Then it arrived cold and upon complaining, the owner or manager came back with the same dish saying it wasn't cold so basically eat it as is, you customer have no say on this. Also it seemed more expensive than before. Additionally, compared to my previous visits, the place looked very dirt; it has definitely gone downhill. This used to be one my favorite places in the UAE. I don't think I'd go back and I'd recommend strongly against it.

Also do you know how hard it is to find good fried rice in this city? Their fried was perfectly made with wok-fried jasmin rice and bejeweled with plenty to vegetables. Found my new to-go spot and will definitely be ordering again!

A small place offered very delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine that I truly enjoyed every dish, a service bit slow because they prepare each orders upon ordering that’s why it’s so fresh and hot when they served it. I ordered dumplings and noodles and both dishes are mouthwatering. Good job to the team, I will definitely see you again.

The Spicy beef fried noodles was tasty, but had way too much oil and onions. I will be back for the soup bao though - bursting with flavour 😋 Literally.

I’ve tried their milktea before but it wasnt like this. It was my first time yeaterday that the pearls in my milktea doesnt taste good—like it wasnt cooked well. It was a bit hard and the taste is different from the usual pearls. Disappointing though. <br/>

I'm a huge fan of chinese food! ❤️ I really love the food here, It's very authentic. This is the first time i tried the milk tea, It's delicious! It's just that the pearls are sticking with each other, And it's very hard to zip it. ☹️ The xiao long bao's are not the same as before with lots of meat inside, Now the flour is too thick.

I’ve fallen in love with Authentic Chinese food ever since I first came here and now go here atleast twice every month. <br/><br/>A small, family run cafeteria that serves some really delicious and flavourful food with good portions. My usual order is Veg pan fried bao (AED 20), Red Chilli Oil Wonton (AED 28) - this is a must order dish because we use the gravy of the wontons in every other dish for more flavour, Garlic Egg Fried Rice (AED 24) and Spicy Beef Fried Rice (AED 28). <br/><br/>This will forever be one of my favourite places to go to in Abu Dhabi.

This is literally the best Chinese restaurant in Abu Dhabi. Small and cosy atmosphere with excellent food. My recommendations are the spicy beef fried rice, pan fried shrimp and chicken Bao buns as well as the scallop and onion noodles. The decor is cute and I love the customised cutlery! I’ve been frequenting here for well over a year 😊

A gem of a place to try authentic chinese dish . I have been looking for a place in Abu Dhabi that serves sichuan style dishes..spicy & flavorful balanced. A small cafeteria with not many seats but it feels as if you are in a warm family's company.<br/>I ordered red chilly oil wanton( beef filling) , so beautiful to look at and just taking the first bite- i could feel taste bud explosions, just heavenly. I was playing a bit safe as it was my first visit, so i ordered chicken garlic fried rice.<br/>I finished the entire plate in one shot all by myself. Loved every morsel..it was sooo good. My tummy is happy.<br/>Double Triple thumbs up to the family. GOOD FOOD = Happy me. :)

Panda Bao Bao is a sensational hole in the wall restaurant which serves up some pretty amazing food predominantly in the Sichuan province style.<br/><br/>The restaurant is tiny and does not seat more than 14 people, but it is absolutely worth the wait if you are planning on dining in, but be warned though that the restaurant has no ambiance to speak of. <br/><br/>The food has bold flavors, particularly the pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of garlic and chili peppers, as well as the unique flavor of Sichuan pepper. The food is authentic and is not modified to suit expat palates, so if it is an authentic experience you're looking for, then this place is great.<br/><br/>For starters we ordered the Chicken and shrimp Sumai and the seaweed salad. The Sumai were essentially steamed dumplings and they were excellent. My only gripe is that there is no dipping sauce, and you are expected to use the fiery hot chili sauce or the soy sauce on the table. The salad was crisp and bursting with flavor.<br/><br/>For the main course we tried the popular Dan Dan noodles, which were spiced noodles and a hearty beef noodle soup which was also extremely flavorful.<br/><br/>We also ordered the garlic egg fried rice and a steamed chicken dish. I ordered from panda bao bao through Zomato and even though it was supposed to arrive within 34- 45 min it arrived in 55 min or even more. I was very disappointed with the food. I’ve eaten at the establishment twice. But their take away service was terrible. They didn’t even put soy sauce or anything. I might consider going to panda bao bao again but never ordering.

Given the lack of more authentic Chinese eateries in Abu Dhabi, we were pretty excited to try this place. We ordered noodles, bao and chicken feet. For what it is, food is pretty decent. Also 5 star for free bubble tea.

First time customer here. The baos I ordered are very nice. I loved them! However, the spicy beef noodle is quite a disappointment. We paid 30AED for noodles with a single small cube of beef on it. I dont think we got our money’s worth on that one.

Ordered there Bobba Milk Tea and Red Bean Bao Today for a quick afternoon cravings. The Milk tea is in generous jar. Not too sweet but it is definitely delicious. The Bobba are chewy and plenty. The Red Bean bao are with a light, fluffy boa bun, still steamy hot. The Red Bean filling has few pieces of peanuts and it is with right balance of sweetness, it smooth and yeah very delicious. I recommend these pairing for your future craving. 😋

Having lived in China for more than 5 years before moving here, I really appreciate authentic Chinese food. This is proper southwestern Chinese flavor and style. I personally recommend the Dan Dan noodles as well as the Sichuan red chili oil chicken. Great prices as well, especially during Ramadan!

Promised delivery time is 35-45 minutes but food arrived nearly 2 hours after. <br/><br/>Information was also not truthfully given when I followed up the order. I was promised delivery in 10-12 minutes but 30 minutes after, I still waited and had to follow up several times and request cancellation of my order before food arrived.<br/><br/>Order only if you have the time (and patience) to wait.

Terrible service from zomato, and communication with the restaurant. Ordered food at 8.51pm, scheduled delivery time of 9.51pm, food order came to 120dhs and arrived at 10.35pm. Despite numerous back and forth on zomato chat they offered 28dhs zomato credit, what a joke. When I rang the restaurant they told me that zomato didn't have any drivers so had sent the food out with their own driver along with other people's' orders, absolute shambles.

First of all, the restaurant needs to do something to increase visibility!! Not very easy to find in traffic.<br/><br/>While the photos on zomato look very appealing, the ambience did not promise much once we reached there. The staff find it difficult to speak in English, which means they probably prefer serving to specific clientele.<br/><br/>The food is average at best, maybe due to mis communication the staff did not understand what we wanted. While we requested spicy food- we received suggestion for cold noodles.<br/><br/>Finally gave up and settled for pan fried dimsums and beef fried rice.<br/>The dimsums lack in flavour and the dough was too thick.<br/>It was pan fried to perfection though and had a nice crisp layer on the bottom.<br/><br/>The beef fried rice was a confusion. We liked everthibg except for the beef! It has a distinctive flavour, but too much of vegetables and what I assume not so fresh beef ruined the entire experience for me (the over use of vegetable is a personal opinion).<br/><br/>The menu here is promising, if the restaurant could just focus more on improving its visibility and communication skills.. and use fresh beef (could've been an off day) - i would be ordering beef fried rice everyday!

Spicy fried noodles are way too hot - to the extent that you can barely taste the flavor of the noodles. We’re so happy to have stumbled across this place because Abu Dhabi’s Chinese cuisine seems lacking in the authenticity department. 🇨🇳 Panda Bao Bao is legit as they come. Its owner, staff and recipes come straight from the Far East.Because it’s authentic Chinese, the flavors are bolder than what many are used to. 💪 Get ready for a spicy kick in your main course and a savory touch to your dessert. The chonqing noodle is the self-evident blend of flavor wedged between two chopsticks. The black fungus salad is heftier than it looks, largely thanks to its sesame marinade. The bao bao were perfect— a mild taste that’s complemented by the punchy dip that comes with it. The egg roll puffs were our favorite. So sweet and squishy! We were surprised to hear that part of the ingredients included salted duck egg! 🦆 We’d never have guessed given how mild and sweet they are.

Every time I try Panda Bao Bao delivery, the more disappointed I am. The food is okay, but the delivery is always late. When you order from this place, do so at least 2 hours in advance, because that’s how long I’ve had to wait for food to arrive once. Other times, it’s a 1.5 hour wait. There is no better Chinese food around, so I still order sometimes, but recently I’ve been so frustrated w my delivery experiences that I’ve stopped completely. Zomato has been really helpful though, and would help me call the restaurant to ask for updates and also have compensated me with 12 aed in my Zomato wallet every time the order is unacceptably late (over 1 hour hours from the expected time.) The service is also meh, because they sometimes can’t be bothered to walk to my apartment building and just expect me to go down to the drive way to pick it up- when they’re already crazily late, which really diminishes any satisfaction I can get from eating the food. Stay away if you expect your food to be on time!

I was just passing by, walking to my home in al wahda area when I noticed this small restaurant. Tried one of the best sellers and it’s a hit for me. I can only try one since I just came from dinner with friends and i am still full, but just curious about this place. I’ll definitely comeback to try more.

I tried the food here when they were newly opened and the food was not memorable so I did not even write a review.<br/><br/>My friend invited me to get Milk Tea here so I decided that a "redemption" round was in order since this place was really cute.<br/><br/>And I was not disappointed.<br/><br/>The Milk Tea I ordered was without the pearls so it was not that sweet but for me, the level of mild sweetness is just fine. I also love their cup packaging because it can be recycled. Overall I recommend the tea, it is creamy and refreshing.<br/><br/>We also ordered 2 items as snacks.<br/><br/>The Chicken and Shrimp Soup bao aka Xiao long Bao was the bao I was dreaming of. Previously when they first opened, the soup bao I ordered was soupless and bland but this baby was an improvement. Broth was seasoned lightly but I was wishing there was more of it. The chicken was tender and shrimp was fresh as was the ginger taste. Dough was okay as well. A vast improvement really.<br/><br/>Golden Egg Sauce Bao ( I like to call it a custard bao) still tasted good as the first time I ate it with gusto. Flavor was reminiscent of a salted egg but replace the salty taste with sweet creaminess + an orange fluffy dough.<br/><br/>I have no complaints with their cute decor and utensils but I guess the issue would be their table capacity. It’s very sad to say that besides the very good food they always fail on follow our instructions. For 2 times I’ve ordered the shrimp noodle and came with chicken however it does not say this on the menu description. They also failed in removing the vegetables from the chicken noodle that my husband ordered. So, if you have no problem at all with a dish full of surprises, you can order from them. But if like me you like to have what you order and also having your instructions being followed its better to order from another place. Very shameful, as the food really tastes very good!

Small little place on Airport Road near Wahda Mall with cool exterior and a very small interior with just a few tables.<br/><br/>It's a mom and pop affair with a menu focussed mainly on the Ban, Noodles, Fried Rice and some vegetable items.<br/><br/>We got the Chong Quing Noodles the Dan Dan Noodles and their Spicy Beef Fried Rice.<br/><br/>The noodles were really nice and the fried rice was very good.<br/><br/>I feel they should add a few beef and chicken items to the menu to compliment the Fried Rice options.<br/><br/>Service is a bit haphazard and they could be a bit more friendly.<br/><br/>Also the listing on Zomato says they accept credit cards which turned out to be false. I don't even like Chinese cuisine that much. But this place has addictively good Chinese food. Thanks to Sweatha Monichen for taking me to this gem of a place. The food is delicious and it feels homely. Red chilly oil wonton and garlic egg fried rice were just spectacular. I didn't really like the Pan Fried Bao though but hey! I don't like chinese 😂.<br/><br/>Also, a good value for money.

The best Chinese fast food in Abu Dhabi. Bao Dim sums are delicious!!! Delivery is very quick but the only thing to improve is the place itself as it is kind of old and with very few chairs and tables.

For my love for noodle soup, ordered the beef noodle soup, order came on time. Looked and smelled great with all the toppings. However didn’t taste great. Noodles was good however the broth was very oily and had a pungent smell of the oil and which was hitting me in the throat. Hardly any beef pieces in it. Couldn’t eat much of it.

Wow! Tasty, fresh, homemade! Everything we ordered was delicious. For the starter we ordered chicken and shrimp bao bao very generous quantity fresh and piping hot. Then we had wonton noudles soup yum! Handpulled noodles flavoursome and I asked for it to be spicy which was perfect me and we also ordered beed salad that was good too! All in all the place felt like I am eating in someone’s home very laid back and authentic and tiny! Loved it and will return for some more 👏

I had recently ordered their chicken and shrimp steamed dumpling 🥟 online... i found it just about average.. the flavour was jus blank.. their didnt even provide any type of additional sauces, unlike other restaurents...

So my wife's been waning to try out this place for a while now. And it did not disappoint. We got the steamed beef bao. The chicken pan fried bao. And the Chong Qing noodles. All were ordered for take away. Great flavours on all. Though the noodles and the beef bao topped the chicken. Definitely give this cute little restaurant a try.<br/>I will be going back to try other stuff on the menu very soon.

A tiny great spot to enjoying a truly Chinese spot , only few seater and they made everything fresh as soon we order they start rollin the dough of bao and xiao long bao , we ordered dandan noodle ( nutty noodles with some pok choy , veggies but I felt they put too much msg 😂 gotta numb my tongue for a while) steamed chicken feet with fermented soya beans and peanut which reminds me of home 😭, xiao long bao (steamed dumplings with soup ) , golden yolk bun (must try , its melted salted egg yolk with touch of sweetness from carrot , ugh heaven!), Chinese doughnuts (another fav!) , and last their special pan fried bao with some nets of scallion and crispy things and served upside down ! Everything was perfect and hope they got bigger place to accommodate the customers!

Panda Bao Bao has won my heart for all the right reasons with their food! ❤️ Stubbled upon this place by chance while heading to another restaurant nearby but I've been going back ever since. Their Chong Qing noodle is my favorite of their menu and it's absolutely comforting 🥰 the noodles are so soft and not heavy at all. Portion sizes are great for sharing too. The pan fried chicken and shrimp baos were amazing along with the chilli sauce served on it's side and I'd recommend trying them! Beef fried rice was also really good. I can't pick anything negative.<br/>I love how consistent they are with their flavours every time I've visited. It is indeed a hidden gem in the city ❤️and I'm soo glad I found them out. The place has a very cute ambience with only very few seating but it's already catching up with a lot of people from different backgrounds as I can see and full over the weekends. I'd suggest going there for early dinners if you plan a visit.<br/>Nevertheless great job guys! Keep up the amazing work! 😁🙌

Have ordered from this shop multiple times for it’s authentic Chinese delicacies,好吃 with a very good service！My only problem :) is with the sauce on take away 请问 provide a packet that doesn’t leak.

Timely delivery and great food - what more is there to say. The chilly wontons are my go to dish - plump wontons, Awsome soup with the right heat and mix of veg and peanuts - give them a try

A great little place that delivers some very authentic dishes. The boas are lovely and the homemade noodles and the Chinese mushroom<br/>Salad is really nice.

Chicken and shrimp bao And the chicken and shrimp sumai are both the same except that one is inside a bun and the other is wrapped like how siomais are done. Better to buy the one on buns. Chong Qing noodle was good though since it was done spicy but not much meat. If youre buying this it would mostly be for the soup and noodles only. Overall, good to have as comfort food.

Order delivered 30 minutes after the promised delivery time on Zomato. Restaurant was unresponsive, they wouldn’t pick up my phone. Food quality was not worth the money I spent. Soya sauce had leaked over rest of the food

This place is so cute with all panda ornaments everywhere and even the crockeries have panda designs. We ordered chicken and shrimp sumai and chong qing noodle. They serve big size Sumai which is good for 3-4 bites maybe. One serving is 6pcs and good for sharing. The flavor is good and the texture is nice as well. Though i dont like the taste of the noodle. It has after taste that lingers in the mouth even if you drink loads of water! Maybe ill try different noodle next time instead. Serving takes a while, the guy who serves bring one piece fo crockery at a time. And they cannot serve both orders in one go. You can finish the first dish that was served before the other order comes. Timing and dispatch of food needs improvement though. Another set back is that you need to bring cash as they dont accept card payment.

Food is so good and yummy as usual but I asked for extra utensils and ONLY get one chopsticks! How am I suppose to share with friends outside the house with one only? And the vinegar was upside the one & leaked all over the bag. Please secure the sauce properly

This small and unassuming place was amazing! The boa was SO YUM! Excellent Chong quig noodles! Very good cost - and bok Choi so good even your kids will eat it!

The order came very late!! I ordered shrimp and chicken soup bao bao, but it was not tasty at all. I was expecting an Asian/Chinese taste, but no. I also had the chicken porridge which was okay.

The Red Chilli Oil Wontons were really flavourful and spicy. The Chong Qing noodles was lovely but could do with more chicken. That's aside it was a flavourful experience.

Delivery came 2 hours after the food was initially ordered (1 hour later than expected). I had to ask for a discount on our meal for the delay as none was offered. The food that arrived was not our order and was sent back with the driver and exchanged. More time wasted. As expected, our food was not warm when it finally did arrive and while the garlic broccoli was still tasty, the Bao Baos did not live up to snuff. Nothing about our order went as planned and we were pretty unsatisfied overall. Will not be ordering from here again.

Highly recommend the Prawns fried rice as it’s tasty and has lots of varied ingredients <br/>Beef Noodles was good but sadly very very little minced beef ... equivalent to a tablespoon of meat to a bowl of noodles hence It felt like I was eating lots of noodles in a tasty broth. <br/>

Both times I’ve ordered, delivery took much longer than estimated. In this latest order, it was an hour late (so food came 2 hours since I placed my order), which inevitably affects food quality. They also did not have the custard bun but did not update the app so replaced my order with a red bean bun. The food reminds me of home (Singapore) which is the only reason I continue to patronise this place. Hope they sort out their logistics issues soon, I’d really like to see them succeed.

Who doesn’t love Pandas? Even if Pandas have under eye circles we don’t want to earn, their cuteness isn’t limited to Korean beauty products but as a business image. Panda Bao Bao is a small space with six tables which accommodates around 16 persons. Fresh Soya Bean Milk for 8 AED. The fresh soya was served after 15 minutes (maybe more than that) and what my friend Liya expected is a cold drink. The delay is a valid excuse because of this adorable cup and a fresh hot healthy drink.

All is good, however, there were only 3 sweet baos instead of 6 that were listed in the menu!

I love dim sums and am willing to go quite out of my way for good ones. My search for good dim sums took me to Panda bao bao last weekend. The place is smaller than you expect with only 4 tables. The server is polite but may sometimes have trouble understanding English, however it is the food that’s really the winner. The pan fried bao are really the best I have tasted, while I loved the vegetarian version my husband preferred the chicken ones. The egg and garlic fried rice also met our approval and was polished off in no time. The chicken and shrimp shuimai was also good but I have to say I preferred the softness and crunchiness of the pan fried baos. The chonquing noodles are unique and while may not appeal to everyone, will be liked by spice loving authentic palates. Parking is an issue as is getting a table.

The food is nice, however the order was 35 min late!

This is the first time in UAE I've had such authentic Chinese food, the Chongqing noodles is amazing! The shop is small but cozy, the waiting staff was very friendly. They even sell their homemade chili oil in jars, I was so tempted to buy one home!<br/>You can tell they've also spent quite some effort on branding and decor. Last time we went, the wall had tiny little panda chopstick holders all over.

Decent authentic Chinese food. Enjoyed the fried rice, vegetables and steamed dumplings. The chicken and corn soup could have been seasoned more as well as being a bit thicker. But it was still delicious. Keep it up.

Never order from this restaurant. We ordered at 8pm and at 10pm the order still didnt come. The reason given was because there were busy. If your restaurant cannot handle then dont accept orders!!!! Very bad experience!
