I have been to Mavani Restaurant many times and it always served me awesome food. This time we tried Tandoori Lobster Masala and it was awesome. I will always recommend this restaurant if you like Indian food and you are near Sahara Centre, please go and visit them.

Makani is a must try restaurant , the food is delicious and offers great variety for Indian food lovers. My personal favorites are the mouth watering veg n non veg kebabs and chicken biryani. After a delicious main course for dessert the Ras Malai and Gajjar ka halwa is not to be missed. The interiors are nice with private cabins for groups perfect for any celebration .

I’m a great fan of Indian food! This restaurant served one of the best Indian food in UAE for me! The price is so worth it! Quality food served by nice staff very courteous. Their mutton biryani is the bomb! The mutton is so soft you dont have to chew hard to enjoy it. The butter naan and garlic naan together with Paneer butter masala is a double threat. Gosh. This combination is my favorite. The flavors are so rich. This will be my go to Indian restaurant when I craved for Indian food. So good! So goooood! YOU MUST GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. Quick!

We have been ordering from makani for so long but this was the worst biriyani i ever had. The rice was not fully cooked. Usual aroma was missing and was not served in earthern pot. Sorry to say this will be my last order from makani.

Had lunch with a large group of friends. Ordered several dishes biryani (chicken, mutton and shrimp), naan, vegetable kurma and could be more but I lost count. We also had lassi. The place was great, servers were helpful but a special call out to the food. It was fabulous. If you are in Sahara this restaurant is a must visit.

It exceeded our expectations even the lobster my grandson had. They took time to prepare it for his taste. The saag ghost lasooni was delicious - a spinach based mutton curry. Really tantalized the taste buds. Our waiter Pavan was very attentive and made very good suggestions. Definitely a place to visit again - very extensive menu.

Visited there last friday for lunch , overall satisfied with the quality of food , service and the ambience The staff were friendly and prompt . We ordered taftaan , garlic naan, mutton chops gravy and veg makhani . I did not like the veg makhani at all , however the mutton chops was exception , the meat was so tender and would just melt in our mouth and was very deliscious . The taftaan which im trying for the first time was also very tastey and we regretted not ordering more of it instead of the garlic naan . At the end we were too full to have another taftaan- it was soft and delectable. Garlic naan was average . For desert we ordered 1 Makhani special falooda - was not bad , nothing unusual . overall we spent AED130 for 3 of person. Good value for money. Would recomend

This restaurant privileges one with the experience of fine dining. The service and ambience is first-rate. We had ordered a Chicken Shorba, the blending of the spices was on point. For the mains, we order DUM KE MURG, VEG TAWA, TAFTAAN, GARLIC NAAN, TANDOORI ROTI and DAL MAKHANI. All the dishes tasted toothsome. There was a garçon named Mintu. He made our first visit cozy. He suggested us to try all the mains mentioned above and his selection matched the taste of our tastebuds.

Amazing kebabs. Gosht Bharwan is a must try. Lucknowi chat was epic and so was the papdi chaat We decided to go with yakhni plao instead of biryani and i must say it was a decision well made. Dal makhani was a HIT. The only drawback was the size of roti, too small.

We ended up going here for Iftaar. It was a last minute decision because of a mess that happened in another restaurant so by the time we reached Makani it was just 5 minutes to iftaar but alhumdulillah! They served our food within 20 minutes. The minute you step in, you're hit with a wave of delicious aromas. Fasting a whole day and then entering here is pretty much torture because you have to wait to break your fast :P We were seated in one of the private sections so it felt great to just sit and communicate with the fam in utmost privacy. And they have a small button if you want to call the waiters! I loved that feature. And the ambience of the restaurant was of royalty yet comfort at the same time. They gave us a small fruit platter as soon as we arrived and took our orders immediately. Food arrived quickly and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered a mix of chicken and mutton platter along with butter nans. It looked just as good as it tasted. Definitely coming here again to try their biryanis and maybe some seafood too.

I would not wish to give even one star, but there is nothing below one star. I have ordered food on 3-May-2019, the delivery did not reach my apartment for 2 hrs from the order time; kids were starving so we finally went out for dinner. No one from the restaurant even bothered to inform me about the expected delays. Order was placed thru Zomato, therefore I informed Zomato that enough of waiting and we are going out for dinner. The delivery person finally reached and called me to open the door (after 2+ hrs). I denied accepting the delivery, since we already were out for dinner and no one was at home. The delivery person left. Surprisingly, Zomato started to show that the delivery is done. I have complained to Zomato, they are currently following up the case since 5 days .......

Had their Gosht hydrabadi biryani and the Gosht galawati kabab. The biryani had a good ratio of masala and rice with a well balanced taste. Good portion of mutton and it was soft. A must try.👌 The Gosht galawati kabab was good too.. I would definitely recommend it.

It’s a good place for Indian food. They have quite a variety of Indian dishes. We had the kasturi murgh kebab which we had with taftans which are really soft breads. We also had their signature Hyderabadi dum biriyani which was good. Loved the place and the staff were courteous too.

It was out 2nd visit to this restaurant. We ordered chicken tandoori, butter chicken, tandoori roti and kulcha paratha. It was all yummy specially the tandoori. It’s very reasonable and good in quality and quantity . We were served by Mr. Pawan who was very polite, attentive and friendly ( also friendly with the kids ). The place is a bit far from our home else it would have been our every weekend visit. Also we were given 10 percent discount on our card. All the best and open more branches. The ambience looks elite but it’s totally reasonable.

We went for a quiet dinner here..the ambience is good, we sat in one of the private cabins tht thry have for families, ordered subzi seekh kabab and hariyali tikka..both were tasty and served hot with mint chutney..recommend the tikkas..then we had murgh tikka gravy with rotis taftan and naan..tasty again..for rice we had subzi masala biryani served piping hot in the clay pot with raita..overall a great experience and our attendent Mr Pawan was doing a great job with a lot of enthusiasm...thanks..

Hats off to the entire team of Makani Restaurant for such great Customer service and the finger licking food.... Quick service and great ambience are the main highlights of the restaurant with good seating capacity. Devdas, the manager of the restaurant and Pavan served us royally and made sure that all our requirements were met in such a short notice which is commendable. ( hosting a small birthday party for 15 ppl) All in all... it was worth every penny spent. Best wishes to the entire team of Makani Restaurant. Will be getting back here for sure... For main course we ordered paneer tikka biryani and jinga 🍤 masala biryani. Food was good and made to our preference (spicy). Service was also good.
