This isn't your typical Indian restaurant. The decor is very traditional. But their food is very modern woth a twist that caters Indian flavors in Arab palate.
Tried a few dishes being the shrimp risotto, lamb kebab, biryani and few other dishes. Really loved the flavours. They are presented beautifully as well.
A bit steep in pricing but definitely worth trying out

Went here for dinner. The ambiance was lovely and the service was attentive. Coming to the food, I don’t recall the exact names of the dishes as this review has been a long time coming since our visit, but I do recall ordering that was TANDOORI CHICKEN TIKKA it was amazing..... I have tried spicy food in other restaurants they put too much oil and I really hate it...the food was enjoyable and delectable. Having said that and not to sound like a complaint but more like feedback, I think a place as fancy as this and priced as such has the added bar of higher expectations which food taste-wise I think left me wanting a bit more. However, enjoyed our overall experience and evening and I think it’s worth the visit for a special occasion... Interiors are eclectic with desi vibes.

We will surely visit again for the butternut pumpkin soup it was so so delicious yummy, all the three complimentary chutneys was having sparkling chatpata taste, Mumbai Masti pineapple saffron twist it was so refreshing, Prawns Risotto briyani, hyderabadi tandoori prawns,butter chicken balls was also too good in taste. Highly recommended 👍 kindly upgrade your new menu in Zomato.
Welcoming staff and Service gets a 10/10, the chutney with the fryums open up the taste buds, for the starters I would recommend the mixed chicken kebab, the tender meat just melts away, makes your mind wonder if you took a bite of the chicken or butter with herbs and chutney.
For the Mains I would say the meat Rogan Josh wasn't really on point with the gravy(curry), too watery for my tatse, but the meat in the gravy was beautifully cooked to perfection, the breads served with the gravy where bought hot and good.
The mutton Biryani is a must taste, the saffron and Malia with the spicy biryani masala feels like an artistic signature and would put a smile on your face.
The portions served where modest and the serving plates, decor of the interior feel upscaled and elegant, well done RANG.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Sharjah, I tried their chicken biryani and it was very delicious, the problem is it's a small portion.
Best butter chicken I had in the UAE so far. I ordered butter chicken and saffron rice. I'll admit the rice was a little bit dry but overall it tasted amazing and would recommend.
Rang was a restaurant that I had heard a lot about, especially, the butter chicken balls. I finally went and it was definitely worth all the praise I had heard! The food was awesome and unusual, as it was fusion food. We ordered a Tandoori Chicken Pasta, which was an explosion of flavors. It was something that we were not expecting, it was cooked excellently, with a subtle taste of the Tikka masala. This was one of the best Indian restaurants.
However the decor, for me, was over the top and slightly corny. But on the whole the restaurant is definitely worth visiting.
Loved the food and the ambience. The butter chicken balls were worth every penny. Had tried the mutton biriyani too. I think it was the perfect amount of spice for a north Indian inspired dish. The melon twist was definitely thirst quenching in this heat.

I never opted to dine-in anywhere in Sharjah, however loved this experience. Rang is the perfect combination of amazing food, service and ambience.
We ordered Kadai Paneer and Black Dal along with Butter Naan as main course. I must say they serves the best Black Dal in town. We tried some Mocktails Strawberry Mojito, Tropical 🏝 Feista, Namaste Mumbai, Bollywood Lemongrass and Mint Lemonade and was very pleased with each mocktails. Atlast, we also enjoyed their delicious Gulab Jamun 😋👌🏻

Despite of being away from the city and being a weekday, the restaurant was fairly busy. The interiors are done very beautifully. Nice ambience.
Helpful staff. But was disappointing was that various items from the menu were not available, even from their Rang Specialties. The menu is very limited, but the taste is very good. Everything on our table was delicious.
One thing I noticed is that they don't have any variety in chicken in terms of flavor, most of their chicken dish is butter chicken themed. Be it the butter chicken balls or chicken risotto biryani or the butter chicken gravy in itself.
I liked the innovativeness and presentation of the dishes. Their dessert are different and good too. We had the Cheesecake with parle G biscuit 👌.
They have a very interesting Ramadan Iftar Menu, for AED 78 pp. It's a must-try. Many new items which are not on the regular menu.

There was a trend back in 2012/3 to hire dwarfs in jumeira restaurants to attract customers from the road. really disappointed to see this trend is now in practice in muweilah and in rang.
Been here nice ambience excellent hospitality by staffs Asif was handling ensuring customer understood the menus well choosing right choice of items enjoyed Indian fusion food of ribs Briyani balls and Delhi poori. Spices is added right proportions as taste remained for long time. Enjoyed will visit soon.

My favorite indian spot in Sharjah. Indian cuisine with a twist, their biryani risotto is heaven, love the butter chicken balls, i tried two dishes that were average(tikka burger and lamb kebab), that’s why the rating is 4. Good to have such a restaurant in Sharjah, hope they don’t lose their consistency with time like many restaurants in sharjah.
I really like the interior design of the restaurant. Delicious food but a little bit cold. I strongly recommend the butter chicken balls far most the most delicious thing on the menu.

We were surprised when we walked into this restaurant in university city sharjah. Such beautiful interiors and colours! Absolute justice to the name "rang". We visited at 1.30pm on a friday and the restaurant was quite. They serve deliciousindian cuisine served here. Loved the menu on the ipad, the service and the food. We had the prawns biriyani, which was the just perfect, loved how juicy the prawns was and the portion is good to share among 2 and the gulab jamun cake.
Visited this place 3-4 times.... Good food...good taste.... I think the management has changed the menu in recent times...!! Being a pure vegetarian, we have a good options for dal makhani ...but this time it let us down, due to not good in taste...:( Also they removed the rasmalai cheesecake from their menu, which was really amazing....they should add it in the menu...!! Overall good food, good ambience...would visit again..:) cheers..!!
Me and my friends are trying to find a good Indian Restaurant and we just saw one along university city. Its very easy to find because its just after the petrol pump. I came there along with my friends and we tried some of their dishes. cheese nan, butter chicken and chicken biryani. The taste didn’t disappoint me and especially the service i would like to commend all of them for their attentiveness. They also have a very good ambiance. we will definitely come back to try some other dishes.

First i would thank waiter Ghim mostafa for his kind hospitality and care .. an amazing Indian restaurant at the most lively new parts of Sharjah.. the atmosphere so indian plus there is no spice aroma like other Indian restaurants.. its so clean and the food taste delicious in addition its light not oily .. must try their lobster biryani and from the starters get dhani pori .. chicken lollipop and samosa .. enjoyed the sulaimani tea at the end of it

Have been to this restaurant 4-5 time.We used to go there for dal makani and rasmalai cake but recently they changed their menu and removed rasmalai cake which I would request the management to add again to the menu. The dal makhni on our last visit was not as good as it used to be and they have reduced there quantity for most of the dishes which is not enough for 2 people. Apart from this the taste and quality of food is really good.
Good food here!! I waited for my food because of the late delivery not much late but few minutes from the expected time. When it came was delicious and well flavored. Lobster Biriyani & Butter Chicken was awesome and the portion was huge. I will order from here again.
I visited the restaurant in the afternoon today and I truly loved the experience. Very warm and welcoming staff. Very quick in bringing the orders and beautiful ambience..I loved the way they have done the interiors.. now coming to the food.. I read the reviews from other visitors and decided to go with the Butter chicken balls and like everyone said it was amazing..a very different type of butter chicken..cute presentation of the dish too.. like little eggs in a crate.. Then I ordered the prawn risotto and the chicken biryani.. Although I liked the risotto was not so impressed by the biryani.. the biryani could have been a little more spicy.. Overall I think I saw a fusion of dishes and enjoyed my lunch..
I would suggest the management to do something about the flies (a couple of which decided to visit our table). Although not many but ruins the excitement of eating.

Visited this really amazing place to try out their new menu. First and foremost it was really difficult to locate the restaurant, even being on the main road it was difficult to identify the board of the restaurant. Please do something so that it will be easier for the people.
Talking about the ambience of the place, they have a really beautiful interior and its a quite amazing place to dine in.
We started with some salads, we tried the tandoori chicken salad and the mango salad. The salads were really amazing and fresh, loved the chicken tandoori one the most.
For the starters we tried some really amazing prawns and perfectly made mutton kebabs.
For the mains we ordered chicken biryani, prawn risotto biryani and some kesar malai chicken with breads. It was amazing and really delicious.
Overall it was a great experience, loved the food, ambience was really nice and the service was great.
P.s: just a little suggestion it would have been much better if the food being indian cuisine, was a little spicier.

This was my 2nd visit to Rang and it hasn’t disappointed me yet. The updated Indian cuisine is tasty and has an elegance of presentation not usually found in other local Indian restaurants. The interior is cozy and the tiny doorman is adorable!
went there with friends recommended by friend. its a real hidden gem. with cozy interiors with wonderful smiling staff. we ordered dahi puri and butter chicken balls. and was perfect appetizer. and our main course was cheese lababdar, lobster biriryani, tandoori chicken tikka and rissotto cheese biriyani. lobster biriyani was bit spicy. over all its great indian food. our server was annie she did a great job. the staff was really helpful and there are well known about menu knowledge, as per my experience well trained staff. after we order biscuit cheesecake and karak. definitely will go back there.Decor - 9/10food -9/10staff & Service - 10/10dessert - 10/10price 8/10

An Indian restaurant with cosy interiors. The restaurant has a minimalistic yet modern touch to it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The quantity that is served at the restaurant justifies the price that goes with it.
We ordered the pakoda which was well cooked and crunchy. The chicken malai and chicken 65 was great in taste as well. The best was served last which is the "ras malai cake". I was really surprised by how the cake blended in with the ras malai.

Excellent place. Ambience - nothing over the top but very friendly. Food - very good quality, presentation and taste. We had the butter chicken balls which was awesome and do try their Bubblegum mock tail also which is innovative and tasty. Service (our server was Rahul) was up to the mark and pro active which is missing in most places nowadays. For 2 people you will end up spending around 160 - 170 Dhs but every penny worth it.

I came here with great people so I might be extremely bias but I fell in love with this cozy restaurant.
Not only is the good food but the service is really great and the aesthetic is pleasing. The blue colors are really calming and the furniture is eye catching. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
The food is delicious. I’ve had Chicken 65, which can be a little spicy. The only complain her is the lack of options for how spicy it should be served. The Chicken Risotto Biryani was mouth-watering. The crispy pakora was decent.
As for dessert, I’ve had Gulab Jamun. For those who are addicted to sweets, this is the perfect dessert.
It was my first time going to this restaurant and I was surprised! 10 mins away from me and never tried it before. It was amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. the interior design just relaxes you and makes you feel welcomed. I recommend this place highly. At least you should try it once.

Came here to introduce my Egyptian friend to India food and may I say that she was a huge fan of the food and this place. The ambiance was also very cute and the staff was super friendly.
What we ordered:
Pav Bhaji, Chicken Malai Tikka, Spiced Chicken Biryani, Butter Chicken, Rasmalai Cake and Biscuit Cake.
We enjoyed everything we ordered and we highly recommend people to order the things we tried out. It was really tasty and they were very creative and innovative with their dishes.
But it was a bit pricey and since so many students study around this restaurant, it can get a bit expensive for us.
But overall, highly recommend this place.

Pao bhaji and butter chicken balls were the other two item which we tried and we highly recommend these two dish
Pao bhaji was delicious with soft pao quantity and quality both were good
Butter chicken balls were the best butter chicken I have tasted in uae so soft and tasty just melts in mouth

Rang is a bit expensive but the quantity is more than enough for one person!

Lazy evening, decided to go there with family. Had a hard time locating the place. It's wedged between the Adnoc petrol station and Zushi. Liked the ambiance, decorated quite nicely with nice hindi oldies playing in the bg. They have a limited menu, so selection becomes easier. Ordered Chicken 65, Butter Chicken, Chicken Masala, Kerala Fish curry, Butter Naan, Coconut rice and Chicken Biryani. Curry portion is good enough for two. Coconut rice was good as so was the biryani. Food was served quick enough, Only when you want extra naan, order before you finish the first as it takes time for the second serving to come. The prices are bit high for the portions. Staff were friendly. Overall a nice place to visit once.
