Tried this restaurant when I brought my daughter for the winter Camp at Sheraton. The food was really good. It’s just that everything was too heavy. Make sure to order less Incase you plan to visit. The location is just amazing at the beach side. You wouldn’t find a better view. It’s also located aside the pool. Overall totally recommend this place 👍👍

Brilliant beachside dining in a luxury beach resort - despite also serving poolside and to the beach chairs on a take-away/delivery basis, on the terrace the dishes were presented with class and sophistication at a silver service level of professional hospitality. Very impressed. The lunch was delightful and the service was excellent! Try the pineapple mocktail and enjoy the desserts.

Winter vacations for me means family plans and this year we planned to explore our own UAE, check out the best places for pools, kids activity and yes food too.<br/><br/>Myself and my friends with kids we went to explore Sharjah Sheraton . They have a day pool access pass , which includes the access to the infinity pool , beach , kids club area , kids pool and can use their services of spa and restaurants.<br/><br/>So we tried Al Qubtan for lunch , the place is amazing as it has beach view and out door seating I great for this winter . They also have indoor seating area with a semi open kitchen where you could see Chef Reinhard busy preparing dishes . <br/><br/>What all we had ?<br/><br/>We had their lemon mocktail which was good not too sour or sweet perfect refreshing with mint leaves , kids had the chocolate milkshake which I felt was a bomb.... milkshake with donut ,marshmallow and brownie.<br/><br/>Soups came up first seafood soup and vegetarian clear soup.<br/><br/>For salads the Cesar’s salad was good , beetroot salad wasn’t my Favourite , the mixed Avocado salad was fresh and nice to have .<br/><br/>The main courses were shrimps grilled to perfection, the fish and chips was the best to try .Crispy and soft Fish with great tartar sauce .<br/><br/>The sliders were perfect for kids to much in the other burger bun was little hard but the mushroom and the patty , sunny side up egg and the fired onions all made it up.<br/><br/>My vegetarian friend had ordered veg risotto which was very creamy , loaded with mushroom and cooked to perfection .<br/><br/>For desserts we had the mixed fruit platter , even though kids were not happy with that it was the best healthy choice , thankfully all the fruits were ripe and sweet .<br/><br/>Final verdict- amazing place to be for breakfast or lunch or dinner . Romantic spot in Shj . With buzzing sounds of the waves and the sea wind gives you total relaxation and energy. The staffs were great helped us and kids to be comfortable. The food was top class .

Everything was perfect until the bill came. I mean to eat see food costs 250 DHS per person is really not fair al all! Really liked the food and was extremely upset with the price.

One of the best restaurants in Sheraton al sharjah. I loved the food and the atmosphere, especially the shrimp risotto, special thanks to bas for taking care of us.

If you are looking for some amazing food by the beach with prompt service Al Qubtan is a place to be. Being in sharjah I always thought the hotels here are not upto the standard of any star hotel in dubai or abu dhabi. However I was amazed by the food and service given to us at this place . Located in corner of the swimming pool this place gave us an experience we never expected . we attended a birthday party of one of my friend's daughter and I can vouch for it the quality of dishes and desserts backed with super service from very efficient staff is truly commendable. The food tasted fresh and the flavours we authentic be it arabic or european dishes. Also, the chef Sanjit personally came to meet us and ensured that everything is perfect. The dessert selection was very enticing and presentation was nothing less than what sheraton is known for globally. Definitely the restaurant and staff has lifted the standards to a level of a 5 star hotel in Dubai or Abu dhabi...

Stayed over at Sheraton Sharjah beach resort and spa. Was invited to try dinner at Al Qubtan and was so pleasantly surprised. Nikhil the staff who was assisting us was extremely friendly and helped us not only with our seats but also through the menu. There were so many things on the menu to be easily confused. He took us thorough the best sellers and other delicacies he thought we should try. So we ordered:<br/><br/>Chili shrimp cocktail: this was my favorite starter, it had chili Thai mango, avocado, chopped shrimp and topped with passion fruit. This gave this traditional American dish a beautiful Caribbean twist. 5/5<br/><br/>Cajun spiced chicken supreme: beautifully grilled chicken Breast served with grilled tomato and green bell peppers with a perfectly cooked corn on the cob 4.5/5<br/><br/>Catch of the day - Marinated banana leaves wrapped whole sea bass: amazing juicy flavors with the most amazing salad with a dressing and pomegranate juice giving it a distinctive taste garnish with lemon, Yumm 5/5<br/><br/>Wagyu beef burger: juicy beef burger with freshly cooked potato chips. Dint enjoy the pineapple inside but without it, it tasted nice 3.5/5<br/><br/>Coconut frozen Greek yoghurt: the best frozen yoghurt I have had in a long time. The jam / syrup of berries was amazingly tasty. The touch of passion fruit was the amazing twist. <br/><br/>For drinks we tried spice it up and Ba-Ma-wi: highly recommend the spice it up if u like spicy Thai flavour. <br/><br/>A must try even if you are not staying here. It's a nice place for a nice romantic dinner, I wish to go again in winters to enjoy the outdoor seating. Recommended highly.

On 6th May 2016 I went to Al Qubtan along with my friends and family for the dinner. The restaurant is well managed and the staff was active in all respect. The restaurant manager Mt. Rahul gave us a warm welcome and his efforts for keeping up the stand of the place was clearly visible. The food was excellent and sumptuous, the taste of it was stimulating mu taste bud with every bite of it. The drinks and desserts were equally grate and kept up to our expectations. I congratulate and thanks the Chefs ( Ross Barbecue) and team Al Qubtan for all their positive efforts to maintain the standards in all respect and making a regular evening of ours to an unforgettable moment for ever.
