This place bring lots of memories for me , highly recommended for family and friends gathering , great food and amazing service , after finishing our meal we play backgammon , special thanks for hicham and definitely will be back

Neighborhood shisha place! Economical, tasty munching with reasonably priced shisha,has both indoor n outdoor seating. Really like their arayes and mix grill platter, coffee is good too!

Ordered Philadelphia sandwich for takeaway, it comes with generous portion of French fries.
The service from ordering to pick up was outstanding.

The shesha used ti be perfect but now it gets burned fast like it will last for one hour n thats it, even the flavour its not as good as before but everything is wonderful .. Its not just a place to chill .. You can take your laptop and work there it study
This restaurant has been around for years. I avoided going to it only because, every time i walked past, i'd only see people smoking sheesha. So, i didn't think the food will be all that great. After all these years i was pleasantly surprised when i went for dinner that evening.
There were still a lot of people sheesha. One side of the room was filled with smoke. The other was okay. The crew were nice. The food was delicious. The portions were substantial. You can choose to play a board game as well. I enjoyed my evening even though I was the second female diner in that restaurant.
A search for a good cafe on a Thursday night led us to this cafe located in a tough to find place. There is a big issue for parking over here but then the management does provide Valet which helps you to enjoy inside without any worries. The seating and ambiance is very bright and nice. Not to forget its very spacious too. I found a table for 4 on a Thursday night as soon as i entered. The main purpose of visiting this place was to get to watch a game of football (Yep im a big fan) which further led to ordering a main course and a strawberry milkshake along with a Grapemint sheesha. If you're sole purpose is just the sheesha then i wouldn't recommend this place. Not upto the mark for how much they charge. So minus points there, mate.
As far the food is considered, we ordered a pasta made with pinky sauce (Yeah that word tempted us to try it out) which tasted very good and better than expected and so was the strawberry milkshake, won my heart with the food. Good job there Planet Cafe!

Planet Cafe is right next door to where I live and I have been living in this apartment forever. Yet I have never tried their food! Strange! I walk past them daily, and everytime I plan to eat out, I never consider them. Now I have been raking my poor brain to figure out the reason why and I couldn't come up with a proper excuse!
Anyways... I visited them few months back for the first time. To be precise, I visited them during the FIFA world cup. Yup been very busy with work and it has been forever since I wrote a review here - shame!
The day we visited them, they said that we can only be seated if we ensured we placed an order of minimum AED 50 per head. I don't think its there regular practice - could be because of the world cup match telecast. We went in all ready to order and started with some Fried Calamari and Onion Rings. Their appetizer selection is very limited. These were the only items that appealed to me on their menu. We also tried a Mint lemon juice apart from the shisha offcourse! As for Shisha - we tried their mint one and also their apple flavor.
For main course, we tried their Mexican Chicken, Chicken Shawarma on the plate and Chicken cacciatore. Their food is heavenly. Each and every element in cooking is carefully attended to and it reflects on their taste. At the end of the day, a restaurant is only as good as the food they serve. And after tasting their food I have realized that the crowd here was not just because of the matches telecasted but more thanks to their tasty food.

I have been visiting Planet since 2008....less these days, but its fair to say I have been there many many times.
Having just visited recently, I can happily say it is still good. Their menu is wide and the food is very decent.
One thing I like very much is the daily dish - you have a few choices each day, the portions are generous and they come with a choice of soup. The food is tasty and served in good time. Between the daily dishes and the menu, you have a good choice of homemade Lebanese/Arabic food, Pasta, Pizza, Snadwhices, salads and continental dishes (grilled salmon fillet is also recommended)
As reviewed below the staff are very attentive, quick and helpful. This place is run well and provides good value for money. It is a great place for a lunch break.
Recommended for a casual lunch or coffee/shisha.
Planet Cafe is a cafe I often visit with friends for some great food and sheesha.
Starting with the food, I would absolutely recommend the Mexican Chicken and Grilled Chicken Pizza.
The Mexican Chicken tastes like a Mexican version of butter chicken (that doesn't mean I'm complaining)
It's genuinely quite nice and is served with rice. Also the Grilled Chicken Pizza is brilliant, the thin
crust is really crispy and the grilled chicken is cooked well.
Next moving on to their sheesha, I personally don't like the sheesha here much. I usually call for the mint sheesha
but at Planet cafe, I prefer the orange sheesha which is not served in too many places.
I've also tried out a few desserts here, the chocolate mousse and brownie were quite good.
The staff unlike most other places is quite friendly.
The interiors of this place is quite bright, and it is quite packed at most times.
