This is the charcoal chicken what I ordered. They used to be good at times but i guess no more. Average food. Poor delivery. Ok cost. 2 out 5 from my end.

Yesterday I had placed an ordered for chili chicken dry and chicken curry. The chili chicken was no where tasting like Chinese. The chicken gravy was tasting as if they have altered for ketchup.<br/> It was evident from both the dishes that the chicken pieces are are same but they add it on the gravy you ask for. <br/><br/> Only their shawarma are good. The quantity is also very less for the price they charge. Kerala parota was very dry,

Love their karak chai, it's very similar to filli and is just 1 dirhams for a small cup. Hoping to try more stuff from their menu. Delivery service is also pretty good.

Late delivery and I ordered green chilly chicken charcoal , in which instead of marinating chicken with green chilli , they just added whole green chillis at the sides of normal chicken charcoal which was also just ok ok . Not recommended. food basket , u hav to improve a lot .

I was introduced to this place by a friend. The very first dish I ate from here was Charcoal chicken and I became a fan of it ..cooked very well and has a smoky flavour to it

I have ordered many times from this place. They add two much black pepper in their wrap and burger patty. Their food is average! Also their delivery is not on time.

After a little confusion over the reservation we were very relieved that there was a table for us. All the dishes were fantastic with very fresh ingredients and amazing taste combinations.

I am very unhappy with Food Basket. It’s my first time to order and also first time to order online in Zomato. My order was sent by Zomato to Food Basket at 12:42pm and Food Basket received it in less than a minute. As per the message of accepting the order, it states that my order will be delivered at 1:22pm. At 1:20pm, I received another message saying that my order is on it’s way. I waited, and waited. At 1:55 pm, I decided to call the Cafeteria and was informed that my order will be delivered in 15 minutes. It’s 2:45pm and my order still did not arrive. I called to cancel and I will never order online in this cafeteria again. I wasted my break time for nothing.

I've been coming here for mid week dinners and special occasions alike since food basket opened long ago, and it is always fantastic. Do bear in mind you can't book unless you're a group bigger than 5+, and it's busy, all the time!

Ordered a Fish Biryani online and the food got really late. It was way past lunch time. <br/><br/>The Biryani was okay. There was a thin slice of fried king fish with lots of onion masala. The rice was soft and fresh. <br/><br/>I have tried their Shawerma sometime back and they were okay.

I ordered Zinker combo and it was more like a chicken burger which tasted okaish.. <br/>size of the burger was also below average. <br/>it was more like a home made burger

A few days ago I saw some reviews regarding this place being told that the food here isn't good and all. I have lived in Al Tawun for a while and to be honest, the food here is really good as per its price. You can come at 2 in the midnight and the staff here will greet you with politeness. Not forgetting to mention, they have really good Chilly chicken and do have them with the parathas that they serve fresh !

Pathetic service...Unfriendly staff..noone bothered to attend for 5 mins....Ordered 2 shawarma took more then 20 mins to get the order...Taste wasn't great....served in wet plates...Overall bad experience...won't recommend...

The spicy grilled chicken is really worth to have. The chicken served was tender and fresh so it felt more delicious and worthy. A must try..

Very bad chicken gravy which was not cooked properly and wrong order bought instead of onion rings patato rings were delivered, the only good thing is charcoal chicken.

It's a great spot in al Tawun area. I was always satisfied with the food here and the management. My favorite is their Chinese and charcoal items! The green chili charcoal is a must try! The management makes sure to always make the customers feel like home! Foodbasket has always left a smile on my face. And I hope it always continues to do! kudos guys! PS-it's cheap and best!

I moved to Al Taawun and was excited to find a 24 hours restaurant. My excitement didn't last very long. THEY NEVER HAVE ANYTHING. Whatever you call for is never available. Called for breakfast at 10a.m and they said it was over...what does that even mean. I can't understand how they can operate a restaurant 24 hours and run out of breakfast in the morning!

The worst possible food with the worst possible delivery service you'd find in Sharjah or dubai..anyone who wants food and sees this place just go to a grocery and get a packet of chips and water as it would be any day better. Ever had shawarma with mayonnaise filled in it. Yes that's what they give

I live near this place and they deliver super quick. The food is great I recommend chicken charcoal it tastes great. And as for drinks I would recommend Abood. I have never dined in the restaurant but seen it and it looks okay. Food is the main thing so it taste good

The Best restaurant in al taawun sharjah. Good value for money . I recommend to try the Chicke charcoal ! And more over the restaurant runs 24 hours .👍✌👈

yesterday i just stopped by food basket . ordered for a butter chicken and parathas, the new space outside was so cozy, plus their new cappuccino was soo perfect. the only shop in uae where i can have both cappuccino and a  butter chicken..

On the day of 1st January. ... we were very hungry and wanted to take away bcz we were tired to to seat in the restaurant. We ordered one checken tikka and 1 veg noodles.... and gyu on counter sked to pay ..... and then they took 50 minut to give take away food ..guys 50 mnt .... b**shit ...i can cook in that much time ....and when the waiting i asked to return my money and the server was still telling to wait .... finally when we brought food at home and we startedto eat immediately. .....what we found in packed food was horrible. .......stone hard chicken and full of vinager noodles i endup with throwing food in garbage. .....really really bad .....<br/>Please do not go and waste your money and time..

One of the best restaurant it used to be and is now one of the worst restaurants I would say! They probably lost a customer who had been regular to them for more than 3 years! Management should seriously consider some basic training in terms of dealing customers bit more polite manner ! I got the wrong order more than two months! And the food was so pathetic! I have ordered Hot and sour soup..Worst experience, don't have clue what they provided!! Never order soup from here. However charcoal chicken was average comes with fries, hammous and bread.

The worst possible restaurant in the world i shud say. They can make every fud taste aweful. The only gud thing here is the tender coconut. They can even make chutney (with dosa) taste really bad. Never recommended!!

Nothing served in this cafeteria is special. You can get better-tasting food in other cafeterias around Taawun. The food whenever being delivered has taken a very long time. The pricing like any other cafeteria is very reasonable.

I live nearby , my husband spent years in India studying, so he is used to these joints , he do convince me to try some. <br/>Some items like sandwiches and burgers are tasty but the problem is the hygiene <br/>

We love their charcoal chicken which is really good. Their Mexican shawerma is the best according to my kids who have tried from other places. Their Chinese dishes are ok. The best part is that they are open 24hrs and the worst part is their delivery takes ages even though we live at a 5 minutes distance.

Cheap, affordable, nothing exclusive. It's only for people who can't or do not want to prepare food at home. The burgers are made with packed patty so don't expect too much.

Nice restaurant... had a late night good shawerma experience with friends... a must try chicken charcoal... it was just mouth watering with humus n Arabic bread. Even try out spicy chicken shawerma wrap n one of cheese chicken shawerma it's one of new kinds of shawerma available with them... want to try it again

Another quick delivery outlet in Sharjah border area. Loved thier Schezwan chicken Fried Rice. Just the right oil, spice and quantity. Can be had without any sides.<br/>The Beef chilly gravy was not that great. Beef was a little uncooked and chewy.<br/>Nothing to exciting here but just another outlet for ordering comfort food for quick delivery & reasonable price. Quality may vary from time to time

Not at all recommended. Food was bad - ordered chicken special biriyani and crispy beef - the special biriyani had nothing special in it nor the crispy beef was crispy..they served us chilly beef and claimed it was "crispy beef". Very unsatisfactory!

The service is very slow. It took us three calls and 2 hours to get out foot within some meters distance from the place. Biryani was good. Portion size and price were fine. The potato wedges were overcooked though. I don't think I would order again because of too much wait.

Great place for budget eating. Some of the waiters are dwarfs and its great to see a cafeteria giving a chance to such people earn a living. Besides that, food is decent,not extraordinary but good taste. Eat here very often..

I have come across many cafeterias with sub standard food, lack of proper hygiene, but not one which lacks all 3 elements combined.  Food basket is such a cafeteria, which has rude waiters who should be banned from the hospitality industry at the first opportunity.  Tables are left dirty for hours, even when they are habituated by new clients.<br/><br/>Our recent trip was 2 days back when nobody had the courtesy to take our order, which wasn't much apart from 2 bottles of water and tea.  After 30 minutes of seeing idle waiters, I went to the fridge myself, picked up the bottles, only to have someone ask me "yes can I help you".  I was busy talking to my friend and realised we wanted another bottle of water, when I asked the waiter who was watering the plants, to get me my order. To this he said "please go and do it yourself", Im busy.  Repeated complaints to the in charge didn't do any good either.  I'm never going to this place even for a bottle of water. Awful place, please stay away.

Excellent Shawerma that too the spicy one. Best combination of a juicy one and tasty.The normal is too normal and spicy is perfect blend.The hotel is good for take aways and a quick bite. I feel they coukd improve a lot in yerms of people and interiors and moe they will be nice .
