If someone wants to understand Modern Indian Food, he/she have to follow the diverse culinary influences and history of invasions in India. North Indian cuisine incorporated the best of Hindu-Rajput, Bania, and Kayastha communities as well as assimilated the Turko-Afghan and Persian-Mughal influences. Mughal dominated Indian Life for two centuries; their imperial patronage influenced the art of Cooking in India. Qorma-braised meats, curd-based gravies, slices and pieces of meats shallow fried on griddle provided India with creamy non-vegetarian curries, Kabas, and Kheema. The vibrant tradition of snacks and street food, most of them are vegetarian, is a moveable feast of tangy savouries to food scavengers and courtesy of Mughals from 12th Century.
I've eaten here a few times over the past year, right from when they were newly opened to about as recently as last week. Every time that I've been there, the food has been decent (not outstanding, but not average at all either). The service levels seem to have dropped slightly the last time I went there. Perhaps staffing & retention issues. The place is small & cozy. The table lamps in the evening set the place aglow. Not sure why they went into a tablet menu, it's not programmed well. A good old paper menu would suffice for a place like that.

Have become one of my favourite Indian restaurants due to it's wonderful service, ambience and food. Can be one of those places where you can enjoy a wonderful Indian cuisine.

Loved this place! The food was yum and the ambience was really good too! I liked all the dishes except the pani puri which didnt taste so good :/ Recommend trying this place!

Fine dining Indian restaurant.i visit yesterday I order dal makhani and Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani.its too amazing and tasty and staff is also friendly . thanks for Curry Mahal restaurant.
Have been hearing alot about this place but could never make it, so today we decided to order in.
We went for the paneer kurchan and masaledar subz. Wow! The food was exceptionally good with great portion size! The service was excellent too, food delivered 15 mins before delivery time.
Will be visiting the restaurant the next time!

Awesome food. Not too oily and superbly packed. The tandoori chicken biriyani, chicken tikka, butter chicken were all brilliant. The accompaniments were nice. Would highly recommend.
This was our first experience in Curry Mahal and we were really happy and satisfied with the food, service and ambience. We ordered 2 main courses - Chicken Tikka biryani - was excellent as unlike most biryani’s it was not heavily spiced. The rice was soft and fluffy and just the right amount of gravy on the chicken tikka. The Pepper Lamb Chop was deliciously spiced in a mild gravy and the meat cooked to perfection. It goes very well with naan bread. We are definitely returning back to Curry Mahal soon!
Nice food and nice restaurant in, abu Dhabi al nahyan camp. Its indian newely restaurant famous in indian authentic curries. Especially butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. I will aslo recommended to others go and enjoy curry mahal restaurant.
I order online chicken combo it was combination of 5 to 6 items ,starter, main course, and sweets, the price is very good as compared to combo, and also the food is very testy and delicious. I will order again definitely .thanks curry mahal
It is new indian restaurant located in al nahyan camp oppositive maroor road abu dhabi. Excellent interior decoration just like a indian raja mahal.And also food is pure prepared indian authentic spice.I tried chicken tikka masala it was very nice and aroma of indian spices.thanks curry mahal.

One of the fabulous Indian restaurant in Abu Dhabi located in al Nahyan camp.i visited this restaurant few times food and service is very excellent .the food is originally making in Indian spices.i mostly eat tandoori especially non veg platter this was the combination of 5 to 6 items .that was nice and delicious with the Indian spices.thanks curry mahal restaurant staff and service.Defiantly i will visit again.

Ordered Tandoori Chicken, Smoke grilled Paneer, Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani etc. Tandoori, Paneer were good. Chicken biryani was disappointing. Overall a decent experience though doesn’t seem to be worth the cost.
One of the best Indian authentic restaurant in Abu dhabi.the food and drinks is very amazing taste especially thalis and desi lassi and also staff and services is very attractive the design of restaurant is very excellent.

Being a vegetarian, as a first choice ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and Daal Makhni with Laccha Paranth and Garlic Naan, trust me taste was outstanding!
They try to create a good aura by serving a welcome drink and swirl pappads.

Absolutely amazing food!! Extremely well packed! A meal like this at 25 aed is a dream! It was amazing, tasty and on time delivery! The chicken tikka was really really good. Their is nothing that i can write negative about this experience. Can’t wait to order more
Since I was under the weather dear husband took the opportunity to order something for me. He ordered their regular veg thali which is for 25 aed including tax and delivery. It had paneer starter, papad, raita, achaar, roti, dal, Paneer makhani, one of the veg curries which was really yum, rice and one starter basically it was suppose to be chawal ki kheer but it tasted more like rice in curd with sugar. Paneer starter wasn't that great since it didn't taste nice probably because of delivery time but rest everything was just great and worth the money. Reason for 4 star is because though I said it's worth the money for 25 aed however they need to look at the fact that it's Abu Dhabi and not Dubai and many good places offer now food within range of 20 aed.

great ambience, quite n cozy plc.. super deliciuos food. awesome presentation. quality is also jst good. only the breads need to improve. Also the prices are high compared to others in town. but worth visiting for sure..
Ordered their butter chicken & 2 naans (garlic and butter) online. While the butter chicken was good, not so were their naans. Both thin & chewy, the garlic naan was under cooked. Delivery was on-time.

I went before Zomato was activated thus no photos! The place had excellent ambiance and very good service... The waiter was very nice and polite and recommended the lamb shank which was cooked to perfection and the sauce was great! The prices are similar to other medium range indian restaurants in Abu Dhabi, not your cheap outing but not hotel expensive! Will go again for sure!

This amazing restaurant is located in Al Nahyan area. We tried their Dal Makhini was full of aromatic flavour and delicious 😋. Our server was very helpful and friendly.
While entering in the restaurant, they greeted us with smile and offered us comfortable seating.
They served us a welcome drink 🍷 which was rose flavoured water and papad complimentary.
Restaurant is small but it’s look beautiful in the night .

We ordered samudri khazana (jumbo prawns with caviar in a foam chutney), butter chicken and mutton biryani.
The food was delicious.
Followed by a magical dessert platter.
