(التعليق الأصلي) We were already staycaying the night at the Jumeirah Al Wathba Resort & Spa (which is fairly new) and opted for the Friday brunch/buffet dinner at Al Mabeet, inspired by Bedouin traditions. The Friday brunch/buffet dinner included: 🥘 traditional Emirati cuisine (eg the lamb and rice dish seen at Iftars, camel, mixed grill), 🦅 a meet & greet with a 3yo falcon named ‘Wathba’, who had her trainer tied to her legs so he couldn’t get away, 〰️ Henna tattooing, 🤳 ‘pods’ set up for for Instagram opps, 🔥 entertainment (belly dancers, fire twirler, live music - the fire twirler was EXCELLENT). 💡If you’re like me and have guests visiting soon who want to do something “desert-y” and try Arabic foods, or, if you’re missing Iftars already - this place is an option. The quality of the food, service and customer experience was great... at 420 AED per person, I guess it ought to be (we did get 50% off as part of our hotel staycay deal, so we paid 210 AED per person).
