The only good thing you should go to this place for is seafood and more amazing seafood. Located close to the fish roundabout of UAQ, we looked for this place just for its seafood!
Don't expect any great interiors or plush seating. It's pretty basic; almost looks like a fisherman's home. The whole restaurant smells of seaside fishy smell. We had the Grilled Seabream (which sounded to us like Supreme 😅) and grilled prawns. Both the grills were perfect! The service is decent.
Best thing to enjoy this great food is to either get the food as takeaway or sit in the common area instead of family one. Neither of it matters the fish taste anyway!

The restaurant has it all from the taste, to the presentation and ending by the environment and the place.. everything is mastered by the Emarati touch..
I can say that this place have all what need for a successful traditional Emarati cuisine.. from the flavor to the traditional setting of the restaurant..
I just would like to note that the prices are little pet high, comparing the portion served.

Most people in dubai have no idea this restaurant exists. Well surely a handful of seafood lovers must have surely found their way into this hidden gem.
Located in Umm al Quwain near the fish market area, this place is open mostly until 4am everyday !!
This is by far the best seafood place I have been to in UAE. I am sure there are plenty more options in dubai itself, but Wadi al Neel has its own charm of Emirati tradition. It's always packed with Locals, young and old.
Their menu items are mostly traditional Emirati seafood.
The most ordered item is Jasheed (in desi style u just ask for Shark keema). It tastes very much like Tuna!! The best way to eat Jasheed is with white rice and ghee. The ghee is served separately in a small bowl, so feel free to add as per your liking. Along with this we usually order grilled/fried prawns and squids along with a big grilled fish. (Opting from Hammour, Sheri and many more local fishes)
The ambience is very traditional and the staff working are always quick and helpful.
Go here if you like long drives and seafood!!!
Good place to eat grilled fish. It has a nostalgic ambiance of an old traditional era. Prices are affordable and worth it. Don't forget to taste their delicious seafood soup.

Great place to have local seafood cuisine. Seating and ambience is really traditional, it's not a bad drive if you're in Dubai so if you're in the mood for local seafood dishes for lunch Wadi Al Neel is the place for you.
