It’s a decent risotto for its price and pretty well prepared for a food court restaurant. The wings were smokey and good! The risotto was piping hot and pretty well seasoned! I do recommend visiting this place!
The best pasta place in town, its simply irresistible.I fell in love with their ravioli. Their baked pastas are large in quantity which can be shared by two. Will definitely visit there again and again while craving for pasta.

You just can not finish the entire thing in one sitting..that's how kind this place is at its servings. Price put against what they offer is absolutely even-handed, I'd like to add.
Staff is quite warm and they put a comforting smile on while you dangle between the choices.

At Il Forno Pizza, we ordered the cheese sticks and the pollo chicken pizza. Il Forno pizza had the most delicious cheese sticks. I loved the hint of basil on the breaded part of the cheese sticks.
The pizza was pretty good, but I was not too impressed with the chicken. Also the pizza on top was a little watery, maybe from the mushrooms or cheese. The dough was a little bland as well.
The other ingredients on the pizza were rich in flavor, and the pizza included a good amount of toppings.
Had my best lunch out here , loved the Alfredo penne pasta the creamy mouthwatering sauce was worth the amount and the shrimps linguini as well tasted nice with that garlic sauce and cherry tomatoes loved the main course worth a try great fun with friends thanks for the lovly time Sana Sande

Wow....Really Authentic European Taste. Ever since I visited Rome, I was in love with Pesto Pasta. After coming back to UAE, tried Pesto Pasta at various restaurants and none met the taste. For first time again, Il Forno has reminded me the same taste. We ordered Pizza Grigliata, Penni Verdi Pasta and Pesto Sauce Pasta. All items were of such great taste and for sure brought back my europe memories.
A mid-range all Itialian eatery which has not been completely westernized. I have visited many branches and have tried various pasta from them and it has always been a hit for me. The portions are very generous, sometimes good for two. The dishes are extremely delicious and my all time favorite is the lasagna il forno, it's the best lasagna I honestly ever had and is a must try. Other than I also recommend: spaghetti alla bolognese, penne picante, fettuccine alfredo and risotto salmon ei asparagi. You can also customize your own pasta and order which I think is pretty nice. For the drink, I really like the C-Power. The service is a bit slow because it's made fresh to order but the food is worth the wait when is comes sizzling hot on your table. There's nothing much to the staff or ambiance, it's very ordinary. It's not very heavy on the pocket which is a win situation for such good Italian food.
Have tried few deliveries from this brand earlier for Pizza...when walked in thought of trying their pastas this time.. This restaurant is in the food court but have some seating for themselves... save us from the noisy food court seating to enjoy the food..
We ordered all chicken pastas one penne with pink sauce, one with Alfredo sauce and one baked style...
Very impressed with the service and quality and taste they sure kept it juicy which is the way we like it... very filling could not finish it so had it wrapped for Take away...

Probably one of the few pizza/pasta joints in the city that always get your order right and in a timely manner. I recommend the Farfalle Safron because it's always fresh, creamy and has a generous amount of shrimp and chicken.

Awesome food, menu variety, portions and freshness made just right! However, I would suggest this place promotes its offerings, just like most other places in the Abu Dhabi, and adds to its calzone menu.
It's my first time ordering ever at Il Forno and it did not disappoint. After ordering through the app and getting a call from their cashier, I realized that I have not told them about the condiments that I need. And also I was expecting the delivery to not be on time but it is surprisingly very early.
The food tastes good! I would have given it a perfect 5 review, if it was not a little dry. But don't let that stop you from ordering, maybe I was just expecting a little oil whenever I eat pizza. The taste was really really good, though it can be improved with a little chilli oil on the included condiments.
They gave 1 plate only which is fine but next time at least I'm expecting it to be two as the pizza was big enough for sharing. Also no salt was given, though you can maybe tell them on the instructions section upon ordering.
All in all the experience and taste is good. I will definitely be ordering again.

I always love il forno and so does my family. The pizzas and the pastas are our fav. Till now all we varieties ordered were excellent. Creamy and not overly cheesy pastas... thin crust pizzas. Initially we would get many freebies like free pizza or risotto and even gelatto... but now only scratch cards. Delivery is very quick and piping hot.

Till now I haven't found any pasta better than Ilforno pasta (for delivery) feels like homemade pasta.. Tasty and yummy!!
But sooo unfortunate this is the second time I found “hair” in the order.. walla I’m so saad because I really like this pasta.. but this thing turn off my appetite..
I haven't tried everything from Il forno but I could root for the pasta I had, its fresh, served blistering hot right off the pan (this is why it sometimes takes a while to get your food but totally worth it), its also extremely tasteful and scrumptious. My only concern is with their delivery packaging if that could be improved the whole experience would a deserve a 5 out of 5
Cant remember what i order before, spaghetti with white cheese.. omg i really love it but a little oily but i love it. I also order pizza. 🙂 Love it
Just had the most yummy lasagna from Il Forno. It was piping hot and well packed. Garlic bread with cheese was awesome.. Just one thing there should be an option to order 2 pcs of garlic bread instead of the compulsory 4.

Most favourite dish is the beef lasagne I absolutely love it! Definitely recommend this place if you are an Italian food lover. Ive been to a few branches and the staff is always friendly.

Ordered veg pizza once and had in the outlet once.
Pizzas are good, normal like any other restaurant. Nothing too special about them. Their small pizza is big enough for 2 persons to share.

I think its one of the best italian food in abu dhabi! Great flavours and portion! I tried several italian restaurants in abu dhabi , this is he one came very very close to my preferred flavours!

We chose Il Forno to cater for our company lunch today and made the right choice. All pizzas and pastas delivered hot and fresh. Just concerned about the pizza toppings a little bit less but overloaded with cheese. Pastas are very tasty with lots of sauce and cheese. Salads are fresh as well. All foods are packaced properly and delivered on time.

Had some salads and some chicken main course like 3 times at the times when they used to have offers for lunch no idea if they still have it but it worth it.

ll Forno has been always our choice at work or even in a mall if we can't decide on a restaurant. It's affordable and delicious. Tried their pizza, which is thin and I can eat half a medium one all by myself. Tried their pasta whether it was penne, fettuccine, ravioli with white, pink, and even red sauce and all of them were great. Also, I tried their lasagna ll Forno and lasagna di pollo, which are our regular orders. At work we usually order different plates and share them between us, so we won’t miss on anything.
Great place for some Italian comfort food. I was never a fan of pastas but I've been craving it a lot as of lately, so I decided to try il forno as its right next to my house and their zomato ratings were somehow decent. I like my pastas simple with no meat and barely any toppings. I tried their penne with rose sauce (pink sauce) and their Alfredo pasta with lots of mushrooms and both were very creamy and rich, not to mention the portions were huge! I was kind of expecting watered down generic pastas like the ones they serve around here, but was surprised to get quality dishes. We also tried their pizzas and were not disappointed at all! They were thin, crispy and bursting with yummy flavours! I will definitely be adding this place to my list of favourite spots to order from.

I went to this branch yesterday, as we wanted pizza and pasta. This branch is one with around 4 tables..much better than their Al Markaziya one, and the other one in Abu Dhabi mall. Its still small and can accomodate around 15-18 people only.
Their menu is extensive/massive. I had one put into my takeaway bag and it is literally like a tiny magazine by itself.
We ordered the Fettucine Cajun Alfredo but requested for Penne pasta instead of Fettucine and one Il Forno pizza and I asked them to make it spicy. We also ordered a cocktail juice called 'Passionate' which was Avocado with milk and honey.
The juice and pasta were served in under 10 minutes. I liked the juice..it was not as thick as the refreshment shop avocado juice but was smooth and sweet...it also cost 25 bucks, which was a little too much.
The pizza came 5 minutes later. Both dishes were really good. I ordered the medium pizza for me and my friend to share but I felt that it was too much considering we had the pasta to devour also.
Overall a good meal. The only complaint I'd have is that a fly flew in with the number of times the delivery boy would enter and exit and sat on my pizza (the fly not the delivery boy lol) -.-
Anyway worth the penny spent for a good, filling Italian fix.
This is certainly not the place to dine à la carte though home delivery so far is tough to beat (especially of there is a nearby branch). When standards are set this high, it really is hard to beat. The baked pastas (the new additions on the menu) are impeccable and some of the seafood pastas are great. Really good (especially the Al Wahda branch) and home delivery is amazing.

I like Italian food a lot, it is my comfort food and i always try to find a good lasagne or Pizza when i'm not in the mood or not craving anything in particular. Il forno have a small branch in my college as well so you can almost find it anywhere you go in the city.
Ilforno is not a place to dine in at all to me, its not dine in friendly. The way Ilforno was established is to make it a take away or delivery place. Just like it's rivals, Pizza hut, Dominos and other pizza places. Take away or dilvery places has to be all about good enough food that reaches you warm and fresh, and this is what Ilforno managed to do.
The food is good enough, thier pIzzas are nice, the pastas are good and thats about it. The complimentary bread is just edable, the chili flakes, parmesan and black pepper are nowhere near fresh and the portions of anything complimentary are not enough. On the other hand, the portions of what you actually order is really good.
As long as you order pasta and Pizza, your on the safe side. They will reach you fresh, warm and ready to be eaten. Their freash jucies are nice as well but they pack them in a horrible way to ensure they don't spell on their way to you. Dessert is not thier specialty, if you are going to order anything just dont expect it to be what you ordered. The tiramisu is nothing like a tiramisu, it tastes sweet and nice but it's definitley not a tirmaisu.
all in all, if Ilforno manages to give me good pizza and pasta, i think it is good enough to keep ordering from once in while.
