Amazing south Indian cuisines served. Love their veg biryani n hara bhara kebab. Dosa and uttapa are a worth try too

Morning we ordered pongal and vada, we didn't get sambar in that parcel, after v wakeup and opening, sambar pack is missing, it is very ridiculous and fed-up. While hungry it gives drastic feel and angry, restaurant also took time to respond for my query.

Average restaurant with normal taste. They can improve their food taste. dosa was fine. poori baji was also ok. vada and idly was not upto the expectation. price is affordable.

Ordered north indian thali.. Its average in taste

Unfortunately was not very happy with the food from here. Got breakfast delivery of idli, uppma and a butter lassi. The idli was not soft and was not fluffy. The uppma was very dry. The butter lassi was too spicy and I did not like it at all. The sambar was also very watery. The prices are reasonable but as the quality is not up to par we will not be ordering from here again.

Good food but a very much delayed delivery service. They need to concentrate a lot on their delivery and their pricing. All items appear costly when compared to other restaurants.

Takes almost 1.5 hrs for delivery. They should communicate such things atleast prior to accepting orders.

Been an hour now and yet to exchange it

Ordered Bhendi fry with potatoes - Food was delicious and the delivery was done on time.<br/>Quantity was pretty good as well.

Recently ordered poori baaji and vada it tasted heavenly 😋 Delivery took a little longer and but the food was worth the wait . Will definitely try more dishes .

If you are looking for pocket friendly simple food then it’s a nice place to explore. Very simple ambiance. <br/>I would recommend there baingan Bharta.

Butter Paneer Masala is awesome, Aloo Bhindi is good. Friendly service with extra mile. It would be nice if they also have wheat paratha.

Ordered a mini tiffin for breakfast and it was delivered in time. The quantity was so much that 2 person can have their breakfast. All items in mini tiffin was nice.

I ordered chapati, paneer kadhai and dal fry from this restaurant a while back. Food was delivered a bit late than the time given via Zomato. Quality of the food was decent.

Delivery boy hang the food in the door handle and left without any information, after waiting of 1 hour for the food i called the restaurant they said they deleverd the fud long time ago.

Had ordered a cauliflower manchurian through zomato app and they took 2 hrs for the delivery . The manuchrian was delicious . After few days we decided to walk into the restaurant for tea .We ordered Plain dosa and Dahi puri.Both the dishes were well prepared .The tea was good too.Will comback to try more of their dishes.The location is a setback and its very difficult to find a parking.

Food was very cold..not worth the money..jeera rice with paneer was given as paneer fried rice and payasam was pathetic..even curd rice was not up to the mark..

This has been my go to restaurant ! <br/>From amazing dosa to the best Chinese food specially Chilly Paneer is to die for.<br/>Only the Al Nahda Branch has it done perfectly well.<br/>

Ordered Chinese Combo, the delivery was quick Food was actually good. Fried Rice and noodles were little oily but tasty. Soup was fantastic. Food was properly packed and quantity was good.

If I rate regarding food quality ,taste and delivery its very nice honestly. But now they charging 5 AED for delivery not like before and this restaurant is very close to my appartment.So even though HUNGRY 50 bonus wont help customers..<br/><br/>

Worst South Indian food and service from this Restaurant . My house is 5 min away from this Restaurant and they took 45 min to deliver the food which was cold and not at all land over any standard. The Coconut chutney was a soup and idly, upma was so cold that no one will look it again. Thanks for your first and last service.

foods are ok as expected. I ordered vada set ,poori and allo gopi.. all tastes good. but my delivery got delayed more than 2 hours. i called and checked and they told some system issue...anyway i hopes it will not happen every time:)<br/>

Ordered a north Indian thali and i must say its value for money meal.Food was hot and fresh.Delivery was quick.Really satisfied with the food except the soup which was quite bland.

This restaurant is located in al nahda opposite to al safeer super market side. This place is quiet big seating arrangement and very clean. Staff is also very clean and attentive to the customers. We have ordered south indian dish which is masala dosa. Sambhar was really good and they serve with 3 different chutneys and even the dosa was crispy and good. They also have north indian food which i am going to try next time soon. Its very reasonable too.

A South Indian delight for the veggies. The korma, chapathi, lemon rice and the paneer were fabulous. Found the service to be quite to the mark from reception till send off. It's not the best with bit of our if place lighting and colour ambience , also to add the pricing. The Chinese thali was not upto the mark , being a regular customer of the South Indian food I wanted to try something different today and it was bad . But I highly recommend the South Indian and North Indian Thalis , it’s really affordable and worth it .

Amrutha is one my fav places to order from when I want to eat South Indian Delicacies.Pricing is a little on the higher side however to compliment it they deliver good quality food and also in good quantity.<br/>Big fan of their North Indian Thali.<br/>Indian Sweets and chats are also fine.

Ordered rawa dosa, masala dosa and butter milk of which butter milk was refreshing and both dosas very regular fare. There are better options out there for dosas however may order from this restaurant again.

I have eaten/ordered a few times now. No complaints, genuinely good food. One of the finest pure veg places I have been to. You will see more of me if wife stops cooking😉

Total waste of money!!!! Ordered idli_vada set for takeaway. Just disgusting!!! Idli tastes tangy, vada not crunchy...only coriander in samber no taste.I really don't know what kind of chutney they are giving.I suggest the restaurant people to know how to make samber from Udupi restaurants and about vada from tea Junction in Dubai.Really its not a Tamilinadu taste, coz I worked 2 months in Coimbatore and Sulur.Hope zomato have an option 0 *. 9dhs for idli-vada set total waste.Will never order anything from this restaurant.<br/><br/>(***my review about this restaurant is only for idli-vada set and not for other dishes !!!)

Sambar is extremely poor quality. Probably previous days leftover. Also the chutney is not at all fresh. Dosa quality was okay. Kesari was not properly made.<br/>Also the packing is so tight nobody can open it as it was all oily. Inside everything simply bangs onto each other. Spilt.

One of the best veg restaurants I’ve been to. The service is very fast and the staffs are friendly. All their dishes are tasty. We have their mushroom biryani , channa batura, Mysore masala dosa, Pav bhaji, onion oothapam etc. all were very yummy. Would recommend this restaurants to all who are a fan of dosas and mainly veg dishes. Keep up the good work!

Onion utttapa, mini tiffin and all the south indian breakfast items are nice, only bad part is the minimum order value via zomato is high as compared to other restaurants in the same category

This afternoon, I have ordered a "South Indian thali" from these guys on Zomato. They have 10% discount for online ordering and the delivery was before time. <br/><br/>Usually, meals are ordered from Saravanaa Bhavan or Vasantha Bhavan or restaurants of that sort and I love Tamil Thali meals. On all those meals packets the rice comes in a standard size rectangular container. When the packet delivered today from Amrutha Restaurant was opened, the usual container for packing rice was appeared to me missing. <br/><br/>Then it is revealed that they serve rice in a small round shaped container. It would be almost enough to satisfy the lunch time hunger of a 10 year old. Neither it is anywhere near enough to serve an adult nor it is the similar quantity served by other restaurants for this price. <br/><br/>I was confused and thought that there should a mistake in packing the thali from the restaurant's side and called them to check on it. They politely told me that, it is their standard quantity and they have been doing the same for about 10 years now. I was mesmerised by this bit of information. Further, they told me that it is the management which decided so and gave me the manager's number.<br/><br/>Had a word with the manager and he was adamant that the rice is of the right quantity and they decided so by looking at the possible wastage of rice. As far as I could see, the possibility of wastage from this sort of quantity is Zero percent as an adult would require 2 of their Thali to have a decent lunch.<br/><br/>Also, he mentioned that they have a "Kerala Thali" which has double the quantity of rice and is 4 or 5 dirhams cheaper than what I ordered. I was even more confused with this information, as they made me pay 4 or 5 dirhams more for half the quantity of rice when I ordered "South Indian thali".<br/><br/>Then he used the pooris that comes with the thali as an excuse for the reduced quantity of rice. But all other restaurants, serve rice in standard quantity and they serve Pooris/Chappathis as well for this price. When I pointed out this, he said that he never had Thali from any of their competitors and once again mentioned that they have been doing it this way for about 10 years now and never had anybody complaining about it. With that I ended the conversation. <br/><br/>I am still not sure what they are trying to achieve by limiting the rice to less than half the standard quantity. After all, well cooked rice is the centrepiece of "South Indian Thali".

I had Onion Uthappam today. It was delicious. Friendly staff. Good for Vegetarians around this area. One of the best food i had and I enjoyed.

Had ordered their Kerala meals and Gobi 65 starter.<br/>As in the online menu they have mentioned two types of Rices (but only one type came) and buttermilk (which wasn’t even there in the kit ).<br/>The Kerala meals arrived with sambar (the worst sambar I have ever had) , rasam (which was just okay ) , bitter gourd curry ( which I had to spit after having the first mouth.it tasted really bad ) ,thoran (which tasted good) ,coconut chammanthi , pickle ,yogurt (which was the only thing I could mix with the rice for a taste,thankfully) ,pickle and papad.<br/><br/>Gobi 65-the quantity was good but the taste is just okay.<br/><br/>Definitely not a place to have KERALA MEALS !! Better try some other place .<br/>

one of the worst service I have ever received not once but three times, It takes more than 40 minutes to deliver a food to the same building where the restaurant is located. They seem like they are least bothered about customer satisfaction.<br/>14 aed for a pathetic fruit salad and 5 more aed for ice cream topping. Their paav bhaaji will let you faint with the crappy taste.  I would prefer rate 0 but there is no 0 option.

Today I ordered through zomato from amrutha restaurent hoping that the food will be better. It's utterly awful from this restaurent. Here is what i ordered and comments.<br/><br/>1. South India thali rice which contains rasam, rice, kootu, appalam, chilli fry, some kind of gravy with potato, poriyal, payasam, curd,<br/><br/>Comment : all these items were awful honestly. There is no taste at all very watery. There is not at all salt and there is no proper taste. I felt everything is just as sams. Rice came in gravy box lol. Payasam was bit okay but still not satisfied.<br/><br/>2. Ordered cutlet. <br/><br/>Comment : My Goodness.. what a cutlet it is. So pathetic. I do not understand why this food is so much tasteless and it's like full of potatoe chunk.<br/><br/>3. Lime Juice <br/><br/>Comment : Oh Gosh.. There is no sugar at all. I had to out sugar for the lime juice<br/><br/>4. Tea <br/><br/>Tea was okay for tea I am giving 1 star.<br/><br/>It's total waste of money. Not at all valuable to eat on in this restaurent or order it online.
