It was a very good experience
We had a breakfast today at cafe bateel yas mall branch today .the French toast was fresh and perfect tatste served with chocolate syrup ,jam and cream it tasted amazing .
Bateel avacado toast was perfect too freshly made with perfect spices and sides .
Arabic coffee is served with dates and one of the best in uae .
The only thing was the service was slow .
Always good food and great menu with choices for everyone. Lovely staff. Nice to sit outside in the sunshine.
My family and I have been at Cafe Bateel more than 20 times over the years (sometimes at Yas, sometime at Galleria) and it is always a pleasure. We are impressed by the food; the thoughtful presentation and the taste are just on point. We’ve enjoyed salads, soups, pastas, sandwiches, mains, desserts, pretty much the whole menu over the years. We’ve also enjoyed the coffee, tea, and mocktails. The kids are quite picky eaters but to Bateel they go without hesitations. Good job Bateel team!
The regular dishes we used to order. Though This time is not as good as before , we still like it. Hopefully they can give me more shrimp next time. Hahahaha.
Cafe Bateel is consistently good. Stopped by breakfast. Enjoyed my Eggs Royale and my wife her egg white with Kale. Coffee and breads here also amazing.
We ordered:
•Orange Juice: Nice.
•Black Coffee: Very tasty and the amount is generous.
•Pancake with dibs: Delicious.
•Avocado Toast: this was very yummy! With that twist of lemon. This is a must try.
•French Toast: fluffy and moist french toast! Best ever! You cannot feel the egg taste like in other places.
They also serve warm and crunchy variety of breads at the beginning which taste so good.
Well done for the great food and service. Highly recommended .
cafe bateel is my favorite cafe in yas mall... and the staff are always so nice regardless of what nationality they are hosting to...with the selection of food, coffee and deserts i must say that the money spend are so worth it!
One of the best places for breakfast, coffee and sweets in town. What i like about Bateel is that they always maintain the level of quality and service. Their seasonal menus are extremely good as well, they always come up with delicious dishes
This is one of my fave cafes in the UAE. The galleria is a great location as you can shop and stop for a sweet snack but also the staff here are lovely especially Jemmarie who is a 'gem' and very sweet. I love their pistachio and pecan pie slices which are very sweet and rich but really do satisfy a sugary craving!
Their halloumi and quinoa salad is also very good in terms of light meals. The only thing that I was not happy with was the fact that they put garlic in every single soup they have on the menu, I personally am not a fan of garlic and so not being able to have any soups was a bit of a downside for me. That is why I am giving the 4 stars but otherwise the service is very good and their desserts are to die for! The date shake is also very very good!
A fusion of traditional emarati and western culture cafe , love their dates’ items , their sandwiches are really good and their sticky toffee date pudding is delicious and a must try ! Love it
One of my absolute favorite restaurants ever! You can’t go wrong with Café Bateel! Their food is amazing and their seevice top 👌🏻. I have tried several branches in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and was not disappointed by one. Yesterday we had dinner with some friends and everyone loved what they were served 😋 I had the soup and the green bowl, in terms of flavor and freshness it couldn’t have been better. Keep it up!
Beautiful ambiance with a wonderful view..the service is a little slow but their food and coffee makes up for that..I tried the waffles this time and it was delicious...a nice place to come to chill and not the cliche places you expect at a mall...
Bateel Cafe surprise Chocolate Box by my Hubby. A beautiful Chocolate box of 8 peices chocolate. This box looks so elegant with the Golden shimmery texture and a see through plastic frame. There are 4 types of flavors - Cheese Cake White, Banoffee Milk Chocolate, Heart Praline Milk chocolate and last but not the least Strawberry Cheese Cake White chocolate in a cute Lil Heart shaped. You should try this chocolates. They are so rich and yummy. Still have the taste on my mind. Thanks Stephen George
Was here today for a breakfast all by myself.
I ordered a belgian waffle and a caffe dhibs. The coffee was really good with the date syrup in it. I have had many types of coffees in many places, but this was my first time trying one with any flavor of dates in it. And i have to admit, it was nothing short of heavenly. Absolutely loved it, so much so that it makes me wonder why so many other cafes miss out on it.
The waffle was also very nicely presented, and had the perfect amount of crispiness.
I also ended up buying an assorted tea bag pack, and a couple of assorted dates packs from their shop.
The staff was really friendly, professional and helpful, and the service was prompt.
One thing they might be missing out on is the affordability. It is a tad bit expensive than most other cafes, but I feel every penny is worth the experience. Had a great time here.
Had a great salad, very tasty, a lot of vegetables tasty. The tuna on the top tho wasn’t special, but ok. Will try another salad next time. My friend ordered the lamb and seems delicious.
Dates bread is so delicious!!! Ramadan meal was so good. Very healthy food. Also tried Bateel risotto, which was wonderful. Staff is always professional.
For me what let this branch down was the service; the staff aren't very friendly and inviting like the other branches. I tried it once and I don't think I 'll go there again. For sure the Bateel products are a stand out so I tried their pomegranate bottle juice and enjoyed every sip. Their Arabic coffee is my favorite and those dates served with it are just perfect.
The best Arabic saudi coffee you can have at a cafe ....
they have the best date cake with vanilla ice cream ...
the place is definitely not kids friendly
I wish they could start a delivery for nearby places! Bateel ismy favorite cafe..Almost all items are yummy and a must try..Would appreciate considering delivery on zomato
Mmmmmmmmmm what it had me saying when I took the first spoon👌🏾. Bateel sticky toffee pudding was just the right amount of sweetness in my opinion compared to other sticky toffee pudding I had tried. It is served with butterscotch reduction, tangy yoghurt Icecream and caramelized pecan nuts and I asked for caramel sauce on top 😋😋. If it didn't make me drool it wouldn't be here👅. #theefoodiemonster #cafebateel #abudhabi #yasmall #uae #abudhabifoodie #abudhabifoodbloggers
Went here for lunch on the weekend with a friend who highly recommended it and I wasn't disappointed. The service was Great, the waiter made sure to be always around when we needed him but not hovering over the table noticing. The watermelon feta salad was fresh and absolutely beautiful. The beef ragu tortelini which I ordered was divine, was missing some spice but then again I didn't ask for it. Just a bit of cracked black pepper on it and it was perfect. Unfortunately didn't get to try the desert but there is always next time!
الاكل ممتاز ولذيذ والمكان نظيف ،،،،،،
والخدمة جيده ...........
ولكن انزعجت من الانتظار والتأخير عند طلب الفاتورة
...........................
I tried halloumi quinoa is a must to try in this place
The grilled salmon is a good choice
Ending is always with kholas pecan pie which is super yummy
Service is not wow
One of the best cafes in town having very tasty coffees arabic and western, nice and a variety choices of teas, the atmosphere is really wonderful at Yas Mall
I ordered the brownie which came with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. I also ordered a peach ice tea. The brownie looked very unique compare to the typical brownies I've had in the past, it tasted rich in flavor and i loved the bits of walnuts and alomond inside ~(Not 100% what nuts were inside). The ice tea was nice and chilled :)
The location is not good; it would be better if it locates away from the restaurants. Anyways, It’s a nice place, full with customers (which is a good sign), and it has a kind of unique menu. I only tried the “date dessert” and the “Iced coffee”. The dessert was so delicious but the coffee was bad. I can drink any coffee no matters how bad! But that one was *%$#$&%*#$ I just couldn’t swallow; I’m sorry!
You know these places you always pass by but never think of trying, well that was cafe bateel until a friend suggested it!! As soon as you walk in two things hit you; the inviting aroma of arabic coffee and the fancyness of the place!! We ordered the date drink with was perfection and utterly refreshing(not gonna lie am in live with the bottle), i had a cappuccino and it picked me up...which was exactly what i needed! My friends had the chocolate cake, pistachio cake and arabic coffee. The way they serve you the coffee with the actual dela(pot) and the fongan(tiny arabic coffee cup) tells you how this place pays extra attention to details! Didn't get to try the desserts of off my friends but their faces spelled happiness, so definitely on my list to do next time am There!
Bateel cafè is amazing, and the place ? oh wow!
I would love to go to it again.
Its calm and beautiful, and the service there is good.
Try their rose water cake 😋!
Quite a nice cafe to dine in. Very empty during weekend. Service is good. Price is reasonable in term of cafe. Food taste are so-so, but not bad at all
Bateel quality of ingredients is not to be proven. Dishes are well cooked, and attention to the detail is part of their culture. We love their breads, their asparagus soup and their egg dishes. However, some mains could have a bit more character. Flavours are usually quite classic here. Maybe an extra kick in some dishes would make the menu even more attractive.
First of all, the atmosphere is lovely especially at night it's outdoor and relaxing .. The food portion and size is just enough for you
I tried the club sandwich and kept order it whenever I visit this place.. Very healthy and the most delicious one .. I also tried the pink sauce pasta and it was Great! .. Although the price is little bit high but it worth the taste in my opinion..
Lovely place!
I love sitting watching the fountains, in the sun, having a nice lunch.
Food was delicious and tasted fresh. Obviously made fresh as I asked for no olives in my chicken wrap and they were happy to do this.
A little much olive oil on my salad but that's ok.
No complaints really apart from I don't find the chairs comfortable to sit in but that's a personal preference!!
This café utilizes an exclusive range of authentic natural ingredients strategically sources from only the best producers from countryside. Their extra virgin olive oil is renowned for its low acidity and aromatic flavor. We love artisanal pastas yes indeed they are made from top quality hard durum wheat and spring water. You have to taste to feel the difference and it is so evident and audible. Reinterpretation of the Italian recipes was indeed a challenge very well accepted by the chefs at the restaurant. It is an utmost favorite eatery amongst the local Emiratis as well as constantly gaining it’s vivid factor and vibes about fresh and delicious food amongst expats too. We enjoyed the modification and refinement in modern taste, with a focus on healthy eating, sorry folks no chips, no junk eating and guess what it’s replaced with the very haute culinary sensitivities. @MahiBlog couldn’t have asked for more. Special thanks to Mr. Alaa and staff at venue for taking care of our appetite so well.
Waitstaff are relatively friendly and food is of good quality. I ordered the Bateel Shakshouka and an espresso con panna. Being super picky, the whip cream on my espresso had kind of sunken in, like it's been sitting for a while before reaching my table. All egg dishes come with bread and jams, which were also fairly good. The Shakshouka itself surprised me because it's boiled eggs in sauce as opposed to baked eggs. All in all, it was a good meal with a good view, but competing with all the other great restaurants at YAS, I don't know I'd eat here again anytime soon.
This branch of Café Bateel is trying to catch up with its sisters. Service seems to have improved since they first opened. Making the experience more positive.
They serve good soups and some of their breakfast items are interesting too. What I enjoy the most here is their fresh bread, their excellent olive oil and some of their cakes.
Cafe Bateel uses first class ingredients. Yet, maintaining an interesting menu can be challenging at times.
Nice place, quite and friendly staff.. we sat outside there with nice view for desserts and drinks, i didn't try the food there.. overall experience is good...
Pascal Trust In My Taste
+3.5
After reading all the positive reviews, and being a coffee lover i went to check it out. The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is calm and soothing, there was only one issue in the outdoor seating which is the smell... Surely not from the restaurant. The latte flavor did not impress me nor did the presentation. The complimentary dates they offer are absolutely delicious. The desert portion was fairly small and the ice cream was filled with walnut and was not something i liked. Yet i am sure many other will like it. A good experience all in all, yet for my money and time, will head to chilli's a step away for the sweet and grab a Jamaica blu cup of coffee while walking in the mall... Enjoy
Amazing... very good.. food is tasty.. nice.. friendly staff... nice place.. I lkke the Kahwa and cakes. just amazing.. a good place for a short break with family
