I just love their customer service. Nice and separate portion for families to sit. Comfortable ambience along with amazing food. I love their lentil soup later my most favourite and for what I visit them is their chicken charcoal served along with fresh fries. My husband loves their mutton biryani he can finish the entire plate himself and mashaAllah the quantity is good for 2 persons.
Delicious food
Nice ambience
And great service
Love this place! If you go in and try nashif you will come back to eat all the time in this restaurant! I know that place almost 11 years and it’s all the same quality food. And staff also same person serving me 11 years))) fantastic place! Must go for it to eat)))))
This is the place my husband bring me first time after marriage . I love every thing about this reasturant I start with soup dal soup which I love soo much greasy salad . My husband ordered nashif and kabab too. Taste was so juicy and yumm Love Bukhara rice too j
Love the mutton nashif and roti. If you are dine in they will serve you freshly made rotis. Even there biriyanis and mutton rice is heaven. Too much to have for 2 people.
Egg tomato is also yummy
My husband and I were driving looking for a place for lunch. We randomly decided to stop by here.
We started with refreshing glasses of sulaimani and mint which tasted even better with a squeeze of lemon juice.
On our menu were a mutton nashif which was accompanied by a bowl of dal soup and mandi rice. We also picked a half piece of tandoori chicken which came with fries, a side salad and bread.
The mutton nashif was out of this world good. The combination of spices, the tenderness of the meat, and the flavor of caramelized onion made for a delicious meal. The tandoori chicken was also well cooked and seasoned.
The mutton nashif is definitely a must try. I am definite taken back by the simplicity of the restaurant and the quality and flavor of the food that was presented.
Good service, great kababs and tandoori roti with hummus. One heck of a place to try out the authentic Arab food and thier soup and salad are really good too.
Overall experience - 8/10
Once upon a time, if you wanted to buy a shampoo, you went and you got one. The whole family used it, liked it and was fine with it. Now if you go to buy a shampoo, there is one for kids, males, females, dandruff, shine, silky, abaya one, etc., etc., etc. Omar Al Khayyam reminds me of a place which refuses to define its personality by stupid trends. Instead, it understands that it has set a trend and now must work to maintain it so it does just that. From what I have seen, the menu is almost unchanged since more than 5 years (except for being printed a bit nicer now). You enter the place for men to sit and it is just fine. Only when you enter the family area made up of separate cubicles with your own sink and ac that you begin to appreciate the simplicity of the matter. I used the shampoo example for a reason. Just like those times, you absolutely cannot alter any item on the menu. It is made the way it is made. NO customization for you whatsoever.
There is no soft music in the family area. Just a nearby family laughing. All is good in this world. Welcome back to the simple time. The waiter/waitress comes, takes your order and goes. He/she is not rude and not friendly. They are doing a job and doing it well. You tell them what you want and they bring it for you. Want something else? Ring the bell. Here you go. Enjoy sir. Finished? Ring. Tell them you want Sulaimani tea and they give you one free. No extra charge.
Parking can be an absolute nightmare. Mujarrah is bee's hive of never empty parking spaces (paid or free), baladayya and cops roaming around to fine you for parking on the road so you had better be careful. Prepare yourself for a very long walk to the restaurant and back. Just tell yourself that it will be worth it.
In a world where people are so complicated that they ask for humus with pine seeds instead of just plain humus, this stands as a refreshing example of simplicity done at a level for the family. What happened to us? When did we become so complicated? Why did we become so complicated?
This place is great. This place is awesome. Moreover, just like the old shampoo that everybody liked and worked for everybody, this place will work you also. But ONLY if you give it a chance.
Nice place to have some quantity time with family in complete privacy as restaurant have family partition seating area 👌
Food is already served hot 👍
Tastes really nice, one of the best place to have Arabian food ✌️
If you are going to have some proper Arabic cuisine its a good choice , staff is quite humble an food is very mild , maybe not perfect for Asians , but fine , over all good experience
My fourth visit over as many years, and again very impressive. We were a group of four middle aged men away for a boys weekend, and we got a great reception from the friendly waiting staff.
Great place for after work and light meals. Always pretty full in the evening. Good atmosphere, helpful staff, but not the cheapest place in town!
I have tried there chicken biryani and mutton biryani it's just so awesome and the place is also so good to dine in and there delivery is very quick loved the place and food
The service in impeccable. The food is fantastic. Should be at the top of the list for special dinner options.
we loved it and I will recommend to my family and friends
A friend of mine suggested this place long back, tried it recently. its in the heart of Rolla area. luckily found parking right in front of the restaurant or else its kinda annoying to find parking around that area. the food was great. if you're a family or couple they have compartments upstairs with built in hand wash basins lol kinda weird tho. we ordered their kabab platter for two, some fries and rice. it was delicious
One of my favourite restaurant, Its a place I keep visiting from my childhood, Special occasions I come here with my family,
Taking about Food, I love there Hammus, Kababs and Mutton Nasheef, I never liked any Hammus better than this one
This place serves one of the best Persian grills. Slightly over priced but food is fresh with decent portions.
Arabic food at its finest place. The family rooms , being neat and clean was just icing to my review. Waiters are well trained and co-operative. Loved the way they serve tea (sulimani) in those traditional Arabic cups. Overall I would give them 5/5. 👍
Has had some of the best Arabic food from here.
The grills are great. So are the rice varieties available.
The mixed grill is a must try as it provides a taste of all the grills available.
The arayes is great. The chicken grills are great but the mutton grills are the best( tikka and kebabs).
Some might find it a bit too salty, but I've only ever felt that for the biryani.
Every meal comes along with a soup, salad, hummus and bread or soup, salad and rice for the rice items. The bread when fresh is so soft. The hummus is tasty but I've had better. Salad is standard fare... Cucumbers, carrots and a variety of leafy veggies.
Do remember to ask for olives and onions, they go real well with the food. Also the soup are of two types... I personally prefer the mutton soup. The other one is dal soup.
And the biryani is better when had with the grilled chicken instead of the regular chicken. They also refill the rice as many times as you want... It's too filling.
Overall, a place that must be tried and revisited. Great for family outings, they also have a family area upstairs. Combine that with staff that are usually friendly( don't bother going there during rush hour, they won't take care of you much then) it's always a win-win.
The best arabic restaurant ive been to.
Tasty food and worth the price..
Hummus is just amazing! Looooved the food..in my neighbourhood as well
The food is fine and average for a pricy arabic rest.
Was a fan of this place before
Then i tried home delivery.
Portions were small.
Kebabs and chops are a must have here.
Try the sulaimani after the meal.
Ambience and staff is very nice.

Love kababs then this is the place. There lower deck is very well renovated. Quite a friendly ambience. With the upper family seating just amazing with each personalised room type dining. The food is a value for money. And the best part it is never too late to get. There it is open 24hrs.
I recommended you have there complimentary tea after the meal. It is just Amazing.
