This place is my all time favorite if I am craving for arabic food. Be it the grilled chicken, shawarma, fafalel or Arayees, they have nailed in the tatse. It is somehow very different from the regular shops and thats what makes them unique. They always serve hot bread which I love. The presentation is great and so is the quality. The prices are decent enough. The only downside is finding parking if you are going late night but then they cant be blamed for it.
Have only had delivery from here. Food has always been good.
I haven’t had much experience with Egyptian food, but I like the dishes available here. I’ve always ordered the same dishes ( knuckle soup, Rocca salad, tahina, and mixed grill). I would highly recommend them.
Will try again and am slowly becoming a regular.
I've only had their mixed falafel sandwich which is a falafel sandwich mixed with roasted brinjal a few other veggies and fries. Highly recommended as the falafels are fresh , not too oily and the sandwich in itself is something that I've been coming back for. Had this 3 days in a row for dinner and haven't been disappointed once. Plan to keep the streak going 😅

This place is our favorite restaurant for Egyptian Cuisine especially their unique falafel & delicious falafel Sandwiches..
Definitely a must visit for all their service is excellent & very friendly with kids ..
We were served fresh & hot delicious meal ..
Kids were pampered by the staff & offered free juices .. That was very sweet & kind gesture..
So very generous staff hospitality is great with prompt service..
Only Negative Point is Parking Which is real tough part ..

I'm really happy to find gad in the UAE.
They offer original Egyptian breakfast.
Egyptian Bread was fresh and puffy.
Fava Beans were alright, nothing special.
Falafel was fresh and crispy.
Pickled eggplant was delicious.
Even Pickles and Tahini were well prepared.
Ambience and seating were ok, nothing special.
Service was ok.
Price for the amount was good.
Quality is really fine for the Egyptian breakfast items.
I love the food from this place authentic egyptian cuisine, the food is always fresh and cooked nicely, i’ve been eating there since 2005.
This time I ordered 3 sandwiches:
- Alexandrian liver: its very good and close to the one made in Alexandria, better than any other egyptian shop.
- chicken pane: very good sandwich with the right amount of pickles and sauce it drives you crazy.
- chicken shishtawook : my favourite, its freshly made on the grill and it served to you fresh directly on the sandwich with pickles, vegetables and sauce.

I live near by this area, and I'm addicted to their grilled chicken, it's so delicious and the variety of sides are great.
I don't know why I see review with low ratings.
If.. only if u are a fan of falafel sandwich like I am.. dude this palace have the best falafel sandwich I've ever had.. I don't know about other food.. but falafel sandwich is awesome good..

طلبنا حواوشي، نصف دجاجه مشوي، فطيره حادق مشكل، ورز فياجرا
المشكلة اللي في المحل التكييف والاجابة الجاهزه ان التكييف تحت الصيانه وبسمعها بقالي سنه لغايه حالا (الرجاء الاهتمام واللي رائح ياخد معاه مروحه)

The place has some tasty food and nice seats to enjoy a good meal with friends and family, but the service is a bit not at it's top level. The people who work there dont make you feel comfortable in some way that i can't say it. The place down stairs is totally different than the place upstairs, they don't actually take care of the look of the restaurant, and the management is not doing anything about the look of the place. On Friday morning you can wait for 15-20 minutes for couple of Sandwiches, because only 2 people are working there, but if they add some extra staff in the rush hours they would hit it really good.
Anyway, their food is tasty with good quality.
This branch is much better than the other. Their falafel is the best and staff are very virtuous. Delivery was fast. And of course the cost is very reasonable.
I love GAD restaurant. I always buy shaverma from khaldiya branch .
It got amazing taste and flavors .
The shaverma is but small and not filling . You have to busy atleast two to kill your hunger .
But recently I noticed that the fillings in the shaverma bread is reducing too .
That's very disappointing.
Take too much time to get the order ok for take way .
The staff is good . They do come to the car and take order .
They accept cash and card .

Very good hidden gem in AUH if you are a fan of Egyptian food.
Lentil soup, hummus and grills are a must try.
I hear they serve awesome Koshari on Thursdays which I would try in my next trip.
Nice budget friendly and good location.
The food is average , some dishes requires some revisiting by management, sometimes find difficulties in chewing their chicken, mix grill is above average , sandwiches are in a better position than main dishes
When I see the rating so low for this restaurant I thought people really do not have taste or do not understand the contest. This is clearly not an elegant restaurant, BUT it is so original. Do you want to eat Middle eastern street food? This is the location. I had a super falafel, a fantastic little sandwich with all their special vegetable sauce, so good, I could not stop eating. Avoid though anything not Arabic, for example do not order Pizza, this leave to Italians restaurants....
It's a great restaurant with real authentic taste but you'll need to know what to order as they don't master the western/Lebanese dishes.
I recommend ordering their Egyptian dishes which makes sense as it's an Egyptian restaurant.
Service is quick and prompt and food including bread is always served hot. I definitely recommend it to everyone.
This is one of me and my husband's favorite place to eat. One of the best tasting. Deliciously amazing food ive tried. Kudos to the chefs! Good job everyone!

Your master shall write his first review you lucky peasants. A great saga has just begun.
Now, the premise of this review and more to come. I have taste buds more sensitive and developed than any one of you, I can eat more than any one of you, therefore, you shall give ear and heed my advice.
GAD, or as those pyramid building Arabs call it, Jaad, is great, it has a rating of below three at the time of this review, which is just abysmal, how dare you insolent people rate it so low.
That being said, you need to know what to order here, you shall order, the charcoal grilled chicken, it is just sublime, grilled to perfection, juicy, almost boneless chicken combines with the herbs, yes the herbs, they marinate with herbs, you need to know how to smell and taste it, is enamoring. One of the best in UAE easily. To go along with the chicken, you order the avocado milkshake with honey and pistachio, oh the creamy bliss.
Then you finish it up with an Egyptian style beef shawarma(yes, Egyptian, for the uninformed, there are mainly 4 different types of Shawarmas which they sell here in UAE, i.e. If you go just by the country). You ask for extra tahini sauce in it and savour the intoxicating mix of lightly flavoured meat with parsley, onions, tomatoes and the tahini sauce in fresh bread. When done you lick the extra sauce of the paper because you don't care and ask for the bill.
The rest is just average, decent fajitas, chicken shawarma is so so. The juices are always fresh, be sure to order them considering the season, they don't alter them much, so a mango milkshake will taste better in the summer than winters. Nothing else to speak about to be honest. Oh yes, don't complain about the hummus, Egyptians make it that way. The staff cater to you better if you speak Arabic, if you don't then get used to it or learn it, this is UAE, don't complain about that, imagine walking into a local restaurant in London knowing broken English. Bloody A

It's not over priced, however the food could be much better ..
Good choice for Arabic breakfast, lunch and dinner.
They make good feteer .. Like REALLY GOOD.
But you may suffer from the parking problem as it is in its worse over there.
The best beef shawarma that UAE has to offer is in here ! You cannot go wrong with the beef shawarma here ! I'm specifying coz chicken shawarma doesn't taste good at all ! Everything else is similar to what you can get in a normal Lebanese restaurant. If you don't know Arabic you may have a bit of trouble getting your order fast, since Arabic speaking people come snatch their order even before you even if you have been waiting there from before they arrived! But all in all, great food !!

They have the best mango juice ever. My family always buy from them and our friends and neighbors like their mango juice. It is fresh, and thick. Also their is chunvk of fresh mango inside the juice.
