont be disappointed – Hariyali Chicken Biryani. Fresh marinated chicken baked and then flash fried over a bed of yakhani and chutney rice. This chutney rice was something that I loved.
For the desserts we had the Saffron Milk Cake and Saffron Kulfi – soft and fresh, that’s it, an end to our experience here. Next thing would be to hit the bed with satisfaction of relieving the hunger.
Food lovers do visit this place and try out this limited edition, which will be available from the 17th of October until the 26th of December 2019, across all Asha’s restaurants in Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain.
Visit their website and hit their upper tab mentioning Himachal to Ladakh, videos on their experience are shown there.
Amazing food and ambience with really sweet staff.
Absolutely amazing!
I really like the food at Ashas. This time when I visited they had launched a new menu. There were some lovely dishes like thukpa soup, ladakhi dumplings, chili garlic momos, rara mutton and lots more. The food is really good and the place feels upmarket.

शौक़ से लीजिये जी. इश्क के इम्तहाँ |. The famous song, written by Hasrat Jaipuri from 1958 hit Bollywood movie ‘Howrah Bridge’ still resonates in mind because of the sweet voice behind it; Asha Bhosle sang this song so nicely that its magical lyrics are elevated to the next level. The rough translation of this song:
Journey of Flavour with Three Indians and An Englishman from Himachal to Ladakh. Last October 16, 2019 Asha’s launched new Flavours on the menu At The Galleria Mall, Abu Dhabi and Every Dishes has its own story and Unique Flavour. Sumptuous Indo-Tibetan hot noodle and egg soup with Flavours of red chilli, garam Masala and lemon juice.
With the authentic ambience and traditional vibes all over we settled ourselves comfortably at the dine in arena of this beautiful signature restaurant by Asha’s (Ji)
Amazingly brought menu from the mountains of Himachal to Ladakh
Remembrance of those mystery behind street and signature food of two.
Very well organized interior and decor of each corner of the place is very impressive just above a better fine dine in place.
With a background of Asha Ji’s Music and trad flavors of mystery story of traveling based on (R, B & N) & Mr Mathew
Must visit there to know the whole hidden concept of its authentic flavors served on your desk.
We had a warm and fresh served a pot of lentil and thupka Soup (Signifies the feeling and taste of cold snowing weather, beautiful mountains and a road valley of youngsters)
Then comes, appetizers we had chicken Momo with Curries
Very well dim sum and trad flavors of those Nepalis culture.
Heavy appetizers - Chicken fried balls with dynamite curry
Sour and spicy taste amazingly prepared by Head Chef!
Served In a very tempting manner
With Dal and rice (Reminded me of Home style food) accompanied a main dish of chicken biryani with grilled chicken on top of it - tasted fresh, authentic and left a unforgettable pinch of flavor as a taste.
- Naan Garlic and butter basked aside
The unbelievable taste and dish was the best- Chicken Methi
Well grilled and cooked from in and served creamy and well cooked from out.
With lamb chops fresh; healthy and tasty (Yum) well cooked
Soft and chewy
Grilled at its level best.
Veg biryanis mix of all vegetables healthy and hygienic ones
Mushroom and corn beans as majors in main
Warm and served in a platter of such a heavy quantity filled with a taste of Indian tadka vegetables and saffron rose fragrance.
Drinks - Passion Mojito served fresh and squeezed with fresh fruits - flavors as real.
My personally fav dessert was Saffron rose milk cake! OMG. Have left everything behind. None can compete this
Which was served with a saffron milk and a pinch of cream / rose at bottom and flavor of saffron and milk. Soft and yummy!
As well as, Rabri malai with it to give it a cherry taste on top with caramel sweetener on top.
Very unique to experience.
Presentation was very authentic and well traditionally maintained which reminds of those days of Himachal and Ladak the river valleys, lakes and waterfall from mountains which brings all under a single roof.
I could say hard work paid off behind a fruitful journey of immense flavors served.
Traditional and authentic vibes all across
Comfortable and wide dine in arena.
Amazingly organized for group dine in with entertainment
Very generous and knowledgeable service reps
Each and every individual knew the hidden mystery of flavors served based on each dish.
Must try it’s Grilled Fish Well marinated by Indian authentic Masala’s and flavors to bring a tempting taste to everyone.
Fresh and well cooked and grilled from in
Soft and juicy taste!
Quality of the food cannot be compared - it’s jus a hidden Gem I would say!
Ratings - Gold Medal 🥇
Highly recommending!
The starters were spectacular. Both starters were vegetarian, can’t recall what they were called. But just set the scene. Almost to the point of making the main courses seem average. Good service. The bill was quite high for 3 people at 400.
Superb 10/ 10 👏👏👏👏
