ordered mutton biriyani and chicken biriyani, prompt delivery, good customer service. ethnic kerala style biriyani, very tasty, there were 2 pieces of mutton in one biriyani, it comes with vermecelli kheer, raitha, pappad, pickle and dates pickle. well packed and quick delivery. Tasty food. I tried to order through zomata but it was mentioned that there is no delivery to my area (Al Majaz 1), but when i called them they delivered prompty. Highly Recommended restaurant.

I would love to go back to this place again and again! I recently had lunch with them and it was a wonderful experience. We had the panadanas chicken, chicken fry biriyani, ghee rice and mutton varutharacha curry. Let me start with panadanas chicken. It is a thai inspired dish wrapped in these leaves in a knot. Once opened, the small and taste are out of this world. I instantly fell in love with these knotted beauties. The chicken is soft, well cooked and with a tinge of sweetness. I would rate this dish at ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . Next the chicken fry biriyani. I have only had once before the fry biriyani and had not enjoyed it due to which i was pretty hesitant to try this as I would like some masala in my biriyani. The staff suggested they can customize it to my liking which was quite impressive and can i say i was super happy when the dish arrived. The biriyani was yummy and chicken was soft and juicy. It was a pretty good portion size for one person. The masala was spicy and i thoroughly enjoyed it. I would rate this dish at ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I have to say a word about their service - they were professional and very attentive and sweet. It is not always you find most of the staff behaving this way and i was very happy with their service for which i rate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I cant wait to go back and try their other dishes. Fish Kandahari is a really good starter they have. Other than this, food is ok and good. Value for money! The ambiance is good to visit with family.

Rahul, our friendly waiter guides us on our gastronomic journey through the delicious malabar cuisine. The family’s staple favourite remains the mango fish curry and the hot fluffy kerala parothas followed by the aromatic mutton biryani whose flavours are savoured right till the last grain of rice. But the journey starts much before that with the tantalizing starters of fish in green sauce and dry fry varieties. Todays new starter of thai prawns was a revelation! Will keep going back for more!

Brilliant Kerala cuisine at CN. The taste was more than what I expected. And in the intensity of the concentration in the food I missed also my usual practice of taking a few snaps.
Packed place and we were a large group. So onto the table came fish curry meals, chapathi, chicken varutharachathu, beef fry, fish pollichathu and tawa fish.
The experience was great as the food as top notch. Especially the chicken fish was mind blowing. The dessert at the end of it was a payasam that made us crave for more.
The only unfortunate was that there was a fly that gave us company throughout
I tried their idiyappam, appam, egg roast,beef curry and tea.
Perfect for those lazy Friday mornings when you are in mood for amazing kerala breakfast but not in ready to cook.

Loved the combo of crispy, sweet and hot Palappam with hot and sour tomato fry and their very special Paneer Mango Curry! They all taste as that of home made and gives you that nostalgic feeling that you are back to Kerala! The staffs are all very friendly! Would definitely visit it again!
This place has all my heart ❤️ Their meals are just awesome 😍 and the best is the fish fillet elayil tawa , spicy and always cooked to perfection 🤩 my daughter also is a big fan of it. So if its a no cooking day , lunch at notebook is the first option😄

This Mubarak celibrated with Calicut notebook. We ordered chicken & mutton biriyani. That was Awesome, Mouth watering teast & smell also, They served with 2 type of pickles especially Dates pickle 😋 , payasam & curd. Just one suggestion, ASAP please add egg with chicken biriyani. Ambiance is also good and fast service, would have rated higher than 5, if there was an option!!! Overall it was an amazing experience for us. Thanks to the team Calicut Notebook.
Enjoyed the dinner. Ordered soup and before that a special complimentary sweet in leaf was given. Lollipops were not that great but fine. Chapati and appam was fresh and both the chicken curries were excellent.
A good place for kerala food. The kanthari Fish Tawa is our all time favourite. The Indian dishes are worth the money. Would definitely visit again.
Thanks for existing guys! Like seriously. Probably one of the best Malayali restaurant in Sharjah and also in top 10 list in all of UAE. They use really good quality spices and also the prices are just right. Overall great taste, quantity and overall value. Maybe could use better interiors and valet parking which is offered in many places nearby.

Right place for kerala food lovers. Always rush. Better to order for a home delivery. Pretty fast delivery service. Food is great. But the snacks are not good. There are other small cafeterias which serves great snacks in half price.
Calicut Notebook is Best option available for kerala food in the rolla area.They serves some good varities of seafood and chicken in authentic kerala spices.Pandanas chicken is must try as a starter. Ive tried the prawns malabari which also kept up with standards. This is a place where a keralite/south indian can confidently come over for a dinner/lunch with family or friends. Staffs are courteous and five stars for neatness.
Today morning had Appam and egg roast . It was excellent. So far the best appam and egg roast I had in sharjah. Do try it . Breakfast available only on weekends as of now.
Ghee rice and nadan erachi curry was our order for lunch.
Coconut chutney and sweet dates pickle along with lemon pickle and payasam was also in the package. Pretty good packaging and very tasty food. Fast delivery.
One star less as the curry was not spicy even though we specifically ordered spicy curry.
Recommended food is bamboo biriyani and mutton biriyani. But both were out of stock by the time we ordered
Staff is well mannered and humble.. food is just too good for indian foodies.. loved the way the staff interact with the visitors.. overall a great experience. Their gesture to greet visitors with this amazing salad is quite unique.
We always order take away and dine in at this place and they have never let us down. Their delivery is very quick as well, once I ordered food and advised it was urgent as I had guest coming over and they delivered it real quick. Keep the good work

This would be the second time I am having food from this restaurant.Before writing about food I will first write about the delivery. I ordered through Zomato and in exactly 10 mins my door bell rings. It was a lightning speed delivery. Even though they are not far but compared to other restaurants this was good. The chicken biryani was typical malabari style but I am emphasizing more on the meals that I ordered. Fish meals!!! Too many side dishes come along with it. Nothing less than a sadhya. The main fish curry was yum and I can still feel the taste as I am writing the review. Awesome food, awesome delivery. Too good

Best fish curry meals ever! So many different items in the meal, each with a distinct flavour, complete with two-thirds varieties of chutneys and chips and fried chilli and buttermilk. Earlier when they were called 'Alkapuri', they used to serve this amazing unique green leaf crunchy salad as an appetizer. They don't anymore and I really wish they do start serving it again. We've barely gone a la carte only once at the restaurant and so the review is only for the meals. One can order a side of crispy fried sardines to complement the meals. The fried sardines are just delectable!
The best i like about this restaurant is their salad.a different concept which should be tried out.starters are good like the chicken soup and sweetcorn soup.we had the butter chicken,chicken vazhattiyath,chatti curry fish and fish mango curry all were yum.they also have some nice juice which are refreshing and is must try.chembali fish mango curry with mango taste to point.wheat porotta n kerala porotta were not at all oily which is the best part.naan was good but got harden while serving but thats still ok bcoz taste was good.
Parking is hard to come by. I even park at two blocks away. Their food and service are that good. Particularly good for crab curry and fish curries. Porotta is excellent. Even a simple rice, curd and fish curry combination can lead you to ever eat. It is so tempting that I am stopping the review here and visiting them again right now.
Note: Crab Kadappuram is their best curry, in my opinion
Pretty good place to experience South Indian food . A good welcome drink is been served which itself is nice as it’s different from the regular squash which is been provided by others . Food is served hot I mean mostly prepared after the order especially the Indian breads.
