I love Al Mukhtaar Bakery. Mutton Arayes are yummy. The zaatar manakeesh is also very tasty. Reasonable and good quality food. Hummus is very delicious and Kebabs are very juice.
It is always crowded and quality is maintained by them. Clean place staff are good. Huge variety of food.

Al Mukhtar bakery is the oldest and best Lebanese bakery in Sharjah. they are famous for their AKkawi cheese, Lebanese Zaatar, Arabic bread and samoon. It is a classic bakery that has all the things a bakery should have. There are so many things to try from breads to pastries to biscuits and sweets at great prices! A really great place for having arabic fatayer and baked pies. We tried the cheese and turkey fatayer, the meat and cheese fatayer, the labneh and vegetables one and also ordered the roasted chicken pie. All were point on the mark. Their bakery is also really nice with a very wide assortment of biscuits and cakes and all the delicacies. Even their cappuccino was commendable. A wonderful place bursting with variety and flavours.
This place is an amazing place to eat fresh manakish. They are baking the bread in front of you. its been a habit to visit this place. I hope they will open more outlets in Dubai also.
It was a habit for a long time to go to this bakery and get awesome cheese manseesh, Keshk, spinach and pastries as well as their selection of delicious fresh bread and desserts.
Mukthar bakery serves a vast variety of delicious bakes. We were recommended to try cheese manakish (with honey). This dish was new to us, and it adds a rich, creamy sweetness, yet different in taste. Although we headed home with a sugar rush, it was worth the try! Also, this place has wonderful customer services.

One of the best bakeries in Sharjah! They have a lot of varieties of Arabic pastrys, cakes and savourys on their menu. My favourite from their menu is the cheese manakish, labneh and zaatar and vegetable pizza. So so delicious and inexpensive. I have also tried their chicken pizza. Didn't like it much because of the huge chicken pieces and it tasted bland. Absolutely no use of spices at all. But everything is made fresh in an open kitchen! :) They also sell freshy baked buns which I loveeee. (4 buns for 1aed) I also love how their seating area is in the open. It's quite difficult to find a parking, but the nearest to the bakery is a katcha parking at a walking distance. Takes less than a minute :)

The best feteer (Egyptian pies) I have ever had in my lifez the price is extremely reasonable, the service was O.K.
You have to try their sweet feteer (Ashta, honey and nuts) and their Soujuk/Basterma + eggs feteer.
Ordered their Manakesh and Fatayer. Manakesh is authentic and tasty. Fatayer was really nice too

One amazing place.. the manakish was just awesome. Completely reasonable and tasty. It's has become one of my fav manakish joints now. Will go bak soon to try the others on the menu. Manakish were well done and with good amount of cheese.

I’m so glad they do some promotion every Wednesday is like buy 2 fatayer and you get free 1 dessert fatayer was impressed with it.
The staff are very attentive forgot his name 2 hard working kuya are suggesting me out to have this fatayer, good upselling. Keep it up. The only thing I can tell to take a strong cut for that slices of those fatayer and manakish it’s hardly to cut while your eating by your hands, and why Turkish coffee is not in the menu. Everything all good.

And it all tastes really nice. I got the Halloumi Boat, the Musakhan Roll, the Akkawi Parsley Boat and a small piece of Kunafa. I loved all these items and seeing the rush there, I believe all their other items are also good.

Manqousheh dough is thin, light, fresh and tasty.
The pizza and spinach pastries were hot and light.
However, the big jackpot is the turkey and cheese fateera, super delicious, it has tomato within the mix and fresh green and black olives on top. Everything goes together, the turkey taste is strong enough to cut through the cheesiness.
All in all, i would recommend anything and will go there again for sure.

I had ordered food through online ordering on zomato. The food was a bit late. Apparently it didn't come from the Al Nahda branch. Nevertheless, I had ordered vegetable manakish with add ons of akawi cheese and chicken and lahm bil ajin manakish with add on of akawi cheese. The akawi cheese is very similar to mozzarella cheese. Both the manakish were delicious. One manakish is enough for one person. Love the thin crispy bread and mildly spiced fillings inside.
For delivery you do have to order for at least 25 dirhams. The food is very reasonably priced and fresh and delucious. Would definitely love to order more next time.
Would love to find something that is more spicy. And one more suggestion, if there was some description added under the items it would become very easy for non arabs like me.

We love their pie. Mukhtar meat pie is super delicious and recommended one for all the meat lovers, it has rich combination of meat filling, pepperoni, olives and cheese. My second favorite is their Sujuk manakish, has the right garlic flavor with well done sujuk. Avocado juice is highly recommended again a rich combination of avocado, almonds, honey and cream ( PS: not likely to get this during weekend due to high demand). Ambience is not great as it is a bakery and will give you the bakery feeling. Overall good place to catch up with friend for some lipsmacking pies

Their manakesh variety is very good and very pocket friendly. Tried their tea and coffee and its also good. They have very good variety of arabic/traditional breads which i found every time to be good and fresh.

We went to this place based on multiple recommendations, the service was fairly good, given the high demand, the food was ok, not the best Manaqeesh I tried, but not bad at all, the zaatar Manaqeesh is not great TBH, you feel like you crunch tiny stones under your teeth. The mix cheese i didn’t like it, there is one of the cheeses taste strong and I didn’t enjoy that taste, but what I liked that they were ok to change it or to return it which we did.
I have heard a lot about Al Mukhtar bakery. Some even dared to describe it as better than lebanons bakeries. So I had to check it out!!
Unique aspect: Honestly the best thing about this bakery is the dough they use it gets them apart from the rest. It's soft and melts in your mouth.
Recommendation: Go for mixes (cheese and za3tar, labneh and zaatar, cheese and veggies and so on) or just good old plain cheese!
Avoid: Plain zaatar it was too oily. And keshk was just weird it's nothing like keshk.
Verdict: Does it do it better than lenanon? That's not a fair comparison so I won't do it. But compared to bakeries here it easily lands top 5 in UAE.
The service was good and friendly. The staff are wonderful and there are plenty of them; the food is always good, innovative without being over-the-top clever.
