Why the food is not upto mark like before. We ordered biryani which was not impressive. Palak paneer has no taste and the paneer pieces were few to name it palak panner the paneer was super hard and felt stale and dry

Have always been a fan of their biryani, but recently the standard has gone down. Ordered chicken biryani and it was tasteless. Just a lot of color without any real touch of masala or taste of biryani. Although fish and Karahi was ok, but am very very disappointed with the Biryani.

Biryani Mahal Restaurant <br/><br/>This review is for a collection order. <br/><br/>I was looking for some authentic delicious Pakistani food and came across Biryani Mahal Restaurant. <br/><br/>I checked the reviews and everyone seemed to love the taste of the desi food. I placed my order on Zomato for a collection. Ordered the BBQ Platter. Chicken 65 Biryani. Nihari. Chicken Haleem. BBQ Dum Biryani. <br/>For dessert I choose the kheer. <br/><br/>BBQ Platter- 2 Seekh Kebabs. 2 Reshmi Kebabs. 1 Chicken Malai Boti. 2 Bihari Kebabs. 1 Naan. 1 Can of Coke. Served with three different types of sauces. Kebabs were melt in your mouth and less spicy. <br/><br/>BBQ Dum Biryani- Large portions of rice with kebabs, salad and Raita. Also came with a small serving of Zarda. <br/><br/>Chicken Haleem and Nehari were both tasty, but not spicy enough. My favorite is definitely the Kheer. I am more of a chocolate cake type but this kheer was good 😋<br/><br/>They are open for dine in. <br/>Seating area is located upstairs. <br/>Very friendly and polite staff. <br/>Currently there is a lot of roadblocks in the area. I wasn’t able to find the restaurant and the staff were very kind enough to come outside and wave 👋 <br/>Paid parking space is available. <br/><br/><br/>

Order mutton biryani didn’t like the taste it super spicy as if you have dipped rice in chilly sauce mutton was stinky.<br/>But their kheer was delicious and worth money loved the timely deliver but please improve your take away biryani 🙏🏻

Biryani was not good....taste less very bad

These guys are making fool of Biryani and people. Who on earth puts potato instead of chicken in CHICKEN BIRYANi!! Very disappointed, have lost all faith!

The BBQ biryani and the mixed platter was ok only. The tikkas/botis were too sour and chewy for our taste. Roghni nun and zarda rice was fine. Packaging was good. Price was justified with zomato offer.

Ordered meal 11 and tikka biryani.<br/>Paneer masala was the best we have eaten anywhere. Biryani was good again as this was my 2nd order. While veg kadhai was too spicy, so a no go next time.<br/>Big portion and food delivery was super fast.

First time I experience this with the restaurant the paneer taste horrible as of it had mold in it , it smelled disgusting I couldn’t even eat the paneer , very disappointed.. <br/>

I order white mutton and ask to add butter and give extra raita on the side but I received only white mutton without butter when drlivery reached I ashed have raita or not he said he don't know I say you pickup the order you not check what you pickup he say its not his responsibility to check what ever they give I bring it to you

This is one of the most delicious chicken biryani I tried. It is also very cheap and good amount that would make you full. What make this unique is the potato that comes with the rice. It is also spicy. I recommend it.

Excellent taste...ate biryani after a long time

Ordered the chicken 65 biryani today. Utter disappointment as the biryani had few shredded pieces of chicken only. Delivering a decent meal shouldn't be a task when it comes at AED 19/- Trust me guys you definitely want to skip this restaurant as it's a total waste. Felt like left over chicken was shredded over some masala/coloured rice.

Today we ordered Nihari and seekh kabab, first time we ordered nihari and it was very nice. I am happy we have nice nihari in Abu Dhabi, kabab was nice as well. All food are proper packed. I will order again.

Single egg in egg biryani.. Biryani Rice ia not well cooked.. not going to order again from this restaurant.

So its the same student biryani staff and management only the franchise changed. The biryani is good but their haleem is much better in comparison, Naan usually get cold and rough during the delivery but I think thats ok and most important they have good online delivery system.

Ordered chicken biryani and they pit boiled potato inside the biryani and there was not a piece of chicken.

I had ordered chicken meal combination and chicken biryani. Chicken Kadhai from the meal combo was just fabulous. Amazing taste and everything was great.<br/><br/>When it comes to chicken biryani. A big no. No taste nothing near to a dum biryani so I didn't like it at all.<br/><br/>Other than biryani I recommend food lovers to check on meal combo. Food was delivered on time and it was awesome.

Biriyani and the chicken with potato was well cooked. Lassi too was great even though served me salted one which I don’t prefer. Plus the staff came to teach me I have given that order to save his head(decently told). But the biriyani was awesome. Ambiance was up to mark.

This place was formally known as student byrani we came to know when we ordered it came with sudent byrani packings, loved their haleem and nan while byrani is so so now, once very good. Overall food experience fluctuate taste wise.

This is Student Biriyani under a new name with virtually the same menu. However, it seems now the portion is less and the quality is hit and miss. I usually order the Chicken 65 biriyani, daal, and paneer dishes. However, especially the 65 biriyani has gone down hill alot. Sometimes it is good, but sometimes the quantity is less, and only a few pieces of 65 chicken mixed with normal chicken. Not very appealing. I don't know if the management is the same or different, but they need to go back to their old way of doing things when they were Student Biriyani.

Whenever we look for good biryani we order from here. The best biryani both veg and non veg. Presentation wise also great. Food service is fast and taste wise it is awesome.<br/><br/>The gravy dishes are good here.

We love biryani mahal... always accommodates our orders and food is tasty. But one problem I have faced recently in the garlic roll is that it seems stale . And also pls add more roll flavors

Ordered Mutton biryani and it was FABOLOUS. Everything was perfect but the serving was a not much as I have a large appetite. Overall the experience was very nice. (took a parcel).

Seen days when this restaurant use to get 4 stars but as the story goes for most of the stand alone restaurants in UAE the consistency of taste, quality and services goes through turmoils every now and then.<br/>Chicken handi is my favourite from here - just cant stop nagging about chewiness of meat, but still if you crave for Pakistani/North Indian style chicken curry this is perhaps the best match available in this price range category.<br/>palak paneer - all good about palak but paneer is ought to be more soft, again something to do with the quality and consistency of ingredients.

While I was pleasantly impressed with the quick delivery and great tasting food initially; having found an aunthentic biriyani restaurant serving vegterian fare in abu dhabi. However, the great dining experience was totally destroyed by discovering presence of non veg pieces in the plain Biriyani rice.<br/><br/>For all vegeterians, please order wirh caution.

Ordered chicken briyani. Very very disappointing. There was a small chicken leg and the biryani was full of potatoes!!! Delivery was good and fast. The food is very bad. It’s really nauseating!!!

Seriously this people are teaching how the biryani is , 2-3 chicken pieces (size of my small finger ) and rice is 5 times the pieces in biryani —— hotel owner / manager its called by name CHICKEN BIRAYNI means 30% proposta ete should be chicken pieces .... and u agree we put 2 small pieces <br/>U try birayni from differnt places of Abudhabi hotels in RITAJ BIRAYNI HOUSE HAVELI EVEN GO TO ARAB UDIPI OR ANJAPPAR .... they serve best and good than u

Cant ask for better then that. Its actually students biryani, re branded with cheaper prices and better taste. highest recommendation, specially chicken biryani, haleem and nihari.

4 stars for the very affordable price! Food was good, chicken was very very chewy and a bit annoying to eat! Rice had very delicious spices and taste but chicken was a bit on the daily side! Unbeatable price though.

Well this place is located near my pad ... so walked in and ate ... the food was fresh , delicious and could feel the flavors.. the haleem, mutton biryani and chicken salan was good ... !!!

This is the same place where Student Biryani used to be. They now operate as Biryani Mahal for whatever reason. The food and menu looks and tastes the same.<br/><br/>I have been here numerous times. My top pick here is the fish fry. Even for people who do not like fish as much, they like the fish fry here. Ordered from here for first time... Mutton biriyani and BBQ mix grill (regular)....<br/>To start with positives first... The grills were definitely good... Lamb and chicken kebabs, grills were too soft and also good on tastebuds....came with a big roti.. But it quickly turned hard and chewy...<br/>But the biriyani failed to meet our expectations.... The Mutton pieces were tiny and few and... It had too much masala.. The whole biryani was orange in color... I am okay with little bit of colored rice here and there.. But dousing the entire biriyani in food coloring is off putting.... In a real biriyani, the color of the rice should come from the masala and spices, not artificial food coloring... Please fix that one..for 20 aed I definitely expected more quality biriyani..<br/>Delivery charge was 5 aed... And delivery was super quick.

Pathetic chicken biryani. I ordered chicken biryani and what I got instead was aloo biryani. There was the smallest piece of chicken in the entire biryani. Extremely disappointing. The rice was overloaded with oil and masala only. They should call it aloo masala biryani instead.

I had ordered veg Biyani via Zomato offer and it was decent enough for a Friday afternoon. The veggies were fresh however the masala was very less. The taste can be improved.

I have ordered chicken Kadhai through online order. The order came fast. the taste was incredible. I recommend everybody to order it. Do not forget to order bread. It is nice experience.

Senseless staff they don’t have sense for food packaging. Order Chicken Biryani and they send biryani more than half of box was only Masala with white rice only.

The best biryani restaurant in abu dhabi with good amount of quantity. Value for money. I would definitely suggest you to try. Specially the chicken biryani and haleem is good as well.

Missed my lunch today at work due to some work and by the time we got free for lunch, cafeteria has almost nothing left. So, browsed through Zomato and found out that Biryani Mahal has an offer of 50% off on an entire menu. We ordered two chicken biryani, two raitas and two kheer. Chicken and Biryani Rice were well cooked and have a right amount of spice in it. Biryani has potatoes as well in it. Kheer was really really yummy 😋. After a long time, had a lovely kheer. It’s worth trying for sure.

The delivery was like speed of light. The portion is massive, I couldn’t eat 1/3 of it. The taste is outstanding also. I don’t usually eat rice and Indian food. I tried this one today and I think I’ll get to that more often. Recommended restaurant

Pathetic! Worst ever. If Zomato had minus star I wud have given that. Funniest part is we ordered green chicken masala and there comes paneer. And on top of this, they claim that it is chicken !!!rude staff, horrible food, never to go again.

I’m a lover of indian food and tried many restaurants across the city. This place is definitely one of the top, i had their chicken biryani and mutton biryani , it was delicious meal that left both me and my brother extremely satisfied, I highly recommend this place.

Their Haleem, nihari, mutton achaari splendidly fabulous. 😋😋😋 I never ate a biryani with potato in it , but these people have made a huge fan out of me now.
