Hands down the best Indian restaurant in the city. The best South Indian breakfast including the vada, puri, Mysore masala dosa. The chutneys and sambar are yummy too. Also delicious is the chaat (pani puri, dahi papdi). Even better than their famous vada pav is their samosa pav. Must try with some extra spice! Their lunch thaali, especially the palak paneer, other paneer dishes and pickle are perfect. Another great choice here is the chotey bhatura. The service is friendly and home delivery is very good too.
I went to Salam Bombay Al Nahyan branch for lunch with a colleague. Firstly, I’d love to point out how much how love the bollywood vibe of this place 🎬 Now coming to the food, I ordered thali. The thali is called maharaja thali and indeed the name is super apt, it was so grand and delicious 😋 they have an option to choose from poori or naan and I thought of going for the poori along with that they serve 2 sabzis which were so yummy that I finished like every last bite, they also serve rice, daal, raita, papad, a snack and pickle. Just loved it 🥳
Salam Bombay is the way best restaurant for vegetarians folks. Almost was there in Abu Dhabi for 3 months. Had almost breakfast and Dinner everyday at this restaurant. Very healthy and clean restaurant. Staff at Salam Bombay is very friendly. Must try out this restaurant.

It’s very homely food I felt. Specially if you like Maharashtrian food. It’s spicy and delicious with prefect blend of all masala. It’s a feast for vegetarian lovers. The best place to have Bombay style chats and snacks. They also have a variety of vegetarian main course dishes along with south indian breakfasts. I ordered for vada pav which was freshly made as it was piping hot with super tasty garlic chutney and some fried chilies. Pani puri was excellent. Punjabi samosa we ordered was also excellent with crispy flaky covering and delicious potato stuffing. Masala tea was also too good. Over all a nice dining experience if you are craving for some good chats and vegetarian meal.

It was great visiting Salaam Bombay the other day. The selection of vegetarian fare is quite vast, primarily from the state Maharashtra. Their special Pav bhaji, Paneer dosa and Chaat is a class apart. A real treat for vegans who fancy Indian cuisine.
Salam Bombay on my recent stay at Abu Dhabhi me and my family dined at this restaurant. I had Dabeli after a long time and their food is good we tried Mushroom Handi , Amritsari chole and Kulcha. Staff are courteous and quick service. Will visit again.
I will not hesitate to call this place my home away from home ! If clean hygienic and homely food is what you seek, look no further. Having an extremely sensitive stomach, this place has been my source of survival for 3 months with zero hiccups. The staff is extremely polite and welcoming. Prakash, Bishnu ji, Amrit and Krishna all have become a family !

Used to regularly order from this restaurant, really good and healthy food. Also the staff is really friendly and very patient. Aloo Paratha has been one of their best consistently. A very good option if you looking for Indian breakfast/snacks, the main course however at times is a bit expensive for the quantity. Over all it’s worth to check this place out.

It is a very good vegetarian restaurant we normally visit. Compared to najda street, muroor road brach is quite spacious, outdoor service also there. Taste was good. Had palak soup, it was yummy, roti was very soft n liked it.
What a lovely delicious evening treat my aunt ordered for me today. Super tasty wada paav and it was as authentic as you can get in Mumbai. Sukhi chatni was spicy salty and hot. Fried chili was the show stopper. A must try.

We landed here for an early morning breakfast. And as they say, a perfect way to start a day is with a healthy breakfast. And we had a hearty breakfast.
We had special paav bhaaji, masala poori, methi paratha, vada and coffee.
We loved masala poori the most. Everything was amazing and we returned with a full tummy and happy faces.

It also comes with chappathi (Indian bread), pickles, raitha and pappadam. Great food, less oil. (a) On 20 Sep’18 I ordered #paneersizzler (AED 30) - Loved watching how it sizzled on cabbage leaves. Loads of foods more than enough for 2 people. Half portion has fried rice and other half noodles which are covered by cottage cheese, mushroom, baby corn, green capsicum, carrot and spring onion. Definitely one time to try. However, my rating is 3* (b) #specialchaat (AED 15) - Total street food and their signature dish but blend of papdi chaat, dahi bhalla Puri and samosa chat. Topped with apple slice and chick peas. Generally, it’s covered by yoghurt but I prefer to take it separately and mix it as and when needed. Loved it! My rating is 4*

I been there few days back with my co- workers at Lunch time . We ordered thali and A la carte food from the menu. Food was delicious and great value for money.
But the service was just okk.

I frequently visit this outlet mostly for Onion Rava Dosa. The food is the best here, and the most importantly the staff here are excellent, especially I'm quite overwhelmed by the pleasing attitude and customer service provided by your Captain Mr. Bishnu. He is so polite and cordial that I feel like coming back to this place again and again. I wish your restaurant becoming a leading food court around Abu Dhabi.

I visited this place for a month daily. It felt like home away from home. Maharaja thali serves the purpose during lunch and I tried almost every cuisine at night. Made amazing friends and got fatter too.
Good , affordable, filling vegetarian option.. I tried the mini burger was really good but VERY spicy.. next time gotta tell them less spicy..

I make it a point to visit this place weekly once. It’s the real flavor of Mumbai. Being from Mumbai I really miss the chats and other dishes but whenever I got any such craving I jump into this place and the point of satiety which I receive cannot he expressed.
Be it the vada pav, samosa, any chat, lunch, Punjabi thali or dinner or even the dal khichdi. It’s awesome. I have had almost tried each and every dish that’s on the menu atleast once. Thumbs Up for this place.

Salam Bombay Indian authentic vegetarian restaurant which have 3 location in AbuDhabi and we visited Al Nahyan Camp muror branch at lunch time..the place got a new look decoration with Bollywood theme and movie posters. The restaurant is clean and cozy. Staff are friendly .food is just delecoius and very tasty . Prices are pocket friendly.
Note: they have some sleceted dishes that served only after noon and some at evening

The cleanliness of the restaurant could be better. The tables weren't always clean so it's a little skeptical about what goes on in the kitchen. Nevertheless, the food was great and each visit was maintained in quality. Service is average, nothing special.

I ve been here many time. The restaurant was quiet clean and looks good. I love the concept of tali which so many food on one tray, the taste was good.. Honestly speaking I don't like sweet.. But exceptional for their sweets, I love cheese in safron syrup, good gulab jamun, etc.. basically I come back just because of their chat.. Very refreshing.. I always ask for spicy or chili on top..

Great value for money restaurant from a delivery point of view! Ordered onion poha with jalebi which was absolutely amazing and good quantity to compliment its humble pricing of AED 10. Poha lovers should definitely try this out because it is little sweet in taste which makes it different and very tasty. Upma was nicely cooked and fine too. Again quantity and quality wise this restaurant just takes the cake. For mere AED 8 you will get good portion of upma. Mysore sada dosa is another fantastic option you should definitely try out from this restaurant. Sambar served with this dosa is the best I had in ages. Great taste as its little sweet yet decently chilli and goes well with coconut chutney on the side which is thick quite unlike other South Indian restaurants that serve it in watery state. Love their food. Its a perfect combo of value for money with good portion and great taste. I can forsee myself as their regular customer effective today!

This unassuming vegetarian joint is a great boon for me, as my office is nearby. I go there often, to try their thali, the chaats, the milk desserts kept fresh on display & their evening snacks. They have an outdoor seating as well, which is really cool for the winters. The staff are not exactly highly qualified, but they're sincere & serve from the heart. The only glitch is that if they're even 80% occupied, there can be delays in the kitchen. I like the Bombay posters on the wall, it reminds me of the city where I went to college 15 years ago!
Unexpected twist when I saw this Resturant after a work in indian embassy office. Was searching a place for tea and saw this. Met the same staff I know in Salam Bombay musaffah. Masala tea and Samosa made my day.
Yummy Indian food and the portion sizes are BIG!
We ordered paneer pakoda, vadas sambar a falooda and then rava and ghee dosa but by the time the vadas came we realised this is where our stomachs would draw the line!
The paneer pakoda were served fresh and hot and it's almost a lil sandwich. Very yummy!
The vadas were jumbo size! Each one was as good as 2 regular vadas. Very yummy with the slightly sweet sambar but it was a bit too dense and not airy enough for my taste but that didn't stop me from cleaning my plate!
We asked for the dosas to be made take away. They weren't as nice once packed away and had for breakfast the next day but still you could tell the flavours were right on point and would have been delicious fresh and crisp...again really big dosas!
Last but not the least the kulfi falooda...surprisingly it was green! Flavours were yum and the kulfi was nice and creamy but I would have liked more rose syrup in it.
If you like Indian food you must try this place out!
Seen it by chance while in the neighborhood, not easy to spot it at all. I loved their sada dosa, it was very tasty! 8/10. I ordered as well Dhai Poori and it was also very nice but SALTY! 6/10.. their sweet was tasteless!! 2/10 with water total bill 31 hehehe 10/10
I am a true carnivore but I would quite happily turn vegetarian if all veg food tasted as good as Salam Bombay's. It is a fantastic Indian veg restaurant which I was introduced to by one of my North Indian colleagues. It's location at the edge of Al Nahyan Camp area isn't an area which you would normally pass but there is usually ample parking of an evening.
I am addicted to their Pav Bhaji Bombay and it has helped me through many hazy office mornings. One only criticism is that the delivery can take a long time during busy periods but it is always worth the wait.
Dining in is also a pleasant experience, the restaurant is always clean and the staff are extremely attentive. The menu is also extensive and extremely good value for money; you will have a lot of change from 100aed after dinner for 2 with starters.
