This is the only place that serves enjoyable food below our office building. But it's a little expensive. I've tried the Pepperoni Pizza, BBQ Pizza, Cream & Chicken Pizza and the Alfredo Pasta. Loved everything that I've tried from this place but not a fan of the Cream & Chicken Pizza because it had artichokes.. 🙄

It's friendship Day and gourmet is busy. Every table is full, and still, we were not disappointed. Stellar service from our waiter Walter made our dining experience that much better...

Great place! Nice food and salad! Anyways service matters irrespective of how good the place is. Some staff need to be trained to make you feel more at home and welcomed.

One of the best places in Abu Dhabi, food is amazing, ambience is more than perfect, and the staff are very friendly. I work in Al Dar building and i really enjoy having breakfast and lunch over there. Specially outdoors with the amazing veiw of the sea. I highly recommend it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

If you work at Al Dar you have two choices for lunch - and both are now bad. It's a shame. Gourmet District used to be a place you might even consider on the weekends - it was that good. They had a chef who really knew what he was doing. That chef is now gone and the manager has absolutely no clue what he's doing, nor how he's ruined this café. The menu is boring, the quality of food is not even average, and the prices are too high. When you have the former menu and food to compare, the junk they're serving now should be embarrassing. The manager should be fired. PLEASE bring back the old chef and HIRE a manager who knows what the hell he's doing!

Working at the Aldar HQ means limited lunch options, and by limited I mean 2! Gourmet District is the restaurant which serves fresh and hot food. So for client meetings and team lunches, we prefer this over the other cafe. Both located on the ground floor of Aldar HQ. I have tried several dishes from the menu and my favs are the smoked Pumpkin and Feta Cheese Salad, Pesto Ravioli and Grilled Salmon. I do NOT recommend the Burgers which are tough pieces of meat sandwiched between veggies and bread. Dessert options are good, too.

After a meeting at aldar,my colleague and I were famished and this place just happened to be in the building. We walked in about 4:15pm. They were empty and outside seating was already closed. So we sat indoors. The interiors were regular cafe interiors with nothing worth mentioning. We were given the menus and the service was good. My colleague ordered the orange juice and I ordered the watermelon juice. Despite specially requesting for no sugar, it came with sugar :(. For food, my.colleague ordered the cobb salad and I ordered the chicken roulade stuffed with minced chicken and prunes which was to be served on.a bed of quinoa with steamed broccoli on the side. The salad was quite a big portion but looked fresh. The chicken roulade was served with only.3 florets of broccoli! I expected a more decent portion as a side. Moreover,the broccoli and the chicken was overcooked. The broccoli was turning yellow and the chicken was dry despite the prunes there for moisture and the minced chicken was super dry that it.didn't taste like chicken. However, the quinoa was well cooked with some diced yellow and red peppers. It tasted very nice. Overall not a great experience. Would not go.back for.a meal there but perhaps only a coffee

The place is nice for a cafe, not a resturant. Prices are good, food quality is extremely good, the staff are friendly, but you must wait for a very long time until you get your order. The place smells unpleasantly like seafood, i wish they do something about that.

Lovely lunch with Khadija ! The other reviews were absolutely right, the chicken Kiev was gorgeous! So was the fish and chips! Cannot wait to go back there!

The best view in Abu Dhabi. Their terrace is simply amazing, there is nothing better than having breakfast early in the morning there. I recommend their pan cakes

Food is great, trying the Chicken Kiev is a must. the service is also good as you will receive your food within 10-15 minutes. They have an outdoor seating area with an amazing view. The only issue that they currently close on Friday and Saturdays. I would return, definitely!
