One of the best affordable resto I've ever been! It's coziness & friendly staff made its impact - specially the super duper yummy foods���...& I didn't miss to notice the super cleanliness of the place; from the table & cuttleries to the toilet...& yes (I simply sneak), the kitchen which is the most important place in a resto- is so organized & clean. I will definitely come back�����

Everytime we want to eat chinese food we have only one in our mind. Chinese Star Restaurant serves excellent food and the restaurant is neat and elegant. The staff are really gracious and customer oriented so next time you want to eat in the restaurant just go at Chinese Star Restaurant, they will treat you like somebody...

Staff are friendly and accommodating, Food is superb! Especially the chicken dry chili and rice noodle with beef. Thanks to the awesome chef and crew! I’ll come back again and again. It’s a hidden gem in sharjah!

Normally, I wouldn’t go into this type of restaurant, but after reading the reviews, I had to try it for myself. The restaurant looks rundown and the decor is not the greatest, but the food is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! Fresh ingredients and large portions, I would definitely go again. Everything we ordered was delicious - Sweet and sour chicken, Kung pao chicken, sizzling seafood platter (not pictured), and veggie noodles (not pictured).

The Best Shabu shabu in Sharjah is now available in Dubai Al Karama. Ples roasted duck plus spicy fish hamour mouth watering. Tummy over filling 😂🥰

We had been to this restaurant quite a couple of times and we have never been disappointed. The customer service was superb! The manager and the owner were really friendly. Our favorite food to order was the beef fried noodles. It was soooo different from all the noodles we've tasted before. You can taste a bit of like bbq flavor in it. It was so yum! We also love the noodle soup with beef and coriander leaves in it. Their Hotpot is something ya'll should also try! Our favorite was the Butchi!!! It was the best Butchi ever! The texture was perfect it was sooo yummm! It was actually far far better than the Butchi you get from Ch*****g. 😊 Would difinitely visit again soon.

Came here for dinner.. my very first shabu shabu in sharjah and it never disappoint me.. the soup was amazing and i loved the crab balls.. we make an additional order of dry chicken in hot peppers and it was superb.. i would love to visit this place again.

First time eating a shabu shabu here in UAE and it didn’t disappoint. We ate outside winter time and the soup was so good. Good staff good food but small serving especially in the shabu shabu ingredients.

One of the best authentic chinese restaurant in shj,, food is delicious with pretty good quatity, hot pot is my fav one,, beside that veg fry rice, stir fried vegitables, deep fried chicken with chilli is very tasty,, recommended to all people who love chinese,,

The drive to sharjah is a solid pain but once in a while , just to eat at this hole-in-the-wall dive , it is actually worth it.

To be able to sit out in this weather and have their hot pot must be great. We have yet to do the hot pot but outside seating gets you exactly the same laid back service that sitting inside gets you we shall try the hot pot when the weather gets a bit more cooler.

The couple owners (Jason and Angela) have been the chef , the waiters , the busboys and are hands on with the cooking as well as the service, generally speaking. However , as like most good Chinese restaurants , service is relaxed and though language skills have improved with the addition of the philipino staff, an obvious gap in the translation with resultant mixups are to be expected unless it is Angela taking your order when not only you can benefit from her knowledgeable advise but be sure to have the service delivery improve quantifiably.

What makes this minuscule hole-in-the-wall is the food. The Chinese is real Chinese. No Indian cooks giving it the south Asian twist. No Hong Kong fusion to make it a high priced , fancy ingredient but average tasting "different" experience. Wholesome , home cooking, down to earth basic style Chinese food where some of the dishes , while familiar in name and similar in looks , still carry their distinctive schewan or Cantonese or regional flavors. How do we know? Were privileged to have Chinese locals order for us and confirming taste to be just like home. The place is filled with only Chinese. Had a menu only in Chinese (until recent change to pictures speaking louder than Chinese words) and some of the dishes are definitely for the Chinese taste buds.

Leaving the usual sweet and sour soup , fish , chicken and sizzlers etc. the place has some exquisite dishes like lady fish , black fungus (mushroom) with black vinegar , spicy beef tripe , lamb with gourd melon , steamed dumplings , chicken wings in Pepsi (too sweet but the lil ones love it) which though not unique or unusual to the real Chinese owned/owner operated restaurants in town , have that home cared and looked over aesthetic , ingredients , taste that makes this place one of the better ones among similar handful places in Ajman and sharjah. None of the dubai places compares.

Singaporean style Chilli crab or pepper crab we had on prior request , is as good as the one you get in Singapore (west side beach near the airport). The crab is brought in live , does not cost an arm and leg and does not come any better. Almost as if a Singaporean Chinese chef is in the kitchen.

The fish is fresh and cooked to make the various fish dishes without a fishy taste and without the need for deep frying (though lot of the fish dishes are)

We like and love the dumplings. Steamed. Ask for the finely cut ginger and a couple of slivers of same on top of the dumpling before you dip it in the vinegar is a food sensation you can look forward to. We do.

A must try if you happen to be in sharjah. Drive up there , anyways , if you want or like authentic Chinese food.
